Lincolnshire Marriott Resort

The Lincolnshire resort was the perfect place to host our multi-day Indian wedding. We were so happy with the care and attention we received. We worked with Christine Abbs who was amazing at keeping our details organized and delivered the wedding of our dreams. The venue is very flexible and familiar with Indian weddings which allowed us to honor our traditions, keep our guests comfortable, and provide an awesome experience for us and our families. The rooms are comfortable, the food is REALLY good, and they take very good care of you as the couple. We felt really lucky to find this venue for our special day.

Book this venue! We heard from nearly every single one of our guests that our food was the best wedding food they’ve ever had. The beef tenderloin was cooked to perfection, as was literally everything else. Our guests RAVED about the bacon wrapped briskets, the artichoke beignets, the potato soup…literally everything. We upgraded our bar to add margarita ingredients as our signature drink and we ALSO heard everyone raving about them. They had to pause making them for a few minutes while they restocked the bar because EVERYONE was drinking them. Truly such an incredible culinary experience — from the tasting to day-of food. We also heard from all of our guests how amazing the whole resort was. We filled around 50 rooms with guests from out of town and they were super appreciative of all the amenities, from the convenient restaurants in the resort to the pool and Starbucks! The photo locations on the grounds are awesome. I’m not sure what we would’ve done if it rained, but the greenery made for beautiful pictures. Christine Abbs is a phenomenal resource and event manager, and I was so grateful to have her throughout our planning process. If I had to provide one piece of advice with this venue it would be to potentially get ready in your hotel rooms or elsewhere, if you can. We were so grateful for the spacious rooms they provided for both the bride and groom to get ready in, but not having direct access to a bathroom was challenging when I needed my last minute bio break before walking down the aisle or when everyone was touching up their makeup and needed mirrors. But truly, that wasn’t even that much of an issue. 5 stars! Would pick the Lincolnshire Marriott 10 times over.

The Lincolnshire Marriott really came through for us in planning our daughter's wedding on short notice after our original venue fell through. From beginning to end, the folks we dealt with were top notch, especially Marie Kopczyk, who was there for us from beginning to end, making sure that our expectations were not only met, but greatly exceeded. I would highly recommend the Lincolnshire Marriott, not only for its beautiful grounds, but also, especially its great staff! If I could give a higher rating than 5 stars I would certainly do so.

We are so happy we had our wedding at the Lincolnshire Marriott! We have our ceremony in the rose garden and cocktail and reception in the Lakeside Pavilion. The Venue is stunning and has so many amenities for your guests (golf course, pool, restaurants, bar and Starbucks all on sight). Christine was so nice to work with, she received countless emails from me as we finalized all the details, and always responded in a timely manner. Phillipe was our point of contact during the reception and him and his staff were wonderful. He was checking in on us, our wedding party, our parents and all of our guests to insure that everyone was enjoying themselves. The food and drinks were just as delicious at our wedding day, as they were at our tasting. We were also surprised with a bottle of champagne and chocolate covered strawberries in our room after the reception. I would recommend asking if the conference rooms can be reserved to get ready in, they are a lot bigger than the bridal suite so you have more space to spread out!

The venue worked very well for our wedding and the staff were accommodating. Having facilities on sight such as bars, restaurants, Starbucks, golf, pool, etc. was also very accommodating for guests for an Indian wedding weekend. They did state that they had a shuttle service, however, it was not running on our weekend which wasn’t great for guests who didn’t have a car.

Christine was a pleasure to work with! I know I sent her many many emails and she was always quick to respond. The day of the wedding, everything was wonderful and easily fell into place. The venue was stunning.

We worked with Christine for our wedding at the Marriott! We were truly blown away by our experience working with Christine, and we are so grateful! She was an amazing communicator, patient, and took the time to plan and coordinate our special evening! It was the wedding of our dreams!

We had an AMAZING experience having our ceremony, cocktail hour, & reception at the Marriott Lincolnshire. It was more than we ever could have imagined. Christine was so helpful with planning our event and ensuring everything was in order. The staff was quick & efficient with serving dinner & hors d’oeuvres. We could not have asked for a better location to hold our event!

