Lisa’s catering was amazing during our entire wedding planning and wedding day! They were extremely helpful, flexible and friendly. My mom and I went to Lisa’s for the taste testing. She set a nice little table up for us both; table cloth, charger plates, silverware and glasses. She brought out each dish and let us try it and talk about the food privately. Afterwards we talked about the food and what I liked the best and choose the best plates possible. It was easy, quick and relaxing. I did not feel pressure to choose a certain dish or napkin. When we would email them questions or concerns they would answer us by the next business day. Our guests raves about their food the day of and the next day. We loved the food as well. It was so delicious and the best wedding food I’ve had. I highly recommend Lisa’s catering. They are extremely friendly, helpful and their food is delicious.

The food was amazing quality during our taste test. I remember wanting to lick the plate but didn't want to be weird... On the day of the wedding, the quality and taste was just as outstanding as the first taste! The pricing is also something to rave about. I can promise you will have an amazing dinner without breaking the bank if you choose Lisa's Catering!

Lisa’s catering was our first and only food tasting. We worked with Jamie and the food blew us away right away we didn’t feel like we needed to look any further! Pricing was in our budget and the contract listed everything up front so no surprises later. Very honest! We appreciated that. The staff the night of was very professional and even made accommodations for last minute meal changes from a few guests which I was very impressed with considering we had a plated and served dinner. Guests gave many compliments on food choices. We would recommend Lisa’s to anyone looking for a high quality catering company without blowing your budget!

Working with Lisa's Catering was a great experience! The food trial and wedding food was delicious. Having them set up all the flatware for our wedding was beautiful and classy. The service was great during dinner; They were punctual in bringing out the food and quite during the speeches. Working with Lisa's Catering was so wonderful! Jamie was very responsive and helpful during the process. I loved how they set up the table for us during the tasting. - it gave us a good feel of how things would look at our wedding. The food was AMAZING! We went with the Chicken Supreme and Meatloaf and our guests were very happy with these meals. I especially heard good reviews from those who had the meatloaf. The staff at our venue the evening of were very friendly and accommodating and if there were any issues they didn't let me know about it. We highly recommend this caterer!

I hired Lisa's Catering without ever meeting them and it was be best decision I made for my wedding planning! Jamie was so professional, helpful, and attentive to every one of my (and my mother's) needs throughout the planning process. When we were finally able to do a tasting we were relieve to confirm, yes, Lisa is an amazing chef! I highly recommend the chicken and wild rice :)! Since my wedding was in a backyard and down a hill I assumed there might be some issues but, nope! They arrived on time and set up without any fuss. The food was served fast and piping hot and everyone raved about it! They cut our cake and got it served promptly. They even helped serve our small cake after my fiancé and I cut it. In fact the only time I really talked with the servers (who were super friendly and professional form what I heard) is when one of them sweetly came to tell me they were all finished and heading out for the night. My daughter was married in our backyard on Sept 9, 2017. We booked Lisa's Catering based on a couple of recommendations from people we knew. It was the best advice we received. My daughter says that guests remember weddings based on the food and entertainment - winner! The staff was perfect, professional and flawless in their execution. The food - out of this world and hot when it got to the table. They had to contend with an outdoor wedding and a hill and did it without a hitch. We had set the tables earlier with white tablecloths (we got them in advance from Lisa's) put on the center pieces, table number...but when the crew got there they transformed the tent into a grand ball room; it was lovely. I can't recommend Lisa's Catering enough. They were professional, their guidance was right on target and just a joy to work with. Thank you Glenda

The food for our wedding was amazing! We had people tell us it was "the best wedding food they've ever had!" The staff was so sweet and helpful!! They even made sure my girls and I had a plate of appetizers when we went upstairs to bustle my dress so we wouldn't miss any. They really were incredible and I am so happy we hired them!

Lisa's Catering recently staffed our reception. They were professional, responsive, and timely. The food and portions were good. The staff members were not intrusive, wore formal attire, and cleaned up before they left. Do yourself a favor and hire Lisa's Catering for your wedding reception.

Do NOT use this catering company! Our son and many other family members in his wedding party have severe life threatening nut allergies and after we sat with the caterer and told them about this and how serious it was, they made a "mistake" and covered the green beans in almonds! If I did not make a last minute check in the kitchen right before dinner service at our son's wedding it would have been a possible nightmare! Lisa the owner and her daughter both were very rude and did seem to realize that this absolutely ruined the evening for my family! This was the worst thing that could possibly happen to someone. They are not professional and actually argued with me on the phone when I called to get a refund for the mistake! They never even reached out to us after the event, I had to contact them! Worst possible situation and worst customer service I have ever experienced in my life!

