Is there a 10 star option?! Lily was the first choice we made for our wedding and hands down the BEST choice. From our engagement shoot to vendor recommendations - she made us feel comfortable and supported every step of the way. When I tell you she helped me find EVERY other vendor - she basically planned the whole wedding. Above all that - she is the best photographer in the game, capturing the classic portraits as well as unique shots and the in-between candid moments that we will treasure forever. She helped move the day along making sure we weren't focused on things going wrong and that we didn't miss a chance to eat, dance or spend a moment alone. We can't thank her enough for everything she did to make our wedding day perfect! I'm so happy my sister booked her for her wedding as well so we can see her again soon!

Can I give her 20 stars? Lily is amazing. Not only does she have the skill to capture those candids that blow your mind and of course the classic wedding photos, she's simply the best to work with. She'll answer questions and also take the lead to get everyone gathered for photos or (politely) tell your naggy aunt to step back. And she's down to earth, fun to work with, and helps ease any nerves you have. I could not be happier with Lily and her talent. Hire her if you can!

Lily is the absolute best photographer I could have asked for for my September 2020 microwedding. Her communication prior to the wedding was consistent and clear, and the pricing quote she provided was completely fair. On the day of, Lily was on time and had a great energy. She was efficient and did an awesome job of blending in with the crowd, while also wrangling my crazy family and friends to make sure that we used our time well and got all of the pictures we wanted. The morning after the wedding, she had already sent me 100+ edited pictures via iCloud which I was so impressed with. I also can not express enough how happy I am with the way all of the pictures came out. We did our post-ceremony pictures on the Seaside Heights Boardwalk, and let me just say, Seaside has never looked more chic. I will 100% be hitting Lily up for every other event in my life worthy of a photo shoot - thank you so much, Lily!!!

If you are considering hiring Lily as your wedding photographer, hesitate no more. She is absolutely the one you want as your photographer at your wedding. From the moment I first contacted her to navigating changes in our plans due to the pandemic, she has been incredibly responsive, and more importantly kind and understanding. She made all of it feel like it was going to be ok. She's got your back always. Sadly, we had to postpone our wedding to a date when Lily was booked out by another couple, and we were absolutely heartbroken to have to cancel on her. So even though Lily won't be able to take our wedding photos, I just wanted to highly recommend her for being an awesome human being, and I have no doubt that her photos of us would have been absolutely amazing.

We have so many great things to say about Lily Szabo, but here's the bottom line: hire her! Cannot endorse strongly enough! From our very first email, Lily was an incredible resource, a calm and thoughtful collaborator, and just a lovely, fun human. We were so lucky to work with her, and our photos turned out absolutely incredible. She was such a hero, start to finish! Lily is so talented in both the technical aspects of photography and editing, and in the way that she put us immediately at ease, confidently gave us photo direction (hello, we are not models), wrangled our big "colorful" families for portraits, and kept our day-of timeline moving forward. Thinking back on our wedding day, what stands out is how seamlessly it all went -- largely thanks to Lily's expertise. She is a true pro, and exactly who you want on your team. Lily surprised us by sharing a selection of our wedding photos on her blog... just a few days after the ceremony! Did I mention this was just a few days before Christmas? I literally gasped out loud when I saw our photos - they were of course stunningly beautiful, incredibly emotional, and truly captured the spirit of our day. Lily has an eye for the small moments, and there were so many gems in our final photo set. She completely blew us away. We'll treasure these photos for the rest of our lives, along with our memories of the best day ever, and our friendship with Lily too. If you have the opportunity to work with Lily, do yourself a huge favor and hire her! Lily Szabo is the real deal.

From our first interaction with Lily, we knew she was going to be the best photographer ever. It was lovely meeting her during the engagement shoot and she was so attentive to learning about us and our styles. The wedding day was even better. She was so organized yet calm. She kept us on track and made sure to get all of the portraits we requested in addition to some memorable candids! I cannot recommend Lily enough!

