Lisa was friendly, professional, and efficient! She was very communicative before the wedding and we had a great call the week before making us feel like she really understood our vision. We provided her with a shot list of what we wanted for the day and she hit every single one! Our relatives could not believe how quick and painless the family portraits were and she even got great shots of our very young nieces (2 years old and 3 years old so you know that can be tough) as flower girls. We recently had the pleasure of hiring Lisa as our wedding photographer, and we cannot express how thrilled we are with the experience and results. Sadly, I would not recommend Lisa. We got married in a beautiful location on a summer day in July, but very few of our photos reflect the beauty of our venue. We had conversations with Lisa beforehand about what we wanted, and provided her with a shot list (even though she said she didn't need one). We wanted photos of our guests (some of whom had flown from other countries), the wedding venue (a historical home and gardens) the decor (which I did myself), and the food and wine (my husband works in wine, and we stressed how important this was). We received none of these. What got was mostly posed, cheesy shots of the two of us, most of which contained only the back of my husband's head. Moreover, the day of the wedding, Lisa seemed stressed and overwhelmed. Though she knew it was an outdoor wedding, she kept complaining about the bugs. She also completely disregarded our shot list. Our first look was taken in the parking lot of our venue. There was no photo of us walking down the aisle as husband and wife. We had to chase her down to take pictures of the guests during cocktail hour. During our reception, she spent the majority of her time chatting with our DJ. There were very few photos of the reception at all. Lisa did take some beautiful posed photos of our families, and she did give us a complimentary photo album in exchange for our troubles, but overall we feel our experience was not worth what we paid.

We spent endless hours searching for photographers that would be able to perfectly depict our wedding day as we envisioned it. When we stumbled upon Lisa, viewed her portfolio, and spoke with her over the phone, we knew we had found exactly what we had been looking for. Words cannot express how much we love the photos and how beautifully Lisa captured our wedding. We look at our pictures regularly and every time we are so vividly reminded of how perfect the day was. Lisa is great to work with, highly accommodating, and a true professional. She depicted going the extra mile when letting us take far more large group photos than we originally planned for, and they all came out wonderfully. Lisa is extremely talented and I would without a doubt recommend her for your wedding day!

I would not recommend Lisa to any couple. I feel bad leaving this review but I just want others to be aware. First of all, day of the wedding, she was not great. She didn't know where the venue was or the plan for where the pictures would be even though we had discussed it all on a call the week prior. When she arrived at the getting-ready suite she was late and stressed. Everyone in my wedding party commented to me how she changed the vibe of the room to stress. When we went for the first look she told me we were running late (we weren't) and then proceeded to take over 25 minutes to set up the shot. She keep pushing me to go outside in the rain even though I clearly stated I did not want to. Everyone in the wedding party agreed she was slow moving to line up pictures and had mostly awkward shots. We had discussed how we mostly wanted candidate shots- we did not do any. They were all awkward forced scenarios. I had to take control of family photos because she really did not seem to know how to get them done efficiently. And lastly, she had to be asked to go take pictures of the guest when she was snaking on our food instead of working (different food from the dinner we bought her). As for the actual photos- they were beyond disappointing. The quality of the photos was honestly horrible. Iphone photos from the day look a million times better. The photos are grainy and the colors are way off. Black suits and dresses look yellow-green. Faces are blurry. When we asked if she could fix the photos she states that she had the wrong setting on and it was hard without flash. Not sure why she wouldn't use flash at a wedding???!!! She tried to fix about 100 photos but they don't look any better. She also got strange angles and often had things blocking pictures. For example, the only pictures of me walking down the aisle are blocked by stairwells so it is not a clear shot. Overall I would not recommend Lisa. She is not professional and her photos were horrible. She was the only stressful part of my wedding and her photos were equally as bad. She did offer to print 100 photos out for us because the photos came out bad- I don't need $10 worth of bad pictures.

We just received our photos and couldn't be more excited about them. They turned out even better than our expectations. We spent a lot of time searching for the perfect wedding photographer, and Lisa nailed it! (For context, I’m an amateur photographer with a decade of experience, and my wife knew that this was going to be the vendor I would be pickiest about, so she let me tackle this one.) From our first phone call with Lisa, two things became clear: (1) she’s a professional with a lot of experience, and (2) she’s a team player that was not going to force us into her way of doing things. Lisa was super helpful during the planning process, offering gentle realistic guidance that improved our wedding day. She is reasonable, down to earth, and provided exactly what we were looking for. On our big day, Lisa brought along Courtney as a second shooter, and they were both friendly and easy to work with throughout our 10 hour session. They worked great together – one of them capturing the “main” shot, while the other worked a different, interesting angle. We took pictures in a variety of lighting conditions, including a dimly lit church and by a very sunny Charles River, and everything came out great. Lisa and Courtney efficiently worked through our extensive shot list, leaving plenty of time for candids at cocktail hour. Lisa does all the editing herself and had our full gallery ready in less than a month. Since she sent us the link, we’ve gone through it at least 10 times – remembering a new favorite moment on each pass. Lisa has been extremely responsive throughout the whole process, and she definitely went the extra mile of a few of our special requests. We would definitely recommend trusting Lisa to capture your special day!