The Lincolnshire Marriott was exactly the venue that my husband and I were looking for. We wanted the whole event in one place, ceremony and reception and they did a wonderful job accommodating this for us! They have a great package that includes a cake, day of coordinator and much more. We worked directly with our day-of coordinator to set up everything and the venue takes care of everything! The wedding day as a whole was so smooth due to so much being taken care of by the Lincolnshire Marriott team! We made the best choice by picking here for our wedding!

We got married on 8/26/2022 at the Lakeside Pavilion. We are SO happy with our decision to get married at the Lincolnshire Marriot. We had an outdoor ceremony and cocktail hour with the reception inside. Everything was perfect and our guest LOVED it! From the beginning working with Christine was a breeze. She was so helpful, provided great recommendations and was extremely patient and answered my hundreds of questions with ease. There were several items (alcohol selections, appetizers, etc.) that we wanted to change outside of the package offerings and the Marriot was incredibly flexible and let us make all the changes we requested! On the day of the wedding, Christine made sure everything went on seamlessly. Everything was exactly the way we discussed. The food was amazing as well and we received SO many compliments on how great it was. The grounds and venue are so beautiful, and it was the perfect place to have all our family stay for the weekend. There was so much to do for everyone at the resort. Overall, the Marriott exceeded our expectations, and we would 10000% recommend!

Everything was beautiful and the venue was perfect and everyone was very professional and kind. My only complaint was the chairs that were used when we needed to take the ceremony inside due to rain, they were hideous! I would have much preferred the pretty white chairs that they were going to provide for the rose garden outside. Details matter.

The Marriott was fantastic from start to finish. Our wedding was seamless last night, and Christine and her crew were the main reason for that! We’ve had so many compliments on the beautiful venue, the great service, and absolute best wedding food! Absolutely gorgeous location.

Amazing from start to finish. Our initial contact was Heba Helmi who helped us with contracting with this hotel. She was very knowledgeable and made the process go smoothly. Then we began to work with Christine Donovan who was our Event Manager. Christine was spectacular. She guided us through the entire process of the wedding planning - very responsive to all of our questions, and helped us with suggestions, ideas, etc. On July 30, the staff at the Marriott including Christine brought their "A" game - they were spectacular. The day could not have gone more perfectly. We had compliments about the Hall, the Food, the Staff, etc. - everything was awesome. All of us are so happy that we chose this place for our daughter's wedding. I can't think of one thing that I would change. THANK YOU to the entire Lincolnshire Marriot Resort Staff. We are eternally grateful for all that you did to make this day one to remember.

We had the honor of planning our wedding and reception at Lincolnshire Marriott Resort. What a beautiful venue and location, and the amenities offered are just so wonderful too! Our wedding had been affected by COVID, as I am sure many are/had been. Kassandra, the general manager, and Christine, our wedding specialist, were so accommodating and generous with their time and resources. There are so many wonderful things I would like to share about them and how amazing they have been in this process! This has been such a whirlwind trying to figure everything out, and they have been nothing but helpful and accommodating to ensure our happiness for our special day. Not only did they each reach out to us individually to see if we needed anything, but collectively as the Lincolnshire Marriott Resort Team. I highly recommend this venue not only for the beautiful location and property, but also for the experience of working with such amazing staff members! From the time we walked into the front door until we left the parking lot, each member was so kind and helpful! What an amazing staff and venue for a wedding or event! Special shout out goes to Christine, she is literally one of the best human beings out there. She was so gracious, kind and honest which is exactly what we needed. Lincolnshire Marriott, thank you for helping us out when this crazy season and circumstances has hit us all!

Marriott We booked our wedding at the Lakeside Pavilion and it was so lovely. The natural backdrop provides soooo much beauty. The ceremony space was just outside our venue on the "lakeside" (right next to the pavilion) and was perfect for us. Kasandra Liebich walked us through our initial options and set us up with the package and the space and was helpful and friendly. Christine Donovan then took care of us throughout the planning process. She guided us through our food tasting, she provided written updates to our plan and selections as we made changes, she answered all of our questions along the way, and most importantly she was there the day of our wedding to ensure everything went smoothly - which it did! She was in charge of other eddings the same day as ours but we never once felt that she didn't have time for us. She really is a top notch professional. We can't help but feel so lucky to have worked with her! The team there handled all of our vendors arriving/setting up everything. When we got to our venue and saw everything all set up it looked absolutely beautiful. They had set everything up according to our requests and it looked even better than we could have imagined! The food was so good - many people made comments on how much they enjoyed the dinner. The service team was super nice and attentive as well. We really felt that they went above and beyond. Tips: *Make sure you have enough space reserved for the wedding party to get ready the day of - we ended up booking our suite for the night before to ensure this and we also booked space for the groomsmen to have a seperate area to get ready in as well. *Ask for what you need! The team there are happy to help.

