Lisa and Nicole are the sweetest, most fun and easy going photographers! My wedding was in May of 2023 and my husband Jeff and I could not be happier with how all the pictures turned out, and how quickly we got the full gallery back! The pictures really brought us back to that wonderful day and all the emotions we felt during all points of the day. The day flew by for us, and being able to look at the most beautiful pictures we’ve ever seen is the most special thing to both of us. I may be biased because I have known Lisa since she picked up a camera back in middle school and never put it down. Her enthusiasm for making sure your day goes to plan and you get your pictures is unmatched. I have admired her style since she started and there was no question when my day came who I wanted to take my wedding photos. Lisa is the BEST! When I reached out, she quickly responded and was informative about what she offered and date availability. Lisa made the whole process easy, even as I added an extra wedding ceremony to be photographed the day before and additional key people that needed to be photographed over the weekend. But she is also prompt, punctual, flexible, and attempts to get to know her couples before shooting their big day. She is detail oriented and took some unique beautiful shots of us! We received all our wedding photos very quickly within a just few weeks. Instagram pages have asked consent to repost our wedding photos on their page because they are just that good!!! We are SO grateful to have had Lisa capture our wedding day! From the very beginning with booking her, she was very responsive, understanding, and so easy and enjoyable to communicate with! For our engagement shoot, she offered several prime locations for us as we were clueless where to even begin. I don’t know where to begin with Lisa and her team. From sending me amazing planning tools, all her help as a covid bride- with amazing recommendations and just chats, to her team. I'm so happy to have hired Lisa and her team for my wedding! A lot of wedding photography nowadays are either very light or dark toned, but Lisa's style is more natural, timeless, yet modern; its the perfect balance. We could not have asked for a better experience with Lisa Hornak. My husband and I got married on June 20, 2020, which was an incredibly stressful time due to the pandemic. We worked with Nicole for our engagement shoot and our wedding. It was absolutely wonderful to work with her. Lisa was absolutely FABULOUS from the first time we spoke and throughout the entire wedding timeline. My husband and I got married in June 2018, and we just received all our wedding day pictures less than a month later. I cannot stop looking at them. Lisa has a great eye! She was great checking in and helping create a time line in the few months leading up to our wedding day. Even when something didn't go as planned or the sky started to look like it was about to pour rain Lisa kept a positive attitude. Lisa was extremely organized with day of pictures with families, and she maintained a steady flow without any chaos. Before she left our wedding she edited a dozen pictures to give us a preview. Lisa is seriously AMAZING! After receiving a first look at our wedding photographs during our wedding reception (like, the photos that she just took of us a few hours earlier), my husband described her as magical - and that's exactly what she is! We were originally connected with Lisa through a friend, and we are so beyond happy that she was able to work with us (I actually wouldn't even decide on a date with my venue until I knew that Lisa was available to photograph our wedding on that day!). From there, we met with Lisa and scheduled an engagement session. She is SUPER flexible - we had to change our original meeting date a few different times due to health issues with my husband, but she was totally okay with this and never made us feel bad about our constant emails and requests pre-wedding! During our engagement session, Lisa just put us at ease. We're not really a PDA-y couple, and we've never had professional photographs of us done before, so we were a little nervous going into it. Lisa made us feel so comfortable and I'm so happy that she includes a free engagement session pre-wedding. I can't even put into words how beautiful our wedding photos turned out. Everything was PERFECT! About two weeks prior to our wedding, there was a 90% chance of rain all day - this had me in a panic. Lisa calmed me down and got right to work preparing. She purchased bubble umbrellas that would look nice in photos, scoped out different spots in the venue that we could take pictures while still being covered, and even offered to stand in the rain for us to get the perfect shot. Luckily, the rain cleared about two days before the wedding, and we were able to take all of our pictures outside! Besides her clear skill and talent, Lisa is just a genuinely nice person. She always makes you feel like you are her number one priority and, through the wedding process, she became more of a friend to me. I cannot recommend Lisa ENOUGH!

We were so lucky to find and have Lisa as our engagement and wedding photographer! She and her team are such incredible and professional artists; I don't think our photos could have been more gorgeous and romantic. Lisa Hornak is a gem! Anyone who looks at her work can clearly see that she takes gorgeous photos, so I’m going to focus on raving about how great she is to work with. Let me start by saying that my husband and I are both blessed with an inability to make non-goofy faces when having our picture taken, so we were a little nervous about being professionally photographed without looking like a couple of awkward dweebs. However, Lisa was able to put us at ease right from the beginning! The awesome thing about Lisa is that she’s a total pro, but also has this great positive energy and down to earth vibe that made us feel as comfortable as possible in front of the camera. I’ve been in/at numerous weddings where the photographer runs way behind schedule during formals or is overly obtrusive during the reception, but Lisa (along with her second shooter, Amanda) was wonderfully organized and an absolute pleasure from start to finish. She even helped our florist (seriously!) pin my dress when I dropped a hem midway through pictures! Lisa’s friendliness, professionalism, artistic skill, and attention to detail are all top-notch. We absolutely love our engagement and wedding photos, and we would recommend Lisa to anyone in a heartbeat!

If I could give more than five stars, I would. Lisa is absolutely everything my husband and I could have wanted in a wedding photographer. I did pretty extensive research on wedding photographers because, for me, the photos were so important and something I would look at and show people constantly. We reached out to several photographers, but none felt right until Lisa and we were so thrilled when she had our date available. Not only is she a breathtakingly talented photographer, but also she is unfailingly kind and supportive and lovely. She went above and beyond to help us create a timeline for the wedding day and was constantly available the week of the wedding for us. Her prices are competitive and her talent and grace are unmatched. I recommend her to everyone, and two of my friends have already booked her. From our first messages and meeting, to our engagement photos, to the whole wedding process and wedding photography, Lisa was extraordinary and I'm so grateful for her. My husband and I are already planning to book her for anniversary photos. I love Lisa!

I can't even begin to express how much I love Lisa!!! From day one when we got our engagement photos, she made us feel so comfortable, at ease, and especially made it fun for us! Through out the whole planning process she was extremely responsive and always concerned with our wants and needs when it came to our photos. After we took our engagement photos, turn around time was very quick. We received all of our photos in about a week. The same can be said about our wedding day. She paid so much attention to detail and made it very fun and relaxing for both of us, as well as our families and friends. 2 days after our wedding she had already created a blog of some of our photos and then we received all the photos after a week. The pictures were absolutely AMAZING! We are soooo happy we decided to go with Lisa because we now have so many great photos to remember our wedding day. My husband and I fell in love with Lisa's photography quickly after seeing pictures she took at our chosen venue. It was perfect timing! We wasted no time in looking up reviews and after reading only great things, I contacted her. She immediately made me feel so excited about the process, even though I am not always so excited about having my picture taken. Lisa made us both feel comfortable in front of the camera and I love her ability to make pictures seem so natural and candid!
