Our passion for photographing weddings comes from the deep respect that marriage is a sacred covenant between a man and his wife as ordained by God. We feel blessed to not only share in the special moment when a couple enters into this covenant, but also to share our God-given talent of photography. As a husband and wife team, we have discovered that capturing the love shared by others further influences our own love affair. Rebecca graduated from the University of Florida (go Gators!) with a B.S. in Advertising and then earned her M.F.A. in Graphic Design from the Academy of Art University in San Francisco. After gaining experience as a Wedding Catering Sales Manager and a Wedding Album Designer, Rebecca branched out on her own and started Limelight Photography on Valentine’s Day of 2006. Michael made a name for himself while training elite professional athletes all around the world. However, the demand for Limelight Photography continued to grow. One year after Limelight was created, Michael took a huge leap of faith and joined the Limelight team. We are inspired by disciplined, creative people that persevere and push themselves past known limits; people that battle their way through major challenges and overcome obstacles to achieve greatness. Some of our favorite stories of survival, resilience, and redemption include Vogue editor Anna Wintour, fashion designers Coco Chanel and Valentino, long-distance runner Steve Prefontaine, the 1988 Jamaican Olympic bobsled team, boxer James Braddock and World War II hero Louis Zamperini.

Limelight Photography was HANDS DOWN our favorite vendor from our wedding day, especially our main photographer, Dafne!
From the moment we met her, Dafne was incredibly sweet, personable, and made both Matt and I feel completely comfortable in front of the camera. She has such a calming presence and made the entire photography experience feel natural, fun, and effortless. Her talent is undeniable, and it was obvious throughout the day that she truly knows what she’s doing.
Dafne was patient, organized, and managed our timeline flawlessly. She gave clear direction when needed, kept everything running smoothly, and somehow made every photo session feel easy and stress-free. One of the things we loved most about Dafne was how genuinely invested she was in our wedding day. You could tell she wasn’t just doing a job—she truly cared. At one point, she even teared up while looking through some of the photos she had taken, which was such a sweet reminder of how much heart she puts into her work and her couples.
Her second photographer, Josiah, was also absolutely amazing and such a wonderful addition to the team. He worked with the men initially and took such great shots of my husband, his groomsmen, and the fathers. My husband kept saying how much he vibed with him and how naturally he fit in with the group. He helped make the entire experience fun, comfortable, and stress-free.
We received so many compliments on the wedding day about how amazing our photographers were, and since then, we’ve gotten endless compliments on our beautiful photos.
Not only are Dafne and Josiah incredibly talented, but they genuinely care about their couples and their experience. We felt so well taken care of throughout the entire day. We truly couldn’t have asked for better photographers. Dafne and Josiah played such a huge role in making our day feel special, and we will cherish these memories and photos for the rest of our lives.

in the moment the entire day. She is seriously the best! Our associate photographer, PJ, was just as amazing and he captured so many moments we didn't realize were happening. Our lead videographer, Earl Speid, was incredible! He made everything feel so natural and our associate videographer, Terry, was just as awesome and such a great energy to have around. Our ceremony and reception were at the Don CeSar, and they captured everything so perfectly! One moment that really stands out was our first dance. It felt like everything else disappeared for a second and it was just us and knowing they were capturing it all makes it even more special. They caught so many moments throughout the day that we'll get to relive forever. We are beyond grateful we had this team. We truly could not have asked for better people to be there with us!

Rebecca and her team were so thorough from the very first day, making sure every detail was on their radar.
The staff was not only professional but incredibly kind and welcoming to our family and guests. They were so flexible across all our events, and it was clear they knew exactly what they were doing.

planning process was disorganized, which caused significant unease and frustration compared to our other vendors. On the wedding day, some requested shots did not align with our expectations, and most importantly, our vows were not captured. For these reasons, I would not recommend their videography services.

Our Lead photographer Daphne Spencer was familiar with the location and planed beautiful photos along with some inspirational photos we had seen previously. Daphne and her team; Associate Photographer: Aysia Pagan and Lead Videographer: Earl Speid, were absolutely amazing and went above and beyond, capturing amazing photos and a beautiful video. Daphne, Aysia and Earl captured our love for one another by freezing genuine moments, our shared laughter and quiet embraces for each other. I seem to cry happy tears every time I watch our video.
My husband Jim and I have received so many complements from friends and family on our pictures and video we are overjoyed that we can relive our wedding every day and hear every promise that was captured to one another. We were pleased the package we purchased included all the photos that were taken because all of them came out so beautiful. It would have been hard to choose a certain number of photos. Because of Daphne and her team our wedding experience was truly a remarkable day. Daphne and her team were very organized throughout the whole process and helped ensure all desired photos were taken. Prior to the wedding, we created a list of all the photos we wanted with family members and friends. The list was key for everything flowing so smoothly. After the wedding ceremony, Daphne’s team was able to quickly organize all the people for the photos. It worked out great. During the reception, the photographers also took many beautiful photos. Rebecca was so flexible with allowing us to go on a payment plan that worked best for our pay schedule! Our lead photographer was Dafne Spencer and I cannot say enough INCREDIBLE things about her. She thought of every detail and planned the whole day perfectly for the entire team. I mentioned to Dafne that our wedding would be very intimate, so it was important to me to get a photo with everyone. She went above and beyond to create a shot list that included everyone!
I also let Dafne know that the day would be laid back, so I didn't have a detailed itenerary for the day. Dafne took charge as soon as she arrived and kept us on a schedule that ensured a smooth flow but also let my new husband and I enjoy the day as much as possible.
Even with a last-minute venue change, Dafne was on top of it!
If you are looking for friendly, professional photographers who will add structure to your day, I cannot recommend Dafne and Limelight enough. If I could give her 10 stars, I would!!

