Lisa VanHorton was absolutely amazing for our wedding at Daniel’s Vineyard in Mccordsville, Indiana. I went into wedding planning so unorganized and had no idea what I was doing and she was always available to help along the way. She kept me on track for certain deadlines and reminded me of things I didn’t even realize I knew I needed! One of my favorite things about Lisa (besides how sweet she is) is how calm she was at all times. She never gave off that she was stressed to me! On the day of the wedding, she handled everything. We dropped off things off at our rehearsal and she took care of everything the morning of our wedding. She did it all from coordinating with the venue, our dessert delivery, our late night snack delivery, DJ set up, shuttle bus, florist set up and everything in between. I don’t think I really had to talk to a vendor the day of my wedding as she handled it all! Leading up to the big day, she was so easy to text any last minute questions or things that came to mind. She always had a positive response and always a solution. Our vendors even commented how organized and laid out the timeline and materials for them were. They were saying how she has one of the best layouts of things which ultimately kept them all organized. I’m unaware of anything that went wrong at our wedding and owe that all to Lisa Vanhorton! I can’t imagine doing all of this all over again without her and her team. She is a dream and has so much industry knowledge and experience.

Lisa was 100% the best decision that we made about wedding vendors! We hired her once we had already booked all of our vendors and were about 4 months out. She helped us in so many ways and it literally would not have been the same without her! She was there for every question, every stumbling block, and provided so much support and assistance in all aspects of our wedding planning! She also took some great videos of the ceremony that I look at often. If you are hesitant about booking a planner, DO IT! And do it early! We researched and spoke to a few planners and Lisa was by far the best! I hope that we will stay in touch even after the wedding!

Lisa is wonderful to work with! She provided us with top notch vendor recommendations and coordination, reception decoration, and timeline management. Lisa is prepared for anything, she even provided the wedding party with pocket sized day-of-timelines (so handy!) I cannot thank her enough and am so glad we hired her as our coordinator.

Lisa is a DREAM! I seriously don't think our wedding would've been as amazing as it was with out Lisa in our corner! I am a wedding professional, and have worked with Lisa in the past and KNEW I had to have her on my wedding day as well! She was extremely helpful leading up to the wedding, as well as day of with her assistant! One of my favorite things about working with Lisa is that she has such a cheerful, and calming presence! Where do I even begin! From the first time I met Lisa her open minded, fun personality stuck out to me. I felt like we were quickly friends after our first meeting. Lisa’s experience and knowledge of the industry makes all of her clients feel like they are in good hands.( which they are) I trust Lisa and her team to pull off a beautiful day and I know she can for you too! Lisa was amazing to work with. I couldn't have been happier with her services. When she showed up to our 2nd meeting months before the big day with a tentative timeline in hand to review, and table setting ideas in her bag of magic tricks - I was sold. Not to mention the middle of the night "help, im stressed" texts that she immediately responded to. She was a life-saver, a dress handler, a planner, organized, thorough, professional, and quiet frankly a new friend. Don't try to tell yourself you can do it alone - even if you CAN - don't put the burden on yourself or your family. She is worth every penny and then some.

As a bride, I am so incredibly thankful to have had Lisa with me throughout the entire wedding planning process and day of details. From the beginning, I felt very comfortable with her. She was kind, communicative, professional, and very helpful in answering all of my questions. She was a much needed resource throughout the planning process, and she kept the day running so smooth and bringing me some extra calm energy when I needed it. I don't know of anything that may have/did go wrong on our wedding day, in my eyes it was absolutely perfect! And that's all due to Lisa handling everything for us. We (I) could not have done it without her, and am positive that we made the right decision to bring Lisa in as our Wedding Planner. We would choose her again in a heartbeat, and will be saving her contact info for the big 10-year vow renewal!

