Valerie mentioned that they were having a wedding expo the next weekend and Lisa’s Engagement Session was going to be part of the raffle. I was determined to win that Engagement Session and meet Lisa. It must have been fate because my husband and I won the Engagement Session. Before our session, we met Lisa and she spent a great amount of time with us understanding our love story, our likes, dislikes and ultimate vision for our Engagement Session and Wedding. Our Engagement Session took place during the last weekend in the summer at Fire Island, a place where my husband and I fell in love. Lisa was patient with the three outfit changes that I wanted and captured not only the spirit of our relationship; but also, the beauty of the beach and magical sunset of the day. Lisa extended her time with us even though it was longer than the session we won to ensure you could tell a proper story. It was then that we knew Lisa was more than our photographer she was deeply caring and became our friend. Our wedding was to take place in May of 2020; however, with the lock downs of Covid, Lisa stayed with us every step of the way and ensured she was free when we rescheduled our wedding 3 times! We went through the stress of Covid together and it created an even deeper bond and friendship. Finally in June of 2021, our wedding day came. Lisa instantly put a nervous, detailed oriented bride at ease meticulously documenting my dress, shoes and all the little extras that she knew was important to me. She went above and beyond watching for those emotional moments that anyone would want to look back on forever. I wholeheartedly recommend working with Lisa and her team. The wedding album she put together is aesthetically gorgeous and tells an amazing love story that I can’t wait to share with my children one day. When the spot they had originally agreed on was too crowded for what he had envisioned as a private moment, she found somewhere new and directed him to a gorgeous cherry blossom tree. Lisa and her assistant Frank were so kind and celebratory of our engagement and we spent about 2 hours walking around Planting Fields Arboretum getting beautiful photos. She made us both feel very comfortable on camera and interacting with each other while she shot. The sneak peek photos came promptly and she selected 30 wonderful options for us to post on social media- everyone in our lives were FLOORED with how stunning the pictures were. We got the full gallery a few weeks later (earlier than expected!) and every shot is truly stunning. Lisa perfectly captured the best day of our lives so far and we could not be more grateful.

We had seen some of her images from a wedding at Old Field Vineyard and they just captured the emotion of the event so perfectly that we knew she was exactly who we would want for our wedding. The day of, she was very organized and good at wrangling even the most challenging participants, which I can imagine would be extremely helpful with larger groups. When it came time to do our album, she even sent us video of samples over and over again, never growing impatient. We can not recommend her enough. Lisa also was familiar with the Northfork of Long Island and knew the area better than we did. She took time to know us as a couple and what we wanted. When planning our wedding, Lisa was professional, helpful when organizing a timeline for the day, accommodating and practical. We both had big families, a church for our ceremony and really wanted to take a sunset picture, which would be in the middle of our reception. Lisa and her team were able to capture it all seamlessly and made it the perfect day. She has been quick to share pictures as they are finished and they are each incredibly exquisite! They are not all posed and staged, yet uniquely shows the excitement of each moment that we will cherish forever! We can’t wait to see the rest and couldn’t give her a higher recommendation! We were very impressed with her work for our engagement photos. She captured the stunning scenery of Montauk but also a wide variety of couples portraits from lots of different angles and vantage points. We went to various locations and Lisa went above and beyond - she definitely spent extra time with us to make sure we had a ton of great shots. The photos were so colorful and showcased the bright blue sky, blue water and beautiful sunset. Lisa also provided lots of practical tips in advance (in the form of a written document) about things like outfit choices and other things to ensure we would have a successful shoot. For the wedding, the day itself was mostly overcast but Lisa still made our photos vibrant and beautiful. She communicated with us frequently leading up to the wedding day and coordinated seamlessly with our other vendors. As with the engagement photos, she provided a long list of practical tips which were really helpful for the day. She also had a phone call with us in advance to understand which photos were most important to us. The week leading up to the wedding, she was even checking the whether and reached out to suggest I bring along a few things in case of rain (e.g. change of footwear, umbrella, shawl). It is clear that Lisa really cares about her clients having the best possible photos for their special day. We are so happy with how our photos turned out -- we received about 1200 photos and have so many great ones to choose from for our album and prints. Lisa did bring a second photographer to our wedding day (per our contract) named Kevin, and he was fantastic as well. The photos all look consistent as if they were taken/edited by a single person. Lisa is very professional to work with, and delivered our previews and final photos ahead of schedule despite the timeframe coinciding with her most busy season. She is very responsive and always was available to answer questions. You will not regret working with Lisa for your engagement photos or wedding!

Lisa was incredibly flexible with us throughout the past 2.5 years. She was supportive through the pandemic and postponement of our wedding. It rained on our originally planned engagement shoot so we pushed to a later day on the same week, which happened to be Halloween. Despite the 30-degree weather and stampedes of Trick-or-Treaters, we got the most epic photos. Lisa and her assistant Frank hauled jackets and blankets for us while patiently waiting for the crowds to pass. We were incredibly impressed with Lisa's work following the engagement shoot -- I've never felt more excited and confident to be photographed. I knew she was the perfect person to capture our wedding day (a year later). Lisa facilitated our entire wedding day timeline. I've bragged about this too so many friends, they could not believe it!! She raised questions and had a level of wedding day awareness that cannot be matched. Lisa shows up -- on time, prepared, energizing & willing to make decisions on the fly. The rain interfered with our first look/bridal formals (Planting Fields), but Lisa was determined. The days leading up to my wedding she drove around Babylon Village scoping out locations with overhangs, like what?! Well, it did rain BUT I was SO HAPPY because we got once-in-a-lifetime photos at the local train station in our town. Following those photos, Lisa scoped out a scenic park with overlook. This moment was very intimate and truly one of my wedding day highlights. Oh, not to mention we got those first look photos with clear umbrellas!! With Lisa you are in good hands. She's not only a reliable, caring vendor but she is such a wonderful person. She allowed my fiance and me to be fun, funny, and a little corky behind the camera. I am so grateful for her.