Lisa's catered my daughters wedding a month ago. The food was fabulous. Many of the guests commented on the quality of the food. Jamie was always so responsive to our requests, changes and questions and very easy to work with. The staff were professional and friendly to our guests The costs were reasonable to other caters we considered. Lisa's is highly recommended for the quality of their food, cost and friendliness of the sales staff. We couldn't have been more pleased. Thank you for making my daughters wedding so special and memorable.

I highly recommend Lisa's Catering for your wedding! Everything was perfect! I originally decided not to have chargers for the wedding, but last minute changed my mind. Lisa's provided chargers with no hassle and at a great price! My husband and I both love Mexican food, so we decided to have enchilada's as one of our main dishes. When we originally tasted them before the wedding they were good, but needed a little kick. On our wedding day, with the spicier sauce we requested they were AMAZING! Our guests loved having a non-traditional option, and continued to talk about the enchiladas the next day! If I was able to do the wedding over, I would without a doubt pick Lisa's again!

We really enjoyed having Lisa's Catering do the food at our wedding. The staff was very friendly, and they had no trouble maneuvering through the odd setup at our venue. It was so great having a catering group there that had catered the venue before, and the food was delicious! The staff even saved us (the bride and groom) some hot appetizers to enjoy later since we were whisked away for photos during the cocktail hour. We used Lisa's catering for our wedding in August at the Landmark Center. Jamie from day one was an absolute pleasure to deal with. They were our first stop when looking at caterers and we were so overly impressed that we didn't need to look any further. The entire planning process was a breeze and Jamie was so helpful with all our questions and updates. Lisa's catering was SO amazing! From start to finish they were absolutely professional and so easy to work with. Do not hesitate in contacting Lisa's Catering for an amazing meal and more on your special day! I met with various catering vendors to do taste tests, and there is just something "home-y" about Lisa's Catering - it's sooo good, and very reasonably priced! Jamie and her mom go above and beyond to help make sure everything is as you want it to be... for me, that meant a lot, as we had a slight miscommunication about the hot chocolate bar at my reception, and Jamie was very attentive in getting everything worked out! Guests raved about the food, but Lisa's was so much more - they were the charger plates, the napkins, the drinks, the special toppings for the hot chocolate, and the spot-on service :) True professionals and catering experts!

Lisa's Catering was absolutely perfect for our wedding. Jamie was very accommodating and easy to work with- which is exactly what I was looking for as a bride. She was always prompt with any of our questions and patient and accommodating for any changes to our menu etc. along the way. We had a wedding of about 150 people and had a plated meal and butler passed appetizers. The day of the wedding I had no concerns about the Food/caterer because I knew Jamie would have everything moving smoothly. The servers were attentive to all of our guests and served salad, meals and desert very promptly so none of our guests were waiting for their next course. The appetizers were a huge hit- specifically the mini chicken and waffles (something unique, and tasty!). My fiancé and I had tastings with 3 other caterers and are SO happy we chose Lisa's. Lisa's Catering was great to work with, affordable and the food was excellent! I would highly recommend Lisa's for your upcoming wedding or event!

