Lisa is just incredible – a short paragraph would never even do her justice! My husband was a bit weary on doing an engagement shoot prior to our wedding, but with a little convincing I got him there. Once we left, he couldn’t have been more excited for the wedding day saying how easy Lisa was to work with and how enjoyable she made the session. Fast forward to our wedding day a few months later, the thought of gathering our 50+ extended family members for multiple family portraits was giving me heartburn – but Lisa captured each of these FLAWLESSLY. Her level of organization and eye for detail is just perfection – from the beginning of the morning on our wedding day to the late night dancing, she didn’t miss a shot. If you are on the hunt for a photographer, just stop now – Lisa is your girl!

Lisa and her assistant were instant members of my family! We connected from the first conversation and I know that our wedding day would NOT have been captured as elegantly by anyone else. I cannot say enough about how thoughtful and comprehensive our pictures turned out and I know that we will cherish them forever!

BOOK HER! If you are lucky enough to have your wedding date available in Lisa's schedule... don't even think twice. Lisa is extremely professional, talented, kind, and easy-going. This is someone you want on your team when you're planning a wedding. She answered all of my emails- even the crazy ones in the middle of the night. She even gave me advice about things that have NOTHING to do with photography. When the wedding day came, I knew I didn't need to worry about Lisa. She was fun to work with that day and everyone commented on how they barely saw the photographer... she was like a cat during the ceremony and reception! The quality of work is unparalleled. Her attention to detail and passion for her craft become even more obvious when you see the final product. When she delivered us the first photo (the morning after the wedding just because she's COOL LIKE THAT!) my jaw dropped. Straight out of Vogue. A week later, she delivered a cute highlight reel of a few photos in chronological order. We got it on our honeymoon and it was such a treat. She GETS IT. She captured every single moment of joy at our wedding, and I will be forever grateful. Thank you, Lisa! You are so awesome!!!!!

Lisa was absolutely amazing at our wedding this past October. When I first came across her work I was in awe of her photography style, including the amazing candids and emotions throughout the day that she captures. Our photographs certainly reflect this style and do a beautiful job telling our wedding day story. Also, she was a pleasure to work with leading up to and the day of the wedding. Some unexpected rain caused a lot of things to change last minute and Lisa was amazing through it all. After our wedding my husband and I talked about how much we enjoyed spending time with Lisa throughout the day. She's non-intrusive, calm, funny, helpful - everything you would want in a wedding photographer.

Lisa has been the photographer for two of our daughter's' weddings and I can't imagine using anyone else. She is pleasant, unobstrusive and yet somehow manages to be everywhere! She captured the feeling of the event and wonderful candid moments with all of our friends and family. Her photos are beautifully framed and flattering to her subjects. We will think of her often as we admire the wonderful images she captured of these important events.

Lisa Rigby is professional and amazing at what she does. The photos came out incredible and told the story of our day. There were pictures captured of all our guests, so we could see the joy in all our family and friends faces. She was able to remain unobtrusive and still capture such intimate moments. Lisa got over 1,000 photos back within 2 weeks! I would definitely recommend Lisa to other couples getting married!

Lisa was just fabulous. Her personality is sweet and relaxed and her pictures captured the wedding perfectly. She really understood the vision of the wedding and captured so much joy. I cannot tell you how many people said that every picture was just so happy and should be in a magazine. She was a pleasure to work with and for that reason and because she captures color so well (we got married in a colorful garden so that was important to me!) I picked her and I am sooooo happy I did! She did a beautiful job, and with heart and kindness too.

When planning my wedding, I knew finding a photographer was going to be the hardest part of it all. Being a photographer myself, I was nervous that I was going to be super anal and go into photo mode on my big day and the fear of not getting everything captured haunted me. Well, a friend of mine suggested I look at Lisa's website. I loved what I saw and loved that our styles were so different. I spoke with Lisa and she sent me an album of photos from a wedding she photographed at my venue, so I could see what it would be like. That album SOLD me! Photographers showcase their best work on their main site (outside photos, special moments, etc.) My wedding was going to be inside, so it was so important to me to be able to see sample photos of how the pictures were going to look inside the actual venue! Once booked, I felt relieved! We had a phone meeting, discussing important photos and the timeline of the day and once the day came, everything went better than expected! Lisa was not intrusive. She really captured moments throughout the day that when I look at my photos, I remember that exact minute. I was able to put the photographer in me at ease, knowing that Lisa was capturing everything I wanted and more! Our wedding was Thanksgiving weekend, so we were lucky enough that Lisa even sent us a few photos to use as a Christmas card. I can't stop looking at my photos. I can't believe some of the ones she captured, considering I felt like I didn't even see her taking them! Lisa Rigby is highly recommended and I couldn't be happier with the outcome of our pictures!

