Lisa is amazing to work with! We hired her for engagement photos. First off she gives you tips on what’s best to wear for photos which was very helpful when picking out outfits. She gave us clear direction the entire time always making sure she gets the best photo. She has a contagious bright and positive personality. We had so much fun working with her! On top of all of that our photos were absolutely stunning! I couldn’t be happier and can’t recommend her enough!

Lisa was a complete joy to work with! Her energy made us feel very comfortable and happy. She was so sweet in directing my fiancé and I how to pose. Lisa Marie took pictures of my husband and I are our wedding day in Telluride and we are so grateful to have hired her! She is a joy to be around, professional, easy to work with, and simply radiates positivity (which is needed on your wedding day!) Unexpected high winds occurred at our ceremony point and she was very patient and helpful in getting the perfect shot! We were nearly blown away with the wind… but the pictures actually blew us away. All of the photos turned out amazing and she had a record turnaround time to get the final edited versions to us, we received them in less than a week.

There’s a reason you see nothing but five star reviews for Lisa. She is all class and her photos are timeless and light. I contracted Covid five days before my wedding, and Lisa worked with us so we could have an outdoor ceremony to keep everyone safe. It rained at the overlook and she had all the necessary gear to keep shooting. Your wedding day is big and busy and important, you cannot go wrong having Lisa capture it.

Lisa was absolutely amazing to say the least. My husband and I had been married for some time but never had the wedding experience so we wanted to get some photos done to display and give to friends and family. Lisa was great! Her communication was on point, everything was very clear and concise and if I had any questions she was quick to respond. On the day of our pictures my husband and I showed up in full wedding attire, dress, suit, bouquet and Lisa was smiling and helpful through the entire process. She managed things fun and comfortable even though coming in we were both super anxious. The location was absolutely beautiful, she used the gorgeous Telluride mountains and natural lighting to create breath taking memories that we now get to keep forever. The pictures came out so much better than I would have even imagined. We hired Lisa to be our wedding photographer after the amazing experience we had with her photographing and helping plan our engagement in Telluride. Lisa was not only our wedding photographer, but became a close friend and part of our support system while planning a wedding during COVID. Planning a wedding during COVID brought many challenges including changing our wedding plans constantly to keep up with all of the changes in the world. Whether we changed our venue in Telluride or moved our wedding to another state, Lisa remained flexible and supportive of all of our decisions. Lisa would call me to check up on me and would listen to me while I vented about all of the wedding planning drama. We felt so lucky to have her as a friend during that emotional time. Like I said Lisa is not only our wedding photographer, but she also acted as our wedding planner leading up to the day making sure all of our timelines looked accurate, finding the perfect location for our first look, and keeping our vendors and wedding party in line. I truly do not know what I would have done without her on our wedding day. Whenever a little issue would start to arise, she jumped right in and handled it so I could just focus on my husband and myself on our wedding day. I don’t even know where to begin talking about our wedding photos. I knew our wedding photos were going to be perfect after seeing our outstanding engagement photos, but she blew us away. Every person who has seen our photos has told us that they look like they were taken right out of a magazine. I have had our photos for about 3 months now and I still take a chunk of my day each day to admire them. Lisa captures every moment and emotion and makes everyone feel comfortable while being photographed. We will cherish these photos forever! Kristen Lisa did an amazing job photographing our destination wedding! We got married in Telluride (traveled from NC) And she stayed in contact with us from the moment we booked her up until we had all of our photos! Lisa is professional and went above and beyond her job duties! She helped keep everything in order on our special day. I highly recommend! We got the photos back in less than a week (over 500 of them!) And they are all amazing! I give her 11 out of 10 stars!

Working with Lisa was one of the highlights of our wedding. Not only did we have a blast (and laughed a ton) but we were able to get some of the most beautiful pictures ever. Lisa was incredibly professional, efficient and extremely friendly. She knows the area of Telluride quite well and was able to time the photos perfectly with the weather/ sun light. At no point did the pictures feel uncomfortable or unnatural. Lisa was also so easy to work with in regards to what part of the evening we wanted to take pictures and when we wanted to spend time with guests without a bunch of pictures being taken. Lastly, Lisa was extremely efficient in getting us the pictures after our wedding. Most photographers will require several weeks before the pictures are ready but we received prints from Lisa within a week! Not only did my husband and I love Lisa’s work we really enjoyed our time spent with her and would HIGHLY recommend her to anyone looking for a photographer. We love Lisa!

