Lip Service Makeup

As an individual who does not wear makeup daily nor more than 3 products when I do put it on, please understand that makeup was a vendor that I take very seriously because I have no idea what I'm doing. I can't recommend Jennifer and her team more! She's so incredibly talented, professional, and friendly to everyone she meets. She gives suggestions of what she recommends based on your looks and your theme/dress. I wanted something pretty basic, and she knocked it out of the park on my wedding day! I felt like a princess and it went so well with my dress and jewelry. Her entire team was timely, and respectful, and had great conversations with all my girls getting ready with me. Thanks for everything, J. You're amazing, and I wouldn't have wanted anyone else there!

I went in with a vague idea for my wedding day makeup of just wanting a bold lip. Jennifer took the time to sit and talk about what I liked, what would work for me and why. And then she went to work and gave me exactly what I didn’t realize I wanted. I absolutely loved my makeup look she created and on the day of she and her team crafted beautiful looks for all of my bridal party. Jennifer even took the time to sit and chat with me and give me some good advice about getting through the rest of the day and battling nerves.

I cannot say enough good things about Jennifer Trotter and Lip Service Make Up. They hit all the basic requirements of being on time and making us all beautiful. They truly are very skilled in both hair and makeup. But they were also FUN. They were in such good spirits and made getting ready at 6:00 AM an experience my wedding party, my mother, and I enjoyed and will always remember. They knew exactly what they were doing so we didn't feel stressed or rushed at all. We were able to have complete confidence in them! Not to mention, I looked the exact way I wanted to look. We had a trial before so she was able to work with me on my ideas and ultimately reach my goal perfectly. I met Jennifer several years ago when she did our makeup for a friend's wedding. She did an amazing job back then and I could not have been happier to have her be a part of our special day. All of the makeup was flawless. She does a really great job on people who love makeup and wear a full face everyday but also individuals that do not. She did just the right amount to make everyone feel beautiful in their own skin.

Jennifer & her team came to our rescue last minute! The night before our wedding our previous hair/make-up team canceled due to the inclement weather. Jennifer sent over a contract that very night for her team members to come out the next morning! They did such a great job and our hair/make-up came out beautiful.

Logan was amazing on our wedding day! She made my mother-in-law and mother look and feel so incredible and the lashes looked so good my bridesmaids ended up adding them on day of! So thankful for Logan being over prepared and going above and beyond day of! I felt like my best self!

Jennifer and her team do amazing work and are so talented! My bridal party, my mom, my mother-in-law, and I all looked so good on my wedding day! Our best features were enhanced so well and we all received so many comments on our beautiful looks. Jennifer also helped save the day as my father-in-law had awful bruising on his face from a fall the week of the wedding. Jennifer helped bring in Amber last minute to cover his large bruising to the point that he didn't look like anything had happened to him. He regained his confidence for the day because of their expertise. Jennifer and her team are so professional, talented, and easy to work with!

Jen and her team were incredible! I booked her so long ago, then had to postpone, and she was so easy to work with. I was super impressed at my trial and let her work her magic on me, as well as my mom and bridesmaids. Everyone looked beautiful while still looking like themselves. She is also such a fun person to be around, absolutely loved working with her!

Jen and her team are AMAZING! All of the bridesmaids looked stunning. On the big day, my mom decided she would like to have her hair done and Jen and her team did not hesitate to add her in and make her feel glamorous! I, as the bride, also felt beautiful in my hair and makeup and Jen and her team made me feel extremely at ease all day and helped both my bridesmaids and I get pumped up while we were getting ready. Could not have asked for more!

Jen to the rescue!! Two days before my bridal shoot, my booked hair and makeup stylist tested positive for COVID. I reached out to so many other places, all of which were booked. Jen responded to my “hair and makeup emergency” promptly, opened up a spot for me, and between her and her assistant got me exactly the look I wanted and more. I’ve always hated the way I look with lots of makeup on but the way she did it I was completely comfortable and felt like a bride. She did such a wonderful job that I decided to ask her to do my wedding too, instead of having my bridesmaids do it like I’d planned. She’s also the sweetest and has a wonderful team!

