Lion + Tiger Band was the best decision my husband and I made when it came to the music at our wedding! From our first meeting with Jessica, we knew we were in for an incredible time with them. We were married on 10/8/22 at the Barn at Perona Farms and from the moment the ceremony started until the very last song of the night, EVERYONE was complimenting on this band! They were so tight and in sync, their voices were incredible, and their dedication to playing our requested songs was truly appreciated! Do yourself a favor and hire Lion+Tiger for your wedding, it'll be the best decision you make!! We fell in love with them the first time we met them and saw them perform, we hired them before we even had a venue set! We ended up having to change our wedding date several times, and they worked through everything with us so easily. They are incredibly talented and wonderful to work with. They made our wedding so special, absolutely nailed the special requests we asked them to play, and all of our guests are still raving that this was the best wedding band they'd ever seen. Jess was super responsive and listen to everything I was looking for. The band is increasing talented and kept literally everyone on the dance floor for the entire party. They can play anything. So awesome.

In June 2021 we hosted a wedding between my daughter Gina Bloshuk and her fiancé Matt Munns at Hotel LBI in New Jersey. The band performing at the wedding was Lion + Tiger. The evening began with some mood setting music during our cocktail hour on the veranda and just escalated from there. The food and drink were great but the band was outstanding. The dance floor rocked from just after dinner until closing at 11pm, no breaks. The diversity and selection of the music was so on target for the venue and the guests. The dance floor was jammed with guests having the best time of their lives. It was basically a concert held exclusively for the wedding and the reviews from each of the guests were Aces. If you’re shopping for a wedding band that kicks ass, look no further. In addition to the performers, the band came ready with lighting and sound professionals. So while the sound rocked, it wasn’t deafening to the point of aggravation. It was just right. You can’t go wrong with Lion + Tiger, sign them up !

Quite honestly, Lion + Tiger band made our wedding what it was: an event that is still being spoken about nearly four months later. Some guests said it was like going to a concert where they also happened to be served dinner. People danced NON STOP. The band was too good NOT to be on the dance floor. They play to every generation. Jess knows exactly what she’s doing and we are so happy we listened to her when she said “trust me, I know what we will play and what we will stay away from.” They are not you’re typical, run-of -the-mill wedding band by ANY means. My husband and I are so happy that we went with Lion and Tiger as our wedding band. As live music lovers, we had high expectations for a wedding band and I confidently can say that Lion and Tiger not only delivered on those expectations, but exceeded them. Not sure if its just because it was my wedding, but I actually think they are the best wedding band I've ever seen live. I can't recommend them enough! The entire process from hiring, to planning, to day of, was a breeze. Jessica is truly a delight to work with and made everything so easy. She was very knowledgeable about how to handle the schedule and festivities the night of and how to keep the energy with our guests high and keep them on the dance floor. You can also tell that every member of the band truly loves what they do and they all had a smile on their face the whole night. Our guests still won't stop raving about how good the band was! We just had Lion + Tiger perform at our wedding a couple weeks ago, and they were absolutely amazing. The dance floor was packed the entire time-our guests didn't sit down! They played great music that appealed to everyone. They had tons of energy and they were so much fun! Jessica also played guitar at our cocktail hour and it was beautiful. I worked directly with Nick and Jessica with all the planning, and they are probably some of the nicest people I have ever met. They are so professional and on top of everything. We have guests still asking who our band was because they were so impressed. It was one of the best decisions booking them!

By far the best wedding band I’ve ever heard, and I was lucky enough to have them for my special day! Lion and Tiger went above and beyond to make our wedding day special. Preforming at our ceremony and first dance song added such an intimate touch and preforming the best dancing music that brought the party to the reception. As a country music fan, I requested a few country songs to be performed at the wedding. Oh my goodness! They did an outstanding job, way better then it would have been from an ipod. AND this was the first time playing them at a wedding. The energy they put into performing got the crowd up and dancing all night. All our friends and family are still talking about how amazing of a band they are! I would highly recommend booking this band if your looking to dance your butt off at your wedding. Lion + Tiger rocked our wedding! I can't say enough good things about this band. Their performance was high energy, they sound awesome! They fulfilled everything you would hope for when hiring a live band for your wedding. But something that I will never forget is how Jess (lead female vocals) went above and beyond for me. Storytime: When it came time for my wedding reception I could not figure out my bustle. My dress had 7 layers of chiffon and tulle and God knows what else. My reception was starting without me and I still had a 4ft train behind me. I went out and did my first dance with my husband without bustling my dress. I couldn't move, I was stumbling over my dress and our first dance was not what I had imagined it to be. I was struggling when Jessica the female lead vocalist from Lion + Tiger came up to me and told me a story. She said "I just got married 6 months ago and could not figure out my bustle. The entire night my dress constricted my movements and I couldn't dance at my own reception." She grabbed me by the arms looked me dead in the eye and told me "cut that f*cker off". It was perfect. My husband and I are no nonsense people...I knew if I asked Eric what I should do he would say...cut that shit off and have a good time! But...I couldn't find anyone willing to cut the back of my wedding dress off. So I quietly excused myself. I ran and grabbed Jess. Together with Julie Hill (the wedding director at Architects) we snuck into the bridal suite, locked the door, and cut the back of my wedding dress off. Afterwards, I danced my ass off. I had so much fun at my wedding reception. And most of my guests just thought that I'd finally figured out my bustle. If it hadn't been for Jess caring enough to come give me a radical idea, my wedding would have been ruined. Jess saved my wedding. There aren't enough five star reviews in the world to explain how much this meant to me. These are the kind of people that you're hiring when you book Lion + Tiger. People that genuinely care about your experience and want you to have a good time. TLDR: Book Lion + Tiger you won't regret it.

