Lisa helped me with my dream dress!! She redesigned my straps, assisted with the hem, and designed the BEST most beautiful bustle. I got my dress late from the designer and she went out of her way to squeeze me in and made sure everything was perfect in such a short time. & even included a very special gift for me as a bonus. My dress came out better than I ever could have imagined and I received so many compliments. I would recommend Lisa to anyone!! ❤️

Lisa Marie did an INCREDIBLE job on my wedding dress. Her alterations were perfect - the dress fit like a glove on my wedding day. Not to mention the exquisite bustle she put in on my dress - I got sooo many compliments on it day of. Lisa Marie was fun to work with and clearly is an expert in her field. Would not only highly recommend but will continue to go to her for my other alteration needs in the future.

Lisa and Amy are truly unsung heroes!!! I purchased my wedding gown off the rack and needed the hem picked up, bust cups added, shoulders brought up and a bustle added. The bottom of my dress was lace and the shoulders were beaded heavily. Amy painstakingly took every single piece of lace off the hem of the dress and re-hand stitched it on once the hem was done. I had a total of 4 fittings starting in January, and my last done in early May for a late May wedding date. She included a picture diagram of how to do my bustle. I even purchased my hair comb from her shop! They even pressed my veil and folded it so it wouldn’t be wrinkled day of the wedding. Lisa is full of energy, patience and kindness. I had a great time every time I went into her shop. She’s hilarious and super talented and I’m so grateful for her! ALSO- when I picked up my dress- they made me an ornament with the portions of my dress that they cut off to make my hem. Such an incredibly sweet touch. You can’t go wrong with getting your alterations done at Lisa Marie’s!!!

Lisa Marie and Amy were absolutely AMAZING to work with!!! From day one when I walked into the boutique, I knew I was in the right place and my wedding dress would be in the best hands in the business. I was specifically looking for a local place that did alterations, someplace close to home and not a huge big chain wedding dress shop. Lisa Marie's popped up on Google and after giving them a call I had my first appointment on the books within a week, it's like I'd found the glass slipper of the alterations world. The best part was that even if it was busy, there were jewelry pieces, bags, gifts, scarves, everything you could imagine to look through while you waited. Lisa Marie and Amy even took the time to give me one last gift after all my alterations were complete, an ornament filled with pieces of my own wedding dress; Needless to say I was in tears and a big blubbering mess the entire ride home. It's a small business, filled with big hearts.

I had a great experience here! One of my coworkers told me her sister-in-law had her wedding dress altered here, so I decided to check it out. Lisa did a beautiful job with my wedding dress and it was perfect!

I would highly recommend Lisa Marie's for any of your alteration needs! She altered my wedding dress, and did a phenomenal job considering how much work needed to be done. She took all the lace off of the bottom to hem the dress, then hand stitch it back on. Then to top of that, she had to take in the bodice at least 7 inches, and you would have never known! The dress looked perfect and stayed in place the whole night. I cannot thank her enough for all of her hard work.

About 3 weeks before my wedding I realized I needed my dress taken in a little bit at the hips. Even with the late notice and her closing the shop for a few days for vacation, Lisa was able to fit me in and make the necessary adjustments. I absolutely loved how my dress fit and her pricing was more than reasonable. Lisa was so easy to work with and very accommodating.

We used Lisa Marie for 2 daughters weddings. She is an A+ seamstress. We had major issues with my second daughter's wedding dress purchased at Madeline's Bridal Shoppe/NH and bride lives in Philadelphia. It was too small & missing the back of the dress satin buttons!! Lisa Marie fixed the entire dress. She worked tirelessly with the vendors and directly with the designer to make necessary alternations, while calming and supporting the bride along the way. She peeled us off the ceiling several times and also gave us a few hugs...

Lisa Marie is just the BEST!! I had the most wonderful experience with her doing the alterations for my wedding dress. I had talked about some changes at the point of buying my wedding dress with the salon consultant, including taking some layers out of the skirt to make it less voluminous. So I was nervous at first when Lisa told me that wasn't the greatest idea, because removing the layers from the skirt would cause the dress to lose its shape. But she showed me what we could do to decrease the poof while still keeping the dress's shape, and I am so grateful that I trusted her experience because my dress fit absolutely perfectly and looked exactly how I imagined by the time she was done with it. Her experience with working on countless gowns is invaluable and makes it easy to trust that she will do what will make your dress, and you, look the absolute best. Plus, she is the most warm, friendly person ever, so each appointment was like a visit with a friend! She is such a sweetheart and so talented, and obviously has so much passion for what she does. Any bride, and anyone in general, can be confident that working with Lisa Marie for their alterations will go flawlessly!