We were fortunate to work with Natalia and Josia, who were absolutely amazing. Their composed, genuine, and talented approach made them a pleasure to collaborate with, and we would gladly work with them again. Rebecca, the owner, also deserves a special mention for her responsiveness and willingness to negotiate with our budget, which we greatly appreciated.
While our experience was overwhelmingly positive, there were a few minor points we wanted to share for future couples. We were a little disappointed not to receive any sneak peek photos in advance, as we're used to getting them sooner. Our families and friends were eager to see some moments from our big day right away, and waiting three weeks was a bit tough. If sneak peeks are important to you, we recommend discussing them when finalizing your agreement.
Additionally, a few key moments were missed in the photos, such as the groom's reaction when the bride walked down the aisle and a large group shot with both families. This is easily avoidable if you come prepared with a detailed photo shot list, which we highly recommend for any couple to ensure all those irreplaceable memories are captured. Lastly, about 50-75 of the best photos in our gallery have the company's watermark, requiring some extra cropping on our end- which didn’t make a lot of sense, since we paid for the complete gallery.
Despite these minor considerations, our overall experience with Limelight was incredibly positive. The stunning quality of the photographs and the exceptional professionalism of Natalia, Josia, and Rebecca ensured that our wedding day memories are beautifully preserved. We are so grateful to have such a comprehensive and joyful collection of images that will allow us to relive those precious moments for years to come. Ultimately, Limelight delivered a truly memorable and invaluable service, leaving us with a beautiful visual legacy of our special day.

Regarding the missed shots: thank you for acknowledging that creating a detailed photo list in advance is helpful. In your case, Natalia built the shot list based on your completed wedding photo planning sheet and worked directly with you to modify and finalize it prior to the big day. As part of our process, we also held three strategic planning sessions to ensure we understood your timeline, priorities, and unique dynamics. All of the images on the finalized list were captured. If there was something specific you were envisioning that didn’t make it into the gallery, it may not have been communicated to us — but we truly welcome that feedback. While our team works hard to anticipate meaningful moments, your note is a helpful reminder of the importance of clear communication around any unspoken expectations.
Lastly, we apologize for any confusion regarding the watermarked images. The “watermarked” part of the gallery you referenced is simply a curated collection of favorites from our team — our Artist’s Choice, which are also the images featured in your blog post. These are included in your full gallery (unwatermarked), and we display them separately so our couples can easily view the highlights we’re showcasing in their story. That separate gallery has now been removed to avoid any further confusion.

Our photos came out absolutely amazing, and the turnaround time was fantastic! We got our photos back just a little bit over 2 weeks after our wedding. We will forever cherish this day thanks to these amazing photos to look back on.

ally THE BEST photographers we could've asked for. I had guests, family members, and friends coming up to me after the wedding telling us how awesome the two of them were. They were so professional and knew exactly how to pose everybody to get the best shots. Our bride and groom portraits turned out beautiful, and our ceremony pictures were amazing. The one I posted down below literally looks like it came directly from a wedding magazine. They made my husband and I feel so comfortable, it was almost as if all of us had been friends for years. Along with Dafne and PJ, they also had an assistant for the day, Aysia, who was super sweet and even helped sew one of my bridesmaid's dresses when it broke. I highly recommend Dafne and her team for all your photography needs. We were able to get all of our pictures back within 3 weeks which was amazing since I'm so impatient. They truly made us feel like celebrities and were definitely one of the highlights of our big day!

t we interacted with was impeccable. They helped us create a timeline that we ended up using for the entire day, and based our timeline with our coordinator on the photography timeline because it was so comprehensive.
Dafne was our lead photographer and she was amazing. The attention to detail, the ability to capture every special moment, and the creativity that went into every shot was beyond our expectations. She made sure to get photos of all the different groups during reception and no one felt left out. Multiple guests even commented how great and kind our photographers were. Dafne and her second photographer were so professional, yet so personable, making us feel comfortable and relaxed throughout the whole process. They gave us great direction throughout the whole day!
ALSO the price was unbeatable. Highly, highly recommend!

hen trying to fit a wedding in between two hurricanes. Our lead photographer, Steven McCarthy, brought a bubbly and fun feeling with him and our associate photographer, Natalia Fontes, gave off a very happy and vibrant energy. I couldn't imagine having a better pair to capture our day. They made sure to get all of our requested shots plus a few we didn't even know we needed to have! Their creativity with a clear umbrella and tricks of light turned the rain that began to fall during our evening into a magical moment. Our indoor/outdoor event threw some curves balls into our plans, but Steven and Natalia were true professional in their adaptability and inspirations for capturing all the special moments of our wedding. We would highly recommend their services!

such a positive connection and we knew that this was the vendor for us. Rebecca is so experienced, personable and warm, she provided us with the best welcome to their Limelight family.
Our first meeting with our lead photographer Dafne was for our engagement session, and much like our first meeting with Rebecca, it was like something clicked and we knew we were in for the most fun and enjoyable photo session. She made us laugh, posed us perfectly, and made us feel so relaxed during our photos.
When it came time for our wedding, Dafne and associate photographer Cheyenne displayed the upmost professionalism during our day. Everyone had fun, they kept us on schedule so well, we felt no stress throughout our day. Our photos are absolutely stunning. Not only did we have beautiful photos, but our surprise videographer created the most amazing wedding video that I cannot stop watching.
Looking at our photos over and over again, Limelight created the physical images of our love story that we get to enjoy for the rest of our lives. If we were to go through this process again, I would not hesitate to choose them!! Lots of love to you guys from Matt and Meryl Wright!
