We are so thankful we hired Christine at Lily in The Valley for our spring wedding at Spray Beach Chapel and Parker’s Garage and Oyster Saloon.
Having worked in the area for years...
, she knows these locations like the back of her hand! Christine’s recommendations and vision were spot on. She knew where florals needed to be placed to make the room as beautiful as possible, in ways I wouldn’t have thought of! She was also able to help me think through how to repurpose flowers from the ceremony to the reception, leaving detailed instructions for my wedding planner and venue staff to make the transition seamless.
If possible, her florals are even more beautiful than her ability to plan. I shared a few images of what I’d had in mind, shared my preferred colors, and favorite flowers, and Christine created the most beautiful arrangements and bouquets. The florals survived for weeks after the wedding! It was such a treat to enjoy the florals after the day had passed.
In addition to the floral arrangements, we were also able to rent vases, hurricane glasses, and candles through Christine. Florals were the one area of wedding planning I felt like I was able to completely turn my brain off for because I whole-heartedly trusted Christine - and I’m so glad I did!

completely with selecting the flowers for our wedding, and she exceeded all of our expectations. Every arrangement was beautiful and fit our vision perfectly. She was wonderful to work with throughout the entire process, and her talent and attention to detail were evident in every aspect of her work. We couldn't have been happier with how everything turned out!

so easy. Based off of my Pinterest board and what we discussed during our two phone calls, she provided everything I wanted and more for my arbor/ceremony, bridal party, and reception area! I also got choked up when I first saw my bouquet, she just really nailed it. If you are getting married at the Sea Shell, Christine should be your go-to florist because she knows all of the best places to have floral arrangements/greenery throughout the venue which made wedding planning as simple as it can get. Could not be more thankful for Christine and recommend her for any floral needs!

s and floral arrangements for our beachy wedding. My sister preserved some flowers from my bouquet as a gift, and I'm so happy that I'll always have a piece of it to hold on to! We highly recommend hiring Lily in the Valley as your florist.
We worked with Christine for our big day. Her knowledge and skill is unsurpassed. All it took was a general color scheme and some ideas of what we wanted and she brought it to life...
as we never could have expected. We received comments that our flowers were “the best ever seen” from multiple sources. She stayed right in our budget and never gave us any reason to not trust her. So happy she was our choice!
This florist was recommended by my vendor and I can now 100% understand why. Christine was an absolute gem to work with. She was able to take my ideas and turn it into something ab...
solutely beautiful. I am not the most creative person, so I had told her a basic idea of the type of flowers and the color scheme I was going for. What she put together for me was gorgeous, and beyond anything I could’ve imagined up. WhileI was getting my hair and make up done on my wedding morning, two of my bridesmaids had walked through the reception area while they were setting up my centerpieces. They reported back upstairs to me and asked who had designed the layout for my tables, and I told them my florist came up with them. They told me that they were beautiful, and that I absolutely made a great choice in hiring her. When I finally got a look at my arbor florals coming down the aisle, as well as the beautiful tropicals that covered each of my guest tables and the venue, I was speechless. My wedding was October 8, and I still have one of my Bridesmaid bouquets that is still going strong . She made the process very effortless, and was able to create such a beautiful day for me with her vision. Can’t recommend her enough.
Wow! Where do I even start? Our flowers were absolutely amazing! The guests still talk about the centerpieces to this day. The bright colors, the flowers used, the arrangements t...
hemselves, everything about them was just gorgeous. Christine was fantastic to work with. She was very responsive and just knew what to do. All I did was explain the vibe I wanted and sent her some examples of colors I was looking for and she just ran with it. I didn't have specific flowers or anything that I wanted. I trusted her work and we were not disappointed one bit. Everything came out beyond perfect! My bouquet, the bridesmaids bouquets, the garland and tall centerpieces, every floral detail. It all came together better than we could have ever imagined. Thank you so much for all your hard working in making our day even more incredible.

