Lisa Ann Photography - modern, romantic + timeless

ly want to remember. Thank you, Lisa!!

pushy. When we got our gallery back, we were honestly surprised by how many great candid shots there were like people laughing, reactions during the ceremony, the energy on the dance floor. The photos have that timeless look without feeling overly edited. If you want someone who’s professional, calm, and genuinely knows how to tell the story of the day, Lisa is it. We’re so happy we chose her!

steady presence. She gave great direction when we needed it (without ever making things feel stiff or staged) and captured so many candid moments we didn’t even realize were happening. Our photos are stunning..beautiful light, true-to-life color, and so much emotion. She documented all the meaningful moments, the little details, and the in-between moments with our friends and family. We’ve gotten nonstop compliments, and we’re so grateful to have these memories captured so perfectly. If you’re getting married in Rhode Island (or anywhere!), hire Lisa.

e photos turned out absolutely beautiful—candid, emotional, and truly reflective of the day. We’re so grateful to have these memories to look back on, and we can’t recommend Lisa enough.

o come <3

a really took the time to understand what we wanted and captured every special moment, from the candid smiles to the big group shots, in such a natural way. We never felt posed or awkward, and the photos turned out stunning! Our friends and family have been raving about how beautiful everything looks, and we couldn’t agree more. If you're looking for a photographer who’s not only talented but also makes you feel totally at ease, we highly recommend Lisa. Thank you for making our day even more memorable!!

while we were at the altar and yet she got so many different angles. She works alone, which can obviously be difficult, so make sure to plan out everything with her ahead of time. This wasn't a problem though; she's always willing to hop on a call in the build up to the big day.

started through delivery of our beautiful album. On our wedding day, she was a calm and organized presence- exactly what you need! Even better, her husband Kris was her second photographer, and their teamwork made the day even more fun! They already knew (and were highly respected by) many of our other vendors, which helped the flow of the day even more. Not to mention, we now have the most beautiful photos to remember the day by!! No question, you need Lisa!!

guidance to ensure the best shots. Lisa was punctual, communicative, and exuded kindness throughout. The turnaround time for the photos was quick, and we can't be more thrilled with the results. Our wedding guests were also really impressed, with some reaching out afterwards to ask for her contact details to reach out. I wouldn't hesitate to hire Lisa again for any future photography needs!

ping communication flowing. My husband and I typically feel a bit awkward in front of a camera, but she worked her charm, making us so comfortable that we forgot she was even taking pictures. Our guests also raved about her, appreciating her gracious and unobtrusive approach. I can't praise her enough!

was seriously the best day ever, and Lisa played a big part in that. We were fortunate to have her as our photographer for both our engagement shoot and the big day. I stumbled upon Lisa's work while wedding planning, and I instantly fell in love. Her knack for capturing those genuine, intimate moments where you can feel the real emotions in a photo caught my eye. I've been to over 10 weddings, so I knew what I didn't want—those forced, fake smiles and stiff poses. I wanted photos that felt authentic, and Lisa delivered that and more. I'm totally awkward in front of a camera—awkward smile, stiff hands, the whole deal. But Lisa has this magical ability to help us relax, have fun, and enjoy the whole process. Lisa's talent for capturing lighting, landscapes, and emotions is unparalleled. Everything looked natural, but you could tell it was professionally done. To capture those unforgettable moments on the best day of our lives was truly priceless. She's not only fun to work with, but in my opinion, she's at the top of her game. I'll definitely be reaching out to Lisa for future life events. I trust her completely to bring photos to life and make people shine!

ect choice for our wedding photographer. Maintaining open communication was crucial for us, and Lisa consistently delivered, ensuring we were always well-informed and aligned in the lead-up to our big day. Promptly addressing our questions and making herself readily available alleviated any wedding planning-related anxieties I had. Lisa's dedication to capturing genuine moments was evident in every photo, surpassing our expectations. Going the extra mile to create a comfortable atmosphere, Lisa's dedication to her craft left a lasting impression. Her attention to detail and ability to convey emotions through each image were truly remarkable. We are immensely grateful to Lisa for playing a pivotal role in documenting our fairytale wedding, turning our dreams into reality with authenticity and artistry!