The staff at Lincolnshire Marriott resort were wonderful to work with. From the day we booked the wedding in October, 2020 to the wedding weekend July 8-10,2022, it was smooth sailing. Christine, in catering, was wonderful to work with. She was a great help when we had to make some adjustments because of covid. The guest rooms were comfortable and clean. The property was beautifully maintained. I will recommend this venue to everyone that is planning an event.

We could not have asked for a more beautiful setting than the Lakeside Pavilion at the Marriott Lincolnshire! The Service was outstanding, the food was delicious, and the entire wedding was beyond beautiful. The Marriott Lincolnshire exceeded our expectations. Christine was a pleasure to work with and made sure everything we needed was taken care of!

The most perfect venue. Room was beautiful. The food was delicious. Service was fantastic. Christine our Event manager went above and beyond our expectations. She was wonderful, answered all our questions quickly and took care of everything. Was the most perfect day! Hotel staff took care of all our guests. Highly recommend the lincolnshire Marriott.

We booked the Lakeside Pavilion in November 2020 for our June 2022 wedding. We toured and booked with in the same week. We wanted to lock it down early! The blank slate type room really captured us. The natural lighting was awesome. We loved that it was easy for our guests. We worked with an event coordinator for all of the basics, we were with her until about 6-7 months out. She was fine, she helped us with the first phase of items (booking the room/room block). At 6-7 months out we were transferred to Christine who was our specific coordinator. She is very helpful and responsive. She attended to many of our specific needs and answered my endless questions. She coordinated our food tasting (so fun!) and day of details. Christine is effective and kind. She handled so much stuff for us, we couldn't have done it without her! Overall, we have no complaints about our big day. We loved the food, the room setup, the ceremony set up and so did our guests. The Marriott Lincolnshire is so accommodating. They attended to my guests dietary needs without any questions. Having both events on site was so easy for everyone. Our wedding was more than we could have ever imagined and the venue made it so easy! Pros: Lakeside Pavilion is definitely a one of a kind suburban venue All in one location (hotel, ceremony, reception) Food - so many complements on every course! So many options too! Bridal suite- perfect for hair and make-up! Service- from the set up, servers, bartenders, front desk everyone was beyond accommodating and so kind! Cons: Pavilion can get really warm despite AC Pavilion does not have great access to bathrooms for guests (neither of these things would cause us to not book) Pro-tips: Book the bridal suite in advance to have to get ready in (ie- the night before). The suite is large and offers natural light! It even has a cute outdoor patio. Ask for extra rooms for the block up front. We had a hard time getting extra (but ended up getting them)

I’ll start this review by saying that we had more compliments about how beautiful the reception was at the Lincolnshire Marriott in the Lakeside Pavilion than we ever anticipated we’d get. All of our guests raved about how beautiful the venue was and how exceptional the food tasted. All of that was true and we were so grateful our guests enjoyed themselves. What they didn’t know was how much went into all of the arrangements to make it such a special day and the professionalism and experience that the staff at the Marriott showed. Our initial contact was with Kassandra who gave us the Marriott “sales pitch” and it was hard not to love the look & feel of the Lakeside Pavilion with all the windows, outdoor scenery, high ceilings and chandeliers. After we chose to have our daughters wedding there over the Memorial Day weekend, were assigned to Christine as our Marriott wedding planner. She answered every question we had or, when required, found the answer within a day. We had 100+ out of town guests coming in from 14 states, so we needed the hotel component as well the reception venue. Christine and Kassandra helped facilitate all our needs, including a conference room to use as a hospitality suite for our guests over the long weekend. We had a lot of requests, and “We’ll take care of it” was the frequent reply. Christine stored some of our centerpieces in her office, helped with set up and was there on Saturday to be sure everything went off without a hitch. The food was exceptional (never heard a complaint) and the service was amazing. Felipe was the banquet captain and many guests made a point of singling him out for exceptional service, but honestly everyone from the wait staff to the bartenders were terrific. We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend having your wedding at the Lincolnshire Marriott based on the venue, food, and most importantly, the fantastic service they provided. It took a lot of the stress out of hosting a once in a lifetime event.

