Lindley Battle Photography

y. We hired Lindley for our wedding at the Boston Public Library in July. Lindley was the first photographer we interviewed- it was clear that she understood our vision within 5 minutes and her positive energy was infectious through the phone. We basically hired her on the spot! Communication and coordination in the led up to the wedding was great. We met a once over the phone between the first interview and the wedding. We mostly communicated through email. We felt we didn’t need contact Lindley a much as other vendors because she was completely on the same page as us. I think that says a lot about her experience and she wasn’t shy about asking questions when she wanted to know more about a detail we wanted. She provided a detailed questionnaire a little over a month out that covered a lot of different details. We felt like the questionnaire wasn’t overly burdensome, but we talked through it over the phone together (which was greatly appreciated!). She did a great job outlining the wedding day and the photos we would be taking that day We didn’t do a traditional engagement session and opted to do a short photo shoot the day before. It was a lot of fun and help us get comfortable in front of the camera. It was great that Lindley was able to accommodate us. During the day of the wedding, Lindley was excellent- not just in the photography skills- but in helping to keep the day on track even though we had multiple, multiple hiccups (and it rained!). We got our photos back quick too- which I was surprised because I know how in demand her services are. I don’t feel like I need to say much on how the photos came out because if you’ve seen Lindley’s work you know it’s incredible. Our photos are beyond our wildest dreams. We’ll cherish these memories forever! I would recommend Lindley 1000%.

oot, but so many people recommended it so that you and your photographer can get to know each other (and you get more amazing photos). I am SO happy we made this decision. My husband had never had any kind of professional photos of himself taken before and he had the best time (and he isn’t a big fan of having his photo taken). The hours flew by and we honestly felt like we had spent time catching up with an old friend. I was nervous about taking photos in front of people and I truly did not even notice this in the moment, Lindley made us feel so comfortable in front of the camera. For our wedding, I sent Lindley a Pinterest board with vibe inspo, but had no specific photos in mind and she absolutely killed it. We didn’t book a videographer and I do not have any regrets about this because of the way that Lindley was able to capture our reception–the photos make you feel the moment. Everyone that I shared our wedding album with was so amazed at the photos: the quality, the style, the detail. Not only is she an amazing photographer but she is fun, kind, and a joy to be around. I have been in and attended many weddings and I have never worked with someone like her. She really was a huge part of our wedding celebrations and us having a day filled with pure magic. I cannot recommend her enough!

ake sure that you are as comfortable & having as much fun as possible during your photo sessions! As hectic and crazy as our wedding day was, Lindley was the best to walk through that day with. She made sure we had moments for just us, whether it was solo or together. She has a great eye for capturing the most stylistic and contemporary pictures--you literally feel like you get your own Vogue photo spread. As crazy as the day was, it was awesome to watch Lindley work, not just with styling our day of details but with our entire vendor team. She had no issues jumping right in with all of our wedding vendors and helped to make the day as seamless for us as possible. What I loved about working with Lindley is that she gives you beautiful images capturing all the right details but in the most creative ways. But with that in mind, the photos are creative but also TIMELESS. Wedding trends come and go but her photographic style is so timeless that I know that we will love our photos in 5, 10, or 40 years from now and not feel any regret. I loved that I could easily reach out to her via her portal, email, AND TEXT!! She made herself so available to me whenever I had questions or needed some expert feedback despite an incredibly crazy wedding season during COVID! For example, we were late in getting our wedding site up and wanted to get some engagement photos done with her for the site; originally her calendar was full for the dates we wanted (we didn't give her too much notice) but she reached back out to me saying she moved some things around and could make an engagement session work in the timeframe we needed! This was so helpful for us as we were going to go with a photoless wedding site, otherwise. But overall the best thing about working with Lindley was the fact that she is sooooooo nice and easy to talk to. She can give you so much information on photography but also get real with you and makes you feel like you've been friends forever! This is so important because taking photos in general is awkward, you need someone with a great eye but also makes you feel comfortable and at ease so that your charm and happiness are captured in the pictures. Lindley even went above and beyond to help recommend additional vendors and little details for our special day. 11/10 could not recommend more!
