Lindsey was an absolute pleasure to work with! We are not the most comfortable in front of the camera but she made everything feel and look so natural! Our pictures are absolutely stunning and something we will cherish forever! Couldn’t have asked for a better photographer!! We feel so lucky to have gotten to work with her! Hiring Lindsey was hands down the best decision I made about my wedding. She is incredibly talented and she captured so many little special moments in our day in addition to the big important ones. Our only problem was trying to pick a favorite picture- there were just too many favorites! Lindsey is such a pro, she essentially helped me every step of my wedding day and effortlessly and compassionately directed my family, bridal party, and other vendors. I don't know how she does it. I have recommended her to all of my friends who have gotten married after me and all of them have adored working with her and their photos are the envy of all our friends. Book her now if you can get lucky enough to get her on your date!

I can’t recommend Lindsey enough! She and Amanda shot our wedding last weekend and played such an important part in our day. They did so much to make sure the day was going as we wanted it to, including making everyone feel comfortable taking photos, making sure we were as on schedule as possible, coordinating other vendors when needed, making sure all the shots we wanted were taken, and just hyping everyone up. Overall, would choose Lindsey again 100x over because of her photography skill and personality combo that makes the day just that much more fun. Already got back our sneak peak and we are so thankful for the way in which she captured our memories of our day❤️

Working with Lindsey for our engagement and wedding was so much fun, and she did such an incredible job - from making us feel comfortable in front of the camera to fast gallery turn around times and helpful planning tools for the wedding day itself - she captures all the beautiful moments of your day with so much talent. She is kind, quick to respond, helps keep you on schedule, listens to what you want and does her best to capture all of it, creative, arrives early, and is just such a pleasure to work with all around. 10000/10 would recommend hiring her for your wedding or any photography you need!

Lindsey was just amazing! My husband and I are not used to being photographed or in the spot light and she made us feel so comfortable. I've only gotten the sneak peek photos so far and they are stunning. Her and her assistant Meg, did such a good job. Our bridal party couldn't stop raving about how amazing they were! She was great at communication, listened to what we wanted, and was super flexible adding an additional hour the day of the wedding. I also highly recommend doing an engagement shoot. Photographs are such an important part of your wedding and we couldn't be happier with our choice of hiring Lindsey!

Of all the vendors we hired for our wedding day, The Billings were by far my favorite! Lindsey is simply the best! We first met her at our engagement shoot and I instantly fell in love with her approach to picture-taking. She guided us through posing without making it feel awkward and without making it feel like we were actually posing for pictures. On our wedding day, she was quick to wrangle my very large family for a group photo, and was organized in getting the pictures I had requested with friends, etc. But best of all, Lindsey is SO FUN! You will spend a lot of your wedding day with your photographer so best to hire someone as fun and personable as Lindsey. We are IN LOVE with every photo she captured of our day. She took the usual posed pictures, but, best of all, she took candid photos and photos which really captured the most special moments we will remember forever.

Lindsey photographed our wedding this summer (along with Kirby) and she was absolutely fantastic from day one when we signed on thru to the very end of the wedding night reception. We truly cannot say thank you enough for the absolutely gorgeous engagement photos that have been used over and over again. The wedding photos themselves are better than we ever hoped, and I truly (as sad as it is) love going thru them and reliving each and every special moment! Lindsey always put us at ease, and managed to capture even the most candid moments in a way that is truly special. Thanks to Lindsey we will always have proof of how magical that day was! Thank you!

I originally reached out to Lindsey as she was recommended by our venue, Zingerman’s Cornman Farms. When I reached out to her, she was very sweet, and sent us other galleries from our venue to see her style. She is unique in that she focuses on really capturing the emotion of the day, I loved all of the candids! While we didn’t meet Lindsey prior to our wedding day, we became comfortable with her very quickly. She was professional in the way that she asked us if we wanted certain poses, and also worked with our videographer to make sure they both got great shots! Lindsey turned around our sneak peek almost instantly, and we were obsessed! Now that we have received our full gallery (almost 1000 photos!) I am extremely happy with the results and our decision to hire the Billings. It is clear she is passionate about what she is doing, hope to see her again in the future at our friends events :)

If you're looking for a wedding photographer in Southeast Michigan, look no further. Lindsey and Brandon are as good as it gets. We haven't even seen all our photos from the event (just a sneak peak), and we feel fully prepared to leave a 5 star review. We'd give them even more stars if we could. Here's why: 1) Throughout the (very long, COVID-complicated) planning process, Lindsey checked in regularly, shifting to accommodate a postponement and a major downsizing of guests. 2) During the event, Lindsey and Brandon fit in perfectly. We had so much fun with them, they felt like party guests. They kept the energy light and stress-free, plus they read and matched our goofiness, and you can see it in our photos. 3) In particular, Lindsey did a great job of directing my sister, whose disabilities make her a little tricky to photograph. No problem for Lindsey. 4) The photos are simply amazing. They perfectly capture our celebration. We can't believe we get to keep them forever. Thank you, Billings!!!

Lindsey was an absolute joy to work with. I used her for both my engagement pictures and on my wedding day. She really makes a effort to connect with her clients which pays off majorly. My husband and I are both camera shy and awkward in front of the camera, but Lindsey was able to make us laugh and feel very comfortable for the staged photos while also snapping some incredibly special candid photos. During our wedding, she blended perfectly with the guests, she didn’t feel or look out of place. Unless I was chatting and laughing with her, I didn’t notice her at all. The photos she captured are not only beautiful, but they’re some of my most precious memories. I would highly recommend The Billings for any of your photography needs.

