Lindsey went above and beyond expectations for both our wedding and our engagement photos, in 2020 and 2019 respectively. Upon my first meeting with Lindsey, we immediately connected and she put every one of my fears to rest. Not only is she extremely talented, she is also a fun, down to earth, and very real person. She puts the needs of her clients at the top of her list in every way, and we saw that multiple times throughout working with her. My husband does not love taking photos, nor does he like how he looks in them, but Lindsey's expertise in angles, nontraditional posing, and editing made him fall in love with our engagement photos which put his mind as ease about our wedding day photos as well. Needless to say, Lindsey was extremely helpful, kind, and energetic on our very hectic wedding day and all the days leading up to it (during all the covid madness). Additionally, she was always very communicative and timely answering any questions and all album deliveries. We loved our time working with LZP and hope to be photographed by her again soon!

Lindsey is truly amazing…I can’t even begin to say how much she truly made our wedding day one of the most memorable days of our lives! We were able to develop a friendship with Lindsey right from the start when she took our engagement photos in February. She made us feel so comfortable in front of the camera and ensured we had fun with it (despite the freezing temperatures!), while also getting such creative and unique shots. She carried this same energy into our wedding day and immediately took charge, executed on her vision, and helped us in so many ways beyond just photography. It felt like we were hanging out with an old friend all day, which made everything so fun and enjoyable. She literally gave me the coat off her back to help make outdoor pictures in the November chill a little more bearable. She’s hilarious, passionate, creative, professional, and one of the best decisions we made for our wedding day!

Lindsey was one of the absolute BEST vendors of our wedding!! She came as a suggestion from our wedding planners, and after talking with her and learning her "dark and moody" vibe, we immediately clicked. She is incredibly down-to-earth, personable, and flexible - it was so easy to communicate with her, especially not being in her home base of Pittsburgh. We opted for a package that included engagement photos, and Lindsey was more than willing to travel out to us in Philadelphia to capture these in some of our favorite spots. We loved her excitement in shooting in a new location and we loved being able to meet her before our big day! Leading up to the actual wedding (which was in Pittsburgh), Lindsey was so transparent and communicative with us, making sure she knew all of our goals, timelines, etc. On the wedding day, she and her second shooter did a fantastic job of capturing all our key moments in an efficient manner and without being flashy / disruptive to all the events - a skill not mastered by many! But the most important thing to comment about for Lindsey is the quality of her work - all the photos she took perfectly captured our relationship in a natural and fun way. She was willing to go with flow with our requests for our engagement photos (including going to our favorite restaurant for some shots), and the products were spectacular. For the wedding day, she was no different - we love all the laughing candid photos, and her ability to capture some of the most intimate and special moments of not just us but our guests and family was truly amazing. We still look back at our photos with amazement, and Lindsey's work allows us to relish in the magic of the day for months and years to come. We are so glad A&L Events introduced us to Lindsey, and we would HIGHLY recommend her for anyone looking for a down-to-earth, efficient, skilled, and natural photographer!

Lindsey is the most amazing photographer. We hired her in early 2019 after we got engaged & she did our engagement photos. When COVID forced us to postpone our wedding multiple times, Lindsey worked with us to secure new dates, ultimately taking our elopement photos and our reception photos nearly a year later. In addition to being a photographer, Lindsey went above and beyond on our wedding day. Not only does she take completely beautiful photos that we can’t stop looking at, but she also helped us by running boutonnières, steaming my veil, and generally keeping things moving. She is completely professional at all times, but Lindsey and her second photographer are so personable and kind that it feels like we have known them forever. That made us entirely comfortable during those group photos that can feel kind of awkward but weren’t. Her photos are returned in a timely fashion as well, and are a great mix of candid and posed. I cannot recommend Lindsey Zern enough for your wedding photographer needs.

Lindsey is seriously so fun to work with! Each time we were with her we genuinely had so much fun, and it shows in our photo. From our engagement shoot with her last fall to our September 25, 2021 wedding, Lindsey was very interested and involved in our planning every step of the way, and really took the time to get to know us to make the most out of our sessions. Lindsey is also very transparent and up front, there were no surprises and our contract outlined everything very clearly. I definitely recommend her and her work, a few of our ‘sneak peek’ photos are attached and I am in love with them!

Lindsey was the photographer for our wedding, and she did an amazing job! She has a wonderful eye for getting classy shots with just the right artsy touch. We were a bit nervous about being in front of the lens, but Lindsey quickly had us laughing and at ease. Both Lindsey and her second shooter Abigail were professional and on-point on the day of our wedding. Abigail even helped the groomsmen figure out how to put their boutonnieres on :) Thanks so much for making our day amazing, the photos are incredible!

Lindsey was absolutely fabulous from start to finish. I fell in love with her style and creativity, so she was an essential vendor for our wedding. Starting with our engagement photos, she made us feel really comfortable in front of the camera, even though we never had professional pictures taken before. She made us do things that made us feel silly, but the results were always incredible. We were able to fully trust her and were confident that our photos would be perfect on our wedding day. She is so much fun, incredibly organized, and very professional. I can't give enough praise to Lindsey because she was so, so amazing!!! Highly recommend!!

Throughout the process of wedding planning, I was most worried about getting my photo taken because it makes me so nervous. Lindsey changed everything for us! She made us feel so comfortable, she was so fun and profession and my god her photos reflected that! They are GORGEOUS!!!! I’m blown away, it truly reflects the amazing time we had at our wedding. We will be friends for a long time!!!

