Lindsey does absolutely amazing work! She captures moments in such vivid colors and with such an artistic presentation. Lindsey is very professional and also a lot of fun. She did our engagement photo session and our wedding. I can't say enough great things about Lindsey!

Lindsey is a dream to work with! She recently did my boudoir shoot, and I could not be happier with the pictures. I expected it to be super awkward an uncomfortable to take pictures, but it was everything but that. If you are thinking about hiring Lindsey for your photos, do yourself a favor and book her. I am so incredibly happy we went with Lindsey as our wedding photographer. I was one of those brides who was extremely picky about my photos and making sure that they turned out perfectly. When I searched for photographers in the Austin area, I came across Lindsey’s portfolio and was instantly mesmerized. Her photos stood out as breathtaking, magical pieces of art. Each one told a beautiful, candid love story that made you fall in love with their love. Her photos weren’t just your typical formal wedding pics, nor did she have any extremely cheesy or dumb poses, e.g. the bride & her bridesmaids holding their bouquets in front of their faces (my worst wedding pet peeve)! I showed my husband her work, and he was instantly hooked as well. When I met her for the first time, I was very nervous because I had so many requests for our photos and I’m sure it came across as super bridezilla. Nonetheless, Lindsey was super cool and collective throughout our meeting. She was open to all my ideas and got me even more excited for our wedding. One week before the big day, it was forecasted to rain on our wedding. I can not tell you how many meltdowns I had in those 7 days. I cried and cried, fearing that I was not going to get the pictures I wanted at our venue (which I mostly chose based on the outdoor balconies and how it looked in the sun). I told Lindsey about my concerns, and she responded immediately. She not only helped me try to look at the positive side of things (i.e. overcast sky= best lighting for pics, a chance for cool rain and umbrella pics, etc), she was also extremely on top of it, preparing for the worst and coming up with a game plan if rain was still an issue. That day when the stars did not align for sunny weather, she just worked with it, fitting in outdoor pictures in between the intermittent showers while opting to take more indoor pictures. Lindsey was extremely calm throughout that day; I think this is so important to have on your wedding, especially if things don’t go as planned (which I now know happens 99% of the time)! I was actually extremely nervous awaiting our pics, largely because I was worried how the rainy pics came out, and how I looked -- I was absolutely certain I wasn’t going to be as beautiful as I was hoping to be due to the rain messing up my hair and makeup! When I saw our pictures, my jaw dropped at how GORGEOUS they came out. It was more beautiful than I had ever expected. All the indoor pictures turned out phenomenal, and even the outdoor pics were still just as pretty. She also did an AH-MA-ZING job capturing all the candid moments. I think those were by far my favorite pics, because they showed not only how fun and wonderful our wedding was, but how truly happy I was that day! And not only that, I felt beautiful in all the pics :) Despite me feeling like nothing went right that day, I realized after looking at our pics that this was in fact the best day ever! Our wedding was SO much more intimate and full of love because everyone bonded and cozied up more from the rain. Lindsey’s pictures reflected all that love, and I am so grateful for her for that. Everyone has consistently told me how beautiful all my pictures came out, and one of my friends even asked me if Lindsey could fly out to California for her upcoming wedding! If you want beautiful pieces of art for your wedding photos, Lindsey is hands down the #1 photographer to have! You will not regret it!

At first, I was very hesitant about doing a boudoir shoot, but I knew that my husband really wanted me to do it. So I started looking, until I stumbled upon Lindsey's Yelp! page. Between the reviews and photos on her site, I was sold immediately. Lindsey was amazing in every sense of the word. She understood exactly the look I was going for. I am not a very bootylicious girl, but she knows how to pose you in the ways most flattering to your body type/shape. She was very professional while still being very down to earth. We literally flew through the photoshoot as well, and I ended up with so many beautiful images. I would recommend her to everyone.

I don't even know where to begin with Lindsey... She made me and my husband feel like we were worthy of being in a magazine. The quality of her work is just phenomenal. We bought the whole package with her and it included SOOOOOO much! we got engagement with a guest sign in book, bridal portraits, a bridal book, rehearsal dinner coverage, and 8 hour wedding day coverage. You get so much more than your moneys worth. She is a dream to work with. Cody and I felt like she was our best friend. You can tell she loves what she is doing and it translates into her work. I would recommend her to absolutely everyone. She should be a preferred vendor everywhere in Austin.

I've known Lindsey since we were little girls and my family and I could not be happier that she was able to do our wedding photography! Words can not describe how beautiful the photos are....only the photos themselves can do that! Lindsey is so sweet and fun and creative and awesome and patient. Her artistic ability is beyond amazing. And I can go on and on and on, but you get the point :) If you are in the Austin area, book her for sure. But she does travel as well!!! You've got to hurry up because she's a busy woman and her schedule fills up fast!

