After my initial trial, I wasn't completely in love with the style, and she was incredibly understanding. She graciously invited me back for a second trial so we could make adjustments and get everything just right. That level of care and dedication meant so much to me and made me feel so confident going into my wedding day. Both Lisa and Jenny were so kind, professional, and calming to be around on the morning of the wedding. They helped make getting ready such a fun and relaxing experience. I am a crier, so I was nervous, but even though I cried several times throughout the day, my makeup stayed in place. Melissa did an amazing job with everyone’s hair! I was impressed from my trial. She tried 3 different styles before I was happy, but she never rushed me or made me feel bad about it. And then when the wedding day came, my hair looked even better than the trial! I have trouble with my hair holding curl, but she found a way to make my curls stay even though I was on the dance floor for at least 4 hours that night. Everyone else who got their hair done was thrilled as well. I highly recommend them. They were on time, professional, and had a fun but calming presence.

She was able to create the perfect looks for each bridesmaid, and the mother of groom and my mom were so happy with their makeup, too -- both of them initially concerned because they don't often do a full face of foundation. One thing that really stood out to us was just how patient Lisa was with everything. Our wedding was over MEA weekend in MN, so Lisa's second artists weren't available to help with makeup. She ensured we could work together to set up a timeline that would work for all girls' makeup to be done before photos at noon. The timeline was executed seamlessly, and something that was initially a big stressor of mine ultimately was so calm and easy. Lisa also stayed through a lot of the afternoon, helping with touchups for the bridesmaids, and myself so that I was looking perfect for our photos in the afternoon! She was so kind and so helpful -- plus just the ultimate hype girl to have there on our day! If you're considering Lisa, she is absolutely worth the investment!

She answered my initial inquiry within 48 hours, and had all the information prepared for her packages. Her prices were excellent and she delivered on her services. After booking with her, she responded to my emails within a week (if not sooner), and made setting up my consultation easy. She prepared the timeline for getting ready on the morning of the wedding, so it was one less thing I had to figure out on my own. The quality of the services they provided was perfection. Everyone's hair and makeup lasted the entire wedding with no need for touchups or reapplications. Lisa and Megan both had the ability to deliver each girl's unique style. I enjoyed working with Lisa Kurtz Makeup & Hair Artistry so much, that I recommended my maid of honor use them for her wedding next year. w when it was their turn. Price is on the spendy side but seems to be about average for the cities. Do be sure to look closely at the fine print for cost of services. Mileage is added after 30 mi not a 30 mi radius (there and back). So anything over 30 miles total was 70 cents a mile PER artist. 18% automatic gratuity is also added and you have to have 4 people not including the bride for each service desired. Eg. 4 people for hair if the bride is doing hair and 4 people for makeup if the bride is doing makeup. This can be very tricky if cost is a concern for some bridesmaids or if you have a small bridal party. Overall Lisa and her team did a great job.

Our hair stylist and makeup artist arrived promptly on the morning of the wedding. They were fun, yet professional and worked with each individual in the bridal party to ensure their hair and makeup were exactly how they wanted it. I was especially pleased when the hair stylist suggested something I hadn’t planned on, and it turned out fantastic. I don’t wear makeup on a daily basis and the makeup artist did a great job in keeping my look very natural. Between the hair and makeup I was told I looked 10 years younger and what mom doesn’t love that! Lisa’s team helped get my daughter’s wedding day off to a great start and everyone was very pleased with the results and value for the price we paid! I would highly recommend a bridal party to Lisa Kurtz!!