Lisa Marie and Amy let me come in as their first appointment of the day for all my fittings, which I greatly appreciated to accommodate my work schedule. I got along great with them both, and they made me feel very welcome. I think I was a very non-bridey bride (I’m just not very girly, so putting on a big lace dress and having to care about it was hard for me, hah!), and Lisa Marie totally understood what I cared about and what I didn’t. I deferred to her opinion on the alterations needed for the perfect fit, as well as what kind of bustle it needed. Everything she did looked perfect in the end, and I never worried about what the result of her work would be. The poor thing had been sick, and then her family was sick, AND we were working around the holidays, and she always met the agreed upon deadlines. I felt beautiful and secure in my dress on my wedding day, and it’s all thanks to her!

I recently had my wedding dress altered at Lisa Marie’s, and highly recommend her work! I needed my dress hemmed, taken in slightly, and cups added, and all of these alterations were done on time and at a reasonable price. My dress was also pressed and looked perfect on our big day. Plus Lisa Marie is a pleasure to work with, very funny and friendly. She is often very busy and after working with her, it’s easy to see why!

Lisa is AMAZING and helped give me the wedding dress of my dreams! My gown was hemmed beautifully, and she crafted the perfect bustle. It had an illusion neckline, and the bottom of the dress had multiple layers, so I in no ways made it an easy task. After one of my fittings, I somehow managed to get the bag’s zipper jammed right in the middle of the delicate illusion fabric. Although I was panicking, Lisa remained calm and told me to come back in and she fixed it without leaving even the smallest tear. She also came in for one of my fittings the day after a blizzard when her boutique had no power, just so we could continue to work on the dress! If you want someone dependable, that will do amazing work at a great price, Lisa is your woman!

Lisa Marie was a wonderful seamstress! She made me feel comfortable and beautiful. I was slightly concerned that the shop where I bought my gown didn't offer alterations, but was lucky to have gone to Lisa Marie on recommendation. My strapless gown fit like a glove and I didn't once have to step off the dance floor in order to adjust it. I would highly recommend her to any one on the South Shore looking for a talented and professional seamstress.

Lisa Marie is simply the best. I could not have asked for a better experience, and will continue to use Lisa Marie for any future alteration needs. She knew exactly what I was looking for, did a fantastic job, was affordable, and was just delightful to work with. I even picked up some great accessories from her as well. I highly recommend her!

I was married on 5/28/17 and Lisa Marie altered both my bridal gown and bridesmaids dresses. She went above and beyond, all of our dresses fit perfectly! She even was able to bustle my dress a few weeks before my wedding despite the time crunch. I highly recommend her!

Lisa Marie altered my BHLDN wedding gown for my July 2016 wedding. The fit was perfect and I couldn't be happier with the final product. Lisa Marie does wonderful work and she is very reliable. I've also had two bridesmaids dresses altered by Lisa Marie. I would definitely recommend Lisa Marie for wedding alterations!

LISA MARIE IS AMAZING!!!! She has a true talent and made my dress fit me like a glove and it looked amazing. I think when you buy something like a wedding dress you need to trust in the capabilities of the person altering it. I cannot say enough amazing things about Lisa Marie! She tailored my wedding dress from start to finish and created a timeline for me of everything that needed to be done and exactly when to come back and do it. Less than a week before my wedding I tried on my dress and it was still too big--Lisa had it done within a few days and made sure it was perfect! She made sure I was completely comfortable before finalizing anything. She is amazing to work with and did an unbelievable job on my dress!

I bought my dress at a bridal event and brought it to Lisa Marie to have it altered. My bridesmaids and my flower girl aslo hed their dresses done by Lisa! I think she did a fabulos job and in a timely manner considering it was prom season when we first started going to fittings. I will use her again and again!
