most favorite moments from the day were spent with her - walking all along the trails near our ceremony site, laughing with my new spouse, and enjoying time together while she captured the most gorgeous photos. From the get go, Lynnsey was so thoughtful and kind with us. She got to know us as a couple over drinks when we were in the research phase, and that kind of care and attention blew us away. She made us feel like old friends, and we immediately knew we wanted that kind of energy present on our wedding day. She also was incredibly helpful through the entire process, going above and beyond to support us when our entire wedding day plans changed due to COVID-19. Lynnsey makes sure to capture the moments that you don’t even realize are happening, but are so glad you get to see after the fact. I’m talking about the sweet moments between your family members, funny pictures of your pets who are celebrating alongside you, artistic shots of your veil blowing in the wind, etc. She captures all of the love and excitement of the day, and most of the time you don’t even realize she was there. Not that we didn’t want her there of course, it’s just amazing to me how you can be having a very intimate moment and not even notice pictures are being taken. That’s one of her superpowers and also why everyone felt so relaxed and at ease. When my friend viewed our wedding photos she said, “Wow. These photos of y’all with the landscape are incredible, and the close up photos of everyone are just as amazing. Most photographers I’ve seen are really only great at one or the other. But every photo here is perfect.” She’s totally right - Lynnsey can do it all. She provided us with stunning photos of us in the mountains and of Mother Nature showing off, and photos of all the up close, detailed, personal moments of the day too. We cannot thank her enough and cannot stress how much of a joy she was to work with.

However her (and all our vendors) impressed us most with how they showed up for us when our intimate wedding in Scotland had to be canceled 4 days before we were supposed to leave, due to Covid 19. We were obviously heartbroken but we were still able to get married around home, on our original date, in the PNW. We had a blast romping around with her and our videographer! We just got our sneak peek photos back and they are PHENOMENAL. They’re all so beautiful and capture the feeling of our wedding so perfectly, I can’t pick a favorite because I love them all. Lynnsey has a real gift for capturing emotion - all the photos are beautiful but some of the shots of our families make me choke up even weeks later. She’s also a ninja, I don’t know how she got some of those shots because I barely saw her. Thank you so much Lynnsey - our day was perfect and you captured exactly how it felt to be there.

first time our wedding video. Lynnsey was amazing to work with from the start. I loved her vibe and personality from our first meeting and felt like she would make our day feel comfortable and easy. She was also great at taking on the challenge to film our ceremony and do our photography. Lynnsey made the day feel seemless. She made sure to get all the photos we needed/wanted and even handled my family drama and bride stress so well. A year later, I still look in awe at our photos and feel like the most beautiful bride in the world. Lynnsey captured the love and emotional moments we wanted her to and I know we will keep admiring and smiling at these photos and video for the rest of lives! I highly recommend Lynnsey as your wedding photographer/videographer.

our wedding sneak-peek pictures and absolutely LOVE them! Lynnsey captured moments beautifully and made us feel completely at ease in front of her camera. I am not used to being photographed and feel like I get stiff, but Lynnsey gave us the perfect amount of direction that was both fun and relaxing (dress swishing and bubbles!). We had an absolute blast with her! There are a lot of things I love about our experience with Lynnsey, but one of which was her pre-wedding questions which really demonstrated her high level of attention to details and her commitment to her couples' requests and unique experience. We got the opportunity to let her know what sort of photos were most important to us (including a list of any photos we wanted outside of the norm), address any questions we had, and provide a bit more info about the event (whether there were any surprises for guests, etc.) It was clear she really took our answers to heart: We had a "smallish" ceremony with about 60 people and wanted to try and get a full group shot...Lynnsey pulled it off amazingly!! I can't imagine how that must be like herding 60 cats, but she saw this as no problem at all and jumped right in to efficiently and effectively set up the shot and get everyone situated for a beautiful photograph! Additionally, we were originally not going to do a first look, but Lynnsey gave us some really compelling reasons to do it, and I'm SO THANKFUL we took her advice. The first look photos are some of my favorites so far, not to mention it was a much needed escape from the whirlwind of the day's preparations. She captured the emotions we were hoping to experience when seeing each other for the first time when walking down the isle, but in a much more intimate moment and while capturing the beauty of our surroundings. From the first time we connected with Lynnsey we were so comfortable with her and enjoyed her company so much that it felt more like we were hanging out as friends and not clients. We value this so much in any wedding vendor, but especially the photographer. Lynnsey took the time to get to know us and work with our schedule (even though we live in another state!) and was equally as adventurous with us. Some of my favorite moments during our wedding day was actually when we were taking bride and groom shots with Lynnsey. I wish we could have had more time just to keep taking fun pictures! :) We would highly recommend Lynnsey to any couple getting married, and we just hope to work with Lynnsey in the future for some more fun photo adventures!

On top of that, we had seen other wedding photos done and we wanted to preserve more that just a photo of the day, we wanted to preserve the feeling and joy of our union. We ended up contacting Lynnsey by chance and I completely believe we were destined to meet. SHE IS A SUPPORT SYSTEM - She made us feel so safe and comfortable. She made us laugh and we knew, without a doubt, that if everything else failed on our day, we would have Lynnsey by our side. She was more than our photographer, she was our friend and support system through our wild ride of a wedding. AND SHE IS AN ARTIST. I honestly never thought that we could look so good. We have so many beautiful memories to look back on and it is all because of Lynnsey. We literally cannot thank her enough. If we could bring her with us to photograph every life event from now on, we would. AND SHE IS A NINJA - she is so flipping sneaky with her photo skills. We looked at the photos she sent us of our ceremony and went, "Where the F was she hiding while she took these?!" and we got married with around 40 people in attendance and under a small chuppah. Didn't see her once and we have magical close ups of us exchanging our vows (and we don't look ugly while we are UGLY CRYING). Yes. She is that good. I am literally crying as I write this because of how many great memories I have of our experience. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE take this advice from us: if you are budgeting for your wedding and are not sure about spending most of your budget on a photographer: DO IT. Buy Mickey D's and have your bestie marry you in a field while wearing a ratty white T-Shirt, BUT HIRE Lynnsey.