photos being taken but was left with so many amazing shots.

quiry. In our conversation with Lisa, we immediately sensed her authenticity and genuine nature. Her passion for her work and the joy she finds in her job are palpable. This passion contributes to the incredible results in her photos. Based on her impeccable work alone, I highly recommend booking Lisa for your wedding photography. Thank you Lisa!

couldn't attend our event later viewed our pictures and expressed feeling the immense joy and love of the day. Lisa's exceptional approach as a photographer stands out in every aspect. She offers gentle guidance when necessary, skillfully capturing the pure magic of the day in a way I've never encountered before. Meeting and hiring Lisa was a true blessing, and we feel grateful for the experience.

le so we were excited to have her for our wedding day. Our collection of beautiful photos Lisa delivered will be cherished memories for the rest of our life!

kind, and helpful manner that was exactly what we needed. Better yet, we love our photos :) Thank you for everything, Lisa!! <3

our special day so perfectly! We highly recommend her to anyone!!!!

vision. We provided her with a shot list of what we wanted for the day and she hit every single one! Our relatives could not believe how quick and painless the family portraits were and she even got great shots of our very young nieces (2 years old and 3 years old so you know that can be tough) as flower girls. She gave us great direction for bridal party shots and had so many helpful ideas for poses and angles. We just got our photos today and they came out better than we could have hoped for! We would recommend Lisa for any photography needs

the final delivery of our wedding photos, Lisa exhibited professionalism, creativity, and exceptional skill. Right from the start, Lisa took the time to understand our vision for our special day. She patiently listened to our ideas and preferences, ensuring she captured every moment and detail that was important to us. Lisa was very accommodating and even captured a bunch of extra photos not discussed during our call. On the wedding day, Lisa arrived well-prepared, and exuded a calm and reassuring presence that helped us relax and enjoy the entire process. She seamlessly blended into the background, capturing both candid moments and staged shots. Not only did Lisa capture the big moments flawlessly, but she also captured the small, intimate moments that we would have otherwise missed in the whirlwind of the day. Lisa’s light-and-airy editing style perfectly complemented the mood and ambiance of our wedding, creating a timeless feel in every photograph! Lisa’s talent, passion, and dedication to her craft are evident in every aspect of her work. We cannot recommend her highly enough to any couple looking to capture the essence and beauty of their wedding day. Thank you, Lisa, for your exceptional work and for giving us a beautiful collection of photographs that perfectly encapsulate the love and joy we felt on our special day :)

with Lisa beforehand about what we wanted, and provided her with a shot list (even though she said she didn't need one). We wanted photos of our guests (some of whom had flown from other countries), the wedding venue (a historical home and gardens) the decor (which I did myself), and the food and wine (my husband works in wine, and we stressed how important this was). We received none of these. What got was mostly posed, cheesy shots of the two of us, most of which contained only the back of my husband's head. Moreover, the day of the wedding, Lisa seemed stressed and overwhelmed. Though she knew it was an outdoor wedding, she kept complaining about the bugs. She also completely disregarded our shot list. Our first look was taken in the parking lot of our venue. There was no photo of us walking down the aisle as husband and wife. We had to chase her down to take pictures of the guests during cocktail hour. During our reception, she spent the majority of her time chatting with our DJ. There were very few photos of the reception at all. Lisa did take some beautiful posed photos of our families, and she did give us a complimentary photo album in exchange for our troubles, but overall we feel our experience was not worth what we paid.

spoke with her over the phone, we knew we had found exactly what we had been looking for. Words cannot express how much we love the photos and how beautifully Lisa captured our wedding. We look at our pictures regularly and every time we are so vividly reminded of how perfect the day was. Lisa is great to work with, highly accommodating, and a true professional. She depicted going the extra mile when letting us take far more large group photos than we originally planned for, and they all came out wonderfully. Lisa is extremely talented and I would without a doubt recommend her for your wedding day!