I don't even know where to start. Lindsey is honestly INCREDIBLE! From our very first meeting to our wedding day, she went above and beyond anything that I could have expected. I am not the best in front of a camera and she made me feel so comfortable and got so many beautiful shots for our day. We have a huge family and were afraid that we wouldn't get everything we needed because of everyone being all over the place and our short time in Heinz Chapel. Lindsey had everyone in order and got it taken care of in minutes! So we were able to get all of the extra shots that we wanted of just us. She made the whole day such a fun and STRESS FREE experience. On top of that, she had a ton of photos ready for us to view the next morning after the wedding! I would book her ten times over! If you do anything for your wedding day, be sure to have Lindsey there! You will not regret it!

Lindsey was wonderful to work with. From the time we met for our engagement session, she made us feel so comfortable in front of the camera and the pictures looked amazing! On our wedding day, she helped to develop a timeline that worked perfectly and allowed plenty of time to get all of the bridal party and family pictures that we wanted in a short period of time. We both had complicated family situations and Lindsey kept thing light and moving easily as we got our family pictures. We were married 2 weeks ago and already have a sneak peak gallery and our thrilled with how the pictures form the day turned out! We can't wait to see the rest!!

I don't know if there are enough good things to say about Lindsey! My husband and I were married in October at Succop Nature Park and had the great pleasure of working with Lindsey for our wedding photography. She was able to capture our day - every special moment - incredible details - expressions on our faces and our guests - telling the story of our wonderful day. I cannot image working with anyone else. The entire process planning, meeting with Lindsey, scheduling, talking about details, everything went flawlessly. She is professional, kind, supportive, and all around wonderful! Not to mention she is INCREDIBLY talented! The second shooter Lindsey brought was also wonderful and talented! I would give Lindsey Zern Photography 10 stars if I could!

We could not have asked for a better photographer than Lindsey for our special day! We worked with Lindsey for both our engagement and wedding photos, and the pictures beautifully captured our memories. Lindsey was incredibly patient with us and our bridal party, and she balanced taking our photos while also letting us enjoy our event. She is professional, thoughtful, and has a presence and positivity that is contagious. Lindsey made us feel comfortable throughout the process, and she is an extremely talented photographer. We were so incredibly pleased with our experience working with Lindsey. I never love the way I look in photos and was nervous about having so many taken on my wedding day, but the end result was amazing and I am so excited and proud to show the images to my family and friends. Lindsey was wonderful with my extended family, ready and available to every random shot we ended up wanting, and so helpful with making sure our day went smoothly. I would highly recommend her to anyone!

If you want a photographer who is going to celebrate with you, capture your dream wedding, and get all the shots you are hoping for hire Lindsey. She is a genuine, kind, and hardworking soul that loves photography. She wants make sure you day is captured well and in all it's entirety. Lindsey was quick to response and is extremely flexible. Even in my most stressful moments she worked hard to assure me that it was her job to capture the day and my job to just enjoy it. My husband is not a fan of having photos taken of him and Lindsey did a great job of helping him to feel relaxed and care for. She knows how to help the couple interact to capture stunning photos. Her prices are reasonable in my opinion- she does fantastic work and I think she should charge more but she wants to make it affordable for her clients. If you have the chance to hire her. DO IT! You won't regret it:)

Lindsey is fantastic! We don't normally like photos of ourselves and without someone to do my makeup for me I was a little nervous about how I'd feel having my picture taken ALL DAY at my wedding. But Lindsey is seriously a magician with her camera. She showed us a few pictures after she took them so we could see how they were looking and I was in love before they were even edited! She's got the style I've always loved and after seeing quite a few edited pictures now, I know that everyone who sees them is going to be asking me about my photographer. Super easy to work with, super fast, and definitely someone I'd recommend to anyone and everyone needing a photographer. If I could have chosen literally any photographer on any budget, I'd still have chosen Lindsey! We moved our initial "first choice" wedding date JUST so we could have her be the one to take our pictures.

Lindsey is the best ever! We felt like we were old friends from the moment we met her. She's adventurous and willing to try anything to get the perfect shot! She's very personable and passionate about what she does! Highly recommend her!

Lindsey Zern photographed our wedding on October 1, 2016. Our photos are gorgeous, we received them ahead of schedule, and Lindsey is amazing to work with! Lindsey is very detailed, organized, and made an effort to get to know us. She even came to our house for a meeting because it was more convenient for us. She made sure to capture what was most important to us and ensured nothing on our list was forgotten. When our timeline was off track the day of the wedding, she helped us get back on track. It started raining during our outside bridal party photos, and Lindsey completely took control. She made she sure we got our top shots of the bridal party, and then moved on to our bride and groom photos. Her vision was spectacular! My favorite shots are actually the ones of us in the rain. And, yes, we frolicked in the rain! Lindsey even provided us with an umbrella. She is always prepared! The pictures are simply amazing! The rain was actually short-lived so we brought the bridal party back out of the party bus to get more shots. Lindsey is flexible, goes with the flow, but keeps you on task at the same time. Quite a balance! You will not be disappointed with Lindsey!

Lindsey's ability to make two "non-photogenic" people look amazing in photos is simply a work of art. To be honest, the idea of having photo sessions for our engagement and wedding was not a high point for my (now) husband. But after the first few minutes with Lindsey during our engagement session, he quickly loosened up...She is very easy to work with and has a lot of creative ideas for helping to ensure you are in natural but beautiful poses. Our images are simply amazing and she certainly is one who has a natural eye for great shots. We are so pleased to be able to work with Lindsey and highly recommend her for any of your upcoming photo needs - - engagement, wedding, family, portrait, baby, etc. She'll certainly help to tell your story through beautiful images!

Lindsey Zern took our engagement photos and will also be shooting our wedding. She is a highly skilled photographer with a fantastic eye for details. Not only is a brilliant artist, but she is also a blast to work with! She is natural, easy-going, and made us feel so at ease - while also being more than willing to take our wild ideas and run with them! I can't give her a high enough recommendation.