We had an incredible wedding here. The venue was beautiful in more than one location of the hotel, which offered lots of options for photos. Christine Donovan was amazing. She was extremely timely with responses and was able to accommodate nearly all of our special requests. The entire staff during the event was professional and fun. We had several guests rave about how delicious the food was and how beautiful the hotel was. Not to mention the chef altered several dishes to meet the very restrictive dietary needs of some of our guests. They also support our military with discounted rooms and packages. We are so excited to go back for our complimentary 1 year anniversary stay!

MOB here. Sorry it took me so long to get around to writing this. The Lincolnshire Marriott, which was completely remodeled & updated in 2018, did a wonderful job. We started working with them late spring, early summer of 2020 - when IL was just coming out of Covid Stay-At-Home orders. Let me begin by saying what a crazy time that was to be planning a wedding. The people of Lincolnshire Marriott did a fantastic job dealing with all the Covid craziness. We chose the Lakeside Pavillion & Patio which provided for a lovely backdrop for the ceremony. If I'm remembering correctly, there was supposed to be an up charge for the Lakeside Pavilion, but it was waved, I think due to the craziness of Covid. There is a minimum of $ that needs to be guaranteed to be spent when using The Lakeside Pavilion. There are 3 packages to choose from no matter which area in the resort you choose, Rustic, Romance, Indulgence. We went with Indulgence since we had to meet a minimum of $ anyways, and was not going to be having the max capacity of guests. We, along with our guests, thought the food was delicious. We gave our guests a choice of Roasted Chicken or Beef Tenderloin (you are charged for the higher priced entree) served with Cream of Mushroom Soup & Caesar Salad. The wedding cake, provided by Lovin' Oven Cakery is included. There is additional costs if you choose certain fillings & such. The Marriott was so easy to work with regarding our decor. The week of the wedding we dropped everything off, and there was a lot. Everyone at the Marriott was so nice, and attentive to our needs during the planning, and the day of. The last consultant we had, Christine, who we had the longest (we went through 3 or 4, because of Covid), was organized & flexible, as well as understanding when we (me) would make a mistake. A couple things to keep in mind. 1) Double, triple check they have your room block correct. Ours got screwed up. I chalk this up to having a number of consultants & Covid, though. 2) Ask for Special Concessions, i.e. my husband asked for 4 free rounds of golf & got them. 3) If you have elderly attending be aware that getting to the rest room my be difficult from The Lakeside Pavilion. My elderly in-laws were allowed access to the spa restroom which was closer than the pubic restroom. 4) The couple is given a free wedding suite for the evening. One of our consultants had said we would have access to it for the whole day. Nope. Another Covid miscue? I ended up having to pay to reserve that room to get it for the whole day for the bride & bridesmaids to get ready in. Otherwise, the getting ready rooms have no bathrooms in them.

The Lincolnshire Marriott is the best place to have your wedding!! The tents are beautiful, the food is amazing, their staff is so accommodating! Christine (event coordinator) was the best and always answered our questions promptly, met with us to go over details, and was very supportive throughout the entire wedding process!!! Also, the soup was so good - our guests couldn't stop raving about it!

The Lincolnshire Marriott was excellent! Service was incredible, everything went smoothly, and everyone had an incredible night!! My husband and I were very pleased with how the room turned out and the excellent food! Highly recommend!

If you're looking for a hidden gem you found it! The Marriott Lincolnshire has a beautiful Lakeside Pavilion with an outdoor ceremony area that allows you to see all the beauty of the outdoors with their floor-to-ceiling windows. Their staff was fantastic to work with and Christine made sure that every detail was handled on the day of the wedding. The property has so much to do while visiting it's definitely a top favorite wedding venue of mine!

I would definitely recommend this wedding venue. Christine and the Marriott staff were very helpful and patient with us as we planned not only one, but two, wedding events. The staff especially worked hard with COVID and all the changing requirements and influx of weddings being rescheduled. Christine always answered our questions and worked with us to accommodate our needs.

