When you're around people you love, everything just feels natural, right? You should be able to feel the same about your photographer! That's where I come in! I provide natural, true-to-life photography for couples and creative individuals in Detroit, Chicago and everywhere in between. I know how intimidating it can be to be in front of a camera. Don’t worry, posing and directing are a huge part of my style and how I work. After being in front of the camera many times myself, I know how important it is for your photographer to give you direction and talk you through what to do next. That's actually one of my favorite parts of my job because it means that you don't have to think about it! Your job is to relax, have fun, be you, and enjoy being with the person you love. I would be honored to be that person that is able to give you that sense of ease and freedom.

Highly recommend!! Lisa was absolutely amazing to work with from beginning to end! She did an incredible job with our engagement photos, even in the sweltering 95° heat. She was so helpful leading up to the wedding. Lisa answered all of our questions, walked through the venue with us before the wedding, and gave us input on the day-of timeline. She was just as amazing on the wedding day! She made sure we got the specific shots we requested. She was on top of it all day, so we could just be present. We didn’t have to worry about photos at all. The second shooter Lisa picked, Hannah, was also great to work with. The photos we received are exactly what we hoped for. We could not be happier. We are so happy we chose Lisa Tune Photography to capture our wedding.

Lisa was a joy to work with; punctual, professional, and prepared to capture all of the shots we asked for (and some we didn't know we needed). She was able to improvise the shot schedule on the fly when folks weren't always ready on time so that we were still able to get all of the desired pictures. The final edited shots are beautiful as well. We would recommend Lisa to anyone!

I need everybody to know this photographer! Working with Lisa was easily one of the best decisions we made when we started planning our wedding. Her website and instagram when we first looked at her work was GORGEOUS. It had this wonderful vibrancy. You could tell that the couples that she worked with before really enjoyed their time with her. When we got our engagement photos back, we knew for sure we had picked the right photographer for us. She is so sweet, and kind, and very creative when it comes to taking photos. Her ideas were quick and in the moment to capture some of the most beautiful photos we have. Seriously, we cherish all of them. And when we look back on our photos, we remember exactly how giddy we were in the moment, for both our engagement and wedding photos. Lisa was always quick to respond to emails filled with questions. She was so good about sharing her past experiences with other weddings, including her own, which helped elevate the obsessive worriedness some brides (including myself) adopt. I had the honor of having her at my wedding, and also a friend’s wedding the week after, and got to see her work with all types of people, including other vendors that were hired. She did such a great job making sure her schedule worked well with others, but also that everyone included (vendors, salon, family members, wedding party) were all on the same page. Which is SO important on such a crazy kind of day that is a wedding! When we finally did get our photos back, we were joyously surprised at the quick turn around. Only one month after my wedding did I receive a link to our very own wedding photo site, beautifully organized so I knew exactly which event I was looking at. Beautifully edited so that some photos showed more vibrancy, others were in black and white and looked so classic. Seriously I love all of them, and got SO MANY compliments on how amazing the photos were AND the organization of the website too. It has been such a joy to work with Lisa. It really made all the difference on one of the best days of our lives.

My husband and I used Lisa Tune Photography for our engagement and wedding photos. Lisa did a fantastic job and we loved working with her! Lisa's experience came in handy, as she came prepared with a command strip hook and a hanger to take the perfect photo of my dress! She also did an amazing job highlighting what was special to us on our big day. All the photos came out great. Lots of attention to detail and thoughtful photos that we'll cherish for years to come.

Lisa was the perfect photographer for our engagement photos and wedding! Her talent shines through in her photos and she's very flexible to work with in terms of scheduling. She made everyone involved feel comfortable in front of the camera and provided an amazing product after the wedding. With all the stress that comes with wedding days, one thing we knew we didn't have to worry about was Lisa, her team, and her skills. Lisa was easily the best decision we made for our wedding day photographer! We had SO much fun working with her during our special day. She was so easy to work with and very professional. Throughout the whole day she was very calm and organized and helped keep us on schedule! I would 100% recommend hiring Lisa for any photography needs!!!

Lisa was incredible to work worth! Wedding photos are so important obviously and Lisa delivered so many beautiful photos of our day. More importantly, she was such a calming presence and easy going person to work with! Wedding days are stressful enough and it was very important to me to find a photographer that would bring out the best in my husband and I amidst the busiest day of our lives. We both looked (and felt) like our natural selves in front of the camera thanks to Lisa. And including our puppy in all the photos was an added bonus! She was so flexible with our huge wedding party, flower girl, ring bearers and high energy chocolate lab. I would hire Lisa a million times over and could not recommend her enough!

Hiring Lisa for our wedding was one of the best decisions I made! She was so easy to communicate with and very personable. She put us at ease while shooting our engagement and wedding photos which made it a much more fun experience. Our wedding photos were everything I had hoped for and I’d recommend her to any and all friends and family getting married.

We absolutely love Lisa! Our engagement shoot felt more like a date/adventure that Lisa led us on. She was beyond professional; we felt comfortable and most importantly we were able to act natural in front of her camera. We loved her posing instructions, too. We weren't too cheesy or stiff and Lisa captured a lot of our movements! It's been 4 months since our shoot and I still look at our photos <3 I love them so much, and you will absolutely love working with Lisa for your engagement shoot or wedding!

