We just had our wedding at Lionscrest Manor on July 18th, and Wedgewood did a phenomenal job from start to finish. My husband and I are student-athletes at CU and were juggling a lot during the wedding planning process, but Megan and the Wedgewood team made it easy and smooth for us. Wedgewood also did a spectacular job on the renovations this past year. Absolutely beautiful. Our wedding guests raved about the venue, the food, and the overall flow of the evening. We are so happy we chose Wedgewood and this venue for our big day!

ly and friends. We toured multiple venues, and Lionscrest won our hearts from the moment we first stepped onto the lawn. This venue is absolutely gorgeous, with stunning views from the ceremony lawn and the reception hall is also amazing! The Lionscrest team was also incredibly easy to work with, planning our wedding across the country was hard but the amazing team at Lionscrest made it as easy as possible. They were very responsive and knowledgeable, answered all of our questions, and gave amazing advice without pushing us to purchase anything we didn't need! On the actual day of our wedding, the day of coordinator was amazing in ensuring everything went smoothly and allowed us to enjoy the wedding itself. If we went back and planned our wedding again selecting Lionscrest would be the most important thing we would want to repeat!

the venue but were continuously impressed and thrilled with how helpful and on top of everything the staff was. We are fairly busy people and decided to do the Colorado inclusive package. We loved the flexibility but also the ease that this offered. They made every step of the way easy to follow and had thought of everything. On the day of our wedding, we got so many compliments about how beautiful the venue was, how amazing the staff was (both Greenspoint and Lionscrest), and how flawless the day was. By the time I could think of something, it was already taken care of which made the day perfect and stress-free. We LOVED our day-of coordinator Liz, she was so amazing and on top of everything. When we went to our details meeting I was extremely amazed at how organized and well planned out everything was. The day of definitely had some hiccups but not due to Lionscrest. Shannon was amazing to work with and helped make everything smooth as possible. It was such an impressive setup and take down. The only concern we had was the size of the men's dressing room. When we first went to check it out, the owner of the venue (who has coordinated literally hundreds of weddings over 28 years) calmed our nervous kids right down with her sensible no-nonsense practicality. Then we toured the GORGEOUS venue - it has everything you want, including a spacious lovely outdoor lawn with trees and mountain vistas for an outdoor ceremony. The day of the wedding, staff kept everything flowing smoothly. Nothing went wrong, because they headed everything off ahead of time. The staff were so nice, so helpful, seemed to have anticipated everything. Absolutely no complaints - what you get when you hire the professionals!

od info. We ended up choosing the Colorado Inclusive Package and are so happy we did! All the vendors provided through the venue were great. The food was great, the decor was great, the drinks were great! Set up and tear down were also a breeze. We worked with a few different ladies throughout our planning process with Lionscrest. Shannon helped us choose decor and go through the contract at our details meeting and Tatiana was our day of coordinator. Tatiana was a blessing! She was somehow everywhere at once! I don't know how she did it. The rehearsal was really smooth. Then at the wedding she took care of setting up all the extra stuff we brought as well as pinning all the boutonnieres on the groomsmen, making sure my husband and I had drinks the whole time, helping with timing, and much more. We loved our venue and we loved working with Tatiana! The night was amazing thanks to them.

have always been responsive, helpful, organized, and made sure that we were always meeting our deadlines and getting everything we needed in place in advance of our big day.
The day of our wedding, everything could not have gone more smoothly. Lionscrest staff were professional and easy to work with, the weather was perfect, and the evening could not have been more beautiful. Our day-of coordinator, Tatiana, was a huge help and always made sure that we felt great about everything. She always had quick solutions for any small last-minute decisions that came up during the course of the day. The view from atop the small cliff to the side of the property provided the perfect backdrop for some amazing photos. We absolutely loved the land and venue and we are so glad that we went with Lionscrest Manor as our venue. Could not recommend more highly!

ndors knew the venue inside and out. The really nice thing about Lionscrest is that even with the inclusive package they let you remove vendors so if you're really set on a particular thing you don't have to sacrifice it. You provide your own alcohol (but they have a liquor store you can work with) so you aren't paying an outrageously overpriced amount to have an open bar. You literally pay the same price you would if you went to a liquor store. We chose to remove the cake company they work with so we could make our donut wall dream come true and their staff was more than willing to help set up the donut wall even though we didn't use their vendor. Our day of coordinator (also included in our package), Liz, was very helpful and I truly felt like she was there to do anything and everything to make our day so smoothly. The entire property is gorgeous and we had many guests tell us our venue was one of the most beautiful venues they had ever been to. I would highly recommend this venue!

