The entire team made my day amazing. They did a great job with my mom who gets nervous (and can be difficult) about having makeup professionally done. They did an amazing job with all of the bridesmaids as well and I really appreciated everything they did.

My best friend recently just had a wedding last weekend. I just wanted to shout out the hairdresser (Bethany?) who did a phenomenal job on all of our hair. She was so kind and made sure we all were happy. Everything went so well!!

I would have liked to review each part of my experience separately, my hair artist did a great job. The makeup artist, while she was very nice, I don’t know if I’d consider her work wedding worthy. Firstly she didn’t ask me at all an idea about what I’d like. I could have done my own make up better which was disappointing considering how much I loved the looks I had done while in other bridal parties (which was just a simple smoky eye) Two of my bridesmaids, who had darker skin tones had to go, take off their entire make up and redo it themselves because they looked like ghosts, and the make up was terrible for lack of a better term. I had an allergic reaction all over my forehead and eyes almost immediately which has never happened from make up before. She took a sample picture of one of the bridesmaids who redid her make up themselves so that was also not an accurate representation of her work.

I wasn’t able to come up to NY for a trial but due to the amazing reviews I trusted it. Me and my bridesmaids looked amazing! The ladies that did our hair and makeup were super friendly/helpful! They really cared about details and making sure it’s what we wanted. Thank you!! 10/10 recommend. I got so many compliments on my hair and makeup!!!

I asked Joanna and her team late into the planning game if they would be willing to join our vendor team, and they were totally on top of making all of the arrangements last minute! My aunts are still talking about how beautiful Lipstick N Lashes made them feel on my wedding day. Do not hesitate to hire this wonderful team!

Our wedding day went so smoothly, and I think a large portion of that comes down to how well it started with Hair and Makeup from Vicki and Candy. They were so efficient with the schedule, without it ever feeling rushed, and yet we finished with everyone early.

A friend of mine recommended JoAnna and her team, and they did not disappoint! I used them for my wedding hair and makeup team. The ladies were SO down to earth, and really worked to make sure each and every one of my bridal party members got exactly what they wanted. I had a few tweaks I wanted from my trial run and the makeup and hairstylists made them without even a second thought. They were so friendly, it was like having a couple of extra friends getting ready with us. And they were very professional and came with anything we could need for any hair emergencies. The best part was they had three people, so we could start hair and makeup at a fairly decent hour and not have to get up at 5 a.m. to get everyone done. SO appreciated! I also loved that the team doesn't overdo on the makeup. I've had some wedding makeup teams that really went over the top. This team listened and the makeup was natural and clean--exactly what I was looking for. They were reasonably priced too, not as expensive as some of the others I looked at. And tip is included so there's worrying on the day of.

Joanna was amazing to work with. She was very accommodating with scheduling as I lived over an hour away. She did beautiful hairstyles for 20 girls and one groomsman and kept us ahead of schedule. She listened to what everyone wanted and delivered a beautiful product. Everyone's hair looked beautiful.

We loved working with Lipstick N Lashes, my bridal hair and my bridal party's hair all looked beautiful! She even put in a hair comb piece I brought with me day of. My Maid of Honor has thick hair that goes past her hips and wanted an up-due, and they were able to do that for her. She looked great! I've also got hair that goes to my hips, that is very fine and doesn't hold anything well. The team was able to back-brush my hair to make it thick enough on top to be able to hold my heavy, very long cathedral veil and my hair comb. I wanted to wear it down too, so they had virtually nothing to work with as far as veil placement and hold goes. It didn't look snarly, or top-heavy at all either! I can't even make scrunchies stay in and hold up my hair, it's that thin and flat, so I was really impressed! My hair held the curls all night, and wasn't crunchy to the touch at all, which made me very happy as well! I was really shocked when we got our wedding pictures back at how lively and bouncy my normally flat, frail hair looked! I took my cathedral veil out of my hair and put it back in 3 times throughout the day and night for the ceremony and pictures, and my hair never fell out. It was super windy during our outdoor ceremony. The wind swept my veil up into the air, which made it get caught on chairs, we had to pull it off the chairs while I was actively walking down the aisle, and my veil did not budge out of my hair. I was absolutely shocked at how well my hair held it in! 5 stars, Highly recommend!

Joanna and her team were fantastic! We had the hardest time finding makeup and hair for myself and six bridesmaids, but Joanna was able to accomodate us easily. Even with that many girls, we were able to start our hair and makeup by 10am and finished up around 2:30pm which worked perfectly for our timeline. Both hair and makeup were fantastic, but our makeup woman Liz did a particularly fabulous job on seven people with a wide range of skin tones. Everyone was completely thrilled with their look. Communication was also easy every step of the way! Would highly recommend.

I had such a great experience working with the Lipstick n Lashes girls for my wedding this past weekend in Rensselaer, NY. We had Amanda for hair and Marissa for makeup, and both women did such a great job and made me and my bridal party feel comfortable and beautiful. Amanda was able to spruce up my natural curls, and Marissa gave me the most beautiful, soft, and romantic makeup look. Both stayed in place all night, even after hours of dancing. I have nothing but incredible things to say about Amanda and Marissa!