When planning our wedding the one thing I was absolutely dead set on was hiring Lily as our photographer. The day of the wedding was perfect. Lily made my camera shy husband feel comfortable during the solo portraits before our first look. The small details she captured were incredible. My cat hair clip in honor of my late cat Mia, the necklace I wore for my aunt who couldn’t be there, the tattoo of my dogs name on my ankle and so many more shots that had me tearing up when looking at our gallery. Lily seamlessly made our two giant Italian families cooperate during the family portraits (a feat within itself) and captured the most perfect candids during the reception. It’s been almost a year and we are still completely obsessed with our wedding photos and show everyone who will stand still for long enough. I cannot wait to book a family session with Lily after the birth of our first baby in May 2020!

Can't believe I haven't written a review already! Lily is by far the best vendor/photographer/PERSON ever! She did our engagement photos in Central Park and our wedding 11/23/2019 at Kolo Klub, and was absolutely amazing! She is easy to communicate with, as we had several changes throughout our wedding process. She was able to accommodate us always. On the day of the wedding, she was calm, chill, organized- which is exactly what you need. She was able to travel to both my husband and I at different locations, round up our families and organize everything with the different photo shoot locations, limo, freezing cold, etc. Her photos are beautiful and different. If you want your photos of your special day to really stand out, Lily is your gal!! Definitely recommend!

Booking Lily was the best choice we made for wedding photos. We booked her before we had a venue or date because we loved her style so much. On the day of the wedding she was very professional and super friendly. She used conversations we had with her during the photo shoot to make a great bio about us and our story. We were able to see a preview of the photos she took a few days later and they were beautiful. I would, and do, recommend her to anyone.

Booking Lily was THE best wedding decision we made! Lily was recommended to me from my sister whose daughter was a flower girl in a wedding that Lily shot a few years ago. I perused her website and her instagram and was so impressed by her style of photography. Once we connected, though, I knew VERY quickly that Lily was exactly the type of person that I wanted to be leading the charge/in my corner on such an important day! I cannot express enough how incredible Lily was leading up to our wedding- between the engagement shoot to answering my many questions via email incredibly fast-Lily was always there for us. When it came time for our wedding day, I knew we were in the absolute best hands between her and her second photographer, Joe. Lily was early to my parent's house that day and I felt immediately relieved to see her! She led the charge between setting up the most creative backdrops for photos to making sure we were sticking to the schedule, and offering helpful advice throughout the whole day. Lily and Joe were in constant communication which was so helpful because he was with the groom and groomsmen at a different location prior to our first look. It made me so relieved to know Joe was doing the same thing for the guys! Both Lily and Joe helped us and our families with countless things throughout the day-from putting on the boutonnieres to bustling my dress once we got to the reception! They went above and beyond to make our day absolutely perfect. Lily is just an all-around awesome person to be around, who also happens to take the most incredible photographs. We just got our full gallery back and it is unbelievable how much she was able to capture throughout our day. I couldn't believe some of the specific shots they got because I had no recollection of Lily or Joe being remotely nearby! They both somehow moved throughout our ceremony and reception without ever being intrusive or too blatantly obvious. That must be such a hard balance to achieve as a wedding photographer, but Lily dominated at it. To sum it up, looking for a wedding photographer who is incredibly talented and who is equally as awesome? You found her!

BOOK LILY. She is an incredibly creative/organized force who will take gorgeous photos of you and come up with excellent ideas for shots, all while keeping you on schedule and making sure you are where you need to be on your big day. (Side note: her use of grays and greens are stunning.) TLDR: Lily was the best investment we made in our wedding.

Where do I start? Lily was more than just an amazing photographer, she is the person that actually MAKES your wedding preparation worth your while. We had actually already done a shoot with another photographer before, so we were able to compare the experience and I can say that Lily’s photos and the whole shooting experience was sooooo much superior. After the photo shoot with Lily, we came away feeling even closer, relaxed and happier as a couple (albeit in a stressful time!). 7 Reasons Why You Should Book Lily: 1. Lily suggested the perfect times and places to take the best photos considering lighting and other factors. 2. ^That was sunrise (=6am) for our shoot, and she came prepared and ready to go before 6am. Regarding punctuality, she even delivered the photos earlier than she had originally said which we realllly appreciated given the time crunch! 3. Lily knew where the best places to take photos are, and was quick to see the opportunities in new spots (we did ours in Central Park). I lived in NYC for seven years, never been to many of the places she took us in CPark - it was like I got a tour lol 4. Lily made it so EASY for us (=awkward and unexperienced-at-romantic-photos couple) to look more relaxed and in love, by engaging us in fun conversations while taking the photos. 5. Lily gave great direction in terms of where to place the hands, arms, legs, and head when out of balance. 6. She (at least seemed like she) enjoyed the sessions together, climbing rocks and almost getting splattered on by running dogs. She made the whole experience so cherishable. 7. Most importantly, I am EXTREMELY happy with the photos. They are stunning, natural (don’t look forced thanks to her direction skills), and brings back fun memories of the shoot. I 1000% recommend Lily wholeheartedly!

