Don't hesitate and book Lisa Woods! Lisa and her team of photographers are absolutely AMAZING! The photos are absolutely beautiful, natural, spontaneous, and colorful!! Exactly what we wanted for our wedding! From the moment we met her, and she took our engagement photos, we knew we had chosen the perfect photographer for our wedding day and of course she didn’t disappoint. Thank you so much from the bottom of our hearts for capturing such raw emotions on such a special day for us and our closest friends and family.

Do yourself a favor and book with Lisa Woods for any event! Lisa is an absolute delight to work with. Her work is obviously beautiful, but she is also immensely professional. At the beginning when I was deciding between photographers for my wedding, she was happy to hop on the phone with me, and it was clear that our wedding would be in amazing hands. Also, her pricing is incredibly reasonable, especially for how stunning her work is. We unfortunately had to cancel our wedding due to Coronavirus / COVID-19 mandatory closures, and Lisa was so easy to work with, even though we didn't want to reschedule our wedding right away (which not all vendors were willing to work with us). We can't wait to work with you in the future! Quick post-mini wedding update -- we had a mini wedding on our day, and Lisa was still available and took photos of us! We appreciate that she was willing to shoot us from a safe distance. We also went all around the city and got really special photos. Her eye for photos is unparalleled -- the photos are truly magical and we're completely obsessed. Once we reschedule our bigger event, and for any event we have, we will make sure to use Lisa!

Lisa captured our wedding day perfectly! She is professional, down to earth, and friendly. We didn't do an engagement or bridal session before the wedding, so we met for the first time on our wedding day. She made me feel so comfortable, and I felt like I had known her for years. Lisa guided us through all the photos effortlessly and was able to get all the posed photos we needed but also captured some incredible action/spur of the moment shots. The photos she sent us were beautiful and better than we could of imagined! We are having a hard time deciding on our favorite photos because they're all so great. I would work with Lisa again in a heartbeat for any photography needs in the future!

We worked with Lisa for our wedding day photography. I saw her work on a blog and loved the style and quality. She is a very talented photographer and so great to work with. She was completely professional, friendly and energetic. She did a really good job of art directing us just enough, but then also letting us do our own thing while she ran around and captured all of the moments. She got all of the shots we wanted and requested, and was sure to do them early and efficiently so that we could enjoy the rest of the festivities, while she captured candids. We were so happy when we received our image gallery – there were so many good images it was hard to narrow down our favorites!

I cannot say enough nice things about Lisa, and am proud to say she shot our engagement photos and wedding. There are so many reasons why we loved working with her. First of all, we really wanted photos that didn’t look cheesy and posed like they were copied from Pinterest. Candid, beautiful shots that were representative of who we are as people (not models) that told a story, but also not so candid that people were making funny faces. Also, we wanted someone who was chill and easy to work with that could be assertive enough to get the shot, but not annoying. Lisa is the PERFECT balance of those two things. Third, she was incredible with my then fiance in taking the engagement shots and my new husband at the wedding. He hates having his picture taken, but you wouldn’t believe me because all the photos she captured are just beautiful of both of us. We truly feel so lucky that she took our photos and have dozens that are framable. Her second shooter, Jody, was also awesome and got a lot of candid shots of us and our families. We are so happy and wouldn’t even consider having anyone else take our photos if we had to do it over. Now stop reading this and hire her for your special day before someone else does!! :)

Absolutely LOVED having Lisa as our wedding photographer! Not only was Lisa a great photographer with an eye for excellent shots, she was also a kind, fun, and charismatic person--exactly the type of energy you want around you on your big day. Her positive attitude and absolute aptitude for her craft helped my husband and I--introverts not used to the spotlight--feel at-ease in front of the camera. True to her word, Lisa's photography style is to get the requisite portraits knocked out efficiently, leaving the newly weds to spend time with their guests and enjoy their wedding day. Then, she is around just capturing snapshots of the guests and the day as things unfold. And the finished products turn out great! When I was looking through the photos I just kept thinking, "These look like they're out of a magazine! They can't be pictures from MY real wedding!" Looking through every picture brought back all the memories from that day, and we are so grateful that Lisa has given us such wonderful remembrances to start our life on. We could not recommend Lisa highly enough! :)

Lisa is an absolutely incredible photographer and a joy to be around! We had originally planned to have her photograph our wedding this upcoming spring, but soon decided to elope to the courthouse with just our parents and siblings in tow. Lisa was accommodating to this quick change of plans, and with the desire to have gorgeous photographs of our big day still being tremendously important to us, we were happy to keep our photography budget as planned! Lisa snapped photos as I got ready for our wedding, throughout the ceremony, and then we hopped around the city to take even more gorgeous photos! She captured our day perfectly! We received our photo package before the allotted time and couldn't be happier. I cannot recommend Lisa Woods Photography enough!