The Lincolnshire Marriott was a fabulous venue for my daughter’s wedding. Our Event Manager, Christine Donovan, was pleasant, easy to work with and was very responsive to my questions and requests. The Lakeside Pavilion and grounds were beautiful! The food was delicious and the wait staff worked hard to create a lovely dinner. The front desk staff were friendly & helpful in distributing our welcome boxes to our hotel guests. We had so many compliments from our guests!

Lakeside Pavillon tent at the Marriott is a BEAUTIFUL venue! Everyone at the wedding was blown away. The view from the ceremony was stunning. It is a great resort making it so convenient to stay a couple nights even after the wedding. I loved how accommodating Christine Donovan the event coordinator was with all of my questions and concerns. She really made sure the night went as planned. It was so nice having the same contact person during the entire year leading up to the wedding. I will definitely be staying at the Marriott again just so i can enjoy all of the amazing amenities!!

We had our wedding here in August and it was one of the best decisions we made! Especially during a time when planning was tough, Kasandra’s assurance and professionalism instantly put us at ease and we knew we were making the right choice with hosting our event there. With both Kasandra and Christine, we appreciated their quick responses to the many questions we had and for being available when needed. All staff members I met were so accommodating and did a great job of making sure the wedding ran smoothly. The resort turned out to be the ideal place for hosting since we had our rehearsal dinner in the Grove Pavilion, wedding in the Lakeside Pavilion, and brunch in a ballroom - we and our guests didn’t have to leave the premises once. We are thrilled with how everything turned out and can’t recommend this venue enough!

This venue was great.... our event coordinator was Christine D.... she was very helpful in planning the events with us and had some good suggestions. The guests also told us how much they loved the venue !!

A++ for care, attentiveness, responsiveness, flexibility and FOOD. So many guests commented on how delicious dinner was (a favorite was the potato-leek soup :) :)) Thank you, Christine and Joe and all the amazing staff! Christine was truly incredible to work with -- and handled everything the day of the wedding (including the difficult decision of where to hold the ceremony with the iffy weather). The Lakeside Pavillion needs minimal decor to look stunning - simple and elegant. The only complaint I have is hotel services linked to COVID-19 and staffing. There was no breakfast for guests and Starbucks was only open until 11am. A minor issue, but with so many out-of-town guests, it was inconvenient. This is seriously the only thing and probably won't be an issue in the coming months! I highly recommend a visit as you look around for venues.

Christine was amazing to work with! She was super helpful and made the process (especially dealing with a COVID wedding) so much easier. The day of was beautiful and everything went super smoothly. Lakeside Pavilion was perfect and I was so happy with how it all turned out.

1. Selection of Venue: We are a Hindu(Telugu) vegetarian family live in Singapore. In this COVID pandemic time international travel restrictions are fluid. Arranging my daughter wedding was tough. I was looking for venue in Chicago which is suitable for Hindu wedding, option to have indoor and outdoor venue, able to setup Mandap, and vegetarian food. I have searched many but Lincolnshire met all our needs. The brochure provided by Robbie was very informative. For my daughter Hindu wedding we chose Lakeside Pavilion. Backdrop is a lake. It is a great and photogenic venue with lake backdrop. Lincolnshire is very flexibility enabled us to choose external pujari, photographer and videographers. 2. Planning Once contract was signed Event Manager (Christine) was appointed. Event manager is single point contact for planning and execution. Emails were answered promptly. Called office numbers few times with pre arranged meeting times. Christine is friendly and very approachable person. She has guide me for all my queries. 2. Stay during wedding: We have booked Double bed rooms. We have checked in one day earlier than wedding day. The rooms are clean and specious. 3. Execution: It was surprise to me that approved vendors like Poonam Creations and Saffron caters could directly interact with Lincolnshire (Christine) for detail planning. Little effort was needed from me to coordinate. On the wedding day Lincolnshire team was very handy. Captain was able to coordinate to get the changes done as and when needed. All in all It was best venue for Weddings. I definitely will recommend Lincolnshire for weddings.