All we can say is WOW! I found Lisa's information on a Bridal Facebook page and was so happy I did! My husband and I originally booked her for engagement pictures for early spring, but we decided to elope and had to change the date of our shoot. Lisa was so understanding and flexible. We were able to change our date and with her recommendations ended up getting the most beautiful fall colors as well! When we received the photos back we were blown away! Lisa did such a great job picking locations, making us feel at ease and taking time to get to know our personalities in the short time we shot with her. We even had the opportunity to do a wardrobe switch and bring a prop. Lisa really took her time and got amazing candid shots that displayed our true smiles and personalities again. I am already thinking of reasons to book her again and hope to work with her in the future! Book with Lisa, you will not be disappointed!

Lisa was amazing, she did our engagement photos and our wedding and I am so happy with everything. She sent our photos over through a digital link and we were able to access and share amongst devices so easily. She took good care of us and got some awesome shots. Her assistant was really nice and they both knew exactly what they were doing.

If you are a newly engaged couple, I would highly recommend booking Lisa Tune Photography for your engagement pictures! She was so easy to work with from the start. We both graduated from MSU, and knew we wanted our pictures taken on campus. We gave her a few dates that we were available, and she accommodated our schedules and made the trip to East Lansing. Once we were there, Lisa took her time making sure we felt comfortable. We never once felt rushed. Lisa was flexible and took our pictures at all of our favorite spots on campus. The best part of working with Lisa was that we got to be ourselves and she captured us and our personalities beautifully. We were so comfortable throughout the session - she gave us tips on where to put our hands and where to look, but it all felt so natural and like we were the focus of her attention, not just our poses. The result was better than we could have imagined. She took hundreds of high-quality photos that we will treasure forever. Thank you, Lisa Tune Photography for everything!

Lisa Tune is the best photographer I know. She was a joy to work with in the preparation process and on our big day too. She was so good at keeping everybody on a good timeline to make for a good flow of the day and allow enough time for pictures at proper times. She is beyond easy to work with, very kind and encouraging, a joy to be around. I felt very supported by her the whole time and didn’t have a single worry about anything regarding photos on my wedding day. She has already shared some sneak peek photos with me which turned out incredible. She is creative with thinking of different angles to photograph at too. Can’t recommend Lisa enough, and I can’t imagine anyone else out there doing as excellent of a job as she did. Highly, a thousand times recommend her.

I highly recommend Lisa Tune for wedding photography. She was great to work with throughout our entire planning process and was really kind and flexible when we rescheduled our 2020 October wedding to July of 2021 due to Covid. For our rescheduled wedding, we were originally planning for Lisa to come to the ceremony only. At the last minute (ie, the week of the wedding) we decided we'd like her to come to the reception too, and we are so glad that she was able to make it despite the extremely short notice. She gave us sneak peak photos within a week of the wedding, and gave us the full album within six weeks, which was great because that meant we were able to have photos from the wedding right away. The photos we got from Lisa are so beautiful. She was great at posing the bridal party and my husband and I, so we have a nice mix of classy portraits and fun/cute styled photos. She got action shots of all the important moments, and made sure to get a few extra portraits of my husband and I right as the sun was about to set, when the lighting was just gorgeous. Lisa is a photographer who has it all -- the artistic ability to produce photos that I will cherish for a lifetime, paired with a truly professional communication and business skillset. I can't recommend her enough.

We used Lisa Tune Photography for our wedding and the product we got was outstanding. Lisa is very professional and knows how to get the most out of your special day. She is exteremely personable and is able to keep you comfortable while taking pictures especially if taking pictures isn't something you particularly enjoy. She was able to balance portraits vs scenery, etc. I would recommend Lisa to anyone looking for something like engagement pictures to as large as your wedding. She will work with you and make sure you get what you're looking for. Her ability to frame photos based on your location was exactly what we wanted. A true professional.

Lisa was such a wonderful photographer to work with for both our engagement and wedding photos. She captured both the moments and portraits we asked for and some wonderful candid shots. Our engagement photos were taken during such a cold and windy day I thought they would not turn out well just due to weather, but Lisa did magic with them and they came our beautifully. Additionally, the photos from our wedding day were so bright and natural. I would definitely recommend Lisa for any couples in Metro Detroit!

This review is long overdue! I honestly could not have asked for a more perfect photographer for our special day. Lisa was very professionally, punctual, and easy to work with. We got engaged late summer and decided to have a small wedding with only immediate family due to the pandemic. Two months out from our desired wedding date, we reached out to Lisa and fortunatelt for us, was available! Leading up the wedding, Lisa kept constant communication and plan the day. Since our ceremony was smaller, we planned for two hours which was perfect for us. On the day of the wedding, she was there on time and we took all of our desired photos! She had great suggestions throughout the day which resulted in amazing photographs that we will cherish forever! After the ceremony, she edited the photos and was able to provide them back to us so quickly! They were gorgeous and our favorites ended up being the candids that she captured during the ceremony! We hope that we can have another event where we can book Lisa again. Lisa, thank you so much for your time and effort in working with us!

We used Lisa for both our engagement session and wedding, and the photos are absolutely flawless. Lisa was a great choice for us! We were looking to stay within a certain budget as well as, receive photography that was natural, luminous and true to ourselves. Lisa met all those expectations and more! She did (and has done) a great job communicating with us about our big day and engagement session.
