ly everything. Everything is upfront, and we were not surprised by any hidden fees, which is kind of a notorious thing for weddings. The food was amazing!! They have a garden on site and they grow all of their vegetables so it is kind of like farm to table, everything was so fresh! We did something out of the ordinary by having our moms officiate the wedding, and the officiant is supposed to lead the rehearsal.. with that being said we didnt really know what we were doing but Marie, one of the event managers took time out of her busy day filled with meetings to help us lead the rehearsal. Everyone there was so helpful during the planning process and responded fairly quickly to the plethora of emails I sent. I would recommend this place to anyone getting married!

Although it was stressful at times, it was ultimately the way to go for us. Christine was super helpful with assisting us throughout the process. Overall, the cost for the reception is what I would expect for the quality of food and service we received. Highly recommend!

ze our time together. The staff at the Lincolnshire Marriott knocked it out of the park. We had 62 rooms booked for the wedding weekend. All of our guests complimented the staff for their kindness and professionalism. Some of our guests even extended their stay at the hotel to enjoy their beautiful facilities. The Event Manager we worked with was Christine and she did a great job answering all of our questions. She helped my in-laws plan a wonderful welcome party and post-wedding brunch. Christine, along with the amazing kitchen staff, handled all of the food allergies and restrictions with ease. One of the highlights of wedding planning was our tasting. I was able to bring my parents and in-laws for the experience. We had the best time and the food was to die for! As the wedding date approached, I felt we were greatly supported as Christine collaborated with our vendors easily. Not many brides can say that the planning process was largely relaxing and productive. The staff during the wedding weekend were remarkable! Our banquet captain Felipe was the absolute sweetest! He introduced himself to my family as well as my husband’s family. Felipe made sure to check on us multiple times throughout the reception to see if we needed anything. He also worked extremely well with my day of coordinator during the reception! It helped time out our toasts perfectly and seamlessly transition into the dancing portion of the evening. I want to give a special shout-out to Patti, the catering sales manager, who drove the golf cart to and from our getting ready rooms! It was extremely helpful as we moved from the first look location to the ceremony. My grandfather has been struggling with his health and moving around. The golf cart was a large reason why he was able to join the festivities! The entire weekend was amazing start to finish! Thank you to all of the Marriott staff who made it possible!

e (Lovin' Oven), providing table numbers and colorful tablecloth, recommending a sound person, etc. Sometimes the communication could have been clearer, but they always got back to us with our questions. The venue was gorgeous with plenty of natural lighting. The venue includes 2 future games of golf for the married couple, as well as the option to take wedding photos on their beautiful golf course. I highly recommend this venue.

ristine for the planning was easy and she helped us with every request, no matter how small. And, everything happened exactly as we had hoped. The food was perfect. The Marriott chef worked with us on a few special menu items and everything was exactly as we had requested and hoped. The staff at all events was professional and provided outstanding service. We loved working with the Marriott Lincolnshire, Christine Abbs, highly recommend them and are so happy we chose to have our wedding celebration with them!

perfect. The room was lovely. Food was excellent - all agreed. Our banquet manager, Tracy, was fantastic - would recommend her ! All that being said, we struggled all the way up to our wedding. We had to ask most of the questions instead of the coordinator checking in to see what we'd like with decor, location, food preferences. She did show us the original party location but it was changed last minute due to lack of air conditioning in the original tent. Our ceremony location was too damp to walk on so they did offer to move us to the patio in Lakeside pavillion which was great. AV services were helpful. We used our own vendors for the rest.

e initial stages of the process. We then worked very closely with Christine who was very professional, helpful, accommodating, and so great to work with! She communicated efficiently (and always had quick responses when we emailed her questions) with us, and made sure that we had everything we wanted for our special day. We had to last-minute change the location of our ceremony and the process of doing that was so seamless and stress-free because of Christine. We had so many compliments from our guests about the appetizers from cocktail hour, the drinks, and the dinner entrees - everything was so delicious. The resort itself is HUGE and offers so much! We loved providing our guests with the option to walk to their rooms after, and even had a huge group go to the hotel's bar/restaurant after our reception. I cannot recommend the Lincolnshire Marriott enough for any event. Everyone we worked with was so great and our guests had a blast.

The venue is very flexible and familiar with Indian weddings which allowed us to honor our traditions, keep our guests comfortable, and provide an awesome experience for us and our families. The rooms are comfortable, the food is REALLY good, and they take very good care of you as the couple. We felt really lucky to find this venue for our special day.

literally everything else. Our guests RAVED about the bacon wrapped briskets, the artichoke beignets, the potato soup…literally everything. We upgraded our bar to add margarita ingredients as our signature drink and we ALSO heard everyone raving about them. They had to pause making them for a few minutes while they restocked the bar because EVERYONE was drinking them. Truly such an incredible culinary experience — from the tasting to day-of food. We also heard from all of our guests how amazing the whole resort was. We filled around 50 rooms with guests from out of town and they were super appreciative of all the amenities, from the convenient restaurants in the resort to the pool and Starbucks! The photo locations on the grounds are awesome. I’m not sure what we would’ve done if it rained, but the greenery made for beautiful pictures. Christine Abbs is a phenomenal resource and event manager, and I was so grateful to have her throughout our planning process. If I had to provide one piece of advice with this venue it would be to potentially get ready in your hotel rooms or elsewhere, if you can. We were so grateful for the spacious rooms they provided for both the bride and groom to get ready in, but not having direct access to a bathroom was challenging when I needed my last minute bio break before walking down the aisle or when everyone was touching up their makeup and needed mirrors. But truly, that wasn’t even that much of an issue. 5 stars! Would pick the Lincolnshire Marriott 10 times over.

