What’s girl to do?
Not a problem. I had been carrying Lily-Lark’s parasols for a few years here in NYC as protection from the sun in a beautiful way. I own 3 ……..and one print is more beautiful than the other. Marvelously light because of the bamboo construction and easy to tote if you're traveling. And so I took one with me.
Needless to say everyone remarked how stunning the parasol looked and marveled at the fact that it offered sun-safe protection..
Thank you Lily-Lark
My husband and I were so lucky to have an ideal, cloudless September day for our outdoor wedding. But that meant lots of sun! Luckily, we had 2 parasols which we had gifted our gra...
ndmothers, who were part of our ceremony. The parasols added such a beautiful visual element to the procession, and our grandmothers liked them so much, they walked around with them the entire afternoon! It meant so much to us to see them so happy and comfortable, and they were thrilled to have something physical to remember the special day. Thank you Lily for such a practical and stunning addition to our wedding! I only wish I would have thought to purchase more for my bridesmaids - they were so jealous!!

weddings. Every time I use my parasol, I receive compliments on how beautiful it is and upon further inspection, how amazing the craftsmanship is. Everyone is quick to recognize it is a quality piece as much as it is a beautiful accessory. I don't know what I would do without it!

out pretty unique because of these parasols. The parasols served not only as accessory to protect from sun but also they were perfect addition to our wedding style. I would recommend using Lily-Lark Parasols if you are doing an outdoor wedding in summer.

from the sun really matters to me; it is nice to have an alternative or supplement to hats and sunscreen. I think these parasols are going be a wonderful addition to our wedding- the image of a bridal party walking someplace beautiful carrying these parasols, wow! And what a wonderful and memorable gift to share from a special day. While the parasol is very sturdy it is also quite lightweight and portable. It comes in a lovely matching bag you can sling over your shoulder and it is compact enough to fit in a smaller suit-case. Take a look at the designs, I still do, each one is so lovely, it is hard to pick one. True confession- I sometimes open my parasol up just to look at it!
Finding the right gift for my bridal party was a tougher decision than some of the other choices I had to make in planning the wedding. I wanted the gift to be a real thank you to ...
special friends for being part of my big day, and it had to be something they’d all like, even though they all have really different taste and styles. Someone told me about something they’d seen at an event in Governor’s Island — Lily-Lark parasols. And that solved 2 problems. They’re really gorgeous and have a lot of different patterns and colors. And really what could be more perfect for an outdoor summer wedding than a parasol? Especially if the day’s a scorcher, like mine turned out to be!

ng sunscreen all over. It’s lightweight and travels well in the matching cloth shoulder bag it comes with. The best gift for bridesmaids and a lovely accent accessory for any bride and her nuptuals.
