nted great food and drinks, a great band, and great hotel amenities for those guests. We stumbled across the Lincolnshire Marriott Resort online, and it filled all of our requirements! We traveled the hour and 10 minutes from downtown Chicago to tour, and when we did, Patti was so accommodating, kind, and welcoming. She explained how many weddings they had done at our venue, and how we were in great hands with any requests we had. We learned that the staff, including the head chef, had been there for decades. We had our rehearsal dinner at the Lincolnshire Marriott, and received so many compliments on the delicious Mexican food buffet we had. We decided on having our reception at the Lakeside Pavilion, and our wedding day was PERFECT. Olivia, our event manager, was there every step of the planning process to help with tastings, kindly provide direction and guidance when we needed some help with decisions, and was very quick to respond to emails. We specifically requested that our dinner went fast; we've been to weddings where dinner can last 1.5+ hours, and we wanted to get the party started rather than sit and eat for a while. Our amazing servers and banquet manager had salads plated during cocktail hour and dinner was served to guests simultaneously!! The food was INCREDIBLE - we have received so so many compliments from our guests about both the chicken and salmon, as well as our cocktail hour hors d'oeuvres. The event was so seamless and perfect, and I truly would do it 100x over again. I will recommend the Lincolnshire Marriott Resort to anyone who will listen.

mpressed all of our guests. We had about 135 people in the pavilion and it was super roomy and beautiful. We got the dessert selection through the venue and they were delicious! We worked very closely with Olivia from Marriott to plan the event and she was AMAZING! She responded to all of our emails super quickly and was soo helpful overall. She was also great with communicating with our wedding planner and parents. We really appreciated all of her help!

ience with a beautiful lake and flower arch photo opp that our guests enjoyed taking pics in front of. There was plenty of air conditioning inside for the main event in the peak of summer which was a non-negotiable for my mother. I also loved that guests could go to their room and crash when the night was over. The rates felt very reasonable for both out of town and local guests. The large windows in the Lakeside Pavillion were awesome. We had piping and drape to partially block the pool. Guests were able to wander to Three Embers after the the wedding for a night cap. We were also able to do a sparkler send off on the patio at the end of the night. Christine, our event manager had a nice surprise for us in our room. Our suite was perfect and Christine accomodated our request to be in the suite nearest the pavillion so we could see our wedding happening from our room when I did a quick dress change or needed a bathroom. We also fell in love with Marie, our Sales Rep who gave us a couple of extra things we asked for like expanding the number of rooms in our block and 2 nights for the suite instead of 1 so the groom had a place to sleep the night before and a room to get ready in. Christine even let us practice our dance on the floor a couple of weeks before hand during our walk through as no one was in the venue at the time. The property was also a great backdrop for our couples photos. I loved the bridge near the box car. Food was excellent. We had beef tenderloin (per my mother's request - ha!) salmon, a veggie pasta and a very seafood-forward cocktail hour with the sushi cones, crab cake, coconut shrimp and bruschetta. We also had his & her drinks, which I probably could have eliminated. The one thing I wish I would have splurged on was uplighting because we had sunglasses as a party favor and I think it would have made the room pop a little more. My one complaint if there even is one was that I wish we could have hung more decorations from the ceiling, but being able to have string lights was the best so I'm thrilled I was able to do that. We can't wait to come back for our complimentary 1-year Anniversary stay and indulge in our delicious cake top again.

broke our contract (due to issues with the venue and their own contract with their exclusive catering company - nothing to do with us). I was in a sheer panic, because at that point we had already picked a wedding date AND booked all of our other vendors! It could have been an absolute nightmare. But then we reached out to the folks at the Marriott Lincolnshire to get more information about potentially having our reception there. We were blown away by the empathy and helpfulness of their staff, the beauty of their property, and the way they managed their wedding packages. Honestly - my husband and I have said that we think the best thing that happened in our planning process was that our original venue broke our contract, because ultimately it led us here to the Marriott Lincolnshire. We worked with both Marie and Christine. They were both WONDERFUL to work with. They were incredibly professional, had quick and clear communication, and were very organized and proactive in helping to remind me about any upcoming decisions that needed to be made. On top of that, they were so kind and so patient with all of my questions (and all of the questions that my parents had). The food tasting was a hoot - probably one of my favorite parts of the planning process. The day of the wedding was a fairy tale - truly a perfect day. Our reception was in the lakeside pavilion, which is stunning. The food was second to none - we got a ton of compliments, and in particular one friend said she was having dreams about the side of mushroom risotto. Lol. The staff on the day of were professional and executed everything perfectly - I didn't have to worry about a thing. We loved that they partner with Lovin Oven Cakery - that would have been our first choice for cake anyways, so that made it super easy. And finally - I cannot even stress how amazing it was to have our hotel room block at the same place as the reception. More than half our our guests were from out of state, and even a lot of local friends and family chose to stay at the hotel. Our rooms were all located close to the Lakeside Pavilion which made it easy for people to pop back into their room if they forgot something or wanted to change into more comfortable shoes for dancing. (It was also nice not to have to worry about transportation between venue and hotel block, too.) We are so grateful to the team at Marriott and would highly recommend them to any other couple.

stunning outdoor ceremony amidst the picturesque surroundings. The cocktail hour was a delightful experience with a range of exquisite appetizers that left our guests raving. The dinner surpassed all expectations, with every dish being exceptional in taste and presentation. The cake, a true masterpiece crafted by Lovin Oven, was not only a visual delight but also a delicious treat that had everyone asking for seconds! What truly left us in awe was the transformation of the Grove Pavilion. What was once a nondescript tent became a breathtaking wedding venue thanks to the incredible work of the florist, Kasia. The flowers, up lighting, and candles en masse created an enchanting atmosphere that will be etched in our memories forever. The service was nothing short of impeccable. The staff, without exception, were friendly, attentive, and highly professional. They went above and beyond to ensure every guest felt welcome and cared for. Initially, we were unsure about choosing this venue due to its long-standing presence in the community. However, we were pleasantly surprised by the conveniences it offered, as well as the lovely rooms. The experienced team at Marriott Lincolnshire knows how to make every moment special.

We got married in the most beautiful floor to ceiling room, our guests raved about the food, and the grounds were beautifully scenic for wedding party photos. We HIGHLY recommend this wedding venue.