Lisa is a truly talented and hard-working woman! After we had our engagement photos, my very thrifty husband was totally sold on the photography budget. We absolutely love Lisa's calm, professional demeanor. She is great at getting you to relax and feel natural in front of the camera! Our wedding day was even more perfect than our engagement session at Bull Creek! We got married at Mercury Hall, and Lisa did a great job making sure we got all the photos we wanted without wearing anyone down. We both felt so happy to have her there with us. The photographs she takes are so beautiful and have such a great style. If you want something unique and personal for your wedding photos, definitely go with Lisa!

Lisa Woods Photography was absolutely THE BEST! Not only was she super sweet throughout the entire process, but her calmness on the day of our wedding was absolutely perfect. Oh, and the photos....BEYOND AMAZING! The artistic touch in all the photos captured the day perfectly all while having a nice mix of posed pictures and tons of behind-the-scenes photos. We could not be happier and HIGHLY RECOMMEND Lisa Woods photography. In fact...we'll be using her again soon to do some family photos!! We love her!

Everything about Lisa is fabulous, and I would recommend her to anyone. She is kind, laid back and easy to work with. Her price is incredibly reasonable for the quality of work. And her work, oh her work. We are absolutely thrilled with both our engagement and wedding photos! They perfectly captured the happiness of the occasion, and included a wonderful mix of candid and "obligatory" shots that did not look posed. The shots are artful without being bizarre. She and Adrian made us feel so at ease on our wedding day, and I think they have invisible powers because I barely noticed them capturing wonderful shots. Photos are truly the one thing you take away from the day other than the memories, so choose someone like Lisa to ensure you have the best possible reminders of those memories!

I met Lisa 4 years ago when she shot my friends wedding. As a member of that bridal party involved in the necessary shoots after the ceremony and throughout, I found Lisa to be easy to work with and full of beautiful ideas. When my wife and I got engaged, we decided even though New York is full of talented photographers, we couldn't imagine having anyone else photograph our wedding. Lisa was on board from the moment we asked her to be a part of our day, enthusiastic and easy to communicate with. We also were fortunate to be her very first same-sex wedding, which she couldn't have been more enthusiastic about. She was considerate and professional every step of the way, taking note on the differences in shooting a same-sex vs. heterosexual couple, always making sure we were comfortable. I don't exactly love to have my picture taken but Lisa's confidence and warmth make it very easy. She doesn't leave you stranded, wondering what to do. She comes packed with ideas and guides you through each shot. She also did a fantastic job balancing taking photos and allowing us to enjoy our day. We were nothing but pleased with having her and her husband at our wedding. We have not seen our pictures yet but know they will even more perfect than we can imagine. I've only seen perfection from this woman. I would recommend her to anyone for any photographer needs!

My husband and I recently got married at Three Points Ranch outside of Marble Falls, TX. Before our wedding Lisa was able to meet with us in Austin and shoot some engagement photos. They were absolutely amazing. It only got better on our big day. She and one of her assistance were hands down awesome! We were really big into natural lighting and having pictures with the sun's rays coming through, and she was able to provide great photos. Her shots were unique and captured the joy of our day brilliantly!

Lisa was great! She did our engagement pictures, bridal portraits, and our wedding. She is super quick and you get a ton of images to use. I would recommend her a million times over.

I grew up with Lisa and have had family photos done by her before. I knew when I got engaged that she just HAD to take the photos for our wedding. Lisa is nothing short of extraordinary! Despite having an outdoor wedding that had to be moved inside due to rain, she was still able to get some STUNNING photos. They are all just beautiful and I couldn't be more thrilled with the way they all turned out.

Lisa was WONDERFUL! She was energetic and creative... never took a dull photo and truly captured our day! Her packages are reasonable, and the fact that you get a cd with all of your pictures for your use was HUGE! Loved Lisa! She was great!