Super sweet, kept me calm when things started getting crazy (you can tell she works with brides all the time) When it came to group shots she was too the point and doesn't mess around. I utilized Lindsey Thorne as the photographer in my wedding and I must say that it was a pleasure working with her. She captured every aspect of my wedding to pure perfection. After reflecting on my BIG day, I took a look at the photographs taken by Lindsey and I felt as though I was re-living my wedding. I've always believed that pictures are the most important part of any celebration because they are a reflection of what transpired during that celebratory day. Lindsey has the ability of capturing those moments for you and depicting them just as you would envision them in your mind. Lindsey is a true artist, and an amazingly collaborative and warm person to work with. I did a boudoir session with her and will be advocating for all of my girl friends to call her for a session when the time is right for them. She made me feel extremely comfortable throughout the entire process, and had some of the most amazingly creative ideas. Once the photos were taken and it was time to create the actual album she was sonderfully open to my (many - I'm sure annoying) requests about which shots to use and how to format the pages. When I was planning my wedding, I met with many, many photographers. I knew exactly the look I wanted and after meeting with Lindsey, I knew right away I wanted her to shoot my wedding. I loved her style and knew she was the right phtpgrpher for us. We wanted our shots to be unique and not just typical boring wedding shots, Lindsey is very creative and has a great eye. I love my wedding photos, I feel like they look like they came right out of a magazine spread! She shot my boudoir photos before the wedding as well. Loved the way they came out! She is also very personable, easy to get along with, which is something I wanted as well. I knew I'd be with her all day the day of the wedding and wanted someone I was comfortable with. Basically.....Lindsey rocks!!!

Lindsey was an amazing wedding photographer. I loved working with her and her explosion of energy. She is funny and considerate; she helped to lighten mood everywhere she was. She is very easy to talk to and good at communication. Not only that, she an alright, okay, INCREDIBLE photographer. She immediately went to work on my photos so I had a little snapshot of what she did before I left for my honeymoon. I don't think I'll be looking for another wedding photographer any time soon, but if I did, I'd know where to look.

After all is said and done and the one day of your wedding is over, the most important thing you can take with you are the memories. Lindsey captured every single piece of our wedding, including every emotion we felt throughout that special day. We can't thank her enough for how much joy she has brought us and for how much work she put into our engagement, wedding and boudoir shoots. Lindsey does not just take photos, she creates pieces of art keeping every last detail in mind. Our photos are all pieces of art that we will cherish forever. We are so blessed to know Lindsey and that she was able to be a BIG part of our wedding. I sill have people telling me that our pictures are the best they have ever seen and how perfect they showed our style and personality. A friend just the other day said to me, "Wow, those aren't the kind of photos you store under your bed in an album for years, You keep those out to show off and look at everyday!" We would recommend Lindsey to anyone and everyone as she is an absolute pleasure to work with and extremely talented at what she does. :)

My husband, Mike and I had Lindsey shoot our wedding. She was absolutely amazing. She captured the entire essence of our day, from the small details to the most fabulous candids (which was no easy feat considering our bridal party was 20 people large). No area was off limits- She was up in the rafters, laying on the ground, all to get her shots. She even helped coordinate the flow while we were getting ready in the bridal suite. Lindsey was punctual and even stayed a little late to ensure she was able to shoot the end of the night. I can honestly say our wedding would not have been the same without her efforts. When I saw our proofs, I was floored. I've never been one to like pictures of myself but Lindsey made me look and feel beautiful. She's an artist, a professional and such a sweet person. I've recommended her to everyone I know and hope to have an occasion in the future to have her do the photography. Five stars all around!

Hiring Lindsey as our photographer was by far the best decision we made while planning our wedding. She is extremely professional, very approachable and an absolute joy to work with. It was extremely important for us to find someone who wasn’t just going to take beautiful pictures of a non-traditional wedding, but someone who really got what we were doing and understood the image and style we were trying to present. From the day we first spoke with her, her genuine enthusiasm for what we were doing made it clear we needed to meet with her and once we did, we both walked out of the meeting saying how much we loved her and that we had definitely found our photographer. In addition to our wedding, Lindsey shot our engagement photos and my boudoir shoot and throughout all of it, we had nothing but wonderful things to say about her and her work. I think the best advice I got when planning the wedding was “the only thing you walk away from this wedding with is a spouse and your photos, so make sure you love your photographer”, and we are truly grateful to have found someone that was able to give us such incredible images to look back on for the rest of our lives.
