Lisa Marie Photographie

y wedding she photographs. She is organized, creative, calm under pressure, and equipped with top-of-the-line gear, but more importantly, she has a personality that instantly makes you feel comfortable in front of the camera. Getting to have her as my own wedding photographer was truly the best decision my husband and I made. I wanted to have Lisa capture our wedding because (not only is she amazing), I love her style! Lisa is someone who has a lighter, true-to-life editing style — something that’s surprisingly hard to find in the Lake Tahoe / Reno / Carson area — and Lisa delivered beyond anything I could’ve hoped for. Even in less-than-ideal lighting situations (which every photographer dreads!), she made it work flawlessly. That level of technical skill is incredibly rare, and it shows in every single image. Every photo is natural, timeless, and full of emotion. Her candid shots are just as stunning as the posed ones — the laughter, the hugs, the fleeting moments… all captured so beautifully. We will cherish these photos forever. Thank you, Lisa, for giving us memories we can relive again and again. You are an incredible artist and an even more incredible human.

never done professional pictures before so we’re naturally awkward in our engagement shoot and she did an amazing job getting us out of our shell! We kept in contact over the months and by the time the wedding rolled around we were even more excited to work with her. Lisa is truly one of a kind as is any assistant she might bring along! Living 4 hours away will not stop us from having her do all our important shoots from here out. I

to choose from, which made it so much easier to find the perfect spot. Her suggestions were thoughtful and tailored to what I had in mind, and she even shared tips on timing and lighting to ensure the moment was captured beautifully. On the day of the proposal, she was professional, punctual, and went above and beyond to make sure everything went smoothly. The photos turned out absolutely amazing—she perfectly captured the joy and emotion of the moment. If you're looking for someone who is both talented and a true professional, Lisa is the one to hire. Thank you for helping make such a special day unforgettable!

rom the very start and delivered photos that we will cherish forever. We would recommend Lisa to anyone- you will not be disappointed!!

start to finish. From preliminary emails, phone conversations, and inspirational guidance, she’s got it all. Lisa exudes a positive, radiant and playful attitude while keeping timelines moving and everyone smiling. She has an amazing natural ability to get even the most camera shy guests or couples to look and feel their best. From professional headshots in studio, our engagement session in the snow, and a windy wedding day atop the mountain, I can’t thank her enough for bringing out the best in me, my husband, our family and friends. If you’re on the hunt for a professional photographer that goes above and beyond, and who just might become your lifelong friend, look no further!

s so well. From family photos, to proposal/engagement, to our wedding day, she has been nothing short of amazing! I’m so happy with all of our sessions so far, but especially our wedding. I relive that day every time I look at our photos and that’s exactly what we wanted. ✨

ave us like 50 photos! Our wedding was fairly large and we had big wedding parties but she managed it all super well! We couldn’t be happier with them! Lisa we can not thank you enough, and we most definitely will be using you for all future photography needs, as well as sending our friends who are getting married your way!

hroughout. At the wedding, Lisa was an absolute natural managing guests into group shots and helping everyone pose. The sneak peak photos came to us the very next day and we could not have been happier with the results. Happy to say that Lisa is more than a vendor, but also now a friend!

She is kind, funny, and helped answer all of my non photography questions. I’ve only seen sneak peeks of our wedding pics but I can already tell she captured everything I could’ve dreamed of and more. She is also great at communication and getting back to you! Do yourself a favor and book her!!

ng, the positioning, everything! She really went above and beyond to make our wedding perfect. She made my husband and I feel incredibly comfortable in front of the camera and she honestly made our wedding. And the photos!! Gorgeous!! Our weather wasn't the best but somehow she made it look moody and dramatic and they turned out perfect. I would recommend Lisa to anyone looking for a photographer we couldn't have asked for more.

w things. In the end the pictures were better than we ever could have imagined. Thank you Lisa!

