Lisa was the perfect photographer for our wedding! She was patient, meticulous, friendly and professional, and above all, she took amazing photos! While we were preparing for the wedding, she communicated proactively and clearly, and was the perfect mix of flexible and organized. During the wedding, she came early to scout out the venue and find the perfect spots for portraits and group photos, as well as taking breathtaking photos of the venue, and continued to be totally on top of everything throughout the event. We knew as soon as we looked at her gallery that Lisa was the perfect choice for our tastes, and the photos she took for us matched the aesthetics and skill in her gallery completely! After an extremely disappointing engagement session with a different photographer, my husband and I were extra cautious when selecting our next photographer. We ending up choosing Lisa because of her impressive portfolio and we couldn’t be happier. Lisa did an absolutely phenomenal job capturing our last minute elopement! Some of her shots look like something straight out of a Disney film. She was very intentional and really took charge of the photo shoot, adjusting us as necessary. Her thoroughness pays off. Her turnaround time was quick, her rates were reasonable, and the number and quality of the images were both high. Highly recommended.

My husband and I were married September 24, 2022 at Del Valle Winery in Livermore. It was a toasty 96 degrees! Lisa Stone endured the heat right along with us and was unfazed by it! We were so incredibly happy with Lisa and the photography she captured on our wedding day. We received the photos much sooner than we anticipated and I still remember how much joy, tears, and laughter it brought going through the gallery of photos. Lisa captured the day perfectly and we were able to experience the many beautiful moments of (not only us), but our family and friends attending! Lisa has a true talent for photography, an incredible eye for detail, and we loved how she used lighting in the various spaces we were in. Additionally, she responds to emails promptly, communicates well, makes you feel at ease in front of the camera, provided gentle guidance with portrait images, kept us on our timeline, and she was kind and professional! We felt so lucky to have Lisa as our wedding photographer and we couldn’t be happier.

Lisa Stone is an absolutely phenomenal photographer. She is so phenomenal, that we actually hired her to do ALL of our professional photos for special life milestones this year: our engagement photos, our wedding, and maternity photos! There's no greater testimonial than to hire someone more than once:) To summarize what we loved about working with Lisa and why we will continue to hire her again and again: 1) Professionalism - Lisa is a great communicator and super responsive. Wedding planning can be stressful, but working with Lisa was one of the more pleasant experiences. She is clear about setting expectations, always timely to respond, and works hard to understand what we would like. It's also clear that she goes above an beyond for every client. For example, Lisa overdelivered on the photos for our wedding and also sent us sneak peaks much earlier than we expected. We also asked if Lisa could help us produce our engagement photos on a short timeframe (so we could send out wedding invites), and she made it happen without skipping a beat. 2) Photographic creativity with excellent technical execution - just look at all of her beautiful photos: her portfolio speaks for itself! It's clear that Lisa possesses deep technical know how to compose memorable photos, and also has the creative magic to capture special moments in real time. We didn't know what we were doing or what we wanted, so it was great to be able to lean on Lisa's expertise throughout the process and end up with products that we absolutely adore. 3) Dexterity - She has the ability to do different types of photos and deliver consistently gorgeous photos. For example, she did our portraits (engagement and maternity) as well as day of wedding photos, which captured so many beautiful and special moments that we will treasure for the rest of our lives. Lisa was adaptive to the different contexts and settings. 4) She's fun and great to work with - this is a bonus, but worth mentioning that we had a great time in our sessions working with Lisa. I think that helped to bring out our natural smiles in our portraits! Everyone in our family was so impressed by Lisa's work too. Having Lisa shoot our wedding was one of the best decisions we made. Lisa is a great photographer as anyone can see from her sample work, but what you won't see until you work with her is her attention to detail, ability to capture candid moments, and how easy she is to work with. Lisa and her team were great at helping stage amazing shots (even though I am typically not great when it comes to taking pictures) and just as good at capturing spontaneous moments.

I cannot express how thankful I am to have had Lisa as our wedding photographer. She shot my wedding in April 2022, and the photos are incredible, truly, so many gems. Being able to relive the day and the feelings we felt, and seeing all the little moments that my husband and I missed during the event, will always be special to us. I seriously loved loved loved working with Lisa Stone. Her photography is amazing. And she puts you at ease even when you’re not good at being in front of the camera. If you’re thinking of hiring her, I highly recommend doing so. I actually started following Lisa on Instagram long before I was engaged. I loved her style from the very beginning! By the time I got engaged, I already knew that I wanted Lisa to photograph my wedding. It was just a matter of seeing if she was available for our big day. From the start, Lisa was very responsive to my emails and inquiries and even got on multiple calls with me to answer questions. She was very friendly and easy to talk to. After we signed the contract, we booked our engagement shoot with her. Prior to our engagement session, she sent us a list of helpful tips on getting ready for the day. Meeting her for the first time, I could see that she loves what she does. She was so enthusiastic about the setting and the lighting and the colors of the sunset. And I was very happy with the way the photos turned out. she captured us soo perfectly. On top of that, Lisa got our engagement photos back to us in about 10 days even though she was in the middle of planning her own wedding! Leading up to our wedding day, she sent us a check list of things that we need to have ready for her. She asked us to make a list of all the groups of people we wanted photos with. And honestly, that made a huuuuge difference. It kept us on track with the photos and not waste time looking out family members. In the last two weeks prior to our wedding, Lisa got on the phone with us multiple times to help us with our timeline. We didn’t hire a wedding planner so we had to work with Lisa and our venue coordinator to figure out the logistics of all that we wanted for our day. She was amaaazing. With Lisa’s help, my husband and I felt like our wedding went so smoothly. I honestly don’t think we could have gotten through our day without her. We went on our honeymoon right after the wedding. And on the flight home, I got an email from Lisa saying that she’s done editing our photos. So we got almost 1000 photos back in just two weeks! It was such a nice way to end our trip! Seriously, if you’re considering hiring Lisa as your wedding photographer, I highly recommend that you do. From the start to the end, Lisa has been amazing and an important part of our wedding. Not just as our photographer but also one of the reasons why our wedding day was as stress free as it was.