When we were researching photographers, we were immediately drawn to Lisa's beautiful light and airy style. Lisa spent a lot of time with us on the first call, listening to our needs, understanding what was important to us, and even putting together a hypothetical photography timeline...which we found to be very helpful! We were also drawn to her warm, friendly, and down-to-earth personality, but also found her to be extremely thoughtful and attentive to detail. Every step of the way, she has been considerate and beyond accommodating. On our wedding day, she was great at keeping us relaxed (and having fun!) while grabbing all of the photos we wanted -- and more. Our leather album just came in the mail this week and we could not be happier with the moments specially captured in her beautiful photography style. Also due to COVID our original wedding date was postponed and Lisa was very understanding and flexible when we needed to change the date. Lisa is wonderful to work with! She is very punctual, easy to talk to, and very professional. We had to reschedule the wedding multiple times due to COVID-19 and she was so accommodating about the move. She took away all of the stress of hiring a photographer for our wedding. Lisa was absolutely fabulous for our last-minute elopement due to Covid! Not only did she capture amazing moments and gorgeous photographs, but she made us feel comfortable and at-ease while doing it. Photography was one of the most important vendors for my husband and I to choose. We instantly knew Lisa was a good fit after reviewing her catalog. Her timeless and classic style matched perfectly with what we were looking for. Her pictures are effortlessly beautiful with a light and airy touch. Lisa was amazing to work with, with all of the uncertainty with COVID she remined in contact with us and adapted to all of the restrictions that were put in place and ensured that we still captured all of the important pictures we wanted. Lisa photographed our wedding on 08/22/20 (she also did our engagement shoot many moons ago) and she is AMAZING! My husband and I are so thrilled with how every single picture came out. To start, how she describes her style is perfect: "light and airy", they are all so summery, bright, and natural. She captured so many raw candid moments that just radiate love from our family, friends, and the two of us in a way I've never seen before. Your wedding day passes by so quickly you don't realize how much you miss and looking at the photos of everyone so happy and in the moment, it's so emotional realizing Lisa gave us back those moments we would've never been able to see. They are something we will truly cherish forever. She has a great ability to get a sense of who you are as a couple, making the collection a perfect mix of those classic poses you can't pass up and a whole bunch of unique, personalized ones that could never quite be duplicated because it's so "us"! Something else worth mentioning, her editing skills are on point. I know that because it was H-O-T that day and we were all sweating bullets and you would never ever know it ha! Lastly I want to say, she is a total delight to work with. Very sweet, professional, easy-going, genuine...I could go on all day! We are a corona-couple so there were a LOT of changes and she was so flexible and rolled with it and reassured us she'd be there every speed bump we hit along the way. Not just on the client end, but she was flexible and respectful of the other vendors and guests as well. I honestly can't recommend her enough. Thank you so much Lisa, for everything!

My fiance and I are absolutely thrilled with how well the photographs turned out! We booked last minute engagement photos with Lisa after deciding we'll have a small, out-of-state wedding in a few months. She was very responsive, flexible with the short notice, and turned the photos around quickly. The day of, she understood our initial hesitation and took "warm up" shots that loosened us up. She had tons of inspiration photos ready for us to mimic, which was appreciated and needed because I had not had time to plan out specific shots. Beyond the superb quality of service, the photos exceeded my high expectations. She captured the love the feel for each other and our excitement to tie the knot. Saying I don't dislike how I look in even one of the photos is an understatement, but personally noteworthy as I don't consider myself photogenic. Lisa was an absolute pleasure to work with! My husband and I recently received the photos from our wedding in November and are in love with them. Lisa made sure she understood my husband and I’s wants for photos on our wedding day beforehand and did a great job making everything happen. She provided great instruction and suggestions on poses which was a relief as I am not great at posing for pictures! They came out natural looking, not forced. The gallery we received was a wonderful mix of both photos of Drew and I, our wedding party and family, and our wedding guests! The feedback on our photos has been overwhelmingly positive and everyone loves them as much as my husband and I. Overall it was just such a great experience working with Lisa (and her second photographer!!). Highly recommend!!

