I asked Joanna and her team late into the planning game if they would be willing to join our vendor team, and they were totally on top of making all of the arrangements last minute! My aunts are still talking about how beautiful Lipstick N Lashes made them feel on my wedding day. Do not hesitate to hire this wonderful team!

Our wedding day went so smoothly, and I think a large portion of that comes down to how well it started with Hair and Makeup from Vicki and Candy. They were so efficient with the schedule, without it ever feeling rushed, and yet we finished with everyone early.

We had the best experience getting ready for my wedding with Lipstick N Lashes! We highly recommend working with Ashley for make up and Mary for hair, this team added so much positivity and fun as we were getting ready. Lipstick N Lashes made me feel so beautiful during my wedding, and my bridesmaids loved getting ready with this team. Whether we were getting teary-eyed at the ceremony or rocking out on the dance floor, our hair and make up looked great and most importantly we all felt great too! We highly recommend working with Lipstick N Lashes, they were a huge part in making my day special and I know future brides will be met with the same thoughtfulness, attention to detail, and professionalism for a great wedding experience.

All of my girls looked amazing! What I am most pleased with is, after my trial I discussed some small changes with Marissa that I wanted to modify. When it came to my wedding day she listened to everything I said and knocked it out of the park! I felt so beautiful on my big day and can’t thank her enough. Joanna and her team were amazing at my June 2023 wedding. Throughout the planning process they were communicative and detail oriented. Day-of, her team was timely and did an amazing job on myself, my bridesmaids and our moms. Everyone felt so beautiful and would highly recommend!

A friend of mine recommended JoAnna and her team, and they did not disappoint! I used them for my wedding hair and makeup team. The ladies were SO down to earth, and really worked to make sure each and every one of my bridal party members got exactly what they wanted. I had a few tweaks I wanted from my trial run and the makeup and hairstylists made them without even a second thought. They were so friendly, it was like having a couple of extra friends getting ready with us. And they were very professional and came with anything we could need for any hair emergencies. The best part was they had three people, so we could start hair and makeup at a fairly decent hour and not have to get up at 5 a.m. to get everyone done. SO appreciated! I also loved that the team doesn't overdo on the makeup. I've had some wedding makeup teams that really went over the top. This team listened and the makeup was natural and clean--exactly what I was looking for. They were reasonably priced too, not as expensive as some of the others I looked at. And tip is included so there's worrying on the day of.

Joanna was amazing to work with. She was very accommodating with scheduling as I lived over an hour away. She did beautiful hairstyles for 20 girls and one groomsman and kept us ahead of schedule. She listened to what everyone wanted and delivered a beautiful product. Everyone's hair looked beautiful.

We loved working with Lipstick N Lashes, my bridal hair and my bridal party's hair all looked beautiful! She even put in a hair comb piece I brought with me day of. My Maid of Honor has thick hair that goes past her hips and wanted an up-due, and they were able to do that for her. She looked great! I've also got hair that goes to my hips, that is very fine and doesn't hold anything well. The team was able to back-brush my hair to make it thick enough on top to be able to hold my heavy, very long cathedral veil and my hair comb. I wanted to wear it down too, so they had virtually nothing to work with as far as veil placement and hold goes. It didn't look snarly, or top-heavy at all either! I can't even make scrunchies stay in and hold up my hair, it's that thin and flat, so I was really impressed! My hair held the curls all night, and wasn't crunchy to the touch at all, which made me very happy as well! I was really shocked when we got our wedding pictures back at how lively and bouncy my normally flat, frail hair looked! I took my cathedral veil out of my hair and put it back in 3 times throughout the day and night for the ceremony and pictures, and my hair never fell out. It was super windy during our outdoor ceremony. The wind swept my veil up into the air, which made it get caught on chairs, we had to pull it off the chairs while I was actively walking down the aisle, and my veil did not budge out of my hair. I was absolutely shocked at how well my hair held it in! 5 stars, Highly recommend!

Joanna and her team were fantastic! We had the hardest time finding makeup and hair for myself and six bridesmaids, but Joanna was able to accomodate us easily. Even with that many girls, we were able to start our hair and makeup by 10am and finished up around 2:30pm which worked perfectly for our timeline. Both hair and makeup were fantastic, but our makeup woman Liz did a particularly fabulous job on seven people with a wide range of skin tones. Everyone was completely thrilled with their look. Communication was also easy every step of the way! Would highly recommend.