I could write pages about how amazing Lisa is. First of all, her photography skills are unparalleled. She knows how to work lighting and angles and how to bring your vision to light. I had given her a "vibe" we wanted for our engagement pictures and she picked the perfect locations to shoot at. What I also really love about Lisa is how easy she is to work with. She is on top of her communication! But mostly she really listens to what you want and makes you feel comfortable. My fiancé and I had never taken professional photos before and she made it so easy for us by giving us specific suggestions, but also letting us be ourselves. It was the perfect balance. I found Lisa on Instagram and immediately asked her if she would do an engagement shoot, as I was planning on proposing to my (now) fiancé during a family trip to telluride (from Austin,TX). She was just as excited as I was and helped me come up with some awesome ideas on where to propose and have a photoshoot. I decided to have our photos taken along the san miguel river trail with the ajax peak as our backdrop. Lisa killed it! And we had a great time doing the shoot, even during a 9 degree frigid morning! Not even exaggerating, we would give this woman 100 stars if we could. We will ALWAYS recommend Lisa to anyone with ZERO reservations. Finding her was one of the greatest, unexpected blessings we experienced in our journey to tie the knot. We loved Lisa's portfolio right away and thought all of the recommendations she provided for free for vendors in Telluride was so sweet. Many people believe you should have to pay for a treasure trove of information like that, but we quickly learned that wasn't the case with Lisa. With very loose plans and a half-baked plan, we reached out through her website. She was excited for us and willing to do a 2 hour session on very short notice. We immediately found her to be incredibly kind, attentive, thoughtful, and so responsive from the moment we reached out. I kept it simple, asking only for a pretty place to elope around sunset somewhere not too far outside Telluride. She instantly offered a date and time, then recommended Last Dollar Rd - a 2 lane country road above the airport in Telluride that offers drop dead gorgeous mountain views. I instantly felt reassured because she clearly seemed to have a more solid plan than I could come up with, especially considering we wouldn't even MEET Lisa until half an hour before we said our vows. Yah, you read that right. We're Oregonians who were so ready to run away to get married, we jumped in our truck and drove 1,100 miles to Telluride with our yellow lab, Hesston, only about 2 weeks after booking with Lisa through her website. Luckily for us, Lisa is the special kind of person that makes everyone feel instantly comfortable in front of the camera. Within minutes, she felt more like a friend than a stranger. By the end of our session, we knew she would always have a special place in our hearts. We cannot imagine our day without her kind, calming presence, down-to-earth attitude, and eye for beauty. She had us laughing from the start and put us at ease throughout our two hour session. She directed our poses in a way that was easy to understand and follow. I know there are a lot of instagram models out there these days, but that is SO not us...we needed all the help we could get. Soup to nuts Lisa was an A+ pro all the way. My original photographer backed out at the beginning of the pandemic, and Lisa was recommended to me by my local wedding planner. I liked her IG and all the reviews I read, and I thought the price was right so we decided to give her a try. Lisa did our engagement photos 2 days before our wedding, and that session made us comfortable with being in front of the camera with her. She was a clear and concise director, and I think brought the best out of both of us. The turnaround for the photos was also very quick! The photos were easy to access and she was very responsive if we had any questions. The day of the wedding I only had one regret - that I didn't book her to stay longer! She was such a great guide for the moments leading up to the wedding, and she captured so many wonderful details. She is a joy to work with and we look forward to booking her again!