The Lincolnshire Marriott is an amazing wedding venue. We had our wedding on 9/20/2020 in the Lakeside Pavilion, and it was STUNNING! They really worked with us with COVID guidelines as well as making us feel taken care of at all times. When we originally booked the venue last year, we weren't expecting 2020 to be this way, but we are so incredibly grateful for the amazing staff that helped us all the way through. They didn't try to screw us over with contracts or anything at all due to the pandemic--just the opposite. Christine Donovan was our original coordinator and she was great! Detail oriented and super nice, always responded quickly. Unfortunately with COVID in the mix, she was no longer our coordinator starting in May, but we eventually were assigned Kasandra as our new coordinator. She did an AMAZING job pulling everything together despite how up in the air everything was with the planning process throughout the summer. She had everything under control, and as a COVID bride, I felt like everything was falling apart every 2 weeks--so it was so nice to have someone who had everything covered and was so helpful. Kasandra would get back to my call or email within 10 minutes most times. The day of was perfect as well. The staff all around no matter where is so HELPFUL and so NICE! We also had one person as a no show to our already downsized wedding, and the Marriott credited us for that plate after the wedding! I've never heard of such amazing treatment from other venues and my now husband and I couldn't be happier with the outcome of our pandemic wedding. It honestly turned out better than what I thought the original wedding would be like. Don't hesistate, book them now! The venue is all-in-one easy access and it is GORGEOUS! Shoutout to Linda (original catering/sales person we booked with) for selling us on the Lincolnshire Marriott. She was amazing!

This was the most amazing venue for our wedding and I could not have envisioned a more perfect day. Our event was in the Lakeside Pavilion, and it was set up absolutely gorgeously. The food was DELICIOUS, some of the best food I’ve ever had at a wedding. All my family and friends stayed for the whole weekend and the resort was so fun to hang out in. The rooms were nice and although we were a little scattered throughout the hotel, it wasn’t a problem at all. Wrights Brew and Bistro, the bar in the hotel, was wonderful, taking care of everyone who came through to say hi to us while we hung out. Carlos, one of the bartenders, was so sweet, very accommodating when we descended upon them with everyone. But single handedly the best part of our wedding, out of every single person we interacted with, was the coordinator Angela Johnson. ANGELA IS A SAINT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! When you book your wedding with the Lincolnshire, you are also booking a day-of coordinator who helps you with every aspect of planning the wedding on the venue’s side I’m an out-of-town bride, and I cannot tell you how many emails we have sent back and forth with question upon question with plans and changes of plans. When I had a question, she answered it right away. Even when my family had questions, she answered them right away. Her communication is clear and speedy. Any issue that arose, she handled it swiftly and painlessly. She had amazing ideas for miscellaneous things, and she was helpful in giving us an opinion based on her experience when we were considering something but didn’t know if it would work. I want to get married again just to work with Angela. She was just such a joy to work with and made this entire wedding planning process fun and almost effortless. Seriously, when you book at the Lincolnshire, DEMAND to work with Angela! Angela’s bosses, take note of this review and give her a huge raise because she is doing such good work and will absolutely elevate your reputation as a wedding venue. We are sad to be done working with her – thank you so much Angela!!!!! 😊

The Lincolnshire Marriott was the 9th venue we visited when we were looking for possible venues for our wedding. We kept looking because we just didn’t get the “wow factor” at the other places. As soon as we toured Lincolnshire Marriott we knew we had to have our wedding there. We had both the ceremony and reception in the Lakeside Pavilion. It was such a romantic space. From the planning to the end of our wedding, the entire staff was a delight to work with. We had the pleasure of working with Angela as our wedding event coordinator. Words can’t express our gratitude for everything she did for us. She answered all my emails and questions very quickly, she was so accommodating and she definitely knew how to do her job and how to do it excellently. I didn’t hire a wedding coordinator but Angela guided me in so many ways. On the day of our wedding, she made sure that everything was organized from the decorations to making sure we were running on time. She was so meticulous and it made our wedding unforgettable. We enjoyed the food so much and so did our guests. During the post wedding brunch, all everyone was talking about was how great the food was. We opted for combination entrees because it was so hard to choose just one. Their desserts were to die for! Lincolnshire Marriott Resort was so fabulous. We’re so glad that we found it and had our wedding there.

