Lisa is probably the only person I would have wanted to be there helping me and my girls get ready for my wedding. She is so personable, fun, and made the entire day easy and happy-go-lucky. Her business partner Melissa who did our hair was a perfect match as well. The two of them had no problems with any of the girls' hair/makeup ideas, had no problem with coming to where we all wanted to get ready, and I truly felt like they belonged with us getting ready for my wedding for being strangers at first. When they left, I felt a bit sad they were gone HAHA, they were so fun. I was on quite a budget when it came to hiring out some help. I honestly contemplated doing my own hair and makeup or having one of my close friends doing it for my entire group. I ended up having a full circle moment and thought "This is the only time I plan to get married, let's give Lisa a shot". Within 5 minutes of being in her chair for my consult I knew I made the right decision. I would without hesitation hire them again and again. I recommend them to everyone who wants to feel like the gals doing their hair/makeup are friends, rather than strangers in their space on their big day. The cost of a wedding is daunting, but (in my case) having some help that doesn't feel awkward and forced was so so so nice. They truly made the start of my day so fun and did such an amazing job! She ensured we could work together to set up a timeline that would work for all girls' makeup to be done before photos at noon. w when it was their turn. Price is on the spendy side but seems to be about average for the cities. Do be sure to look closely at the fine print for cost of services. Mileage is added after 30 mi not a 30 mi radius (there and back). So anything over 30 miles total was 70 cents a mile PER artist. 18% automatic gratuity is also added and you have to have 4 people not including the bride for each service desired. Eg. 4 people for hair if the bride is doing hair and 4 people for makeup if the bride is doing makeup. This can be very tricky if cost is a concern for some bridesmaids or if you have a small bridal party. Overall Lisa and her team did a great job.