We cannot stop saying all of the most amazing things about Lisa. From months of helping Eli prepare for his proposal to the day of the engagement, Lisa was the ultimate expert. Lisa was with us from the moment Eli proposed on San Sophia Overlook in Telluride, celebrating with our families inside AllReds, and back on the mountain for a more formal engagement shoot. The entire block of time spent with Lisa went seamlessly. Eli and I felt so comfortable while taking our photos, it was as if Lisa was not even there with all of her equipment. She made us feel like it was just the two of us on the mountain enjoying the best day of our lives the entire time. Day of the engagement, Lisa walked Eli through all of the "what ifs" that were running through his head and a couple of plot twists that changed some plans. We LOVED Lisa! She and my now fiancé completely caught me off guard with the most special proposal in Telluride! She was so genuine and we loved being around her during that special time! I have know Lisa personally for over fifteen years and have adored her as a friend. I have been admiring her photography for years, and when I got engaged in Oct 2018, she was the first person I thought of to capture our wedding! From the start, Lisa was AMAZING!!! She is incredibly responsive and calmed me down before the big day. I had a lot going on, as my mom was terminally ill and sadly passed away before our wedding. When our wedding day arrived, Lisa was on time (from out of state) and captured pictures that were absolutely incredible - STUNNING! No need to shop any further for the perfect photographer!!! Lisa made our elopement so much more special. Having never been to Colorado before, we went with her suggestion for the perfect spot for our elopement ceremony and photos. We were not disappointed, it was absolutely perfect!!!! She had taken a lot of extra time to scout out the best spots for our photos, we were blown away. All communication with her was super fast, professional and friendly. As a photographer, she was incredibly talented. She directed us to pose for the pictures, making our experience comfortable and fun. She is so warm, friendly, and easy-going. She sent us a few photos the same day to share with our families, and she had all of the photos ready for us the very next day. (Hundreds of them, super fast!! We didn’t expect it). All photos are incredible, we couldn’t possibly be happier with our experience!!

Lisa was awesome! We stopped in Telluride on our trip home to take engagement pictures and Lisa was super easy going and worked with our schedule. Lisa knew very good spots to take pictures in Telluride. We really enjoyed Lisa. She also got our pictures back to us very quick! I would recommend Lisa to anyone going to Telluride wanting to take pictures.

We had a wonderful experience with Lisa from the very beginning. She went above and beyond to answer questions, flex with our budget, work with our schedule and capture beautiful photos we wanted of friends and family. Our original plans were changed because of road closures and weather. Lisa was gracious and flexible. She captured more photos and moments than we expected. She was so attentive including remembering names of our family and friends during the shoots. The photos were beautiful. Lisa was professional, but she was so much fun, kind and relaxed to work with. Where do I begin?! Lisa was amazing from the get go! Both my husband and I are from coastal towns but picked beautiful Telluride as our wedding spot since we both love the mountains. Not being locals to Colorado, we were heavily dependent the input from vendors in Telluride for ideas and suggestions. Lisa was helpful with all of it and so attentive to even the smaller details, like suggesting locations that would be easy enough for my elderly grandparents, or plan B options if it was raining. Things that, as a bride I didn’t think about it want to worry about! Now for the big day, she showed up early to set up and do some test shots and she fit right in with my girlfriends and family as she shot photos of us getting ready together. It felt like another girlfriend was there, which made me feel all the more comfortable. All of our photos came out amazing! The lighting, our candid shots, she really captured the essence of what Ben & I were going for: nothing fancy, just a whole lot of love. Now comes the hard part, having to decide which pictures we want because they all came out so great! Thank you for all your help in making our day so magical Lisa!

I’m a guy... and I loved the photos! Not to overgeneralize, but I have the suspicion that we men undervalue how important wedding photography is. Do not make this mistake! The day goes by so fast, and all guests are either too busy enjoying the festivities to take their own photos, or are not knowing how to adjust lighting and composition on their phone cameras. Lisa Marie Wright captured the festivities perfectly, from intimate shots with loved ones, to challenging shots where she had to ensure we were in focus while not detracting from the incredible background scenery, while also dealing with complicated “golden hour” shadows. These are memories that were enshrined perfectly.