The beauty of this venue was only matched by the convenience that accompanied selecting the Lincolnshire Marriott. One major “need” for our wedding was making sure that there was as little travel involved for our guests as possible. Additionally, we wanted to have an outdoor ceremony. The Lincolnshire Marriott fulfilled both of these for us. They have several beautiful outdoor spaces as well as reception areas, allowing everything from pre-wedding pictures through the end of the night able to happen in one centralized location. They even automatically reserve an indoor space for the ceremony in case of inclement weather. The hotel rooms were great, too, which gave us ease of mind knowing that many of our guests were able to walk to their rooms at the end of the night. Our coordinator, Christine Donovan, was fantastic and a massive help. She helped us pickout everything for our wedding from table cloth colors, chair designs, food and drinks, locations, and venue set up. We met with her several times leading up to our wedding, and she was there not only for our rehearsal the night before, but also from 3 hours before our wedding through most of the reception, at which point a “wedding captain” took over to help us close out the night. She was also prompt in her responses whenever we had questions (which my wife had MANY questions throughout the whole process). Thank you Christine for all your work! The Lincolnshire Marriott also has an incredible staff. They set up the ceremony and reception beautifully and in record time. It was also such a relief to rely on the catering and bar staff of the Lincolnshire Marriott. All of our guests loved the food that was served, as well as complimented the aesthetics of the venue. You will pay a slight, easily-justifiable premium for this service, but it is well worth it and does not break the bank.

The Marriott is a wonderful venue. They have many beautiful options for ceremonies/receptions, both outdoor and indoor, that look beautiful. Their food is delicious, and they are so experienced in events that they are extremely easy to work with. Our coordinator Christine was wonderful. She was easy, organized, and listened to us every step of the way. She not only worked well with us, but seamlessly with all our vendors as well. We always felt like Christine would remind us of any detail we weren't already thinking of and would help us take care of it if need be. Day-of we didn't have anything to worry about because she was on the case. The day-of was as smooth as one hopes it will be. There were no hiccups, no mistakes, no confusion at all. It was as close to perfect as a real life wedding could possibly be. Our photos look amazing because the grounds is gorgeous and has an abundance of photo options. And of course the wedding itself looked and ran beautifully. Our only small complaint is that the prep rooms you get for the day of the wedding are just normal sized hotel rooms, which is not really usable, especially for bride and bridesmaids. It would be amazing to be afforded a larger room to prep in. Otherwise the entire experience was immensely positive.

We had our reception on August 24 in the Grove Pavilion. It was fantastic! The staff made it such a stress-free night (as well as the months leading up to it) and just really allowed us to enjoy the evening. Our wedding planner Angela was great and so helpful and during the wedding we had great people helping out. I can't possibly recommend them enough

We had our wedding at the Lincolnshire Marriott Resort! Angela was the person who helped us during the whole year before our wedding July 29, 2019! It was magical and she outdid herself. Everyone was impressed with the 3 course meal, the outdoor ceremony, and the lakeside reception! The soup was so great with the pastry on top, that we still have people talking about it. I couldn't have asked for a better location! My mother is disabled and so is my husband's grandfather, they accommodated everything and made everyone feel so welcome. Thanks so much, Angela! We couldn't have done it without you.

We had an incredible experience planning with the Marriott Staff and having our wedding in one of the tents at the start of July this year. From the beginning planning stages to the actual event, everyone at the Marriott were transparent and made the actual planning easy, even though we were planning the wedding from China. The tent was beautiful, the staff at our wedding were ready to support us in any way they could, and we were extremely happy with the outcome (our guests were too). The salesperson Linda worked with us to make sure we could fit everything into our budget, the Wedding Planner Christine helped make sure that we had everything we needed for the big day, and the Event Captain was there to assist us throughout the event. On the day, all staff at the hotel were accommodating from the reception staff, to the bell boys, and the spa staff. The food was some of the best wedding food that we have ever tasted, it was like food from a 5-Star hotel restaurant. The steak was perfect and the chicken was also delicious. We couldn't recommend the Lincolnshire Marriott more for those looking to plan their wedding!