packed…it was loud, dark and hot. Lisa was able to capture all the love, laughter, drinks and dance moves! Every sweet smile, quick kiss and pure moments among everyone were just magic and she was able to catch it all! I appreciate her help with ideas and a timeline, lord knows I had no idea where to start. She was thoughtful and communicative, I truly couldn’t have asked for more! I’m thankful we connected and just goes to show you how powerful word of mouth referrals can be!

rollin!

ill look back at them all the time and are so grateful! I even loved her so much we wanted to do more photos with her when our daughter was born! If you are looking for an amazing wedding photographer, please please use Lisa! I couldn’t be any happier!

the wedding. Because of her, our wedding was amazing because of the collection of vendors she recommended. My husband and I aren’t the best at posing for photos, and Lisa was able to direct us to have stunning photos. Also, Lisa is just a fantastic human so that’s an added plus!

or our photos. We happen to have had a large snow storm on our wedding day and Lisa still braved the weather with us to get our snowy wonderland photos. Then she helped us by doing an additional “Day After” photo shoot a month later in the snow when we had time to explore the places that meant the most to us. In the West Shore of Lake Tahoe she took photos of us with our dog, we went to Homewood ski resort and took skiing photos, and she hiked up eagle rock with us for the most insanely magical photos in the winter. She is all around so incredible! I love our photos and will cherish them forever. Lisa is the best!

r again for family pics in the future!

ad so many locations she was willing to do for our engagement photos and was open to try new spots! We ended up choosing 2 locations, one that she had never done before. My spouse and I have never had a professional photo shoot done and we are both very awkward in front of the camera, but Lisa was patient and helped loosen us up. Now to the main event- Lisa checked in with me many times prior to the wedding, and even texted me the morning of asking if I needed anything! She showed up to the wedding early and was so kind to me even though I had nothing ready for her to shoot yet! Throughout the entire evening she guided me on what to do next, where to go and was involved in every detail. I felt like between her and my maid of honor nothing could go wrong. I was extremely scatter brained and had no idea what I was doing, but Lisa was by my side. And all of our photos turned out so beautiful!!! We will be using Lisa for all of our future photos and I can't wait to sip some beers after!! Love you Lisa♡

us get a little brave in the cliffs to get some amazing shots. She was professional, sweet, timely, and captured an unreal amount of pictures in the two hours!! She totally captured my vision for the scenery and a romantic vibe, and these are going to be pictures we cherish for the rest of our lives! Thank you so much again, Lisa!

of professional engagement photos the day of so we may share it with our loved ones. Thanks again for everything Lisa!

isa - she has incredible energy and her enthusiasm is contagious. Not only did we get good pics from our session - we fully enjoyed it! She has vision and knows the Tahoe area well but is also open to ideas and feedback, and she was super quick with providing peeks and the real photos themselves. Highly recommend. We're getting married outside of the country but otherwise would work with Lisa for other shoots!

m & making them perfect! She’s also a BLAST to be around! 🤍🤍🤍

This was a surprise proposal and she was more than on board with making the moment perfect! We were only in town for a vacation proposal or we would use Lisa for our wedding.

capturing a lot of candid shots which I appreciate. Lisa is professional, great at communicating and gets the perfect shot every time.

. She is a true professional and really felt like a member of our wedding party and family. My husband and I had different ideas of how photos should be done and she accomplished both beautifully. Lisa is worth every cent and captured so many great moments of our day. 😍

enjoy the moment of our day. She provided plenty of tips and made us feel so comfortable in front of the camera. Her second photographer was fantastic as well. What truly made Lisa stand out above all else though, is that we had a tragic family event occur during our planning processs that even interfered with our engagement session. Lisa was so supportive and accomodating during our time of need and it meant the world to me. We fell behind on planning after and she even checked in to see if we still needed any vendors she could recommend, and she saved the day with referring me to an incredible H+MUA when all the ones I had reached out to were booked. All our photos were ready in the stated time period and we’ve received so many compliments! She even sent a few sneak peak photos before leaving the wedding! I can’t thank Lisa enough for the heart she clearly puts into her work and her assistance throughout our entire planning process ❤️ Highly recommend!