Where to begin... Bottom line is that Lion + Tiger absolutely ROCKED the house and I can't recommend them enough!! The band sounded fantastic and I'm not exaggerating when I say everyone hit the dancefloor as soon as the "first dance" ended, and then never stopped until lights were up. They did a great job of reading what the crowd was responding to and playing songs that kept everyone dancing. (Our venue manager commented that it had been "many years" since she'd seen the dancefloor so full!) Jess and Nick were also so easy to work with leading up to the big day-- they answered all of our questions and easily accommodated our schedule of events for the evening, providing us and the venue with a detailed Run of Show to ensure that everyone was on the same page. They even learned a couple of songs for us, which made the day even more special. The music during the ceremony and cocktail hour was perfect as well-- beautiful and set the mood just right.

SPECTACULAR! Lion + Tiger was perfection -- even exceeding our expectations! Our guests are still RAVING about their non stop energetic performance. They played a great mix of new and old songs, alternating lead singers so the sound was always fresh. Our friends love to dance and L+T made sure they never got an opportunity to even consider leaving the dance floor by never taking a break themselves. L+T also played the music for the outdoor ceremony and cocktail hour. They do it all! They are organized, professional and just really nice FUN people.

Nick and Jess were INCREDIBLE! They were super easy to work with, accommodating on requests, and had my guests on the dance floor the entire night. When the wedding was over, people were devastated they couldn't dance anymore!!! From music during the ceremony and cocktail hour, to the reception, they were everything you'd ever want in a band.

We booked Lion + Tiger for our wedding at the Kolo Klub in Hoboken and they completely blew everyone away. We were a little nervous about our guests having a good time since we decided to have a cocktail style wedding and many of our guests weren’t familiar with this concept but the band easily set the tone of the wedding and created such an awesome atmosphere where everyone was having a blast and dancing all night. They are able to nail a wide range of genres in their own style that appealed to everyone by having 3 members that can sing differently. They also did sort of a “piano bar” style during cocktail hour which was great and they quickly had everyone dancing after the speeches. As the night unfolded and since the wedding, we have heard nothing but great reviews from our guests with the band being everyone’s highlight. They played their asses off (taking only one break for a 5 hour wedding) which is rare. If you’re considering booking Lion + Tiger for your wedding, you will not be disappointed!

I’ve known Jessica, the band’s guitarist and lead singer as well as Nick the band’s drummer for years so the day my fiancé and I got engaged we knew we had to get them booked for our wedding. They handled every aspect of our big day, including music for the ceremony. Having such a diverse group of talented musicians all assembled in one band gave us so many options throughout the day. Our guests were greeted by solo acoustic guitar as they arrived and enjoyed beautiful keyboards throughout the cocktail hour. The real fun started once the full band kicked in during the reception. Lion & Tiger’s set list is amazing and they kept our guests out of their seats and dancing all evening long. They made sure to play all the songs we had asked for along with the countless requests from our guests. My wife and I are already talking about throwing a party just so we can book them again. Trust me, you have to book this band…….

I couldn't be happier with our choice of band on our big day! Lion + Tiger showed up and absolutely rocked all night long. They had all of our guests on the dance floor for the entire event, it was exactly what we wanted. From the very beginning of our correspondence with Nick and Jess they were incredibly genuine. They wanted to make sure we were comfortable with what they offered and were very easy to work with. We had requested a special song for our first dance and they did not hesitate to learn it, they jumped at the opportunity. And they nailed it. Their song list is very well rounded, you'd be hard pressed to find a more diverse set list. They played everything we asked them to play and some. Above all, they are truly professionals, with the utmost respect and dedication to their art. They sounded amazing live and I look forward to having a reason to book them again in the future!