Lisa is HUGE reason why our wedding day was flawless. I hired Lisa as a “day of” planner but Lisa was there for me during the whole wedding planning. She went above and beyond her role to make sure our wedding day was stressless. She reached out to all of my vendors to make sure they knew their set up times and where they needed to be which was a HUGE help. She became the contact for my wedding which was a weight lifted. She helped us so much during the rehearsal (it was our officiant’s first wedding) at the statehouse. She made sure everyone knew where they were going and when. On the day of the wedding, she showed up with a calming smile and assured me everything was going smoothly. She made sure my groom and I didn’t see each other before the wedding which was not easy with all the moving parts. She was definitely a friendly, calming face to see throughout the day to calm my nerves. After the ceremony, she helped bustle my dress and made sure the order of events at the reception happened on time and moved quickly. I cannot recommend Lisa enough. She will relieve any stress you might have. She will make sure any issue during the day does not effect you and she takes care of it. Lisa knows weddings and this was the best decision we made while planning the wedding. HIRE HER!

Lisa was an absolute dream to work with! Her knowledge of the Indianapolis wedding vendors is amazing, and she helped me curate a dream team of wedding vendors. Lisa was the absolute BEST investment I made for my wedding day! I originally booked with Lisa for day-of coordination in 2019 and had to reschedule my wedding to 2021 due to COVID. Lisa was so accommodating with the change! She was incredibly responsive and easy to talk to. I really don’t know where to begin with all she did for us! She reached out and made contact with all of our vendors, crafted a day-of timeline and handed out little “pocket” day-of timelines to all our wedding party at our rehearsal dinner (which was so awesome!), she had anything we needed on the day of the wedding! She set up all of my decor beautifully at our venue! She even packed all of our things up and the end of the night and put it in our car! More than anything, you can tell Lisa absolutely loves what she does and genuinely wants you and your partner to have the best wedding day ever! I truly could not thank her enough. Wow - Lisa was absolutely INCREDIBLE. She was beyond organized, helped us get through all of the nitty gritty details (that honestly we didn't even think of), and helped us stay within our budget. Lisa made the day-of our wedding seamless and unforgettable.

Wow! Where to begin? My daughter finally had her wedding this past weekend. Little did we know when we began this journey .....almost 2 1/2 year ago....that we would be so blessed to have found the perfect person to get us through the trials, tribulations and COVID! Lisa was simply amazing. When my daughter decided to postpone her wedding in 2020, Lisa pivoted immediately, helping us change all of the vendors that we had set up for that year. She never missed a phone call, zoom meeting or in-person meeting. Tory and I were so grateful for her calm demeanor and extensive knowledge on all things wedding! When Tory had an idea that she wanted to pursue....Lisa always had someone that she knew that could meet her request. Lisa was an advocate for us when we had to make decisions and would work behind the scenes to ensure that everything was perfect. I know that on the day of the wedding, we all knew that we could fully enjoy the joyful moments without a care. Lisa had every detail planned out. I know that all of our vendors were so thrilled when they knew that Lisa was our planner! She put together a special "pocket addition" of the timeline for the wedding day....and handed them out to the entire wedding party. That was such a help, knowing that we didn't have to field the questions as to who had to be where at what time. I can honestly say, we found an angel in Lisa. She understood Tory's visions and always surprised us when she would anticipate all that "might happen" ....always with a well laid out plan. I would give her a 10....if there were that many stars! She is simply THE BEST!

HIRE THIS WOMAN!!! I truly could not recommend Lisa more. I hired her in 2019 to plan my 2020 wedding (which we then had to postpone to 2021) and throughout our 2 year process, she was my rock. She was so incredibly helpful, positive, and always ready to calm me down when I started to panic. She was a phenomenal communicator and I could always rely on her to respond to my (many) emails within 24 hours. On the day of, I woke up with a horrendous cold and found out that my wedding day was going to be cold and very rainy and Lisa swooped in and assured me that despite it all, my day was going to be perfect. She took the reins and insured that the outdoor cocktail party and pictures I had planned were going to be rearranged into something equally as beautiful indoors. She kept me calm, made sure everyone and everything was where it needed to be, kept everything on schedule and did it with the most calming presence. For someone who is as type A as humanly possible and who did not envision a cold, rainy wedding day, I didn’t have a care in the world because Lisa had it covered and it felt as seamless and perfect as it would have if it were warm and sunny. She was one of the very best decisions I could have made during my wedding process and I couldn’t recommend her more. She is AMAZING and you won’t regret it.