ere the venue was or the plan for where the pictures would be even though we had discussed it all on a call the week prior. When she arrived at the getting-ready suite she was late and stressed. Everyone in my wedding party commented to me how she changed the vibe of the room to stress. When we went for the first look she told me we were running late (we weren't) and then proceeded to take over 25 minutes to set up the shot. She keep pushing me to go outside in the rain even though I clearly stated I did not want to. Everyone in the wedding party agreed she was slow moving to line up pictures and had mostly awkward shots. We had discussed how we mostly wanted candidate shots- we did not do any. They were all awkward forced scenarios. I had to take control of family photos because she really did not seem to know how to get them done efficiently. And lastly, she had to be asked to go take pictures of the guest when she was snaking on our food instead of working (different food from the dinner we bought her). As for the actual photos- they were beyond disappointing. The quality of the photos was honestly horrible. Iphone photos from the day look a million times better. The photos are grainy and the colors are way off. Black suits and dresses look yellow-green. Faces are blurry. When we asked if she could fix the photos she states that she had the wrong setting on and it was hard without flash. Not sure why she wouldn't use flash at a wedding???!!! She tried to fix about 100 photos but they don't look any better. She also got strange angles and often had things blocking pictures. For example, the only pictures of me walking down the aisle are blocked by stairwells so it is not a clear shot. Overall I would not recommend Lisa. She is not professional and her photos were horrible. She was the only stressful part of my wedding and her photos were equally as bad. She did offer to print 100 photos out for us because the photos came out bad- I don't need $10 worth of bad pictures.

ll of the moments so perfectly. Lisa is such a professional and so easy to work with. We couldn't be happier hiring Lisa as our photographer. If you're on the fence, do it, go hire Lisa! She is an incredible photographer. Thank you Lisa!

that this was going to be the vendor I would be pickiest about, so she let me tackle this one.) From our first phone call with Lisa, two things became clear: (1) she’s a professional with a lot of experience, and (2) she’s a team player that was not going to force us into her way of doing things. Lisa was super helpful during the planning process, offering gentle realistic guidance that improved our wedding day. She is reasonable, down to earth, and provided exactly what we were looking for. On our big day, Lisa brought along Courtney as a second shooter, and they were both friendly and easy to work with throughout our 10 hour session. They worked great together – one of them capturing the “main” shot, while the other worked a different, interesting angle. We took pictures in a variety of lighting conditions, including a dimly lit church and by a very sunny Charles River, and everything came out great. Lisa and Courtney efficiently worked through our extensive shot list, leaving plenty of time for candids at cocktail hour. Lisa does all the editing herself and had our full gallery ready in less than a month. Since she sent us the link, we’ve gone through it at least 10 times – remembering a new favorite moment on each pass. Lisa has been extremely responsive throughout the whole process, and she definitely went the extra mile of a few of our special requests. We would definitely recommend trusting Lisa to capture your special day!

ed our pictures, she truly delivered! We couldn’t be happier with how they came out. She doesn’t have a huge presence on social media but we came across her page on the knot after reading her raving reviews. We are so happy we went with her!! Her style is exactly as described- light & airy! Her assistant Courtney was also a pleasure to have apart of our wedding day. If you are looking for modern, romantic style of pictures that are light and airy- you won’t be disappointed!

day. Thank you Lisa!!

ds, understanding what was important to us, and even putting together a hypothetical photography timeline...which we found to be very helpful! We were also drawn to her warm, friendly, and down-to-earth personality, but also found her to be extremely thoughtful and attentive to detail. Every step of the way, she has been considerate and beyond accommodating. On our wedding day, she was great at keeping us relaxed (and having fun!) while grabbing all of the photos we wanted -- and more. Our leather album just came in the mail this week and we could not be happier with the moments specially captured in her beautiful photography style. We are so fortunate to have Lisa as the photographer for our wedding day and would absolutely recommend her!