She truly went above and beyond. Lionscrest Manor is also so beautiful. Our guests didn’t stop raving about the beautiful views inside and outside. The fact they let our dog, Willow, be a part of the ceremony was also an amazing plus. The responsiveness and customer service of the venue were beyond our expectations and we would recommend them to everyone. was so easy to pick the decor and to coordinate with vendors. I highly recommend their inclusive package which rolls in catering, cake, decor, photography, officiant, and more. We were still able to customize to make our day exactly what we wanted too. We came to Lionscrest to check it out and just had a feeling it was right and I'm so glad we picked them! Also this venue has so many cute places for guests to hang out in. Guests could enjoy the band, or hang out on the lawn, or back patio, or by the fountain. It was so special and Lionscrest created the perfect environment for us! Thank you!

before and after the ceremony! Lionscrest has their process down pat, which makes planning your wedding here so much easier. We did the Colorado Inclusive package and used all of the recommended vendors. That saves so much work because they all know the venue, and each other, well. Lionscrest has a day-of coordinator. Put that altogether and the wedding set itself up while I focused on hair, make-up and getting dressed! Leona and Shannon were so pleasant and helpful to work with. Debby at Reale Events knew exactly what flowers we needed to spruce up our décor, and provided the leftover flowers to Colorado Rose Cake Company to decorate our beautiful cake. Our Officiant Girard Sheffield had lunch with our DJ (Michael of Pure Sounds) and compared notes about how we wanted to run our ceremony. And we're still getting compliments about how good the cake and Greens Point Catering's food was. If you want less stress and a beautiful venue with mountain views and plenty of great photo options, not to mention great food and an awesome DJ, we highly, HIGHLY, recommend Lionscrest Manor!

They put up with my millions of questions, let us bring out of town family members for tours a couple times, and really made us feel comfortable and relaxed about the wedding day! Emily was our day of coordinator, and while I thought she did amazing I really didn't have too much contact with her. It was the rest of my family that RAVED about her and everything she did for us that day! I don't have one bad thing to say about the venue or the people there. On top of the amazing service, you can't beat the beauty of the venue. Absolutely, 100% recommended this venue!

We went with the venue only package which was the perfect option because we wanted to use our own caterer and bring our own liquor. If you do this, you have to use the At Your Service Event Management company (facebook.com/AtYourServi…) but it was worth every penny as they made my life so easier and more on the big day. When we were looking for venues, I didn't realize they rarely include the tables, linens, plates, silverware, and chairs into the price (which is ABSURD in my opinion - I need more than a room and a field to get married in). Even with the venue only package, Lionscrest included all of those things so we didn't have to worry about any of it. They have a TON of linen colors to choose from and they will let you get as creative as you want! I had 40,000 questions and they were always answered and addressed. We had some special requests such as using our own archway, special decor, alternating color linens etc. and everything was accommodated.
Ever since we booked the Lionscrest, every single person at the venue was amazing, helpful, sweet, communicative, thoughtful, and overall lovely. On the big day, Emily was our coordinator from the venue and I could not be more thankful for her and everything she did for us. Between her and Jim from At Your Service, everything was absolute perfection and everything we needed and hoped for. Thank you so much to Lionscrest and for those of you reading this, don't book anywhere else!!!

on as I reached out to Lionscrest they got back to me and I was able to set up a walkthrough the next day! They were also great about answering any questions and helping us coordinate throughout our entire engagement. I was struggling to find a place within our small budget, that was not just an event center, and preferably in the mountains. Lionscrest hit all of our requirements! The place itself is beautiful and surrounded by gorgeous landscape just outside of Estes Park. The staff were also more than willing to give us additional options and packages that would fit within our budget. Our wedding was a beautiful day in November and our guests are still commenting on the location:)

Shannon and everyone at Lionscrest were so organized, helpful and friendly which made the planning process a breeze! They have a very detailed and clearly laid out forms and website which made it easy for us to coordinate with our vendors. Our wedding night was the best day of our lives thanks to Lionscrest and all of our incredible vendors, most of who were recommended by Lionscrest!

area is just too cool. We planned our wedding from out of town so their all-inclusive options really made things simple for us and a great choice. They had several décor options and their staff was incredible helpful in helping us pick out the right décor and everything looked amazing. in fact, I gave them some creative lee-way with my decorations and they made things look even better than I'd ever imagined. The day of staff was so helpful and made sure everything ran smoothly. I can't say enough how great of a place this was to get married!!

that works there did a wonderful job in making sure everything ran smoothly and that all of our ideas and requests were met. The venue was gorgeous, our guests are still telling us what a beautiful location it was! It feels very secluded being tucked up on a private mountain in Lyons, but is still within a reasonable distance to the Boulder area, about a 30 mins drive.
During the planning period they offer a wide variety of choices for vendors but also also allow for flexibility to bring in your own vendors. Although I highly recommend using one of their preferred caterers, there is a decent size list to choose from and sometimes it is nice when you are planning and have so many decisions to make to have your choices narrowed down to ones that the venue already has experience working with. Our choice was Front Range Catering Company which was another really positive experience.
While we worked with many members of their team throughout the process, Tatiana was one of the primary people that we worked with and she was our day of representative as well. She was very pleasant to work with, extremely kind and has a great calming demeanor which is nice when the big day can seem so hectic. I can't thank Tatiana enough for executing everything so flawlessly!
I highly recommend this beautiful, family run venue for anyone looking for a venue for both their ceremony and reception just outside of the Boulder area! Thanks again Lionscrest Team!