Lindsey Billings was wonderful to work with! From the beginning of booking her, Lindsey made the entire wedding vendor experience a great one. We changed our wedding date three different times, and on the third changed the venue and reduced the guest count down 150 people (due to Covid). Lindsey was easy to call/text/email changes, was understanding about wanting to change our date and package, and even listened to me vent on the phone (constantly telling me she would make it beautiful)! The day of Lindsey arrived early, was super relaxing to talk to, but was also assertive in telling us how to stand and keeping us on time. By the end of the day I felt like we were great friends! I can’t say enough great things about Lindsey because she was amazing to work with! She even sent us a sneak peak of 100 photos within a week of the wedding- all of which were beautiful (all our family and friends also agree)!! Thank you, Lindsey!!

Lindsey and Jeanne were amazing! Our pictures came out beautiful they did a great job catching every special moment. Lindsey was so amazing with everything, they helped us every step of the way. So happy! We got married March 14, 2020 right before the state shut down due to COVID Lindsey and Jeanne hung in there with us and was so supportive!

Hiring The Billings as our wedding photographer was THE BEST choice we could have made. Lindsey was a joy to work with - she was fun, well organized, timely, and professional. She captured all of our requested shots and was a really fun part of our day. We received 60+ pictures as a sneak peek only days after the wedding and the rest came within the stated timeline. WE LOVE THEM! Highly recommended!!

If I could give more than 5 stars I would, Lindsey is an incredibly talented photographer AND the coolest. She captured our day so perfectly, when we look at our photos it still feels like yesterday. Lindsey Billings and her team are so amazing! We first met Lindsey during our engagement photos, and she was so sweet and kind. Lindsey is absolutely AMAZING! You're honestly missing out if you don't book her to shoot your wedding. She made it beyond easy to feel comfortable in front of the camera, and we both are totally obsessed with all the photos we got back from our engagement and wedding. There are so many little moments you may not see during your wedding, but somehow she manages to catch them all. When your parents hold hands during the prayer, or when your brother sheds a tear during the vows. Seriously, the magic of reliving your day over and over is indescribable and invaluable. And she is so fun to be around - like I wanna be friends in real life. she made group photos super real and goofy and candid. they were all perfect. I don't have enough good things to say about her. its been almost 5 months since the wedding and I still haven't made my photo album because I just can't decide between all the photos, they're all just SO DAMN GOOD. If you do one thing right for your wedding, other than saying yes to the love of your life, book The Billings!

The Billings are AMAZING! From start to finish they were so fun and easy to work with not to mention extremely thoughtful and organized. We met The Billings at a friend's wedding we attended last year and were able to watch them in action prior to our engagement so we weren't actively looking for photographers, we just noticed how well they worked together. Once we were engaged, we knew we needed them to be part of our big day and booked them right away! Our Engagement session was so fun, it was like hanging out with a friend who knew exactly what we wanted our photos to look like (us, only better, haha). They were so easy to communicate with through the entire process that by the time our wedding day rolled around, we were so comfortable with them the photos felt effortless. They even know all the tricks to wrangle stray family members and distracted children to capture perfect posed photos and can read the room to not miss a fantastic candid opportunity. We can't recommend them enough.

Lindsey and Brandon are the BEST!!! They were so great to work with. They felt like lifelong friends...which totally helped us to feel at ease during our big day! They helped out in any way possible, from helping with the time line, to remembering things that we may have forgotten, to spraying static guard on the ladies dresses!

Lindsey and Brandon are incredible, seriously. My husband and I are fellow nerds, and we've said countless times: we could not have found a more perfect photographer for us. Neither of us are great in front of a camera, but during our engagement shoot (in BOSTON - they're willing to work with you and travel, which meant so much to us!), we felt totally comfortable and had a ton of fun. At our wedding, they captured everything so well without feeling like they were there or in the way, and we've received tons of compliments on the photos. We had a minor unexpected event come up, and they were incredibly professional about it - contacting us immediately, telling us exactly what the plan was to make sure it didn't affect our wedding, and on our wedding day, it turned out perfectly. At no point did we ever get less than 110% from these guys. It was the least stressful, most boring hiccup in the history of wedding planning, in the best possible way. For photo quality - I'm a designer. My job is literally to sort through photos and find the best possible stuff out of any given stack. I am (unapologetically) incredibly picky about photography. For two years, I did almost nothing but pick wedding photos, and trust me, I have seen it ALL - the good, the bad, the cringeworthy. Lindsey and Brandon are both incredibly talented and have a true knack for composition, natural lighting, and capturing honest emotion. Even in posed family photos, you can literally feel the joy. We're going to treasure these forever, and I would not hesitate to say these guys are the best in Michigan, and for their niche, among the best I've seen across the country. I know a good photographer when I see one. Not only are these guys good - with their awesome personality and willingness to work out travel, they're GREAT. If you are looking for journalistic style, naturally lit (no flash), genuine photography, these are your photographers, period. We're incredibly happy and grateful to have found them, and I won't hesitate to recommend them to anyone who will listen to me blather on about how great they are. :)

They were so awesome! Lindsey and her husband Brandon were such personable and fun to work with and were also very professional. They were very accommodating for last minute additions to our photograph personnel combinations. I didn't feel like their presence was felt throughout the whole day yet they were there because they captured nearly every moment with quality photos. They also made sure that my bride and I had some time to step away from the reception to take sunset photos that were absolutely fantastic! I highley recommend them for anyone looking for photographers.