I knew I wanted to get my hair/make up done for wedding day, but I was hesitant since I never do much to my hair and I never wear any makeup normally. Jennifer was so helpful explaining and describing the rationale for each make-up component. DO THE TRIAL! It made wedding day so much smoother and I was calmer as I knew exactly what to expect and knew that Jennifer & Priscilla were going to do a great job. The Lip Service team is worth it!!

We used Lip Service for my daughter's wedding and they did an amazing job! She was so incredibly helpful in answering all of my questions before booking, sending photos of past clients, and helping me navigate all the times I might need hair and makeup services. Jen is wonderful and personable and will make your feel right at home sitting in her chair. She will talk through what you want for your day and give suggestions if you aren't sure. Couldn't have asked for a better glam squad for my wedding!! We had Jennifer for our makeup and Priscilla for our hair, and they KILLED it!! I honestly cannot recommend Jennifer and her team more! I hired the Lip Service Makeup team to do my, as well as my mother, mother in law, and all bridesmaid's hair and makeup on the day of our wedding. Leading up to the big day, Jennifer (owner) was the most professional, encouraging, and supportive vendor. She listened, advised, and made me feel so important. Our wedding date had to be pushed from March to October due to the pandemic, and Jennifer could not have been more accommodating and helpful. With all things wedding related being rescheduled, my confidence in the Lip Service team did not waiver. On the day of, team members Amber (makeup) and Shea (hair) were absolutely amazing! They worked as a team and had us all ready ahead of schedule-- which was super helpful. They each made us feel like absolute queens, and I truly felt like one! Jennifer was so awesome!! I was supposed to get married out of town at the beginning of May and due to COVID, my wedding was postponed an entire year... womp womp. Jennifer was so fantastic! She is incredibly friendly, professional and knows SO MUCH about makeup. You can tell that makeup is her passion and she loves to share it. She gave me many tips and tricks for makeup on my skin. We did a test run, bridals and my day-of makeup! Jennifer and her girls were truly incredible to me on my wedding day and in the days leading up to our ceremony. Where do I even begin with this? Long story short... my entire wedding reception was cancelled with four days to go, after a year of planning, due to COVID-19. Family and friends couldn’t travel, and our venue was shut down by the city. When I initially called Jennifer to let her know, in a full on meltdown mind you, she was kind, supportive and assured me that she and her team would help me in whatever way they could moving forward. After a long discussion my fiancé and I decided to move forward with our ceremony, as the church was still willing to marry us and we wanted to show the world and each other that LOVE WINS. When I asked Jennifer if she and her team would still come to do my makeup and hair she didn’t hesitate for a second. She didn’t judge our decision and said no matter what they would help me. She will never know what that meant to me in that moment. Flash forward to the day of the wedding- her team showed up on time and prepared. Both women, Amber and Bre, had smiles on their faces and treated us much like I would imagine they treat all their brides.... incredible! These women helped us spend the morning feeling pampered and gave us many opportunities to smile and belly laugh on a day that was bittersweet for many reasons. The hair and make up styles my sister, mother in law, mom and I received were simply stunning. We all got EXACTLY what we were hoping for, with a little extra sparkle because of how beautiful Amber and Bre made us all feel. To say I am grateful to LipService, Jennifer, and her stylists is an understatement. They have my deepest gratitude as well as my utmost respect for their talents and professionalism... they truly can’t be beat!

My makeup was perfect and I felt cared for by all the women who worked with me and my bridesmaids! They were professional and kind, and I didn’t feel like just another bride. Plus, I got TONS of comments on how great my makeup looked! Couldn’t recommend them more highly.

