tely blew me away. If there was one piece of our wedding that I was extremely picky about, it was picking a photographer. As an art major and lover of beautiful imagery, the photographs of our wedding were going to be that one most important piece to remember our big day with so I had to get the photographer right. There was a specific style I was looking for (light, airy, editorial -- shooting with film was a major plus), and most photographers I looked at were SO expensive and didn't offer much in the packages, or we were turned off when we met with them. When I found Lisa, I had a really good feeling about her (and it was reinforced when my husband was looking at her website and was surprised to see a friend of his designed it). From our initial meeting, we knew that Lisa jived with our style -- not just for the wedding, but as people. My husband and I connected with her on so many different topics that we both knew she was the right photographer for us. Lisa was so easy to work with for both our engagement session when we told her we wanted to get photographs at one of our favorite micro-brews, to our wedding where we chose some out of the box locations to shoot. She rolled with it and the final product blew us away. Some of our favorite pictures from the day were photos of us at our favorite local brewery, 4 Hands, where she was able to clear the bar out to get pictures of the wedding party and even got us behind the scenes. Lisa was able to capture the natural happiness and emotion from the day and nothing ever seemed forced with her shooting style -- even when there were 15mph winds on a 30 degree January day outside. She is an absolute dream to work with and I would recommend her a million times over.