Just AMAZING! Lisa is more than a photographer she's a true artist. Prior to hiring Lisa almost 2 years before I got married my now husband and I went through numerous local photographer albums and websites. No one quit captured the artistry Lisa does. She is extremely organized and someone who is an event planner by trade really appreciated that. Lisa is worth every penny and out of all my vendors is #1.

As soon as my now-husband and I got engaged, I knew that one of the most important things to me would be the photographs from our wedding day, and I spent a lot of time researching photographers and reviewing portfolios. As soon as I saw Lisa Rigby's photos, though, I knew I had found the perfect match for us. Lisa's photos have this soft, romantic quality to them and really reflect the story of a couple's relationship and marriage, and she has that special knack of always seeming to capture the right moment. She did an engagement shoot for us, and when we saw the pictures from that session, we could not wait to see how she would document our wedding. And we were not disappointed! The photos from our wedding day were absolutely stunning, and we could not have been happier with how they turned out. Lisa herself is delightful, funny, accommodating, and very responsive, and she was a real pleasure to work with and made us feel at ease even with cameras in our face! So happy we got to work with Lisa, she is truly an artist!

Lisa Rigby was an incredible to work with and I am so pleased with the photos she took of our wedding at Moraine Farm. She especially takes beautiful landscape shots and captures little moments from the event that make it come back to life when you look back at them. We got a preview of our photos ~3 weeks after the wedding, and the full gallery soon after. She was very laid back and easy to work with throughout the entire process-- I cannot recommend her more highly!

Lisa is the bees knees! Sweet, smart, and super easy to work with - Lisa is also a mega-talented photographer! With grace and skill, Lisa captured the most beautiful moments from our winter wedding at St. Cecilia church & The Four Seasons. Lisa Rigby photographed my wedding this past September. I cannot say enough about how great she was. We first met Lisa last December for our engagement shoot and she was great. She took the most amazing photos and made us feel very comfortable during the shoot. We knew we made the right choice. At the wedding, Lisa was very professional and great in dealing with a large bridal party for pictures. She made the pictures fun, painless and took gorgeous photos. Our bridal party could not beleive how fast our pictures went and we were all able to enjoy the cocktail hour! She captured the emotion of the day and all of the details I especially wanted. Lisa was one of the first details we nailed down. She was my favorite among the photograhers I found online and the most affordable among the ones I liked. Sure you can get cheaper photographers but in my opinion they just were not as good. We now have almost 600 photos that I love and our wedding is going to be in Style Me Pretty!

When more than one person who did not know each other recommended Lisa Rigby to us, we knew she had to be good. We fell in love with her work when we browsed her blog online and knew we made the right choice when we met up with her. Lisa really knows what she's doing and has a great eye for those memorable shots. Our engagement photo session was very relaxed and fun and Lisa was very prepared in coming with a rain plan for our wedding. She is very quick in getting our photos to us (within 1 month)!!! We received a lot of wonderful candid photos of our guests, which is exactly what we wanted. Seeing the final product is a testament of how accurate Lisa captured the joyful spirit of our wedding and truly allowed us to relive our special day.

There are no other words to describe Lisa Rigby other then THE BEST. I first saw her work when she photographed my cousin's wedding, who highly recommended her to me for mine. We did an engagement session with her 14 months before the wedding, and the wedding itself. Her work is unparalleled, just gorgeous. I don't have a very high opinion of my looks and even I felt like I looked gorgeous in my pictures. I cried when I viewed the slideshow she posted for us after the wedding. She was everywhere, capturing everything, without ever seeming in the way. She was friendly and fun to talk to, and an absolute joy to work with. Just an amazing photographer, and I'm SO glad we hired her!

If you have the opportunity to work with Lisa, you should absolutely take it. Her photographs are simply stunning, and she has a great balance between the classic wedding portraits and a more journalistic style. Her prices are a supreme value and she could not be more fun to work with.

At the time of our wedding, Lisa was still getting started with her wedding photography business. I think because of this, her prices did not reflect her talent (great for us!). Her style is very candid and she uses a photojournalism approach. We really wanted someone who had this type of eye so that photos didn't seem too stiff and posed. With that said, however, we DID want a few traditional portrait shots - the "Christmas card shot" we called it. We so greatly appreciated Lisa's talent and eye when it came to the candids, but were a bit disappointed in her orchestration and orientation of the posed pictures. We fully understood that hose types of pictures were not her forte, nor did we want to stand around for hours taking pictures, but for weddings, they are a bit of a given... I felt like I, the bride, was lining everyone up for the photos when someone else really should have been taking the reigns. Luckily we had a couple of friends who took pictures throughout the day as well, so we were able to get some of the shots that Lisa didn't. We still, however, didn't end up with some of the most important shots - the whole family together, or even one with myself and both parents! These should have been standard. We also had to scrap a lot of her pictures because she shot them into the sun - which was a great idea from an artistic point of view, but not when you want to see everyone's faces! They ended up looking very washed out and faded. When it was all said and done, we were generally happy with Lisa, but if you want certain shots, she definitely needs some prodding.