I had such a great experience working with the Lipstick n Lashes girls for my wedding this past weekend in Rensselaer, NY. We had Amanda for hair and Marissa for makeup, and both women did such a great job and made me and my bridal party feel comfortable and beautiful. Amanda was able to spruce up my natural curls, and Marissa gave me the most beautiful, soft, and romantic makeup look. Both stayed in place all night, even after hours of dancing. I have nothing but incredible things to say about Amanda and Marissa!

We had a fantastic experience with Lipstick N Lashes for my wedding. There were a lot of us so we had 2 people for hair and 2 for makeup and all 13 of my bridesmaids loved their looks. Special shout out to hair because everyone's hair looked amazing. There were braids, up-dos, old Hollywood waves - every style came out incredible. The team was prompt arriving and we were done at the time that we anticipated - they even stuck around to fix a couple people who wanted to change their hair looks. We had a perfect experience with Joanna and her team for our Catskills wedding! Joanna was very easy to work with throughout the process and helped put me at ease and I cannot say enough about our day of hair and makeup team!!! Kalah and Candy were flawless. I was so so happy with my wedding makeup from Lipstick N Lashes. They also provided the makeup for my best friend's wedding as well. I was in love with my makeup after my trial, and then unfortunately due to COVID, there was a last minute change, and my original makeup artist was no longer able to attend the wedding. Ainslee stepped in and I was blown away. She had never met me or seen my face, and I was in love with my makeup. She also did a phenomenal job for my MOHs, Mom, and flower girls. She is a joy to be around as well! She's friendly, calm, and a professional. Highly recommend

The Lipstick N’ Lashes crew got me, seven bridesmaids, and my mom looking beautiful before my wedding! They were prompt and ran on time. Everyone was happy with how their hair and make up came out. My make up lasted all night! I am very picky about how my makeup is done, but they really listened to what I wanted and did it perfectly. The artists were really friendly, and they were honestly fun to get ready with.

Joanna and her team were absolutely fabulous for our wedding in April. The incredibly competent team transformed myself and my 5 bridesmaids plus my mom and MIL into absolutely stunning beauties- and we finished ahead of schedule! She was super easy to work with and so easy to talk to as the day went on. I am super pleased with how we all looked- and we all still looked just as good 15 hours later!! I've never looked better and she made the entire getting ready process seamless!

We hired Joanna and team to do the hair and makeup for my wedding. They came as a recommendation from our wedding venue. Day-of, Joanna and team were on time and prepared! Everything went smoothly (despite a last minute surprise addition of makeup for grandma!). Hair and make up all came out great and was "natural" looking as requested. I preferred my trial makeup and my hair did start fall out after an hour or so, but I don't think there's much that can be done for thick hair/up-dos. Photos all look incredible anyway, but that was my only complaint! Thank you Joanna and team!

We had a very small wedding in the Adirondacks and I was going for a very romantic natural look. I found Lipstick & Lashes through a friend who had used them for her wedding. I live in New Jersey so getting up there for a trial was going to be difficult because of my work schedule but they were very flexible with scheduling so I made a quick trip up and had my hair and makeup trial and it was such a nice experience. The ladies (Michaela and Ashley) showed up on the wedding day ready to glam us all up. We had so much fun and they had everything and more to make sure we all got the full treatment! They finished up a little early which was so great because my girls and I were able to sit and have a glass of champagne before the nervousness set in. Most of my girls chose a half up half down style with a braid and I chose a loose romantic low bun and everything came out just beautiful. Our hair and makeup stayed all night through dancing and hugging and even a couple of wind gusts while we were getting photos down by the lake! Thank you to all of the ladies at Lipstick & Lashes who helped our day to be as amazing as it was. Thank you to the ladies at Lipstick and Lashes for a great experience. My wedding was in June and it was a pretty hot day so I was a little worried about everything staying. The makeup and hair were flawless and the team of artists worked so efficiently which got us all finished with time to spare. By the end of the night after dancing and crying (happy tears of course) everything was still looking amazing! I’m so happy I chose Lipstick and Lashes for my wedding!

