Lilypad Wedding & Events

I hate giving bad reviews, and Bethany and her brother Brent are very nice people, but they are not easy to work with. There were a lot of things that could have been done earlier that were left until the week before the wedding stressing me out, and thank God I took an extra day off to try and deal with a lot of it. Maybe my expectations were too high, but I wanted someone that I could rely on to handle it all, especially since I wasn't there to do it all in person. They did have their good moments though. Brent's designs are actually pretty amazing, and the overall theme turned out beautifully. Everything looked amazing on the day, it just took a lot of pushing to get that information to book those vendors or make those decisions. I, also, in the beginning was not without fault, but the last 6 months were especially rough. I also learned the day after my wedding that they had not printed all of the escort cards so some of my guests thought they were not invited to the reception. How embarrassing! I think they have a good idea going and they genuinely mean well, but they either need more help, or they need a better plan to get it all done. I wanted it to work out so badly and I really want them to succeed, they just need to button up a lot more.