I simply cannot say enough about the excellence with which Lisa's catering performed in virtually every area possible for our June 6, 2015 wedding. The staff is personable, kind, responsive and very professional. The food choices are many, the quality is superb, the portions generous and the prices were the most competitive I'd found. Every detail was executed to perfection from the initial planning stage to the day of our wedding. We received so many rave reviews from our guests about the delicious food. Lisa's Catering also accommodated our gluten and dairy-free guests with ease, without any one of them feeling awkward. We so appreciated the "one stop shop" aspect of being able to rent linens, have punch and cake served, water goblets, china and silver, etc., etc. They truly accommodated our every need and did so with ease and excellence from end-to-end. I had no idea where to begin searching for a wedding caterer. I happened upon Lisa's during an online search. Lisa's catering recently catered our food for our wedding at 413 on Wacouta Event Center. Let me start with the basics, the food was AMAZING! This mother/daughter duo is great at what they do and they executed the meals perfectly. Starting with the appetizers- we had the caprese skewers, jumbo (literally, GIANT) shrimp shooters, and stuffed mushrooms. We had these butler passed by staff that were very well presented and did an excellent job of approaching guests at appropriate times to offer apps. We totally ran out- which is a good thing! The dinner: we started with a ceasar salad which was perfect. I mentioned to Lisa during our trial to go lighter on the dressing- because I have had so many salads at weddings with soggy lettuce. The ratio was perfect, the parmesan cheese was real, not those crumbles from a can. We served our guests the bruschetta chicken or the braised beef with vegetables and garlic mash. Everything was also a hit. Everyone's meal was served to them hot and the whole room was served in a very timely manner. No one table was waiting around forever. I don't know how they did it- but I was more impressed with the actual wedding day meal than I was during our trial! That really says a lot, because I was very impressed during the trial and decided I wanted them to cater our event. We ended the night with bagel bites and an array of snacks- cheesey popcorn and some chex mix if I remember correctly. People were walking out the door with bagel bites in their hand! 5 star raiting for the service, the food itself, the presentation, the cost, and the professionalism I received while working with Jamie. During my process of finding vendors, there were two other caterers that were contenders. These other caterers (which I will leave nameless) both called me and literally asked for my credit card number for a down payment before even walking me through their menu and selection process. Jamie was very prompt and professional and treated like a consumer rather than a dollar sign. Thank you, Lisa's catering for contributing to my unforgettable event!

We used Lisa's for our wedding dinner on 1/24/15 and they were wonderful! From our first tasting to the day of, they were great to work with. Our main contact was Jamie and she was friendly and excited to work with us, she always responded to any questions promptly. They were very affordable for us, we fed 170 guests for just under $4500 total, which is a great price! And the food was delicious! Everyone complimented us on our selections and said it was very tasty, and I have to agree. We offered a bourbon chicken or beef meatloaf with garlic mashed potatoes and fresh green beans, on a cold January day it really hit the spot! I'd recommend Lisa's in a second to anyone considering them!

We loved that Lisa's Catering is a mother/daughter duo who have been in the business quite some time! The staff was accommodating, flexible and professional. This is a fantastic value for the price. The food was quite tasty and no one went home hungry. Lisa's Catering even accommodated our last-minute request of adding two special meals for vegetarians when we learned two of our guests were vegetarian. We had a wonderful experience with Lisa's Catering. They had us in for a testing, and were really organized in finding out more about our event and keeping in touch with us. They were very flexible with our needs, providing a vegetarian and gluten free option for guests with specific diets, and a kids option too. They didn't charge a fee for cutting the cake (my sister-in-law made it), and the food was incredible. Everyone, from our fancy foodie friends to those that preferred simpler cuisine, was really happy with it. And the service was incredible, our reception venue said that the kitchen had never been left in such good condition. We were the first wedding where he didn't have to charge our damage deposit for cleaning up things left by the caterer in the kitchen, so the site staff were really pleased with them too!

As a bride I did a lot of research regarding caterers. The budget was my main concern. Our budget was limited, and we wanted to have a fairly big wedding. We had over 230 guests, and Lisa's Catering made the wedding of our dreams possible. The food was great, and the staff was amazing. Lisa's Catering was so wonderful to work with. They were amazing when it came to communication, flexibility, and professionalism. I would recommend Lisa's Catering to any couple planning a wedding! We loved them!

Lisa's Catering did a wonderful job for us! We had our wedding at Centennial Lakes Park in Edina. They were already very familiar with this venue, and knew exactly what to do. Our wedding was semi-informal, so we had Lisa's Catering do a drop-off picnic-like meal for us. They brought all the food, set up everything on the food tables for us, and stored the extra food (they already knew exactly where it should be stored, and let us know where it was!). They needed almost no direction from me--they knew exactly what needed to be done, and did it in a very short time. The food was wonderful, we had more than enough, everything went very, very well! Jamie was extremely friendly and really worked with us to understand our budget and goal for meal service. She made us feel at ease during the entire time leading up to our reception and even accommodated several last minute requests/changes. When it came time to our reception- everything was perfect. The staff was very efficient and friendly and the food was just as tasty as it was during our taste testing. Multiple guests came up to us after the wedding to inquire who our caterer was because they loved it so much. They made several comments on how hot the vegetables were, moist the chicken was and delectable the beef gravy was. Everyone just absolutely loved the food. We also wanted to provide a late night snack for guests and Jamie recommended their bagel bites, which I am very glad she did. They were the perfect way to cap off a perfect evening. I cannot say enough good things about Lisa's Catering- they are absolutely fantastic!