Both my fiancé and I are so incredibly thankful for Lisa! She was there when we got engaged (by my surprise!) and took the most stunning pictures! She was able to perfectly capture the moment, was very professional and made us feel so comfortable in front of the camera. She gave just the right amount of direction to allow us to look and feel natural in the photos. Her turn around with the photos was amazing as well! We got them the next day and were quickly able to share with friends and family. Lisa helped capture a moment that will never happen again in such a perfect way!!!! First, she helped my fiancé surprise me at the perfect spot in town (weather changed the day of she she suggested the PERFECT spot). We were late arriving but of course she didn’t make us feel anything except like we had more than enough time to capture everything. She did a perfect job of capturing exactly what you want- guiding us to get shots we are SO thankful for while making it feel so natural and making us confident. :) She was so so happy to work with and relaxed- a perfect special event photographer!!!!!! With Lisa's help, we achieved the wedding of our dreams! Not enough positive things can be said about Lisa. She made the pre-planning an absolute breeze. She was super easy to communicate with, was right on-time, helped me come up with the game plan to make sure it was a surprise and spent a good amount of time making sure the shots were right. Then was able to get us copies quickly for us to share with friends and family. Was just an overall great experience - very happy that she was there to capture our engagement.

My new husband and I were happy that we chose to hire Lisa as our wedding photographer. She worked with us from the beginning getting back to our requests promptly and working with our budget. We had some rain on our special day, but Lisa made sure to get us in the best locations while still keeping us dry. During our rain delay in the yurt at San Sophia, she didn't waste a moment. She was outside in the rain taking photos of the site, rings, and guests arriving. She was accommodating and flexible to our schedule and what we needed that day, always smiling and guiding our photos to get the right shot. Lisa had our photos to us starting the day after our wedding (a real treat!) and we had all of our photos within the week. Beautiful shots, professional quality, highly recommended!

Where to even start?? Lisa did an absolutely incredible job on our engagement photos!! She is very easy to work with and be comfortable around. She is sweet and understanding through the whole process and too every picture my then fiancé could think of. The pictures are absolutely gorgeous we still get compliments to this day about them. She has a great eye and takes great pictures!! I highly recommended Lisa for any pictures you have in mind. They are definitely worth it!!

Lisa is absolutely AMAZING!!! She is really sweet, cool and easy to work with and made me and my husband feel super comfortable the whole day which was not easy for me, I do not take pictures and hate being center of attention. My mom and a few others even commented on how great she was and easy to work with and grab for certain pictures they wanted. We did things a little different for our wedding day but Lisa had no problem accommodating and went above and beyond to make our day perfect and exactly what we wanted. We didn’t want to see each other before walking down the aisle but wanted to do a bunch of outdoor pictures because this was my dream winter wonderland wedding. And boy did we get that winter wonderland, 17 inches of snow in the 36 hours leading up to the wedding and still coming down pretty heavy while we were outside for 2 hours doing pictures. (We did an 11:30am ceremony, pictures inside with family & outside just the 2 of us, then 4:30pm reception). Lisa had such great ideas for our pictures and locations and she gave great direction to help pose us so the pictures came out incredible! She got so many great candid shots throughout the day that I didn’t even know were being taken which I love. She really moved around the whole ceremony and reception seamlessly and got tons of great pictures without us noticing her doing it. And she had our full album of almost 500 pictures done and back to us within a week and a half after our wedding day. We had such a great time working with her, cannot recommend her enough…she takes great pictures and is awesome to work with, you will be so happy by selecting her as your photographer!

I cannot say enough about Lisa. She was very easy to work with (even for my husband, who hates having his picture taken) and her photos are beautiful! My mom has a 'wedding wall' full of wedding pictures, and she said ours put everyone else's to shame. We eloped to Telluride, but had never been, so we were relying completely on Lisa to know where we should have our ceremony and where the best pictures would be. She exceeded our expectations and helped make our day fun and memorable! Communication was prompt and easy and she's so friendly and nice, that we felt very comfortable with her. My husband and I are so happy we selected Lisa as our photographer for our small, intimate wedding in Telluride. Lisa was absolutely amazing to work with and she exceeded our expectations!! We are completely blown away to have such outstanding pictures. She is friendly, warm, and put everyone at ease. My husband doesn't like having his picture taken, and he kept remarking how wonderful it was to work with Lisa and how comfortable he was throughout the process. Lisa also helped with one of our unique requests which was to take some landscape photographs for us as well. We picked Telluride because of the gorgeous scenery and wanted to capture some of the beautiful views as art in our home exactly as they were on the day of our wedding. She was more than happy to comply and gave us some lovely options. Lisa also completely exceeded our expectations in the short time frame in which she delivered our photos. We received a couple of teaser photos via text less than 24 hours after our ceremony and delivery of all of our photos in 2 weeks!!