Joanna did my hair and makeup for my wedding in December 2021 and both turned out PERFECTLY. I'm a "90 Day Fiance" so I had less than 90 days to plan and have my wedding which is a really short amount of time. I found Lipstick N Lashes online, looked through their previous photos and decided to go with Joanna after a Facetime session where she could see my hair (COVID was also going on during this time). Joanna was great to work with from start to finish. I sent her a few photos of what I was hoping to look like on the big day and she was able to deliver. My experience with Lipstick N Lashes was AMAZING! Joanna is incredible!!! We tried a couple of different makeup looks during my trial, and she gave me the natural and flawless look I wanted for my wedding day. Candy was absolutely amazing! She did my make up and hair and all my other bridesmaids hair as well! She got to our Airbnb at 9am and finished by 12:30. The hair and makeup services provided by Joanna and her daughter were everything we could have hoped for and more! From the very beginning Joanna was easy to communicate with and very transparent and accommodating (including when we had to re-schedule due to COVID). I knew that I wanted on-site services, so we could all relax at our Airbnb the morning of the wedding while getting ready, and Joanna made this vision a reality. Joanna and her daughter were punctual, professional, skilled, and fun -- it made for such a wonderful and relaxed morning! Joanna and her team did a great job! I absolutely loved my look for my wedding in Lake Placid, and my bridal party looked great too. The team was willing to redo hairstyles/makeup if someone hadn't properly communicated the look she wanted the first time, and the team made no fuss about it. My friend used Lipstick N lashes for her wedding last summer and as a bridesmaid I absolutely loved my hair and makeup. Planning a wedding is so much work but I knew that this was an easy choice for me. Joanna was so responsive with emails and text messages and when I thought I was being a pain and asking too many questions, Joanna reassured me that she and her team were there for us day or night and she certainly proved that until the very day of my wedding. Joanna and her team arrived a few minutes early and this clearly was second nature to them because they set up and organized their tools and products and got right to work. We had a large group (9 ladies) and they treated each of them so kindly and everyone absolutely loved their looks! Our hair and makeup looked stunning and lasted throughout the evening and we all got so many compliments. Joanna even gave me a great little touch up kit so I could freshen up my lip color through out the evening. Ladies, if you’re looking for a company that is truly talented and professional, they check all of the boxes and you will be so happy!

I wish I could have reviewed my experience dealing with the owner and my experience dealing with the makeup and hair artists separately. If I could, I would give the owner one star and the artists five stars. The owner appeared very attentive and was quick to answer my questions prior to booking and making a down payment. However, as the date of the event approached she was incredibly disorganized and would often not respond to messages. I repeatedly had to ask what time the artists would arrive with no response. I had to call to get a start time. I called the business after many ignored messages she gave me a start time only to change it two weeks later. Then the day of the wedding an extra makeup artist arrived..causing confusion in the bridal suite and messing up the schedule for hair and makeup. Additionally, the final invoice was incorrect and had to be corrected multiple times. In conclusion, the makeup and hair artists are fabulous. However, save yourself from the extra stress during an already stressful time that would undoubtedly occur if you book with this vendor.

I am extremely picky with my makeup and my hair. I was 3.5 hours away and didn't go for my trial so when my wedding day came i was pretty nervous about how my hair and makeup will turn out. I honestly can't say enough how happy i was. My girls looked STUNNING, not one complaint (9 girls!) each and every one of them texted me the next day telling me how happy they were. As far as my hair and makeup.. BEAUTIFUL. not tooting my own horn but my makeup was so natural and my hair was exactly what i wanted. I never write reviews but they are all amazing. So thrilled with the services provided by Lipstick N Lashes. We had our first vendor cancel on us and then had a trial elsewhere that we were unhappy with so booked here sight unseen fairly last minute. Joanna is very responsive via email and phone and super easy to work with. I have very thick hair that most stylists struggle with but autumn did a phenomenal job. The hair and the makeup for the entire bridal party and both moms was flawless. Everyone was so pleased with how it turned out as well as the professionalism. I originally was hesitant as the prices are more than I wanted to spend but it was worth every dollar and highly recommend.