I’m not usually one to write online reviews... but you *need* Lily Szabo at your wedding. We hired Lily for ours – a small family ceremony we’d quickly thrown together to ensure my elderly grandmother would be able to see us married. Having Lily there was hands-down the best planning decision we made. I knew we’d made the right decision right from the start. I realized, after I’d gotten dressed, that I had forgotten to tell my husband that I wanted to do a first look – he didn’t even know what a “first look” was. Lily told me not to worry. She ran downstairs, figured out which one he was (they’d never met!), explained everything to him, and positioned him in a beautiful spot. And the first look was perfect! Lily’s photography is so, so, so beautiful. I recommend checking out her stunning instagram to see what she can do. She made the somewhat-nice-local-park next to our venue look like a total fairytale. We were worried posing for pictures would be awkward – and my husband balked when I told him we’d spend an hour doing it before the ceremony – but the time flew by because we were having so much fun. Lily made it feel so natural. After the photos, I was getting ready for the ceremony when I looked down and realized all our walking around on the damp ground had left mud on the hem of my wedding dress. I was ready to walk down the aisle hoping that no one would notice, but Lily immediately took me into the bathroom, grabbed towels, and began skillfully cleaning my dress. In that moment, she was so much more than just a wedding photographer – and that was so representative of how she approached the day. She knew exactly how to make it perfect. (And yes, she managed to get all the mud out!) Lily knew the names of all of my family members, and had asked me about everyone’s relation to us beforehand so that she could make sure we got every group photo we needed. She took our posed photographs, but also captured beautiful, fun candid moments, like a little cousin’s expression as he reached to clink glasses during a toast, and people hugging each other to keep warm outside in the cold. She impressed everyone. When my guests reminisce about my wedding, they always add, “and your photographer was incredible!” Anyway, to be honest, I almost didn’t want to post this review. I’m planning a larger wedding celebration for next year, and I desperately want Lily to be available to photograph it, so I didn’t (yet) want to tell the world about how wonderful she is. But she deserves all this praise, and more! Thank you, Lily!

Where can I even start with Lily? She is an absolute pro (which is obvious from her photographs) but above that she is such an amazing energy to work with. We had a larger bridal party (15 total) plus family and Lily maneuvered everyone seamlessly while getting all of the traditional photos plus very touching candid moments. Everyone from parents to friends are raving about our photos already and we’ve only shared our preview. In addition to that, Lily tells a story with her pictures which brings out everyone’s natural side in front of the camera - everyone was at ease. We had so much fun working with her. She’s such a calming presence on a day that has potential to get very overwhelming. In my mom’s words, if there was a “moment” she caught it!

Working with Lily was one of my favorite experiences in wedding planning. Her style truly tells more of a story than traditional wedding images, but she still captures the photos you want to send to your parents for the holidays. It was her style of photography that had me hooked and once we connected we immediately realized this would be an incredible partnership because her personality is both professional and addictive! She was honest and open with what it is I was looking for - from budget to shot list - as well as finding a way to make all the timing day-of work. Also hiring the Sprinkle Booth was the best decision - we have hundreds of fun photos of our guests to enjoy for years to come. I have already been recommending Lily to everyone and I'll continue to do so! I never thought I would be this obsessed with my wedding photos. There is truly no other photographer like her in this area.

