All of her work product reflects that she has great taste, judgment, and (most importantly) talent. We were very pleased with our engagement and wedding photos. They really told the story of us and our special day. And they were lovely and fun - the perfect combination of artistic, traditional, and modern. The lighting in the Art Museum is very tricky; we were there in bright sunlight, sunset, dusk, and night, and we can tell that she was thoughtful and meticulous in making sure all of our pictures were amazing. I remember looking around during the wedding and hoping that the pictures would turn out well despite the lighting situation. Lisa was a pleasure to have with us on our wedding day. She was a calming influence, and at the same time almost invisible and working her magic behind-the-scenes. We heard many positive things about her and her work after the wedding. We were looking forward to our wedding for many months, and we are so grateful that Lisa was there to memorialize it so beautifully. And every time we look at our pictures, they remind us of the joy and love we felt that day.

She also has photographed a lot at Gesu Parish, where our wedding also took place. We met at her studio, and immediately knew we would book her. We got married on November 2nd at 11am with a reception at 5pm. Lisa was able to accommodate us so that we were able to get pictures from the beginning of getting ready to the end on the dance floor. If I had to recommend any vendor, Lisa Mathewson would be it. My pictures were gorgeous! I may be a little biased, but everyone who saw my pictures agreed….Lisa did an AMAZING job. I believe pictures are one of the most important parts of your wedding to spend money on, it's a day you want to remember forever.