I visited at least 10-15 different venues before visiting the Marriott Resort, and the Lakeside Pavilion was EXACTLY the kind of space I had been looking for! We had our wedding reception here on June 22, 2019, and absolutely everything was perfect. My bridesmaids and I were able to stay in a suite right next to the Pavilion to allow easy access to the room for set-up, and the hotel staff were so helpful and accommodating in getting our space set up. Christine Donovan was our coordinator, and she is AMAZING. From the countless emails with random questions I had to helping calm my nerves the day of, she was outstanding throughout the whole process. Service was incredible during cocktail hour, dinner, and beyond. We got SO many compliments about the beauty of the space, the hotel rooms, and the FOOD. We are so, so happy to have had our wedding here - thank you for everything!

I was recently a guest at a wedding here. One of the unexpected highlights was attending a live theatre performance at the hotel's theatre in the round. We needed something to do the evening after the wedding, and didn't have a car to drive into the city. The theatre here is second to none - quality performers, musicians, and theatre in the round is truly something to experience once in your lifetime! I second all the positive comments left by other reviewers, but just want to add this other insight. The theatre is an amazing extra that comes with this venue!!

We had our wedding at the Lincolnshire Marriott on June 15, 2019. This is the perfect venue if you are looking to have a stress-free day. We had both the wedding ceremony and reception in the Lakeside Pavilion. My Husband and I chose the Lincolnshire Marriott specifically for this room. We had looked at other hotels in the Northwest Chicago Suburbs because we wanted our guests to have an easy place to stay/have the wedding ceremony and reception all at the same venue, but could not get over the boring, usually ugly ballrooms. The Lincolnshire Marriott offers the ease and convenience of a hotel and having everything in one spot, but the Lakeside Pavilion has actual windows and view of the hotel grounds and lake so it is beautiful and does not feel like your typical hotel ballroom. The price per person is a little higher than other venues in the area, but the service is fantastic and the food/drinks were all very good. We got a lot of compliments on the venue both from guests who stayed at the hotel multiple nights and friends/family who just came for the wedding. Also I have to say we also got compliments on the dinner tasting good, and the venue does not skimp on portion sizes for food or drinks. If we had to re-do our wedding we would definitely have it at the Lincolnshire Marriott again.

We fell in love with the Lakeside Pavilion when we toured venues. The space was gorgeous with the candlelight we brought in, and we loved having our December event with the whole hotel decorated for the holidays. Christine was quick to respond to emails over the 16 months of planning and took every one of my requests. And our guests and my husband can't stop raving about the soup course. Easily worth the higher cost to have a full-service venue. And on the big day, the staff treated us and our parents like valued guests, including a private room for my husband and I to snack on our appetizers before cocktail hour, and a bottle of champagne and strawberries waiting in our suite after the reception.

We wouldn’t have changed a thing from the food tasting to the planning to the night of the wedding! Food and service was amazing. We had the best night and so did our guests. Big thank you to Christine and team for the best night ever!

We had our wedding here on 10/13/18 and everything was phenomenal. We chose the Grand Marquee ballroom, as it was big enough to fit our almost 300 person reception. It's a beautiful space and I loved that it did not feel like a normal hotel venue, but all of our guests loved the convenience of having it at the hotel. We received SO many compliments about how amazing the food was! We worked with Angela, and she did a great job coordinating everything. We had some people unexpectedly unable to attend two days prior to our wedding due to a sudden death in their family, and the Marriott was super understanding and accommodating, crediting us back the number of people that could no longer attend. We also had a day after breakfast in the Grove Pavilion which was a perfect space (we had over 100 people stay at the hotel). I would 100% recommend the Lincolnshire Marriott for hosting a wedding! Their recent remodel is BEAUTIFUL and the grounds are expansive and perfect for outdoor photos. Can't say enough good things!

I cannot say enough positive things about hosting our wedding at the Lincolnshire Marriott Resort. From our consultation meeting through the days following our wedding we were extremely happy and impressed with their responsiveness, accommodations, and professionalism. The facilities are clean and beautiful, and we were happy to be able to offer an outdoor aspect to our venue, along with an after party in the hotel bar. The food was unbelievable, and we are still getting compliments from our guests about the food and venue months after our wedding. The staff was extremely responsive a professional. Any request we had before the wedding and throughout the night was met with a smile and followthrough. We were especially impressed with the Head Banquet Captain, Felipe, he went above and beyond to ensure our evening ran smoothly. We didn't have to worry about anything, except enjoying our family and friends at our wedding celebration.