made it easy for us to create a timeline that worked for our special day. She was flexible on the day of the ceremony and made all of the family photos a breeze! She even stayed longer than contracted to capture special moments from our reception and then had a LONG drive home. We received a lot of sneak peeks the next day and were able to through them before our honeymoon officially started!

e-racking for a bride but this was not the case at all with Lisa. Prior to our big day, Lisa took the time to meet with us virtually multiple times over zoom (we live in the Bay Area) throughout the planning process to ensure that we were all on the same page regarding timeline, specific photos we would like to have with friends and family, and to simply just get to know us as a couple. Even for knowing Lisa for just a short while, she was able to capture our day beautifully. Each photo represents my husband and I so naturally. We truly felt like we could be ourselves in front of the camera and this is such a hard thing to do as a photographer and Lisa couldn't have made us feel more comfortable. We had so much fun shooting, too! It didn't feel like just taking pictures, it felt like she was there celebrating our day with us and shooting times were camouflaged in our day so flawlessly; they never stuck out like a sore thumb and it didn't feel out of place. She was calm, exceptionally flexible, professional, patient, and personable. We will cherish the photos she took for us forever and ever. All of our guests said her photos were "Pinterest-Approved!" and we couldn't agree more. We love Lisa and we will be booking future pictures with her, I am sure!

our special day, and being such a delight to be around as well! Would highly recommend her not only for wedding, but any photography services you are looking for. You won’t be disappointed! 5 Stars across the board!

, and so amazing. My husband isn’t the most cooperative when taking pictures but Lisa made is to easy and fun for us. You can tell how much thought and consideration went into our day and I still stare in awe at my wedding pictures. This was also the last day i got to spend with my dad and I can’t thank her enough for capturing him in the best way. Not only did she crush our wedding day, she brought champagne bottles for the end of the night that created the most epic champagne spray pictures. I am so thankful for Lisa and her amazing work. If I could have her capture all of the important moments in my life, I would not thing twice!

ys so responsive, made time to answer any of my questions or brainstorm on ideas and day of timelines. The turn around time to get both our sneak peeks and the final album exceeded our expectations! Lisa was also really great when I wanted a photo adjusted to B/W or a closer up image. I would recommend her any photoshoot needs!

y patient with my crazy family :) And she got a sneak peak (like 30+ photos which is a big sneak peak if you ask me) back to us only a week after the wedding. HUGE bonus for me. Will be recommending her to everyone. Also she went the extra mile. I didnt end up getting a videographer and she still took some quick videos and texted them to me the next day. Above and beyond. Thanks Lisa!!

1. She got to know us as a couple before the wedding and 2. I got to look at those photos A LOT during the pandemic and while we were constantly rescheduling the date. Lisa was so understanding, professional and just an overall awesome woman. I adore all of our photos and I’m amazed at her talent. I’d recommend her in a heartbeat to all my family and friends.

ctures turned out beautifully. We will definitely be booking her for future events and milestones in our lives. We cannot recommend her enough!

different poses, we thought she was crazy at times, but trust her--it gets the perfect shot. We got our sneak peek for our wedding a week ago and I already am in love with how the pictures turned out. We can't wait to see the full album!

ng and my go to photographer, as a person who isn't a fan of pictures of myself, Lisa knows how to get me in the right poses comfortably and captures the most amazing pictures!

eryone can’t get over how amazing my wedding photographs are. I highly recommend reaching out to to her and getting to know her! Thanks a million Lisa

p of a mountain to get the perfect shots and then raced to the park to get even more perfect shots. The pictures are absolutely STUNNING. They look straight out of a magazine. She is so much fun and such a pleasure and easy to be around. She made our day perfect and made suggestions that turned out to be exactly what we wanted. I cannot say enough good things about her as a person or her beautiful work. If you want the perfect photographer do not hesitate to hire Lisa!!