So let me start out by saying I live in Sweden and we planned our wedding long-distance with some phone calls made by relatives, but ultimately making our vendor selections online based on reviews such as the one you are reading. We checked out Lisa’s website and the pictures say it all as far as photography goes. That’s talent for you. But what the pictures don’t mention is Lisa as a person and how wonderful she is to work with. We met via Skype (knowing we wouldn’t be able to officially meet until weeks before our wedding). From that moment we instantly felt comfortable communicating with her. She was warm, friendly, and receptive. She was very clear and informative as well. Come the wedding day she was very quick on her feet to come up with ideas at a venue she’d only researched as well as very nice company. We wish she could have been apart of dinner with the guests but the venue had a strange policy about vendors sitting in a separate room. It’s too bad because the guests would have gotten along great with her she’s genuinely a nice and engaging person. After our special day, she’s been nothing but polite and understanding. She responded to our needs and updated us on orders despite being booked up for the wedding season. We really can’t say enough good things about our vendors, from their skill to their kindness. We got REALLY LUCKY or just did our research well. To sum it up, we highly recommend Lisa to be apart of your team and take photos that you’ll look back at with the fondest of memories, you might even weep. The guests got their share of pictures too which they were all absolutely thrilled about- as were we to be able to see all of their smiling faces and feel touched and in my case, at peace, reflecting on how it truly was an amazing day for everyone- despite the small dramas that people sometimes run into along the way of wedding planning. We just received our engagement pics from Lisa and they are beyond beautiful. They are absolutely stunning. Lisa is very professional and easy to talk to. Despite my fiancé and I planning a low-key wedding on 30 days notice, I knew I wanted a professional photographer to capture everything. We had an ambitious timeline that involved multiple shooting sites (sister's home, my home, bus, ceremony boat, restaurant). Not only did Lisa and her associate Amanda not hesitate, but they reacted with enthusiasm and delight at my plans--which seems obvious but was not true of every photographer I was considering. Ultimately, that is why I went with Lisa and Amanda, and I am SO HAPPY with the final photographs. Amanda was a delightful person to have with us on our special day. She gave the perfect amount of direction, and took as many pictures as she needed to get THE one. I am not the best at candids (I blink a lot it seems), but in the final pictures I look fantastic. Lisa handled the arrangements, online gallery, and final edits--they were a wonderful tag team and we couldn't be happier with the documentary style, and the final look and feel of the pictures. They are already such cherished keepsakes from our day. Thank you both!

Where to begin! I’ll start with, I’m not the most photogenic and don’t know how to act in front of a camera. It was no problem with Lisa, she made me and my husband so comfortable, you can see it in the photos! If you look at her work, it’s obvious to see how insanely talented she is, but what you don’t see is that she goes the distance to get the perfect shot. She made sure everything was absolutely perfect, all the time. We are really looking forward to working with Lisa again in the future!!

Lisa is the actually the best! My fiancé and I just did our engagement shoot with her and we are so incredibly happy with how it went. We needed a lottttt of pointers and Lisa had no trouble making us look amazing. She is so down to earth and we love how easy she is to work with. Leading up to the wedding, Lisa was great at helping us plan everything, very detail-oriented and always very receptive to our calls and email. Working with Lisa has been a true pleasure, and we are happy to have found our forever photographer!

Horrible customer service experience!! Always forgot me,even forgot my name, forgot phone meeting, forgot to email confirmation for photo shoot.. I got so upset decided it wasn’t worth it to me.. The only thing she remembered was to send me a invoice . Worst communication ever!!! This was certainly not worth it!!!!

From the very start, Lisa was both professional and laid back. She captured so many wonderful memories from our special day and I look back on the beautiful photos with happy tears! On the day of our wedding, Lisa was able to be direct when needed (it is very easy to get side tracked and our wedding party was a bit rowdy) and kept us on a schedule. She hit all the major photo opportunities such as getting ready photos, ceremony, wedding party, family photos, speeches, dancing and I love that we got to sneak away for some special photos around the venue. I love how Lisa captured scenery photos and photos of the grounds (not just all people photos) which are great to have as I was unable to notice all of the venues beauty due to the busy wedding day. I could go on all day about Lisa but I would just book her so you’re lucky enough to see for yourself!!

Lisa is so sweet and made us feel at ease for our engagement photos. The pictures came out great! We are so happy that Lisa was able to capture these memories and we look forward to working with Lisa again on our wedding day!

Caitlin and I are so grateful to have found Lisa on TheKnot! We were a bit nervous about having our engagement photos taken as we are both a little shy and not terribly photogenic (at least not me). Lisa had a great way of putting us at ease - to the point where we nearly forgot she was there - and as a result we have amazing engagement photos to share with family and friends! Lisa has a keen eye for framing photographs and incorporating the surroundings in an artful way. Caitlin and I had our photo shoot in Boston's North End; Lisa was able to capture the essence of the neighborhood, while maintaining a focus on us and our interactions. We absolutely love Lisa's editing process and are so pleased with the way our pictures turned out. Caitlin and I are so excited to have Lisa be a part of our Wedding Day and recommend her to anyone looking for a wedding/engagement photographer!