If you're looking for a modern wedding band that can keep your guests dancing all night long then you have to book Lion & Tiger! It was one of the best decisions we made for our wedding! We knew we wanted a band instead of a DJ because we really felt it elevated the energy of the reception. We considered a few bands, but felt that they were all too traditional for our venue (we got married at a vineyard). We found Lion & Tiger online and really liked their style and song list. We had an introduction call with Jess and Nick, and clicked with them immediately. A huge benefit of Lion & Tiger is that they provide all of the wedding music - ceremony, cocktail hour and reception, plus they have their own sound person (something I learned later that not all bands have). They provide all this at a completely reasonable rate. After booking them we went to two of their performances and knew right away we made the right decision. They were so fun and talented! Working with Jess and Nick on all the wedding lead up was very easy! They were highly organized. We decided on having acoustic guitar at our ceremony, a singer and keyboardist for cocktail hour and the full band at reception. We chose All of Me by John Legend for our processional, I walked down the aisle to A Thousand Years by Christina Perri and our Recessional was You Make My Dreams Come True by Hall & Oates. Another wonderfully accommodating thing the band did was to accompany my step-mother's solo on guitar. I really felt they went above and beyond doing that! The band also learned and played our first song. We chose Perfect by Ed Sheeran and had taken dance lessons to choreograph the first half of the song. We were nervous about dancing to live music because we weren't sure the timing would be the same as the recorded version, but it was perfect! We got SO many compliments on the band from our friends & family. They had the dance floor PACKED! I can't recommend them any more highly! Book them!!

They had every one of our guests out on the dance floor all night. They even learned a few of our family's favorite songs upon our request - and nailed every one of them! The Lion+Tiger band is INCREDIBLE! Seriously, if you are reading this, this is the band you want. Even you are leaning DJ, all I can say is I’ve been to many DJ weddings and ours was another level of fun. Not just for my wife and I; nearly all of our guests remarked about how our wedding was the most fun they have ever had at a wedding, which for us is what counts. From start to finish, Nick and Jess (the dynamic duo that head the band) were professional, easy and fun to talk to, and helped make sure we had the special day we always dreamed of. From fulfilling special requests during the reception, to mixing in surprises of their own, to the amazing acoustic set during the ceremony, to the low key set during cocktail hour, this band was absolutely excellent and went above and beyond every step of the way. We chose Lion+Tiger after seeing them live, as we were cautious to make sure we got the right band. While I’m sure they’d recommend you do that and meet them, I wouldn’t delay. They are the one. Hire them and make sure no one else books them for your night. They are 100% worth every penny of their rate, and I whole heartedly recommend you hire them ASAP for your next wedding. What an amazing band and an even better group of people! Leading up to our date Nick and Jess were so easy to work with and and such nice people (our wedding planner agreed to). Day of they took care of everything flawlessly and we were so happy with everything from the ceremony music to the cocktail hour to the reception. The band is super talented (they have 3 great singers!), played a great variety of music and really got our party going! We couldn't have asked for a better night, thanks everyone for being such a big part of it!

We discovered Lion and Tiger accidentally after perusing the internet for live bands to play at our wedding. We first heard their internet videos and were immediately impressed by the vocals and instrumentals that accompanied the singers. We wanted to hear them out to see if their videos online matched their live performances, as the acoustics may be different during an unrecorded version. My husband and I were pleasantly surprised that they sounded above and beyond any of their promo recordings they provide. The place we saw them play was jumping and everybody was on their feet grooving to the music Lion + Tiger was expelling from their amplifiers. We felt right there and then that this was the band that would make our magical night even more exciting and gives us the extra pop our friends would rave about for years to come. The band was extremely professional and organized when we met them at a cafe to discuss the itinerary and ceremonial music. They laid out the song tracks and even helped us orchestrate the line up of songs that would keep our event on track. The planning only took an hour and the performers were extremely efficient in time management. The day of the wedding Lion + Tiger was not only punctual but they showed up before anybody else, rehearsing and preparing their instruments for the live performance. The band had a stellar gig and outperformed even our wildest expectations. They had the whole party jumping and on their feet at all times and I am so thankful I went with a group that could really keep the memento and beat going throughout the night. I don't think I've ever danced so much and so enthusiastically as I did when Lion + Tiger performed. They are a treasure for sure and the memories of them playing at our wedding will be talked about for a long time to come. I will definitely recommend this to anyone who wishes to have a tremendous group play at their special occasion.

We were lucky enough to book Lion and Tiger for our wedding on August 26th, 2017 and we couldn't of been happier with the outcome. The band is young, vibrant, professional, and punctual. Working with the band was seamless and stress free. Furthermore, they sound exactly like the record and even their sound check was pretty fun to watch. They had the dance floor rockin' all night and i highly recommend for your wedding/party/event if you want a ton of fun and a jammed dance floor.

Lion and Tiger played our June 3rd wedding and they were absolutely awesome! They were on -time, well-prepared and ready to go. Most importantly they have a live sound mixer --meaning the instruments never drown out the vocals and vice versa. It also means that if you have a volume issue, all you have to do is tap on the sound mixer's shoulder and let him know. That being said, we did NOT have any issues. The sound was perfect! It's just RARE that you have someone actually there mixing the sound live. SO HELPFUL! The band's energy is lively and entertaining. They were incredibly helpful with the "flow" of the evening and were able to synthesize our list of song requests into a coherent playlist of current and classic hits. Everything we wanted to hear and more! Lastly, communication between the band leaders from the beginning was easy and transparent. I can't say enough about how awesome they are. HIRE THEM!!! It was such an incredible day, I wish we could do it all over again!