dealt with were top notch, especially Marie Kopczyk, who was there for us from beginning to end, making sure that our expectations were not only met, but greatly exceeded. I would highly recommend the Lincolnshire Marriott, not only for its beautiful grounds, but also, especially its great staff! If I could give a higher rating than 5 stars I would certainly do so.

and has so many amenities for your guests (golf course, pool, restaurants, bar and Starbucks all on sight). Christine was so nice to work with, she received countless emails from me as we finalized all the details, and always responded in a timely manner. Phillipe was our point of contact during the reception and him and his staff were wonderful. He was checking in on us, our wedding party, our parents and all of our guests to insure that everyone was enjoying themselves. The food and drinks were just as delicious at our wedding day, as they were at our tasting. We were also surprised with a bottle of champagne and chocolate covered strawberries in our room after the reception. I would recommend asking if the conference rooms can be reserved to get ready in, they are a lot bigger than the bridal suite so you have more space to spread out!

dating for guests for an Indian wedding weekend. They did state that they had a shuttle service, however, it was not running on our weekend which wasn’t great for guests who didn’t have a car.

h the reception inside. Everything was perfect and our guest LOVED it! From the beginning working with Christine was a breeze. She was so helpful, provided great recommendations and was extremely patient and answered my hundreds of questions with ease. There were several items (alcohol selections, appetizers, etc.) that we wanted to change outside of the package offerings and the Marriot was incredibly flexible and let us make all the changes we requested! On the day of the wedding, Christine made sure everything went on seamlessly. Everything was exactly the way we discussed. The food was amazing as well and we received SO many compliments on how great it was. The grounds and venue are so beautiful, and it was the perfect place to have all our family stay for the weekend. There was so much to do for everyone at the resort. Overall, the Marriott exceeded our expectations, and we would 10000% recommend!

we began to work with Christine Donovan who was our Event Manager. Christine was spectacular. She guided us through the entire process of the wedding planning - very responsive to all of our questions, and helped us with suggestions, ideas, etc. On July 30, the staff at the Marriott including Christine brought their "A" game - they were spectacular. The day could not have gone more perfectly. We had compliments about the Hall, the Food, the Staff, etc. - everything was awesome. All of us are so happy that we chose this place for our daughter's wedding. I can't think of one thing that I would change. THANK YOU to the entire Lincolnshire Marriot Resort Staff. We are eternally grateful for all that you did to make this day one to remember.

r wedding had been affected by COVID, as I am sure many are/had been. Kassandra, the general manager, and Christine, our wedding specialist, were so accommodating and generous with their time and resources. There are so many wonderful things I would like to share about them and how amazing they have been in this process! This has been such a whirlwind trying to figure everything out, and they have been nothing but helpful and accommodating to ensure our happiness for our special day. Not only did they each reach out to us individually to see if we needed anything, but collectively as the Lincolnshire Marriott Resort Team. I highly recommend this venue not only for the beautiful location and property, but also for the experience of working with such amazing staff members! From the time we walked into the front door until we left the parking lot, each member was so kind and helpful! What an amazing staff and venue for a wedding or event! Special shout out goes to Christine, she is literally one of the best human beings out there. She was so gracious, kind and honest which is exactly what we needed. Lincolnshire Marriott, thank you for helping us out when this crazy season and circumstances has hit us all!

"lakeside" (right next to the pavilion) and was perfect for us. Kasandra Liebich walked us through our initial options and set us up with the package and the space and was helpful and friendly. Christine Donovan then took care of us throughout the planning process. She guided us through our food tasting, she provided written updates to our plan and selections as we made changes, she answered all of our questions along the way, and most importantly she was there the day of our wedding to ensure everything went smoothly - which it did! She was in charge of other eddings the same day as ours but we never once felt that she didn't have time for us. She really is a top notch professional. We can't help but feel so lucky to have worked with her! The team there handled all of our vendors arriving/setting up everything. When we got to our venue and saw everything all set up it looked absolutely beautiful. They had set everything up according to our requests and it looked even better than we could have imagined! The food was so good - many people made comments on how much they enjoyed the dinner. The service team was super nice and attentive as well. We really felt that they went above and beyond. Tips: *Make sure you have enough space reserved for the wedding party to get ready the day of - we ended up booking our suite for the night before to ensure this and we also booked space for the groomsmen to have a seperate area to get ready in as well. *Ask for what you need! The team there are happy to help.

