ape and Southern California energy. Brand new, and it’s easily the best hotel in Mammoth right now if you’re looking for a cozy, elevated stay that makes everything effortless.
The lobby feels like a beautiful California “living room,” with an indoor-outdoor bar, kid’s game room, restaurant with live singing all connected together.
Guestrooms are stylish with lots of storage spaces, and balcony has amazing view stretching all the way to the lakes, I could sip coffee, take photos here all day long.
The free breakfast buffet is probably the best I’ve had at a U.S. hotel in a while. Thoughtful touches are everywhere too, hydration stations with sparkling water on every level, a humidifier in the room, and espresso available all day.
The hotel has soft water, though the shampoo and hair dryer aren’t quite as luxurious as the Smeg fridge, but since most people drive here, guess it’s easy enough to bring your own.
Friendly staff, delicious food and drinks, ski valet, a sun-soaked pool, two jacuzzis, high profile location, feel like it could be a really good party pool, and just great energy overall… I’d say this is my one and only choice of hotel if I come back next season.

ire pits. They had live music the last night we were there & we used the complimentary theragun (Therabody) which was nice after a long day of hiking and kayaking. We also noticed that they were very child friendly, with activities outside and video games inside to use. We plan to return with our kids & family for a ski trip!

There was a minor issue with our room when checking in and Bobby at the front desk had everything corrected in no time.

hing about it. Frankly, that’s not my problem. If you allow third parties to interface with your reservation system, it is your responsibility to validate their room descriptions. Then front desk says - even if you booked directly with us, we don’t guarantee views. That’s completely unacceptable! I asked them to waive a mandatory valet fee - they refused and said if they waived fees for everyone who complained about the view, they would not make enough money. We won’t be back - lots of other hotels near by.
Edit: Response from owner was meaningless. I contacted him a week ago as requested in his response, and have not heard anything back. Additional proof that a satisfied customer is not one of their priorities.
