Lindsey is such a pro, she essentially helped me every step of my wedding day and effortlessly and compassionately directed my family, bridal party, and other vendors. I don't know how she does it. I have recommended her to all of my friends who have gotten married after me and all of them have adored working with her and their photos are the envy of all our friends. Book her now if you can get lucky enough to get her on your date!

On our wedding day, she was quick to wrangle my very large family for a group photo, and was organized in getting the pictures I had requested with friends, etc. But best of all, Lindsey is SO FUN! You will spend a lot of your wedding day with your photographer so best to hire someone as fun and personable as Lindsey. We are IN LOVE with every photo she captured of our day. She took the usual posed pictures, but, best of all, she took candid photos and photos which really captured the most special moments we will remember forever.

really capturing the emotion of the day, I loved all of the candids! While we didn’t meet Lindsey prior to our wedding day, we became comfortable with her very quickly. She was professional in the way that she asked us if we wanted certain poses, and also worked with our videographer to make sure they both got great shots! Lindsey turned around our sneak peek almost instantly, and we were obsessed! Now that we have received our full gallery (almost 1000 photos!) I am extremely happy with the results and our decision to hire the Billings. It is clear she is passionate about what she is doing, hope to see her again in the future at our friends events :)

Here's why: 1) Throughout the (very long, COVID-complicated) planning process, Lindsey checked in regularly, shifting to accommodate a postponement and a major downsizing of guests. 2) During the event, Lindsey and Brandon fit in perfectly. We had so much fun with them, they felt like party guests. They kept the energy light and stress-free, plus they read and matched our goofiness, and you can see it in our photos. 3) In particular, Lindsey did a great job of directing my sister, whose disabilities make her a little tricky to photograph. No problem for Lindsey. 4) The photos are simply amazing. They perfectly capture our celebration. We can't believe we get to keep them forever. Thank you, Billings!!!

Lindsey was easy to call/text/email changes, was understanding about wanting to change our date and package, and even listened to me vent on the phone (constantly telling me she would make it beautiful)! The day of Lindsey arrived early, was super relaxing to talk to, but was also assertive in telling us how to stand and keeping us on time. By the end of the day I felt like we were great friends! I can’t say enough great things about Lindsey because she was amazing to work with! She even sent us a sneak peak of 100 photos within a week of the wedding- all of which were beautiful (all our family and friends also agree)!! Thank you, Lindsey!!

ur engagement and wedding. There are so many little moments you may not see during your wedding, but somehow she manages to catch them all. When your parents hold hands during the prayer, or when your brother sheds a tear during the vows. Seriously, the magic of reliving your day over and over is indescribable and invaluable. And she is so fun to be around - like I wanna be friends in real life. she made group photos super real and goofy and candid. they were all perfect. I don't have enough good things to say about her. its been almost 5 months since the wedding and I still haven't made my photo album because I just can't decide between all the photos, they're all just SO DAMN GOOD. If you do one thing right for your wedding, other than saying yes to the love of your life, book The Billings!

to our engagement so we weren't actively looking for photographers, we just noticed how well they worked together. Once we were engaged, we knew we needed them to be part of our big day and booked them right away! Our Engagement session was so fun, it was like hanging out with a friend who knew exactly what we wanted our photos to look like (us, only better, haha). They were so easy to communicate with through the entire process that by the time our wedding day rolled around, we were so comfortable with them the photos felt effortless. They even know all the tricks to wrangle stray family members and distracted children to capture perfect posed photos and can read the room to not miss a fantastic candid opportunity. We can't recommend them enough.

ment shoot (in BOSTON - they're willing to work with you and travel, which meant so much to us!), we felt totally comfortable and had a ton of fun. At our wedding, they captured everything so well without feeling like they were there or in the way, and we've received tons of compliments on the photos. We had a minor unexpected event come up, and they were incredibly professional about it - contacting us immediately, telling us exactly what the plan was to make sure it didn't affect our wedding, and on our wedding day, it turned out perfectly. At no point did we ever get less than 110% from these guys. It was the least stressful, most boring hiccup in the history of wedding planning, in the best possible way. For photo quality - I'm a designer. My job is literally to sort through photos and find the best possible stuff out of any given stack. I am (unapologetically) incredibly picky about photography. For two years, I did almost nothing but pick wedding photos, and trust me, I have seen it ALL - the good, the bad, the cringeworthy. Lindsey and Brandon are both incredibly talented and have a true knack for composition, natural lighting, and capturing honest emotion. Even in posed family photos, you can literally feel the joy. We're going to treasure these forever, and I would not hesitate to say these guys are the best in Michigan, and for their niche, among the best I've seen across the country. I know a good photographer when I see one. Not only are these guys good - with their awesome personality and willingness to work out travel, they're GREAT. If you are looking for journalistic style, naturally lit (no flash), genuine photography, these are your photographers, period. We're incredibly happy and grateful to have found them, and I won't hesitate to recommend them to anyone who will listen to me blather on about how great they are. :)

their presence was felt throughout the whole day yet they were there because they captured nearly every moment with quality photos. They also made sure that my bride and I had some time to step away from the reception to take sunset photos that were absolutely fantastic!