Jen and her team did a fabulous job for my hair and makeup and the entire bridal party's! The team arrived bright and early Saturday morning and got everybody (11 of us and one flower girl) ready right on time (about 5 hours total). Everybody, including both mothers who were super apprehensive about being too made up, was super pleased with how they looked. The team really mastered "like myself but better" look we were going for. Everybody's hair and makeup stayed put for the 10ish hours from when it was done until the end of the wedding. Some girls still had their hair intact the next morning (I was told they were leaving it for at least one more day but left for the honeymoon so can't confirm what it looked like)! Jen was super responsive to all my questions and very accommodating when I wanted to make adjustments to the look we had practiced. She also did my makeup for our engagement photos. I could not have been more thrilled with the work Jen did and would hire her again in a heartbeat!

Jennifer and her team were first class pros from beginning to end. They were a complete pleasure to work with! They showed up and finished right on schedule and the hours spent together were relaxed and fun - what a great way to start the wedding day. The girls all looked beautiful - thank you!

Hire her. I cannot gush enough about how professional, talented, personable, and reliable Jen is. She made everyone from my mother to my bridesmaids feel gorgeous. It's not simply hair and makeup: you look like yourself and she made us feel stunning in our skin. Jen and her team have the experience I was looking for, and her instagram speaks for itself. She was easily some of the best money I spent in the entire process, and I will recommend her to anyone who talks to me. You can't find better.

Jenn and Bre are fabulous to work with. They were punctual to our appointments and had great attitudes when I wanted to make changes from my trial to the day of. Jenn was very easy to communicate with via email and text message. The makeup she provides is a custom blend that she makes for your unique skin type. She has a delicate touch with a great eye for complimenting your skin color and eye shape. I showed Bre a picture of what I was thinking for my updo and she nailed it, my hair was volumous and fabulous.

Deciding to hire Lip Service Makeup was one of the best choices I made for my wedding. Not only is Jen experienced, knowledgeable, and professional, but highly personable as well. The best of the best! She and her team made me feel absolutely gorgeous, giddy, and empowered throughout all of my makeover needs leading up to my wedding. OMG, just WOW!!! Jen and her team are angels/boss babes and I would not want anyone else with me and my girls on my wedding day! Y'all need to RUN to book Lip Service Makeup! Jen and her team know exactly what they are doing, are extremely professional, made everyone look absolutely stunning, and were on schedule the whole morning! Makeup and hair take up most of your morning, and you want someone who will keep you calm, smiling, and laughing the entire time - that is where Jen and Priscilla (and the rest of the team) SHINE!! Jennifer and her team are wonderful. I had both bridal makeup and hair done and all my bridesmaid’s makeup. They understand the difficulty of managing the mixed bag you may have to deal with when it comes to a handful of bridesmaids. During my bridal trial, we aligned on a cohesive look for my bridesmaids and professionally stuck to it on wedding day even when a few of my bridesmaids wanted to take a detour. I had a difficult timeline that required hair and makeup to be done at 4 am - Jennifer made it work and made the early morning as painless as possible for everyone. She also set each girl up with an emergency go bag that included extra custom lip-color and eyelash glue in addition to thoughtful items like mints and oil sheets. My favorite thing about Lip Service was that Jennifer custom blended all of our makeup. It looked so natural and dewy. I wanted a clean look with dramatic lashes and that is EXACTLY what I got! My wedding pictures are gorgeous and the professional hair and makeup made all the difference.

Jenifer Trotter is Lip Service Makeup and she did the makeup for both of my daughter’s weddings and bridals, and she had Priscilla do all the hair. Jennifer KNOWS her stuff. She will make everyone feel comfortable and each person will look and feel beautiful when she is finished. I don’t care if you are someone who wears makeup every day or someone who never wears any makeup; you will be happy. Jennifer makes the whole process fun and even throws in some tips. I have since started using the makeup setting spray she recommended and love it. She did the makeup for each of my daughters bridal portraits so she had the time to know what kind of look they each wanted. Both girls had pictures to show as well as hairstyles. Priscilla is excellent at looking at a picture and creating that style. She is very talented and the two work together flawlessly. Jennifer and Priscilla really added something special to the wedding day and I would book them again.