hing looks before she takes the pictures i remember countless times through the day where she either fixed my hair or my veil so it wouldn't be in my face for a bride that made me feel like she cared about my day as much as i did and i feel that is so important when choosing a photographer. We couldn't be happier with our wedding photos. Lisa and her team made us feel comfortable and relaxed so our pictures came out natural. I can't thank her and her team enough for an amazing job and look forward to using her for any up coming events and would definitely recommend her.

e to capture the memory, so we reached out to Lisa. She felt like family right away! She gave us several great recommendations for locations and sent encouraging and helpful messages in the weeks leading up. On the day of, she was prepared and thoughtful. At the end of our Zoom ceremony, she even queued up the song we were going to use for our first dance and suggested we "walk down the aisle" to it! We had so much fun shooting with her for the next couple of hours. My face hurt from laughing so much. We invited her back to our hotel for a beer when the shoot was over. If we lived in Tahoe, we'd totally be buds. Do NOT hesitate to hire Lisa. She's the consummate professional and truly a talented photographer!!

r calmness, professionalism, and wonderful personality. Thank you Lisa!!!

photographers for my wedding and knew right away that Lisa was the one. When my husband and I met with Lisa for the first time, she was very sweet and made us feel comfortable right away. For our wedding, we wanted a little less conventional time line and Lisa was so accommodating. She was so prepared for the day of our wedding from our previous meetings and emails so I didn't have to worry at all on the day of the wedding that I would get my "must have" shots. I knew she was on top of it and would get exactly what we asked for (which we did!!). She was also really great at dealing with all the different family members, groups of friends and wedding party members and getting everyone organized and photographed in a timely manner. My husband and I both have very loud and opinionated families, but she was able to take control of the day and get what we wanted. One of the most important things I stressed to her was I didn't want to be taking pictures for more than 45 min after our ceremony; instead I wanted to party with all the guests! She did exactly what we asked and got the most amazing images in the time frame we wanted. She stayed well into the reception as we requested and was in the thick of the dance floor getting all the great action shots! I cannot thank her enough for the most amazing experience and photos. I would recommend her to ANY bride. She is well worth the price and so much fun to work with! Thank you Lisa! <3

ong on getting the right photos. She really listened to what we wanted and we are so happy with how everything turned out.

are those that will last a lifetime and images that you will draw from to relive that wonderful day. I knew Lisa was talented, but I had no idea how talented. If anything, I underestimated her skill. She took the most beautiful engagement pictures. My husband and I were nervous about getting pictures taken and posing, but she made us feel so comfortable! She captured the love between us through all the laughs and funny moments. The quality of the photos were unreal! For our engagement shoot, we had a tight timeline since we currently live in Colorado. She was flexible with us, didn’t rush the shoot, and took quality photos. It was no surprise that we would choose her to take our wedding photos. Our wedding day came and so did the nerves. It is hard to smile naturally, when one is so nervous, but once again, Lisa knocked it out of the park. She was calming, fun, engaging, professional, and direct. When I say direct, it is hard to tell multiple family members where to stand, really getting them all corralled in one location. You need a photographer who doesn’t get overwhelmed and lost in the shuffle. Lisa and her assistant, worked quickly, made it fun, and got pictures of the most important people in our life. She worked well with the other vendors we were working with. There truly aren’t enough good things I can say about this talented individual. Lisa is talented, fun, professional, timely, knowledgeable, intuitive, responsive, and great at what she does, and loves doing it! I recommend picking a photographer that loves what she does. Lisa is the epitome of that. She captured moments that I will remember for a lifetime because of her photos. Another positive, is if you are struggling finding other vendors for your wedding needs, she has great recommendations. My husband and I are truly fortunate to have picked Lisa as our photographer. We will ABSOLUTELY use Lisa again for branding shots, maternity photos, and baby photos, all of the above! We are just so grateful for Lisa. Best wedding decision.