Lisa was amazing! From day one until wedding day I was never worried about the big day going as planned. On wedding day I was relaxed knowing I had Lisa making everything perfect. LISA IS THE BEST. Seriously. With her by my side it was such a seamless wedding. She has a sense of calm and quick thinking for whatever situation. She’s so easy to talk to and has an amazing personality. It feels like she’s your go to friend whenever you need anything. During the wedding coordinator selection process I called different people and just felt like Lisa was different than all the others, super bubbly, fun, and professional and will make you feel comfortable.

Lisa was the absolute BEST! We hired her to be our day-of coordinator, but she was there every step of the way from the time we hired her all the way up to the wedding day. She was always available to answer questions or offer suggestions. I am a total control freak and Lisa is the only person I could have trusted to take charge and get things done! It was so nice for us and our families to be able to actually enjoy the day and not have to worry about all of the tiny details since she had it all covered! It was originally supposed to rain on our wedding day and she made us feel so comfortable about our backup plan, if we were to need it. She was watching the weather forecast as closely as we were, and when it changed for the better last minute, she texted to get us hyped! She also had extra decor that we were able to borrow (cake stand, easel) last minute. You can just tell she truly cares about you having the perfect wedding day. Hire Lisa Norris Events! Having Lisa throughout planning and on our wedding day was absolutely priceless. I like to plan things, be organized, stick to a budget, and do my research, I wasn’t sure a planner was needed. During the planning process it dawned on me that planning a large event with food, entertainment, rentals, and 100+ guests takes experience. A planner was very much needed! Lisa answered all my questions along the way, gave me her opinion when I asked for it, and ultimately saved us money and time with her recommendations and prompt email responses. Aside from her experience and work ethic – it was a JOY to work with her. Lisa is professional, approachable, and kind. Our families and bridal party were able to be fully present with us and enjoy our day without running around to help out. Lisa had everything covered and more -all the things we would have never anticipated needing/knowing were taken care of. There was not a time during the week leading up to our wedding that we felt stressed. Luckily, all we felt was so very excited, celebrated, and loved – just as a couple should feel! I cannot recommend Lisa and her team enough to any couple planning their celebration.

Lisa was AMAZING!!! Truly the person you want on your home team when planning something so special. Lisa brought positive vibes from day one and I instantly fell in love with her. She saw my vision within minutes and was the ultimate hype girl I needed to stay positive throughout all of the crazy planning during a pandemic. We hired her as a day of coordinator, but she was truly there EVERY STEP OF THE WAY!!! Her and her team completely saved my butt the day before the wedding and was able to create 4 CUSTOM signs for us that I ran out of time to do myself!!! I cried literal tears of relief! You won’t be disappointed if you add Lisa to your team.