We reviewed and met with a few Minneapolis/St. Paul caterers and were immediately drawn to the timely response and ease of nailing down a menu within our budget. Choosing Lisa's catering was one if the best decisions I made for my wedding! We started off working with Jamie who was so kind and helpful through the entire process. She answered our Many many questions and really worked with us to help us find what we really wanted as far as meal choices and linen details went. All of our guests raved about the wild rice stuffed chicken. I would highly recommend it. The plated meals were served promptly which was impressive compared to previous weddings we have been to. We had a fantastic experience with Lisa's Catering. Jamie was wonderful to work with from day one. She is warm, welcoming and was very accommodating to our needs throughout the process. We had 3 guests that needed gluten free meals and 2 that needed vegetarian options and she was able to make all of this work with no hassle at all. During our tasting, we fell in love with both dishes (chicken parmesan and stuffing encrusted pork chops) and we couldn't choose just one, so my husband and I got both on our plates! And the food was just as good at the reception as it was during our tasting. Not to mention the strawberry vinaigrette on the salad was soooo amazing! We also had delicious bagel bite sandwiches later in the night. We received numerous compliments from guests on how great the food was and we were delighted with how it all turned out! Lisa's Catering also cut and served our cake for us at no additional cost! AMAZING! On top of the great food and great customer service, Lisa's Catering provided all of our linens, chargers, plates, and dinnerware. This made planning the wedding so easy for me because I knew all of this was taken care of. We looked at several caters and we are so happy we went with Lisa's Catering! We would both recommend them to anyone looking for great taste, great service, and great value!

We had our wedding 10 days ago. So many people came up to me and my parents commenting how the food was so flavorful and delicious. They said that it didn't even taste like typical wedding food. My grandpa, who only eats food made in his own home ate his entire meal! We were all shocked! I'm so happy I chose Lisa's Catering! They were so friendly and easy to work with. I felt completely stress free knowing they were taking care of the food. They had so many options and packages to choose from and were very affordable for any wedding budget! I got married in January and had a wedding of about 225 people. Jamie and Lisa were an absolute joy to have as our caterers. Everything from the tasting, to being so accommodating, helpful, and truly a joy to work with! The food was fantastic! I had many guests compliment the food, it was filling and delicious, and served warm (the way it should be!). During the reception, my husband and I were running around trying to talk with as many people as possible and we really didn't have time to eat. Jamie packed up our meal for us to take home, so we were able to eat it later-without us even having to ask her! Their staff were all so sweet and had a smile on their faces. I can honestly say my day wouldn't have been the same without Jamie & Lisa. They were a true blessing to have as our catering vendor!! Needless to say, I highly recommend them :)

Our main reasons for selection them were 1) the food at the tasting was delicious and 2) their competitive pricing! When you're having 300 people at your wedding, finding a reasonably priced caterer can go a long way towards saving your budget. They were great to work with and the staff was very efficient at getting the platted food out to the tables while it was still steaming hot (my husband's biggest concern about the entire wedding other than running out of alcohol). They were even helpful and willing to change one of their menu items to make it gluten free! The stuffing encrusted pork chop and gluten free chicken bruschetta were both delicious :) We heard many compliments from guests on how much they enjoyed their food and if doing it all over, we would DEFINITELY be using them again!

From our first tasting with Lisa's we felt so at ease and confident in them. Jamie (the manager) went totally above and beyond for us. The planning process was so easy and they were so flexible. For example, they didn't have the napkin color we wanted at first so Jamie ordered them and made sure they matched our blue. She gets the small details and will go out of her way to help you get everything you envision. I also appreciated that Jamie was easy to reach whenever I had questions. On our wedding day we held everything at the same location, but our venue was slightly awkward for switching over from ceremony to reception in the same room. Lisa's staff helped set-up with smiles on their faces while some of our guests and wedding party milled around in their way. They were really great and we appreciated their attitudes. Plus our tables and place settings looked amazing thanks to them! Our guests at our wedding had nothing but great things to say about our food and the service. We will definitely recommend Lisa's Catering to any of our friends and family.