Jennifer and her team are amazing! Jennifer was already booked for my wedding day, so she arranged a wonderful duo team for us with Amber and Anastasia. Everyone looked fabulous on the wedding day, and both Amber and Anastasia really listened to what I wanted and made any tweaks I felt were necessary. I was so nervous because I am so picky about my makeup, but I love the way everyone's hair and makeup turned out, including my own! This bunch is worth every penny :)

I first discovered Lip Service Makeup while I was a bridesmaid for a friend’s wedding. Although I had just started dating my now husband at that time, I knew I wanted Lip Service Makeup for my future wedding as well based on her astounding talents, warmth, and professionalism. Lots of little things added up to the best experience! First off, Jen and her teams’ customer service is incredible. They always went above and beyond to make sure I was tremendously happy with the results of my hair and makeup. Jen and Anastasia never made me feel like I was asking for too much, and dealt with my grumbles promptly and meticulously. Jen has a way of connecting with people that makes her clients feel both comfortable and calm (which if you’ve ever had a wedding, you know how important that feeling is!). Secondly, Lip Service Makeup’s expertise is extraordinary! Not only did I feel like a queen on my wedding day, but also Jen gave me helpful hints that I apply to my everyday routine. My curls and makeup lasted all night through crying during the ceremony to dancing, sweating, and air guitar-ing during the reception! The day-of-schedule was timed perfectly for hair and makeup for my mom, MIL, MOH, and myself, and I couldn’t have been happier with the results! I am so grateful that Lip Service Makeup was a part of our special day, and I HIGHLY recommend!

We had such a fabulous experience with Lip Service Makeup!! Jennifer Trotter is the most amazing makeup artist as well as the owner of the company. She helped my daughter and I along the way calming us both when she knew we needed it and making sure she had professionals to do hair and makeup on the wedding day. Jennifer is organized and makes sure that the wedding party "bride" knows what to expect and when. As for bridal hair Priscilla was amazing she even worked my daughter's hair piece in and no one ever knew. Amber the makeup artist was so patient and calming. I was not going to get my makeup done, after watching her do all the other girls she was so fabulous that I decided to do mine also. She can make anyone look great, I got so many compliments. Shea did an incredible job with all the girls, there are usually a couple that do not like their hair we had none. Everyone totally loved their hair and their makeup. Amber even stayed after she was done to be sure my daughter got her vale on and looked perfect. I told her that was above and beyond the call of duty, I was very thankful!! Jennifer and her team are AMAZING! Honestly, I was really worried about the hair and makeup for my wedding. Whenever I've had my makeup professionally done, I've never liked it - it was always heavy and not natural looking. But Jennifer did such an amazing job! My makeup looked completely natural, it felt weightless, and it lasted all night long! It even looked great in pictures! My mom and couple of my bridesmaids had their makeup done, and they all loved it too! My mom is even more picky about her hair and makeup than I am, and she told me that she never felt prettier. Priscilla worked on everyone's hair and she did such an amazing job! I was very unsure how to wear my hair, even on the wedding day, and Priscilla was nothing but supportive. I could tell she was going to do whatever was necessary to make it perfect. I couldn't have been more happy with Jennifer and her team. I'll definitely be hiring her again for all of my future events and family photo shoots.

Couldn't even get a quote from them. Unreliable, unprofessional. Had owner reach out apologizing for the 3 week delay in inquiry then when I answered her questions had her "admin" reach out to let me know I'd be getting a quote... that was over 2 weeks ago. Not anyone I could trust for my big day.

We hired Lip Service Makeup to do the hair and makeup of all 8 bridesmaids, and multiple female family members, as well as bridal makeup. From the moment I had my trial with Jennifer, I knew we had made a good decision booking her and her team. She was personable and easy to talk to as she made my makeup exactly what I wanted. I am someone who rarely wears makeup and she was not pushy in her views of how I should look and really listened to me and gave me exactly what I wanted. The makeup lasted through the night, no problem! Every bridesmaid looked stunning and got to do their hair and makeup exactly how they wanted and Jennifer's team made it happen in a timely and fun way. I cannot recommend Lip Service enough!!!

Jennifer and her team did our make-up for the day of the wedding. She worked on people of all ages (20's to 80's) and everyone was over the moon excited about their look.