All I have to say is WOW! I was sad because I didn’t have the budget to hire a full on wedding planner, but I KNEW I needed some help. I am so glad I found Lisa who was able to be my day of coordinator. Little did I know at the beginning, that she wouldn’t just be helping me the day of. She helped me through the whole wedding planning process anytime I needed help or had a question! She responded so quickly so I was able to keep wedding planning on track! She was able to help with ideas, other vendors, and any wedding questions I had! Then, the day of the wedding came and I keep telling EVERYONE I know, it is worth it to spend the money to get a day of coordinator. I didn’t have to worry about a thing the day of the wedding. My family didn’t have to worry and they weren’t busy the whole day helping set up because Lisa did EVERYTHING. All I did was bring my decorations and she worked her magic. My decor turned out even better than I imagined it in my head. The way she set everything up was beautiful. Any time there were problems the day of the wedding, I just yelled for Lisa and she came and handled it! The day of the wedding couldn’t have run more smoothly. Lisa is also just the sweetest person and genuinely wants your day to be perfect! She goes above and beyond and I can’t imagine using anyone else! Oh! And a bonus! She lets you borrow her own wedding decorations that she has so you don’t have to purchase some of the items yourself. That in itself was so worth spending money on a day of coordinator. I would’ve spent a ton on everything I borrowed from her! Then to top it all off, she is the one that cleaned up all of my decorations and packed them back up. She got all of our gifts and cards and then made sure everything ended up in a family member’s car to go home that night! It seriously made the day so much more enjoyable for me and my family and I highly recommend using her!

I wasn't sure that I needed a day-of-coordinator when I started planning my wedding but I looked into it and realized if it helped my fiancé and I and our family and friends be able to sit back and enjoy the wedding day then it was worth it. Have you ever worked with someone so phenomenal that there are actually no words that could ever do that person justice? That's how we feel about Lisa! We hired Lisa as a day of coordinator, and even before our wedding was postponed due to COVID-19, she went above and beyond. She was always a phone call, text, or email away whenever I had any question or needed advice on something. She was my person to always text the annoying pictures of each Pinterest project I completed and she replied with such enthusiasm. She was happy to help and be considered with any and every decision we made. Just when we thought she couldn't get any better, our wedding was postponed for three months and, wow, was that her time to shine. While I was dealing with a whirlwind of emotions, questions, and decisions to be made all over again, she took the time to get in touch with each of our vendors to help take on all of the new obstacles. She was incredible. While there were a few hiccups among other vendors on our wedding day (as there inevitably always are with any wedding), all of them went unbeknownst to us because of her choice to go above and beyond to make things go as smoothly as possible. She handled everything like a champ and with a smile on her face. I will sing her praises for years to come. As I have told anyone who has asked, this woman is a WEDDING GODDESS!! To know her is to lover her. I promise you, you will not be disappointed with her work or anything on your wedding day if you choose to work with Lisa.

Lisa, is incredible with wedding details, organizing everything admits the chaos, and is even passionate about technology. She made my Dream Wedding come alive and is an absolute pleasure to work with – a true gem! There is no way my Wedding would have come off without her. Where to start... At first, I didn’t think it was necessary to have a day of coordinator but my mom convinced me otherwise. And man, was she right. Lisa was absolutely amazing!!! I didn’t have a stress in the world throughout the entire planning process and on the actual day and that’s all thanks to Lisa. Her willingness to help is beyond gratuitous. Heck, she’s so good she didn’t even need to consult me on the actual day which made my day of getting ready even more enjoyable. All in all, if you are a bride like me who thinks you can do it all - seriously reconsider so that you can enjoy YOUR day and let a professional (cough cough Lisa or no one at all) do the coordinating for you! Lisa was so fantastic as our day-of-coordinator. All the advice we received coming up to our wedding was "something will go wrong, don't stress out about it", "it all goes by so fast", or "I didn't even get to eat my own cake." With Lisa as our coordinator, none of those things were true. She went above and beyond navigating and communicating will all our vendors, setting up the area, flipping it for us (and bringing in her own army of folks to help with this!) and even coming back to take the cake stand back for us. We both enjoyed every moment of our wedding day and (as far as we know ;)) nothing went wrong (and we got to eat lots of cake)! The only thing I would have done differently is hire her earlier! From start to finish, Lisa did an incredible job planning our wedding. One of the best things about Lisa is that you can tailor her service to for your needs- she can plan every detail of your day, OR you can pick and choose which parts of the wedding you want her help on. Lisa came recommended by a family member of ours who is in the wedding industry. Not only was she organized, talented and effective...she was great to work with. She made sure our vision for our event wasn’t lost in the “noise” of other’s opinions. She was a steady and calm sense of security as well (especially on the wedding day). By the end of our reception it felt like we were saying goodbye to a friend. She is the definition of a kind, funny, talented lady-boss. Book her! You’d be crazy not to!

