The worst part of my wedding was our DJ and that is the only thing I would have changed. The DJ got switched the day before my wedding and I got a ten second phone call to let me know. As I bride the day before the wedding it was very stressful...
. My DJ mispronounced my sisters names numerous times throughout the night and did not follow my set list. I wish I had someone else. The DJ did not room the room or enacted with the crowd. We had our wedding at the Silo so our DJ was free. Now I understand why. I get asked by newly engaged couples who went to my wedding who I had as a DJ because they want to stay clear of who we had. THE GUEST COULD TELL. It is embarrassing even one year later. You only have one night and you can never go back and change it and your DJ can never go back and make it up for you. Choose someone else!

I was not happy with our DJ for the wedding.
1. we had so many awkward silences...DJ did not provide any direction and really lacked during transitions.
2. DJ was not familiar with country music so asked us to make a sample playlist in Spotify ...
to include during open dancing. He played our playlist top to bottom, same artist multiple songs in a row....isn't it his job to make the playlist?
3. MOH and bridesmaids had to keep requesting songs to keep people dancing....otherwise the dance floor would just clear out.
4. loud music accidentally played during our ceremony. It was brief and not a huge deal but just added to overall frustration of the day :(
I sent this feedback back to office at Lionsroad after my wedding and never received any response back...disappointing since this was such a big part of our budget and plays such a crucial role in setting the mood for the day.

They did the uplighting for the reception, and created an atmosphere that was fun and joyful. The dance floor was poppin' the entire time, and everyone had an absolute blast with the songs he played! The guy they sent for the job was really nice, but he was 30 minutes late to the consultation we had to have with him and then he said that since we were being so low-key with our services through them, he would come to the rehearsal and go over a few sound things with us that we had small concerns about. Well, he never showed at the rehearsal- not a big deal, because we didn't end up using one of the mics we planned to, but kind of stinky- let your yes be yes and your no be no.... especially in a business! But he showed up at the wedding and did a good job.

had the most amazing wedding along with music. Hugo was so helpful when showing my fiance and Father a few moves to help us look much better on the dance floor for our dances. Justin our DJ was so very nice and loved that they let me provide a huge list of music and played nearly all of it. I almost forgot they also were able to play our ceremony music and sound. We had an out door wedding and this helped immensely so everyone could hear. My family loves to dance (especially my 95 year old grandfather) and everyone loved the music and danced through the end of the night. Justin was also so helpful to stay later since my friends wanted to keep dancing and even played a song from a friends phone that my friend wanted that they did not have on his database. Nothing at all bad to say at any point of all our dealings with LionsRoad. Overall everything was perfect and above and beyond anything I would have thought a DJ group could do. I compiled a list of all the songs everyone chose and gave it to our DJ Ben a few weeks before our wedding and told him we would like those songs played. When it came down to the reception, he played the jazz music, like we had requested, while everyone was eating dinner. We then asked him if he could play some more upbeat music so people would start to get out on the dance floor. It took him almost an hour and a half to play something upbeat and by that time the majority of our guests were either bored or leaving. I was very disappointed in our DJ after we told him several times to play something upbeat to get people out on the dance floor. It was very frustrating. LionsRoad is such a great company, but i guess just our DJ that night wasn't feeling it! I would recommened LionsRoad, but definitely not the DJ we had.