She also put together a STUNNING floral display to hang over the dance floor during the reception which was magical! We are so grateful and highly recommend!
1000/10!

etails of my wedding, from arbor to centerpieces, to seating charts and mantles and it was breathtaking and had such a romantic vibe to it. OH! And my bouquet was absolutely gorgeous!! Perfect amount of whites and pops of color to bring it all together. I’ll admit flowers were definitely the hardest part for me as I kept changing my vision and she was very patient with me. This is a true example of trust the professional because I gave her a Pinterest board and from there she took it and ran with it! My room was absolutely Pinterest worthy all thanks to Christine and her wonderful eye. She was very responsive and so happy I chose her out of the recommendations my venue gave to me. She knew the venue, she understood my vision and outdid herself! You will not regret your decision with Christine and LIV!

a breeze from start to finish. I gave her some photos for inspiration and told her our color scheme and budget, and she created the most beautiful arrangements. We couldn't have been happier with how everything turned out. It was also extremely helpful that she works with our venue regularly and knows the ins and outs of decorating the space. I highly recommend for your wedding (or any other event)!

ce due to the pandemic. Even though there were only a few weeks of lead time, Christine never made me feel like anything was rushed, and she created the most beautiful arrangements and bouquet I could have imagined. She REALLY listened to what I shared with her about what I wanted for the day and I couldn't believe how tuned in she was and how perfectly she got everything! Absolutely everyone who has seen the photos has commented on the flowers-- they were truly stunning. Also, a few days before the wedding there was a big storm and power outage on LBI, and Christine brought all the flowers for my wedding to a friend's shop in another town so they wouldn't become wilted without refrigeration. She was truly the best and I would recommend her and Lily In The Valley to anyone in a heartbeat!

local flowers to create a luscious landscape of color that made you feel transported right to Kauai. It was nothing short of impressive. My bouquet was really the piece de resistance. She went above and beyond to make it stunningly beautiful. She was amazingly easy to work with and made (what can be a stressful process) seamless and fun. My mother-in-law even worked with her for flowers for the rehearsal dinner and had nothing but wonderful things to say as well. If you are getting married on Long Beach Island or the surrounding hire, definitely hire Christine as your florist. You will not be disappointed!

lly looked even better the next day and was so full and fragrant. The flowers were so fresh and crisp and looked stunning in person and in photos. I gave minimal direction (ie- I literally just said white and greenery haha) but Christine and I talked through what I was looking for and created sample mood boards. My advice to future brides would be - have a vision and general goal, but let someone as talented as Christine fill in the rest for a fun surprise. In the end, she did such an elegant job and really tastefully incorporated flowers into the day. As typically a non-flower enthusiast, I was so blown away by the elegance and variety in the tablescapes. The ferns wrapped around string lights were also an awesome last minute add on which I would suggest if you have an opportunity ;).
Christine, thanks again for all of your guidance and beautiful work. The wedding was truly perfect for us and we know that having amazing vendors only strengthened that.

account the rustic vision I had for our decor when suggesting and then designing three different types of center pieces. She was also really open to using florals from the ceremony as reception decor to save on budget and reduce waste. I loved the way everything turned out, with a mix of summer and fall colors, and appreciated how responsive Christine was throughout the entire process.

e piece exceeded my expectations. The flowers were beyond beautiful and she was so easy and fun to work with. Literally, I showed her my Pinterest board and she made it happen. I had multiple vendors decorating for my wedding and she worked with each of them seamlessly as if they were a team. Whenever I had a change or last minute add on, Christine was happy to do it and also offered great advice. My sister was battling cancer during my wedding and had received chemo recently and was unsure of how her hair would look for the wedding. She wanted a flower crown to help her feel beautiful-I told Christine and she gifted it to her without a second thought-WOW- how generous…so so sweet! I knew in this moment that I had picked the perfect florist for our day. For me, its not only about talent which she obviously has but also supporting a business that deserves it and Lily in the Valley Florist does for sure! Thanks again Christine!!!