Lisa is amazing! She was the perfect photographer for our outdoor home wedding in May -- a joy to work with and a consummate professional every step of the way. The album she put together for us came back better than we ever could have ever imagined. She beautifully documented the candid energy and emotions of the day, and captured some amazing moments with a captivating artistic range. We LOVED working with Lisa for our wedding! She was calm, attentive, and kind throughout the wedding planning process. For example, before the wedding, she got on calls with us to brainstorm first look locations and plan our schedule for the day. Lisa is fantastic! Very relaxed and easy going, and she has a great eye for details. She did our engagement photos as well as our wedding. The photos came out amazing and as we were looking through them we kept asking ourselves how she got that shot! You NEED Lisa if you are trying to find a wedding photographer. What an AMAZING experience!!! Our original wedding photographer bailed 2 weeks before our wedding, and my friend referred me to Lisa. I was freaking out and she set my mind at ease while making sure she had a very clear idea of what I was hoping for. I got ALL of the pictures I wanted and a TON of beautiful photos I didn't think would be my favorites. To be honest, my favorite photos were the ones she suggested and took of us in our front yard. The posed photos were lovely and she took such great candid shots! I can't recommend her enough. Thank you so much Lisa!

Lisa Stone is an amazing photographer and we absolutely loved working with her. We first came across her website and were immediately drawn to her style. Her photos are beautiful, artistic, and personal. She perfectly captured the feel of our day and we were really impressed with the photos. She is clearly a very talented photographer and knowledgeable about light and gave us direction, which we asked for as we don't really know how to pose! Lisa is also incredibly friendly and personable, and was a bright spot during a challenging year planning a wedding during Covid. We had to reschedule our original wedding date and scale down our celebration to a new venue, and Lisa was flexible and encouraging during the entire process! She ended up driving over an hour further than our original destination once our plans changed. In addition, what we liked the best about Lisa was that she blended in and we barely noticed her taking shots during our event, rather than feeling like our photographer was constantly nearby and interrupting during the wedding. Lisa’s work is incredibly soulful and versatile. She’s not just a wedding photographer, but a skilled visual artist and storyteller. She took the most breathtaking photos for our summer outdoor wedding in Sonoma, and managed to overcome unpredictable changes in light, settings, and timing. While going through the photo collection she put together for us, I felt each of my emotions from that day in every photo. Lisa Stone is amazing! We couldn't have asked for a better photographer to capture our wedding. She has a great eye, is very professional, and extremely friendly. She made us feel comfortable and relaxed during formal shoots. She's also very organized and kept in touch with us during our wedding planning to make sure things were going well, and to work with us to create a photo timeline. Lisa Stone's work is absolutely amazing! My best friend found her for me and I'm so happy I picked Lisa as she wasn't 1st on my list but my best friend swayed me towards her. We completed our engagement pictures at two locations. One was Ghirardelli Square and Bakers Beach. Not being a native from the Bay area, I wanted the Golden Gate as our background. The Ghirardelli Square had some many cute areas to shoot from and not to mention a wine tasting room which was another piece I wanted to work in since my husband and I enjoy our wine. The entire time she kind of disappeared, we almost forgot we were being photographed but she captured every essence of my husband and I's relationship! It took a month to receive them and they turned out absolutely amazing! I still look through them all the time! As our wedding approached I didn't have a worry in my mind that she would do another amazing job and she didn't disappoint! It took longer this time to get our pictures but it was WORTH THE WAIT!! Before the wedding we met and did a walk through of the Claremont. She did a great job going through the timeline, asking questions to our wedding coordinator, and I got scared about the timing so I asked her to come 30 mins ahead of schedule. Again, well worth the extra money to get her to come 30 mins earlier. Our wedding day arrived and she made sure we stayed on schedule and got all the pictures I requested. We had to back out on getting a videographer due to budget but Lisa really captured every little step of the wedding and reception fun. I highly recommend Lisa to any bride!! She's super sweet, very professional, and worth every cent of our investment!! Thank you Lisa as we will treasure these pictures for life!! You truly are amazing!!

Lisa shot our wedding and she was great! She's easy to work with and flexible, but holds her ground when needed to make sure you get the best photos possible. She's organized and discreet so you can have fun and not think about the camera. Her prices are very fair and she doesn't try to up-sell you afterwards. She really loves her work and gives it all she's got.