eally captured us. The natural lighting was awesome. We loved that it was easy for our guests. We worked with an event coordinator for all of the basics, we were with her until about 6-7 months out. She was fine, she helped us with the first phase of items (booking the room/room block). At 6-7 months out we were transferred to Christine who was our specific coordinator. She is very helpful and responsive. She attended to many of our specific needs and answered my endless questions. She coordinated our food tasting (so fun!) and day of details. Christine is effective and kind. She handled so much stuff for us, we couldn't have done it without her! Overall, we have no complaints about our big day. We loved the food, the room setup, the ceremony set up and so did our guests. The Marriott Lincolnshire is so accommodating. They attended to my guests dietary needs without any questions. Having both events on site was so easy for everyone. Our wedding was more than we could have ever imagined and the venue made it so easy! Pros: Lakeside Pavilion is definitely a one of a kind suburban venue All in one location (hotel, ceremony, reception) Food - so many complements on every course! So many options too! Bridal suite- perfect for hair and make-up! Service- from the set up, servers, bartenders, front desk everyone was beyond accommodating and so kind! Cons: Pavilion can get really warm despite AC Pavilion does not have great access to bathrooms for guests (neither of these things would cause us to not book) Pro-tips: Book the bridal suite in advance to have to get ready in (ie- the night before). The suite is large and offers natural light! It even has a cute outdoor patio. Ask for extra rooms for the block up front. We had a hard time getting extra (but ended up getting them)

e’d get. All of our guests raved about how beautiful the venue was and how exceptional the food tasted. All of that was true and we were so grateful our guests enjoyed themselves. What they didn’t know was how much went into all of the arrangements to make it such a special day and the professionalism and experience that the staff at the Marriott showed. Our initial contact was with Kassandra who gave us the Marriott “sales pitch” and it was hard not to love the look & feel of the Lakeside Pavilion with all the windows, outdoor scenery, high ceilings and chandeliers. After we chose to have our daughters wedding there over the Memorial Day weekend, were assigned to Christine as our Marriott wedding planner. She answered every question we had or, when required, found the answer within a day. We had 100+ out of town guests coming in from 14 states, so we needed the hotel component as well the reception venue. Christine and Kassandra helped facilitate all our needs, including a conference room to use as a hospitality suite for our guests over the long weekend. We had a lot of requests, and “We’ll take care of it” was the frequent reply. Christine stored some of our centerpieces in her office, helped with set up and was there on Saturday to be sure everything went off without a hitch. The food was exceptional (never heard a complaint) and the service was amazing. Felipe was the banquet captain and many guests made a point of singling him out for exceptional service, but honestly everyone from the wait staff to the bartenders were terrific. We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend having your wedding at the Lincolnshire Marriott based on the venue, food, and most importantly, the fantastic service they provided. It took a lot of the stress out of hosting a once in a lifetime event.

We had several guests rave about how delicious the food was and how beautiful the hotel was. Not to mention the chef altered several dishes to meet the very restrictive dietary needs of some of our guests. They also support our military with discounted rooms and packages. We are so excited to go back for our complimentary 1 year anniversary stay!

ng with them late spring, early summer of 2020 - when IL was just coming out of Covid Stay-At-Home orders. Let me begin by saying what a crazy time that was to be planning a wedding. The people of Lincolnshire Marriott did a fantastic job dealing with all the Covid craziness. We chose the Lakeside Pavillion & Patio which provided for a lovely backdrop for the ceremony. If I'm remembering correctly, there was supposed to be an up charge for the Lakeside Pavilion, but it was waved, I think due to the craziness of Covid. There is a minimum of $ that needs to be guaranteed to be spent when using The Lakeside Pavilion. There are 3 packages to choose from no matter which area in the resort you choose, Rustic, Romance, Indulgence. We went with Indulgence since we had to meet a minimum of $ anyways, and was not going to be having the max capacity of guests. We, along with our guests, thought the food was delicious. We gave our guests a choice of Roasted Chicken or Beef Tenderloin (you are charged for the higher priced entree) served with Cream of Mushroom Soup & Caesar Salad. The wedding cake, provided by Lovin' Oven Cakery is included. There is additional costs if you choose certain fillings & such. The Marriott was so easy to work with regarding our decor. The week of the wedding we dropped everything off, and there was a lot. Everyone at the Marriott was so nice, and attentive to our needs during the planning, and the day of. The last consultant we had, Christine, who we had the longest (we went through 3 or 4, because of Covid), was organized & flexible, as well as understanding when we (me) would make a mistake. A couple things to keep in mind. 1) Double, triple check they have your room block correct. Ours got screwed up. I chalk this up to having a number of consultants & Covid, though. 2) Ask for Special Concessions, i.e. my husband asked for 4 free rounds of golf & got them. 3) If you have elderly attending be aware that getting to the rest room my be difficult from The Lakeside Pavilion. My elderly in-laws were allowed access to the spa restroom which was closer than the pubic restroom. 4) The couple is given a free wedding suite for the evening. One of our consultants had said we would have access to it for the whole day. Nope. Another Covid miscue? I ended up having to pay to reserve that room to get it for the whole day for the bride & bridesmaids to get ready in. Otherwise, the getting ready rooms have no bathrooms in them.
