We currently reside in Hawai'i & after doing online research, hired her (along with her partner) for our wedding ceremony (boho themed in a barn) that took place on 30 Jun 24 in Mayflower, Arkansas. 17 days afterward, she provided 500 photos that appeared to have little to no edits & others that just should not have made the final cut. By no means did we expect major edits to completely change the original. However, the (dark) lighting was the same in 99% of them. As requested, I provided inspiration photos wks in advance & not one of them were used. There were no photos of my bridal party posed in the suite, 1 photo of our rings (not close up), 1 that was blurry of my daughter (flower girl) walking down the aisle, no mommy/daughter poses in the bridal suite & she constantly asked me throughout the ceremony where I wanted photos taken at. Inspiration photos provided were poses inside a bridal suite and outside but when I inquired as to why none were used, she stated once she saw the venue she realized they couldn't be used, yet this info was never conveyed to us until I asked wks after the fact. After sending a few emails & asking how to rectify our concerns, she stopped responding & I haven't heard back from her in wks. To say I'm disappointed is an understatement, but it's a huge lesson learned. Based on this experience, I can not recommend her to anyone.

Linda was awesome from the start! She was on time every time we needed her, had awesome suggestions and let us be candid and was able to capture everything we wanted and then some!

Linda did an amazing job at my daughter's wedding. The pictures came out amazing. She was extremely professional and an exceptionally talented photographer. I would highly recommend her for any photographic needs. She is very friendly and listened to what we wanted in our pictures.

Linda was the photographer for my intimate church wedding in 2012. I have always been a little camera shy (and shy in general), so I wanted a photographer who would take charge and make sure I ended up with beautiful photos that I would treasure for the rest of my life. While she encouraged me to give her a list of specific shots I wanted, and I gave her several, she filled in all the gaps and gave me beautiful images I never would have thought to capture. I never know how to “pose” in photos, and end up feeling awkward, but Linda made me feel comfortable, and helped me and pose in such a way that I look comfortable, beautiful, confident, and anything but awkward. Communication was a breeze, and nothing was left unanswered. She gave me options for things like first look before the wedding or at the altar, and respected my decisions with no pressure either way. Throughout the planning process, she made sure we were on the same page about all the details that I wouldn’t have even thought of, and that everything was just how I wanted it. On the wedding day, she beautifully captured not only the planned posed images, but also candid shots that I will treasure all of my life. When I first saw my wedding photos, I could not believe how beautiful they were. I couldn’t have imagined myself looking as beautiful as I did in those photos. My entire wedding party were captured beautifully, and when I look back at my photos, it takes me right back to my wedding day. She even made sure to capture photos of all of my guests at the reception, so I’ll always remember everyone who was there. Working with Linda was one of the easiest parts of wedding planning, and I am so happy that I have such beautiful photos to go with my memories of my wedding day.

Very professional and personable for my small outdoor wedding. Cost was very reasonable and the images are priceless. I 100% recommend Linda Buchanan Photography for your special day!