pful in all aspects of the planning process. She did a great job making sure she captured moments we wanted. Her assistant Courtney was also wonderful! She made sure to capture additional special moments for us!

so due to COVID our original wedding date was postponed and Lisa was very understanding and flexible when we needed to change the date. In addition the pictures were edited and sent back to us in a timely manner. I would definitely recommend Lisa for your engagement/ wedding photos!

dating about the move. She took away all of the stress of hiring a photographer for our wedding. The pictures for our wedding came out amazing!! We absolutely love them and have had multiple comments about how amazing they came out from friends and family. She had a great eye for finding good locations around our wedding venue and the lighting of photos was amazing!! My husband and I are usually very awkward in photos and we don’t typically like them but she did an amazing job of making us very comfortable throughout the whole process. She got pictures of things I didn’t even think of and I’m so happy that we have them! I would strongly recommend hiring Lisa Ann Photography for your wedding!

and flexible. During our big day she had great ideas on how get the best pictures. She made us all feel so comfortable during the whole day. I would also highly recommend doing an engagement session with her as you get a sense of her style. If you need a fabulous photographer hire Lisa!

ease while doing it. We had such a fantastic time working with Lisa, it seemed like we had known her for years! Even though it was a very small elopement, we still wanted to capture and remember the moments of that day. And wow, Lisa really knocked it out of the park! Lisa went above and beyond for our little elopement. I cannot recommend Lisa enough!

st professional, super talented and the sweetest person ever. We absolutely fell in love with our wedding pictures as soon as we saw them. Highly recommended!! Thank you, Lisa <3

matched perfectly with what we were looking for. Her pictures are effortlessly beautiful with a light and airy touch. Lisa was amazing to work with, with all of the uncertainty with COVID she remined in contact with us and adapted to all of the restrictions that were put in place and ensured that we still captured all of the important pictures we wanted. We can't wait to see how they all turned out!

out. To start, how she describes her style is perfect: "light and airy", they are all so summery, bright, and natural. She captured so many raw candid moments that just radiate love from our family, friends, and the two of us in a way I've never seen before. Your wedding day passes by so quickly you don't realize how much you miss and looking at the photos of everyone so happy and in the moment, it's so emotional realizing Lisa gave us back those moments we would've never been able to see. They are something we will truly cherish forever. She has a great ability to get a sense of who you are as a couple, making the collection a perfect mix of those classic poses you can't pass up and a whole bunch of unique, personalized ones that could never quite be duplicated because it's so "us"! Something else worth mentioning, her editing skills are on point. I know that because it was H-O-T that day and we were all sweating bullets and you would never ever know it ha! Lastly I want to say, she is a total delight to work with. Very sweet, professional, easy-going, genuine...I could go on all day! We are a corona-couple so there were a LOT of changes and she was so flexible and rolled with it and reassured us she'd be there every speed bump we hit along the way. Not just on the client end, but she was flexible and respectful of the other vendors and guests as well. I honestly can't recommend her enough. Thank you so much Lisa, for everything!

wedding in a few months. She was very responsive, flexible with the short notice, and turned the photos around quickly. The day of, she understood our initial hesitation and took "warm up" shots that loosened us up. She had tons of inspiration photos ready for us to mimic, which was appreciated and needed because I had not had time to plan out specific shots. Beyond the superb quality of service, the photos exceeded my high expectations. She captured the love the feel for each other and our excitement to tie the knot. Saying I don't dislike how I look in even one of the photos is an understatement, but personally noteworthy as I don't consider myself photogenic. The entire experience was extremely positive and I high recommend securing Lisa as your photographer.

couples throughout the entire process. Hiring Lisa feels like having a best friend take your photos, making you feel completely at ease. Lisa's experience and professionalism really shined through on our wedding day, allowing us to relax and have the best day of our life! If you’re thinking about booking Lisa for your wedding, or engagement session DO IT! She has captured memories we will cherish forever and we're very confident she'll do the same for you!