There are a lot of catering services out there so we tried our best to explore some different options for our wedding. In many ways, most catering services are very similar and yet, Lisa's Catering stood out to us right away. We met with Jamie several months before our wedding and were impressed with her involvement and sincerity. At our tasting, Jamie took the time to explain all of our options and helped us customize a package that fit our vision (and our budget). Over the months leading up to our day, Jamie continued to connect with us to go over details and updates, which made us feel like she truly cared about our day. The day before the wedding she visited our venue to look at the space - we did not have a full working kitchen or running water so she wanted to be prepared. She said it wouldn't be a problem and we talked about a few options for how we preferred the day to run. On our wedding day we were incredibly impressed with how smoothly everything went. They arrived early and they were so kind and polite to our family and friends. Best of all, they had the food to everyone with perfect timing. With 175 guests we were amazed to look around and see so many people receiving their meals so quickly. We have received several compliments on their service and lots of comments about how delicious the food was. The staff is so friendly and Jamie is very punctual and a delight to work with. We will be recommending them to friends, family and clients of ours as we have been extremely happy working with Lisa's Catering from very the beginning.

Jamie, Lisa and all their staff were amazing! We have a great tasting and booked for my sister's wedding right then. So easy to work with and great all around people. They were a one stop shop for all our catering, linens, chargers etc. Jamie is extremely responsive and always there when you have last minute questions. I used Lisa's Catering for my April wedding and was absolutely pleased with their service. Both Jamie and Lisa were a joy to work with and answered our questions promptly. We had a seated dinner of lasagna, green beans, and garlic mashed potatoes. The serving staff made it to all of the guests in a quick time frame and the meal was absolutely wonderful. They even allowed us to make gluten free and vegetarian exceptions for no additional cost! We received so many compliments on the meal. The servers were wonderful and Lisa checked in with us frequently to make sure that everything was going well. We even forgot cake plates, and Lisa was there to rescue us! Absolutely wonderful service that I will continue to recommend to everyone that I meet!

Lisa's catering did a magnificent job catering my wedding at Centennial Lakes Park (Edina, MN) in May. Jamie made the process that I was fearing simple and easy. The Lisa's team is flexible, professional and accommodating and the food was delicious. I was more than impressed by the above-and-beyond service I received through the entire process.

With so much going on during the wedding planning, one of the biggest decisions is the caterer. Do yourself a favor and call Lisa's now and be done with it... You won't find a better value and you won't find better food and service. Lisa's had a great selection for buffet or plated (we went plated), appetizers, post dinner snacks and they took care of the coffee, punch, cake serving and left the kitchen spotless. Lisa's Catering was professional, cost efficiant, and very helpful throughout the planning process. The meal service and quality was more than I could have hoped for. The garlic mashed potatoes are a must, the ham lean, and the chicken supreme, elegant. Real plates, silverware, glassware, coffee mugs, real linens tableclothes and matching napkins were all the formal finishing touches I was looking for in my caterer. You won't be disappointed if you work with this company, they are pros!

Had Lisa's do my small wedding reception. It was a buffet style with chicken and swedish meatballs and garlic mashed potatoes (meatballs & potatoes were fantastic best I have ever had). Everyone talked about how good the food was! Would highly recommend everything about this caterer. Jamie and Lisa were great and the staff on site during our reception were so very nice. Very very good!!

After searching through so many caterers we found Lisa's Catering! They are wonderful and they come at a VERY reasonable price. The food was enjoyed by all our guests and we loved their quick service and willingness to help. Their location isn't great, but if you live near Anoka and not in the cities it is PERFECT!

Lisa's Catering is a great family-run catering service with fantastic customer service and professionalism, and the prices were within our small budget. We were able to choose foods from the menu to try and Lisa's cooked a whole serving of everything we chose- for myself (the bride) and both my parents! No tid-bits that you can't really taste. The service crew arrived on time and were dressed professionally. The food was good, hot and quickly served. The plated meal was much nicer than interrupting conversations to stand in a line. They were very professional, helped us whenever we had questions, were very timely in responding to us, and gave us plenty of options to choose from. They also have very affordable prices, which is definitely hard to find in the Twin Cities area. Their food and services were definitely good!

Great Value! They also threw in extras for little to no cost. They will charge the same price for buffet or for tableside dining. They provided linens for free and also provided all the kids with their own meal at 5 dollars less a head. Great value!! Good Food!
