Hi! My name is Lisa. I am a photographer with a passion for capturing life as I see it through the lens of my camera. My photography has a documentary style to it, that focuses on capturing your day as it unfolds. I love making time for the little details just as much as the big moments.
Wedding photography has become a huge passion for me. My clients get a very personalized get-to-know-you approach. From the minute I join you during the time you are preparing for your big day, to the last moves on the dance floor, I am right there with you enjoying and soaking up every moment. My documentary-style approach is very unobtrusive, yet we always have a ton of fun at every wedding. By the end of the night, it always feels like parting ways with good friends. This is something every couple I have worked with has appreciated and taken the time to point out. It is a complete honor to get to capture such an intimate milestone with you and your family in this way.
My photography services are available world wide. I frequent both the east and west coasts.

Lisa photographed our wedding in June at Blue Mountain (with a second photographer, Nicole) as well as an engagement photoshoot ahead of that and we are very happy with the photos ...
from both! Lisa had experience photographing at Blue Mountain and had some unique photo spots but made sure to get the classic spots that are what drew us to the venue. Lisa gave us some direction on posing and took some suggestions from us as well to switch up the poses in our photos. Lisa helped us build our timeline for the wedding night and collaborated with the day-of coordinator. It may have been helpful to have a bit more communication - there was a bit of miscommunication around the list of family photos we provided but we were able to work through it on the day of the wedding with Lisa and the day-of coordinator. There were thunderstorms on the day of the wedding which prevented us from being able to take photos outside during cocktail hour, but Lisa worked with the day-of coordinator at the venue and we were able to wait a bit for the weather to clear and take photos on the balcony with much better lighting than indoors! We also coordinated between Lisa and our DJ to have each table come up to the dancefloor to take a photo with us, which was a really fun way to make sure we got a photo with each guest!

d of energy you want on your wedding day. When my now-husband and I saw the photos Lisa took, we were completely astounded. She captured EVERYTHING. Things I don't even remember happening, she got. Stuff I didn't even realize happened, she got. I'm so, so fortunate that Lisa snapped a completely heart-melting photo of my parents holding a photo from their wedding day, 43 years ago. My mother passed away shortly after my wedding, and this photo, along with others of me with my mom, is something I keep staring at. I love it and consider it an absolute treasure. passion. It was very important to me to have someone who could offer valid opinions about getting the best shots rather than just following our suggestions blindly to please us. She arrived right on time the day of and was really thrown into the chaos. Our makeup was running very behind and that was throwing off the timeline we had come up with but Lisa was quick to reassure me that I was not to worry about getting the pictures done - it was her job now! I am also SO happy we picked a package with the second photographer because Lauren was also awesome and got some amazing pictures of the guys getting ready. We just got our highlight pictures back (which was so many!) and have more photos to come and I can't wait to see them as well! They captured so many great images of the day that I honestly didn't feel like I experienced first hand. It really is true what they say about the wedding day going by in the blink of an eye! Looking through the highlight photos with my Husband and Mom felt like we were reliving the day minute by minute and some of the candid shots made us laugh out loud.
