o long and I was tripping over it the whole day! Everyone was concerned for my safety! I had requested that she make it a bit less than an inch above the floor, and she refused citing my shoe color. I trusted her because of her previous beautiful work - big mistake! She took my dress up some what, but I was miserable all day tripping on it. It was no where near taken up enough. I didn't catch it because I only briefly tried it on once she was done altering it at her house - my own fault. I did not take it out of the dress bag again until the day before my wedding. Also, she barely did any work on it until the last minute and had to give me a special Sunday appointment so she could have it "done" (but not hemmed to the proper length) barely 6 days before the wedding. For many weeks it had seemed like she was doing no work. I don't know why she chose to do shoddy work for a loyal customer. There were also weird stains on the dress (that had been given to her care brand new) that I had to spend the night before my wedding getting out with my fiance.... not sure how she allowed it be stained in her care. She charged way too much for doing such bad work. I would have left this review sooner to warn other customers, but life got in the way. You lost a customer who would have come to you for the rest of her life, and would have recommended you to so many people.

ding and then had to get my dress done while dealing with the crazy Texas snowpocolispe. My dress was the dream I imagined while getting married in Colorado with the “Wanted” snow. I highly recommend her for all your alterations, even wedding gowns.
Lisa is expertly trained in fashion design and alterations. We bought my daughter's dress in New York and it was a one of a kind with feathers on it and seemed really complicated....
For Lisa it wasn't. She made us feel comfortable, she kept her promises. The dress was finished and my daughter looked beautiful. The only thing I would recommend is to have her show you how to put the dress up for the dancing. We failed to learn how to do that and couldn't find it and get it fixed up so we resorted to a large safety pin. Otherwise we were very happy with all the fittings and the outcome of the dress. Perfect! She runs the business out of her house so the changing/fitting room is at the front in what might be a dining area but it works and if you trust her you will be pleased with the outcome.

tion appointment. I did my research and read reviews (of course) on multiple alteration places close to where I live, and I stumbled upon Lisa’s Creations & Brides. She had amazing reviews (and a ton of them), so I decided to contact her. I asked how long it would take for all of the alterations I would need (including adding sleeves), and she said it would take around 8 weeks. I went in for my first appointment in October (bridals were in December), and Lisa knew exactly what needed to be done. She even pointed out some things that needed to be fixed that I wouldn’t have even noticed (example: the zipper in the liner of the dress went higher than the buttons). For my alterations, I needed: shoulders taken up, sleeves added (and beaded), zipper adjusted down, boob cups moved from the actual dress into the under liner (some people wear the dress without the liner so it’s more see-through), hemmed the length, belt tacked on, and adding the bustle. She even steamed the dress for me before my bridal portraits! Lisa is a magician with her alterations, and she is extremely knowledgeable about what needs to be done and how to do it. My dress was absolutely perfect once she finished it! You honestly couldn’t even tell that the sleeves were added on. They matched the top of the dress EXACTLY, and I got so many compliments on the sleeves throughout the night. Just make sure that you give yourself plenty of time to get all of the alterations done before your big day. We went right up until my bridal portraits to get everything finished. Lisa even replaced the elastic loops for the buttons after my bridals but before the wedding just to make sure they were all in tip top shape. Lisa is super nice, and she responded very quickly via email. It was also very nice that you could make appointments online. I felt that her pricing was extremely reasonable considering ALL of the work that she did on my dress. (Seriously, beading the sleeves took two days in itself).

pes it will turn out just fine at the end of the day. Lisa was a blessing. She was professional and took her time making sure everything on my dress was how I wanted it. I never had to wait for her to be ready for me and we were able to set aside many visits. She knows what she is doing and is extremely qualified to alter and transform your dress to make it really fit YOU! :) She made my dress a dream and the price was very reasonable for the amount of work she put into it. I cannot recommend Lisa enough.

ce. 2 of the dresses did not.;Lisa made dresses for the entire female wedding party. Lisa started off swift with getting my dresses made, but then she slowed down. Everything ended up being rushed and I know I drove to her house at least 30 times during the making of my dress, all the other dresses (a total of 13 dresses. It seemed a bit much for her.