convey to me that I would look beautiful as an average joe. When I came across Lynnsey's photos, I was floored by how uniquely gorgeous every photo was. It meant a lot to me to see pictures of people looking beautiful in their joy, no matter their size or race. Lynnsey was incredible on the day of our wedding. It was a small group and the bulk of our wedding was located indoors but she had scoped out amazing locations for our couple photos all around the Airbnb. When my sister's dress strap snapped, Lynnsey was there, helping her fix it. She made my husband and I feel so comfortable around her - we were so nervous about having our photos taken but Lynnsey made it so easy with her silly questions and guidance and we were laughing the entire time. She made what was essentially a house party seem like any other wedding despite the challenges of photographing indoors in a normal kitchen. Everyone loved her and found her easy to talk to, to the point where we were engaging her in our drinking games. She was a very good sport and I'm so, so happy we chose to work with her. Lynnsey was so responsive to my BILLIONS of emails and never made me feel like a burden. I don't have to recommend her to my friends or family because they were there. They met Lynnsey and know of the light she brings to a wedding and loved the photos she turned out for us. I find myself scheming ways to be able to work with her again in the future - that's how amazing she is.

r wedding, the package included an engagement photo shoot session. However, my husband and I were convinced that we wouldn't be able to utilize it because we wanted the photos for our invitations and the distance between us just made it seem impossible to do so. Lynnsey made it happen! She not only took time out of a personal trip she was going on to shoot our engagement photos but she made it extremely convenient for us and in a place that meant so much to my husband and I. She made us a pit stop on her trip, then we drove an hour out of the way, hiked a mountain to a beautiful alpine lake, all while having a blast. I really thought I was either not going to have engagement photos or was going to have to pay someone else to do them and instead, we got beautiful photos, for no extra cost, in our ideal location, with our ideal photographer; Lionlady Photography. She makes you feel comfortable- Neither my husband or myself are familiar or comfortable with being in front of a camera. We started off a little goofy and awkward but within no time we completely forgot that she was even there. The way she "instructs" or guides you through it makes it so easy and natural that you don't even feel like you are posing and in the end we went from slightly awkward, to not wanting it to stop because we were having so much fun. She has positive, fun energy- A large wildfire broke out just south of my wedding venue 3 days before my wedding. The smoke was really bad leading up to our big day and Lynnsey just kept reassuring me that it was all going to be perfect and that smoke actually makes photos look better. It was so nice to have someone that was so positive and calming during this crazy stressful time. She calms your nerves and keeps the energy light and positive! The end result will blow you away- She has an amazing talent for seeing moments and capturing them so naturally. She gets to know you as a couple and translates your love into her photographs. I felt that she represented our love through her photos so purely and honestly which is exactly what we wanted. When I look at the photos and I see every moment that she captured during the ceremony/reception, special moments between family members, and our friends getting down on the dance floor, I have to remind myself that it was just Lynnsey because her work makes it seem as if she has 5 photographers working with her. She doesn't miss a thing! Lastly, if you are considering hiring Lionlady photography for your wedding, I am here to tell you that you will not be disappointed! If there is anything that you spend your money on it should be your photographer and it should be Lynnsey. She works hard, makes you a priority and her work is leaps and bounds above the rest.

I've been to weddings where EVERYONE remembered the photographer but not in a good way, for mine I had multiple people tell me how lovely and sweet she was without being in their face... she (and the additional photographer she brought with her) simply felt like additional guests who happened to be getting great shots. I did a TON of research on photographers in WA and even though Lynnsey's prices were a bit higher than others, the quality of her work is why she's able to charge more. Seriously, I couldn't even find another Washington photographer who's work compared... and I'm very picky. If you're trying to decide where to save in your budget, the photographer is absolutely not the place... because nothing is worse than hearing friends tell me that they hate every single one of their wedding pictures, mean while we love all of ours. You can't get the day back -- nor the moments -- so pick someone outstanding like Lynnsey who will do an amazing job. Something I also liked about her is that her albums all look different... because she really looks at the spaces she's in, the people she's working with, the dynamics of it all, and decides what to shoot... not a cookie-cutter photographer. Just great. Love her. Hire her. I promise, you won't regret it.

’s portfolio and immediately loved her work. What struck us the most about it is that she can balance the gorgeous scenery (beautiful outdoor backdrops) with the intimacy and love between the couple. The photographs she creates are sexy, fun and artistic. Lynnsey is able to put you at easy when you feel awkward about posing. The photographs she gave us of the wedding were beautiful and captured our day perfectly. Above all, Lynnsey is an incredibly hard worker. Our wedding day was the week after hers and she never skipped a beat. Lynnsey is easy going, caring, professional and loves her job.

She also has a bunch of fun tricks to get you to look “normal” and by the end of our engagement and wedding photo shoots we both started to forget that the camera was there. We also both wanted to avoid staged or posed appearing photos and Lynnsey’s tricks are gold for making photos look natural even when they are somewhat staged. Finally, she has a wonderful artistic eye, making great use of areas around our venue (which was a family home) that I never would have thought could look so gorgeous in a photo. I can’t stop looking at our photos simply because she created such beautiful works of art with a place that I’ve known for years. I’m excited to get some framed (and I’m a person who hates framing photos of herself) just to enjoy Lynnsey’s great photography every day!