friendly. They made sure everything was perfect on the day of. Liz, the day of coordinator, was a godsend. She was so kind and efficient! Since my wedding was April 1st, we had no idea what the weather was going to be, but they made sure that the whole wedding party knew what would happen for the ceremony whether it was indoors or outdoors. The whole staff at Lionscrest goes above and beyond to ensure you get exactly the type of wedding you want, that the process is easy and stress free, and that you enjoy your day! I would recommend them to everyone!

We had the wedding indoors because of snow and the pictures all turned out so beautifully because of all of the natural light that comes in from the big windows. Also the bridal suite we used to get ready was perfect because it was big enough for everyone and was so pretty we got many pictures in there too! It was just a perfect place for a pink filled spring wedding!!!

nce during the entire process, from first tour to our final send off on the big day - did we regret our choice. These ladies (Leona and her 4 daughters, so cool that it is a family-run venue) have wedding planning down to a science, but in such a personalized way - the whole time you feel like your wedding is the only one that matters. The Colorado Inclusive package is such a great deal (especially in the off-season like we booked) and the vendors they suggest really ARE the best of the best. Their preferred vendors all know each other so well, and once you book Lionscrest you feel like you are in on a wonderful secret because half of the work is done for you. If you are BIG planners like us, Lionscrest is perfect because they care so much about the little things, coordination, etc. But even if you're not, they can take what you give them and help fill in the gaps. The "details meeting", about 6 weeks out from the wedding, went over everything from decor to where to have the group photo to who will take home the gifts/extra cake - EVERYTHING is covered in just an hour and an half and you know your day is in good hands.
We had really wanted an outdoor ceremony, but our April wedding day was cold and rainy - the indoor ceremony turned out to be incredible (and we didn't have to worry about cold, heat, or wind interfering). If the weather is touch-and-go, they can have the ceremony set up for both inside and outside for a last-minute decision, and transform the ballroom from ceremony to reception (like for ours) in just 15 minutes! The rain stopped just long enough for us to take pictures outside, and there are SO many pretty spots, from the Steamboat Mountain backdrop to the rocky ridges to the Maison du Lion barn, to take them!
Shannon was our rehearsal/wedding-day coordinator and asked all the right questions, and kept us on track by checking in with us throughout the day without overwhelming us at all. She was so sweet and a big Disney fan like us, too! We have received countless compliments from our guests about the beauty of the manor/area, the coordination of the day, and the fun that was had - all of this starts with the venue choice. The location itself is perfect - a Colorado mountain wedding without having to drive for hours and hours. If we HAD to nitpick about one thing, the ballroom as-is could use a tad more color (it is elegant, but some might say overly sterile/white), but you can easily add decor upgrades like we did that enhanced the feel (and our pictures turned out amazing).
Get married at Lionscrest. Seriously.

ithin our price range. We had the ability to remove any part of the package that we did not need. We booked our wedding 14 months in advance. They did not charge extra to get married on a Saturday which was a huge plus! They also only do one event per day, so they are completely focused on you on your wedding day. Our day of coordinator, Shannon, was AMAZING! We met her the day before our wedding when we went to the venue for our rehearsal. She was incredibly organized and went out of her way to make our wedding day run smoothly. We had an UP themed wedding, and she went as far as to print the name cards for the chairs with UP graphics. She was always ten steps ahead and thought of every detail. We could not have been happier with our experience with Lionscrest.

Everyone we worked with was so incredibly nice and understanding. Liz was assigned to us as our wedding coordinator and she did not miss a beat! She watched over the entire set up, coordinated everybody and made sure everything was cleaned up at the end of the night!

They wanted to look at several different venues but when they drove to this location and saw the gorgeous view and venue, they knew, this was the one. They fell in Love with it. It is truly amazing! Breathtaking! The day was incredible and worry free. Shannon was the day of coordinator and the contact we worked with for a year and a half. Most imporantantly, they were sweet, kind, and understanding- since they are a very popular venue, I asked if my friends and I could craft unique decorations and centerpieces (following their decor guidelines). I received an enthusiastic "yes!" and they allowed friends and family members help decorate and make it one of the most personable and memorable days of our lives!
We worked with Liz as the day-of coordinator. She was so knowledgeable and kept the schedule running smoothly and stress-free!

earsal walk through, my bridesmaids were commenting how organized Tatiana was with all her specific instructions. That carried over to the night of the big event where everything was taken care of and the venue itself was absolutely beautiful. With the Lionscrest staff, you don't even need a wedding planner, they step into that role! I can't recommend them enough after such a wonderful experience we had.