We found Lily’s photography and instantly loved her style, her photos were beautiful, and once we actually met her - loved her too! She was amazing from start to finish, she’s organized, honest, fun, and puts out some insanely beautiful work. She made Ant and I feel calm, and makes pictures so much more fun and less awkward -we both loved her approach. If you’re considering her - just do it, our day was perfect and she was a big part of that!

I honestly cannot say enough about Lily. Not only are her pictures amazing, but so is she! Obviously a huge selling point with Lily is the quality of her photos and her style of photography, which we have received SO many compliments on with our photos. But she also was great to have by our side through the whole wedding process, especially the day of. On the wedding day, she guided us through the process and helped us get the perfect pictures. One thing that I am so grateful for is when my grandma (who has been having a lot of health issues lately) was out on the dance floor in her wheelchair, Lily came and found me so I could take pictures dancing with her. I will forever cherish those photos with her, and I am so thankful to Lily for capturing that moment. If you are trying to decide whether or not to chose Lily for your wedding, just do it - you won't regret it! I would 100% recommend her.

Sure, you could find someone to photograph your wedding for next to nothing, but c'mon, you want it done right, in the least obtrusive way, with someone who understands your ideas, your personality and your vision for your big day. This is Lily to a "T." I'm no professional model, so I don't have routine experience with having my picture taken. I tend to clam up or give the most awkward, forced smiles in the world. Despite my personal shortcomings, Lily blew us out of the water with her work. Do yourself a favor and look at her site - as soon as I did, I knew that this was EXACTLY the style I wanted. She does beautiful work and is worth every single penny we spent. For us, there was no one else I could've imagined capturing these moments. She's simply the best!

I can't recommend Lily highly enough, both for her photographic talents and her fantastic personality. From the moment we met her for our engagement session, she made us feel totally comfortable and relaxed. On the day of the wedding, she was very organized and efficient and kept us calm. Lily basically made my wedding. From the moment she arrived she took charge of my mind of hectic schedule and calmed me down with my fearing of running late. A surprise monsoon had the potential of ruining our plans of taking pictures at Deep Cut Gardens in Middletown, but Lily's calm and logical approach to the entire day calmed us down and assured us we would find a way. And what a happy accident it was. Lily found a greenhouse on the property that ended up being the most unbelievable place to take our first look and wedding party photos. Honestly, the moment Lily showed up in our hotel room as we were getting ready I immediately felt calm because I knew we were all in good, experienced hands and she just wanted us to have the most amazing day of our lives. During our couple photos, Lily made us feel so calm and in the moment that by the time we walked down the aisle, neither of us felt as nervous as we thought we would. I can't recommend Lily enough, she's a super fun and super talented photographer that will make you feel at ease during what could be a very chaotic day. She easily reminds you why you're there, and being put in the moment like that meant the world to us. We weren't thinking about the 160 people waiting to watch us for hours. Lily let us breathe and remember that we were there for each other. And we will be forever grateful for that.

I can't even begin to put into words how amazing Lily is. She went above and beyond anything I could have ever expected from a photographer. And from speaking to friends who got married, generally they spent a lot of money on a photographer and many were very disappointed. NOT US!! She showed up early and stayed late. She help almost as a wedding coordinator while everyone was getting ready, and I was starting to get a little stressed with the small details of the day. Some of my family members have strong personalities, and she just fit in and helped keep everyone organized and on time. Sometimes I would just stop what I was doing to think about how awesome she was. And that was all before we even started taking official pictures! I tend to feel very uncomfortable being photographed (unless it is late night fun with friends!). Lily helped my husband and I feel so comfortable the whole time. We talked the entire time and she just kept snapping. She took awesome picture of us and the group and nothing felt forced. Even though we were talking pictures in 85 degrees weather on the beach, we were all having fun. And for the ceremony, she captured such special moments, and I am so grateful for that! When looking back on the pictures, I have no idea how she could move around the whole ceremony so fast to get different shots, but she did and they were beautiful. She even chased us down LBI Blvd to take pictures of my husband and I ride our bikes. She has an amazing eye for great shots, and I will treasure our experience with her forever. My husband and I also contacted her to do a family shoot with our dogs a few months later, and they were absolutely breathtaking. She is wonderful artist, has a beautiful spirit, and I highly recommend her.