We had a fantastic experience with Lipstick N Lashes for my wedding. There were a lot of us so we had 2 people for hair and 2 for makeup and all 13 of my bridesmaids loved their looks. Special shout out to hair because everyone's hair looked amazing. There were braids, up-dos, old Hollywood waves - every style came out incredible. The team was prompt arriving and we were done at the time that we anticipated - they even stuck around to fix a couple people who wanted to change their hair looks. We had a perfect experience with Joanna and her team for our Catskills wedding! Joanna was very easy to work with throughout the process and helped put me at ease and I cannot say enough about our day of hair and makeup team!!! Kalah and Candy were flawless. I was so so happy with my wedding makeup from Lipstick N Lashes. They also provided the makeup for my best friend's wedding as well. I was in love with my makeup after my trial, and then unfortunately due to COVID, there was a last minute change, and my original makeup artist was no longer able to attend the wedding. Ainslee stepped in and I was blown away. She had never met me or seen my face, and I was in love with my makeup. She also did a phenomenal job for my MOHs, Mom, and flower girls. She is a joy to be around as well! She's friendly, calm, and a professional. Highly recommend

The Lipstick N’ Lashes crew got me, seven bridesmaids, and my mom looking beautiful before my wedding! They were prompt and ran on time. Everyone was happy with how their hair and make up came out. My make up lasted all night! I am very picky about how my makeup is done, but they really listened to what I wanted and did it perfectly. The artists were really friendly, and they were honestly fun to get ready with.

Joanna and her team were absolutely fabulous for our wedding in April. The incredibly competent team transformed myself and my 5 bridesmaids plus my mom and MIL into absolutely stunning beauties- and we finished ahead of schedule! She was super easy to work with and so easy to talk to as the day went on. I am super pleased with how we all looked- and we all still looked just as good 15 hours later!! I've never looked better and she made the entire getting ready process seamless!

We hired Joanna and team to do the hair and makeup for my wedding. They came as a recommendation from our wedding venue. Day-of, Joanna and team were on time and prepared! Everything went smoothly (despite a last minute surprise addition of makeup for grandma!). Hair and make up all came out great and was "natural" looking as requested. I preferred my trial makeup and my hair did start fall out after an hour or so, but I don't think there's much that can be done for thick hair/up-dos. Photos all look incredible anyway, but that was my only complaint! Thank you Joanna and team!

We had a very small wedding in the Adirondacks and I was going for a very romantic natural look. I found Lipstick & Lashes through a friend who had used them for her wedding. I live in New Jersey so getting up there for a trial was going to be difficult because of my work schedule but they were very flexible with scheduling so I made a quick trip up and had my hair and makeup trial and it was such a nice experience. The ladies (Michaela and Ashley) showed up on the wedding day ready to glam us all up. We had so much fun and they had everything and more to make sure we all got the full treatment! They finished up a little early which was so great because my girls and I were able to sit and have a glass of champagne before the nervousness set in. Most of my girls chose a half up half down style with a braid and I chose a loose romantic low bun and everything came out just beautiful. Our hair and makeup stayed all night through dancing and hugging and even a couple of wind gusts while we were getting photos down by the lake! Thank you to all of the ladies at Lipstick & Lashes who helped our day to be as amazing as it was. And thank you to Joanna for always responding so promptly and being so incredibly patient with all of my questions! I promise to post pics once we get our final images back!

Thank you to the ladies at Lipstick and Lashes for a great experience. My wedding was in June and it was a pretty hot day so I was a little worried about everything staying. The makeup and hair were flawless and the team of artists worked so efficiently which got us all finished with time to spare. By the end of the night after dancing and crying (happy tears of course) everything was still looking amazing! I’m so happy I chose Lipstick and Lashes for my wedding!

Joanna did my hair and makeup for my wedding in December 2021 and both turned out PERFECTLY. I'm a "90 Day Fiance" so I had less than 90 days to plan and have my wedding which is a really short amount of time. I found Lipstick N Lashes online, looked through their previous photos and decided to go with Joanna after a Facetime session where she could see my hair (COVID was also going on during this time). Joanna was great to work with from start to finish. I sent her a few photos of what I was hoping to look like on the big day and she was able to deliver. I received so many compliments and the makeup/hair lasted well into the night. I love my wedding photos because I still look like me, just a much better version of me!! My experience with Lipstick N Lashes was AMAZING! Joanna is incredible!!! We tried a couple of different makeup looks during my trial, and she gave me the natural and flawless look I wanted for my wedding day. Candy was absolutely amazing! She did my make up and hair and all my other bridesmaids hair as well! She got to our Airbnb at 9am and finished by 12:30. My makeup was flawless and didn’t come off as hard as I tried (crying and dancing). I highly recommend using anyone from Lipstick n lashes for any party/ wedding you are going to or will have!

The hair and makeup services provided by Joanna and her daughter were everything we could have hoped for and more! From the very beginning Joanna was easy to communicate with and very transparent and accommodating (including when we had to re-schedule due to COVID). I knew that I wanted on-site services, so we could all relax at our Airbnb the morning of the wedding while getting ready, and Joanna made this vision a reality. Joanna and her daughter were punctual, professional, skilled, and fun -- it made for such a wonderful and relaxed morning! She listened to requests and concerns from myself and my bridesmaids and we were all extremely happy with our beautiful hair and makeup. 10/10 would recommend!

Joanna and her team did a great job! I absolutely loved my look for my wedding in Lake Placid, and my bridal party looked great too. The team was willing to redo hairstyles/makeup if someone hadn't properly communicated the look she wanted the first time, and the team made no fuss about it. I especially appreciated that we could start at 10 am, instead of at dawn, for an afternoon wedding. There's definitely a reason this company has so many 5-star reviews!