Lisa did an amazing job. She was organized, responsive, and jumped right in making sure my daughters wedding day was perfect. Second best decision I made over the past few months was to hire Lisa! (Of course my first best decision was to ask my wife to marry me!) I frequently told this joke to friends and family as my fiancée and I planned a beautiful 200 person wedding in two and a half months’ time. Lisa was outstanding in her help, identifying options, listening to what was important to us, and coaching us along the way. Lisa also helped us stay on budget as we quickly scrambled to get our vendors set up and all the wedding planning completed. My fiancée loved working with Lisa as well. She like to say that Lisa kept us on track and she was able to focus on the next decisions we needed to make. I couldn’t recommend Lisa more!

There are not enough words to describe my gratitude to Lisa and her staff. Her lovely and calming demeanor set me at ease many times. She took so much stress off of us during this journey and allowed us to fully enjoy our sons wedding. She has an answer for every question. Anticipated potential problems and had a plan. If we didn’t have it, she made sure it was there. She worked with our vendors, coordinated time lines, organized people, interacted with our guest to make sure they had what they needed Our sons wedding was more than we could have hoped for because of Lisa!

Originally I was very set on not hiring a coordinator, but as the wedding day approached I was feeling nervous about having to worry about all the small details and not being able to enjoy my wedding. Hiring Lisa as our day of coordinator was one of the greatest decisions my husband and I could have made for our wedding day. We met with three different coordinators and I immediately knew as soon as we meet Lisa that she would be the perfect addition to our wedding vendor team. Anytime we needed something or had a question Lisa was there to help us, both before and during the wedding. She was organized, fast to respond to emails, and always happy to help. She helped us immensely during our venue walkthrough, figuring out how to handle possible bad weather, and making sure the rehearsal ran smoothly. I am so thankful we hired Lisa and I know that she was one of the main reasons why I felt so relaxed on the wedding day. She truly went above and beyond to make our day special. Thank you Lisa for all your help and dedication to making our day perfect.

We hired Lisa Norris as our coordinator of the day of our daughter’s wedding. I am very detail oriented and was confident in my ability to handle the details leading up to the wedding. I did not want to have any responsibilities the day of the wedding! That was a day for the whole family to enjoy together. Hiring Lisa was the best money we could have spent on the wedding. Lisa has a calm and beautiful personality. She is a good listener to find out exactly what you are wanting for your special day! She works well with others in the wedding industry and has had a great amount of experience. Lisa kept track of all our vendors and communicated with them along the way. She confirmed all details with them prior to the wedding and handled all details with them the day of. She prepared a time schedule of everything that needed done and always shared the details with us. She accompanied us to our meetings with the ceremony and reception venues. I usually take many notes during a meeting. Lisa was writing down every detail and I was able to sit there and listen. Lisa makes sure that all the little touches are made to make the day wonderful. A couple examples are, she put little baskets of convenient items in the restrooms. She provided a nice little lunch spread to the rooms the bride and groom were getting ready in for everyone’s convenience and nourishment before the ceremony. Most importantly, Lisa made sure everything went perfect for us the day of the wedding. The person in charge of our ceremony venue did not show up the day of the wedding. The venue was very late in setting up the stage and chairs for our ceremony. Lisa had to take charge of the situation to get the job done on time. Lisa and Melissa’s team from George Thomas Florist worked wonderfully together to accomplish creating a beautiful room on time for our guests to arrive. Although I was aware of the situation, I had utmost confidence is Lisa’s ability to handle the situation and I was worry free. By the end of the evening, Lisa and her crew had packed everything in our car that needed transported home. All we had to do was get in our car and drive home! She arranged with our florist to pickup rental items. She had helped us coordinate with an organization to pick up the many flower arrangements on the tables and have them donated to people at nursing homes. I was definitely able to enjoy every minute of the day with all the confidence in the world that Lisa would handle all aspects wonderfully!