I found Lipstick & Lashes just a month before my wedding, after going through a bad wedding trial experience with a local salon. They set me up to work with Autumn, who was able to travel to my wedding location in Vermont. I was pretty nervous going into it because I didn't have enough time for a trial but she did a stellar job!! The hair was everything I had envisioned and the makeup was perfect - I really wanted to make sure I looked relatively natural and she did a great job accomplishing what I was going for on the first try (the only thing we tweaked at the end was lip color). I'm amazed that everything stayed put as well as it did - even after crying about 10 times and lots of dancing and squeezing into a photo booth with 10 guests, etc. She was also super sweet and my bridesmaids, mom and I had fun chatting with her. To start, I planned a destination wedding in Lake George, NY, and I booked a hair stylist the week of! Many a bride may find me nuts, but honestly time totally got away from me. Good news, best choice ever because we got Sarah from Lipstick N Lashes to come do our hair. She was calm, cool, and collected. Arrived early, while I was still in shower, and came in and set up. Very professional. I loved my hair. My two bridesmaids loved theirs as well! She looked at a picture and did just as we asked. I would honestly recommend her to anyone looking for a wedding hair service. Note: one of my bridesmaids has super curly hair and Sarah didn't even blink an eye! Thanks Joanna and Sarah!

Joanna and her Amazing team did the hair and makeup for my wedding on 10/15/2016 and I cant say enough abut these talented woman! I used Lipstick N Lashes after my friend recommended them. Joanna was extremely helpful and easy to work with. She was able to figure out what I wanted even though I was not able to convey it well. Everyone she brought the day of my wedding was fantastic. They were all extremely nice and did a great job with everyone's hair and makeup. I have more than 10 people getting ready and they had us moving and ready to go with plenty of time. Also, it was great that they came to us. I cant thank Lipstick N Lashes enough for making me look beautiful for my wedding day!

I used L'N'L for my hair and makeup and for M.O.H and M.O.B hair and makeup. They did a stellar job. A tip for using them though is only do bridal hair and makeup trials if you don't know what you want. They charge you full price for trials and they only do a quarter of what they do the day of! SO, don't pay for a trial if you don't have to. The job they did on the wedding day was amazing. I cried my eyes out and thought for sure my false lases and eyeliner had run, but it didn't move at all! Everything stayed perfectly in place like a gorgeous painting all day! The makeup didn't look or feel heavy at all! These girls really know what they are doing, and their lashes make for some pretty dramatic close up shots!

Joanna was recommended to me by my photographer as being reliable, on time, and great with her work. I set up a make up trial with her, and quickly saw what all the fuss was about! Not only was she easy to get ahold of, quick to respond to phone calls and emails, but she has such a great personality and is so fun to work with. On my wedding day, Joanna came earlier than needed to set up and let me relax a bit before starting on my mom and I's hair and make up. I would hands down recommend Joanna to anyone who is looking for a make up artist. Her work is just amazing, and she was so fun and relaxing to work with on a day that can be quite stressful. I received so many compliments on my hair and make up on my wedding day, all that I knew were true, because the results were staring at me any time I looked in the mirror. Please do yourself a favor and book Joanna now before she's booked. You will not be sorry.

Joanna and her team are AMAZING!! My girls, my mother and myself looked so beautiful. I am still receiving compliments on the way my bridesmaids glowed and looks gorgeous but natural. The ladies of Lipstick and Lashes are wonderful, kind and so professional. I loved that they were apart of my day. They were also the best choice economically for a Sunday wedding, onsite. Where other places gouged you for travel, a Sunday wedding on top of that AND for doing a party of _____, L&L were fair about their cost. LOVE LOVE LOVED it all!

Overall, I would recommend using Lipstick N Lashes for your wedding hair and makeup. The quality of their services were fantastic. My hair and makeup was perfect. The stylists listened to my every need. My bridesmaids also looked stunning. If I wanted something changed - they changed it! My only complaints: price (although all wedding hair/services are expensive) and the ease of setting up trials. I would definitely recommend calling ahead on the day of your trials to make sure that they are expecting you. Otherwise, I highly enjoyed working with them.

Joanna and Ann from Lipstick N' Lashes were a delight to work with during my wedding this past November. Joanna really impressed me with her responsiveness and ability to work with me via email/phone to coordinate the logistics. Ann did an amazing job on my hair. I loved my look and it lasted all day without any issues. She also did hair for my bridesmaids, mothers and sister-in-law. She made sure to show up early and we never felt rushed as we got ready.