We are so glad that we found Lisa on the Knot. We have a small DIY wedding with 50 guests in our own backyard. With a long time planning, we still went through a lot of juggling on our wedding day. And, or course, it was raining... I was a bit worried about the photos before we got them, however they turned out very well! They are artistic, candid and romantic. She captured all elements that we hope to be included and used the rain weather to add a special vibe to it. She is pleasant and cheering and very enjoyable to work with. Thank you Lisa for capturing such fabulous and artistic images of our big day!

I found Lisa on the Knot after we had chosen a different photographer that did not work out. Lisa was diligent and after a day or so after my inquiry she and I spoke on the phone to go over wedding details. I chose her because I liked her style of photography. I wanted someone to be able to catch sweet “moments” rather than just portrait style photos. I received my edited photos about 4 weeks after the wedding which is pretty good. I was a little taken back when my husband and I asked for a “sneak peek” photo about a week later after the wedding and was told she couldn’t do that for us since it was peak wedding season and she was too busy. We understood but were also a little disappointed. My only complaint if one at all would be that I didn’t get any photos of me and my bridesmaids getting ready together or in our robes. By the time Lisa arrived it was near time to do “first look” photos. I wish I had photos of just me and my mom and each bridesmaid individually. None of these types of photos were suggested by Lisa or her 2nd shooter. Some of the edited photos also were “mirror” like or had rainbow effects which is not my personal style so I won’t be using any of those. We noticed the same wedding guests were in majority of the photos given to us, we do not have many diverse photos to give to guests. It is hard to be on top of everything as a bride on your wedding day but I do wish there was more direction from Lisa. Overall the photos are nice and we are happy but as stated above there are a few things we wish happened differently.

Lisa and her team are absolutely amazing. From the first time I spoke to Lisa over the phone, I knew I would be in good hands. I received my photos today (it has only been 5 weeks since the wedding!) and I am blown away. It is amazing to think all these moments were being captured and I didn't even realize it at the moment! I could not hold back tears when I saw our photos today as I felt like I was reliving every single moment. Lisa I would pick you over and over again! Your work is the highest of quality while still being affordable. Thank you for the beautiful memories.

I found Lisa through a friend of mine who had also booked her for her engagement pictures as well as her wedding. When I first reached out to Lisa we spoke on the phone for over an hour just gabbing and she got to know me and understood my vision. My theme is enchanted forest and when we did my engagement photos she hit this right on the head. My pictures just came back the other day and they came out BEAUTIFUL. I would chose her over and over again. She truly captured my fiance and I at our finest, the candid pictures alone were just simply put "US". She totally blew my vision out of the park. Lisa is also SOO accommodating. My fiance was between jobs upon booking and she was so patient and understanding as far as payment along with scheduling. We Love Lisa and cant wait for our wedding were we will work with her again !!

Lisa was so amazing to work with! Before hiring her we talked at length about my aesthetic style and what I was looking for in our photos. During our engagement session, she made us feel so comfortable in front of the camera, and was great at directing us into different poses. Lisa and Nick were so great to have on our wedding day! I told her that I didn't want to spend the whole day posing for photos, and that I wanted a few key posed photos, but I mostly wanted to be able to enjoy my day and simply have it captured naturally... and that they did! Our wedding photos came out beautiful, and we will cherish them forever. My husband and I are so glad we found Lisa, and can't wait to work with her in the future for family sessions!

Lisa is such a delight! She took our engagement photos and we had a blast. Lisa was professional the whole time and knew exactly how to make us feel relaxed and comfortable. She has a natural talent for photography and we could not believe how gorgeous our photos came out. We thought we may get a couple good ones, but we had countless photos that we adore-because of Lisa!! I highly recommend her.

Lisa was great from day one! We spoke in great length before booking and she completely understood my vision for the day. Since we booked so far in advance, she called a couple weeks before the wedding to reconfirm what I was looking for. She was always quick with responding to me throughout the process. We were lucky to receive the photos so quickly after the wedding. It was such a great thing to be able to relive that day through the beautifully done pictures. Her and the second photographer were able to capture the day through portraits and candids. It was a rainy day but they found a way to make the lighting work in all the pictures. The only critique I have came from some of my guests that commented on the casual attire of the photographers.

My fiance and I found Lisa on the Knot and it has been such a wonderful experience. She worked around our busy schedules and was so helpful with selecting a place to do our engagement photos. She is truly a genuine person and we love her!

Lisa was amazing right from the start! She really got to know us right from the first conversation we had. She knew exactly what we were looking for in terms on photography styles. She took the time to listen. During our engagement shoot she made us feel extremely comfortable, we had so much fun!