We can't even begin to say enough wonderful things about Lisa! We hired her as a day of coordinator for our wedding and she went above and beyond all expectations I had. She was a huge lifesaver towards the end of planning. She attended a few final meetings with us to help us finalize details and took notes along the way. When unexpected issues arose (like an on-site coordinator being absent on the day of our wedding), Lisa made sure all of our plans and arrangements went into place perfectly. Both our ceremony and reception were absolutely beautiful and even better than we expected, and Lisa made sure that we were able to soak in every second of it.

Lisa was very professional, always punctual and so positive. She was very accommodating and did all that we asked! So thankful we had her the day of the wedding. As the mother of the bride, I was free to not be worried about things!

We have been married exactly a month today! To this day, every time I see my Dad he still states, "Lisa is by far the best money spent on your wedding!" He was so impressed that by the end of the night she had already packed his entire SUV with things we needed to take from the wedding venue without us even knowing! For example, I wasn't allowed to keep my dress at the venue overnight. She made a special trip to my hotel the morning of my wedding when all of the bridesmaids were getting ready to get my dress and transport it to the venue. This made transition to the venue go so much smoother! Lisa went above and beyond , to allow not only me, but my family to enjoy our special day. By far the greatest investment we made for our wedding. Lisa met with me several months out to lay the foundations of the timeline, asking questions that helped direct me when I felt lost (read: all the time). Not only did she coordinate with the vendors, she came with us to both the church and reception venue for those meetings as well. She's the go-to person on the wedding day for the vendors and family, which means I got to fully enjoy the day without dealing with logistics. She even dropped off pastries for the bridal party to enjoy the morning of while we got ready and left cute little champagne bottles at the hotel for after the reception! Hiring Lisa was one of the best decisions my husband and I made when planning our wedding. She is amazing to work with and was always available to chat about plans throughout the entire process. The week leading up to the wedding was very hectic and having Lisa coordinate all the vendors gave us one less thing to worry about. She saved us from a disaster when she was putting together the timeline and realized that I had actually only booked a string ensemble for the ceremony but I had planned on having them play for the cocktail hour as well. If she was not as detail oriented this would have been missed until the day of the wedding! She immediately contacted me and worked with the other vendor to get everything taken care of! This was one of the best coordinated weddings I have ever been too. We had to move inside due to rain and at past weddings that has been nothing short of a nightmare. This wedding seemed like it was planned to be inside the entire time.

We hired Lisa to coordinate the details of our wedding. Because our venue was not full-service, we contracted with something like 12 vendors - from caterers to a lighting vendor. I can't imagine having had the wedding we did without her! In the planning phase she provided us with excellent vendor recommendations that fit in our price-range and communicated logistics to each and every vendor. The day-of, she made sure everything stayed on schedule from rehearsal to reception end. She also set up all of our decorations and made sure everything looked perfect. I had put together a somewhat elaborate DIY dessert table and she set it up to look super awesome. After the wedding, she took care of returning our cake stand & vintage décor rentals. She really was the “behind the scenes magician”! Our wedding was perfect and Lisa had a big part in making it that way. We highly recommend her!

Lisa was so amazing! From our first phone conversation, I knew I wanted her to help with our wedding. We hired her as "month-of" but she was super helpful even before we got to the month of. She answered all my questions leading up, and in the last few hectic weeks she took care of a lot of stuff for us. Day-of, we didn't worry about a thing. Lisa is a very attentive wedding coordinator. She is very thoroughly detailed and makes the day seamless. She listens to what you want and thinks of all of the details that you don't always think of. She made the day absolutely special for us. We could not have asked for anyone better!
