Where do I begin?! Kristen captured our wedding ceremony, couples photos, detail shots, our cocktail hour, and reception. Our wedding day ended up being one of the absolute best days of our lives because of Kristen! The location was beautiful even in the rain. Our vows felt so private and intimate that we forgot the camera was even there (even though she was also our officiant!). And despite us being a camera shy couple, Kristen’s guidance for posing felt completely natural. It was a day filled with so much love, romance, and joy, which is palpable in our photos! Getting married for the first time was like diving into an unknown world, luckily Kristen was not only an amazing photographer & person but was also an expert on weddings. She is full of great ideas and had solutions for problems I would have never anticipated---like taking photos in a muddy field meant my heels sank into the ground, Kristen had heel-savers in her car trunk---problem solved. There are a million other examples I could point to, suffice to say you are not only getting a photographer you are also getting the person you need when planning and executing your wedding. We liked Kristen even before we met her because Little But Fierce is just a great name :) Once we met Kristen, we knew that we had found the right person to capture our happy day. Kristen is not only a great photographer but also a vast wealth of knowledge on all things wedding. Kristen photographed our engagement two years ago, and just did our wedding last week. She has the most calming presence, and is absolutely incredible at what she does!! She is poised, organized, and made sure we got every shot that we outlined on our shot list. We got to work with Kristen over two days for our rehearsal dinner & wedding this September. We had a great experience working with her and would recommend her to anyone! Some specific highlights that stood out: 1. Kristen hopped on the phone with us multiple times to talk through the weekend and help us getting organized. This was hugely helpful in planning the schedule for the weekend and getting comfortable with what to expect. 2. Kristen quickly turned around photos from our Friday welcome event and put a photo album up on her tablet as guests arrived on Saturday. We didn't even ask for this, but it was a very nice touch! 3. Kristen sent over a great sneak peek album within 48 hours of the wedding, which was awesome to relive the weekend on our honeymoon! Kristen was THE BEST! I feel so so lucky that she was our wedding photographer. We met a few times to work through the schedule which was incredibly helpful as wedding day details evolved. She arrived the day of to where my husband was getting ready... which he was not ready for. She was able to pivot and come do detail shots in the chaos of the room I was getting ready in. She helped relieve some of the last minute stress that always occurs by making sure we had everything we needed and that everything was ready to go as we headed down for first look. She definitely doubled as a wedding assistant/pro throughout the day and was incredibly helpful. We also had SO MUCH RAIN that day but Kristen scoped out some covered outdoor areas so we could still get the mountain backdrop we wanted for family photos. Her ability to take INCREDIBLE photos indoors made me feel so much better about the crappy weather. We were able to also get some photos outside when the rain dissipated a little bit. During cocktail hour and the reception, she was on top of getting group photos with different friend/family/work groups. On top of everything, the photos were far more incredible than I could've ever imagined.

This is a long overdue review -- My fiancé hired Kristen for our engagement in October 2022. Booking was smooth, and she was accommodating to any questions/concerns my fiancé had. Due to the location of our engagement in the Catskills, it was a high foot traffic area, and she was so patient in waiting for my fiancé to propose on the platform. After the proposal, we spent about 90 minutes taking photos in the area. She was great with directions, finding the perfect spots for memorable pictures, and very kind to our Frenchie. The results were stunning, and she kindly mailed us a few of her favorite prints, adding the sweetest touch to our experience. Picking Kristen of Little but Fierce Photography as our wedding photographer ended up being the easiest wedding decision we made. As bride & groom we just showed up and enjoyed our wedding. The resulting photos show how active Kristen was, we can’t believe it was one person who took all those photos! Her understanding of angles and lighting resulted in beautiful artistic photos, and she made sure the bride and groom’s completely different skin colors look natural in the photos. After (sort of) planning and realizing how much stress, money and anxiety a "traditional" wedding would be, I quickly said NO to all of it and opted to have an intimate ceremony at an airbnb on top of a hill which was the best decision ever and the other best decision was having Kristen who gave us beautiful and stunning photos to remember this special day. She made it so easy and comfortable! I've been a bridesmaid a bunch of times and some photographers wouldn't care about how much pressure it is for some people to be photographed professionally, they just make sure their timeline is on point whether or not you're enjoying it. BUT not Kristen-- she was so pleasant and caring. She helped with my veil, my dress and hair and made sure I looked my best. she's like a ninja with her gadgets warping from one place to another to get the best shots! also, she fell into a ditch and laughed it off and continued our session like it was nothing. Overall, Please please consider her as a part of your day and you won't regret it. She is a Gem.

We hired Kristen for our wedding in the Catskills and could not be happier. She was so professional, such a calm presence in the midst of nerves/chaos and provided the perfect amount of instruction. It was such a pleasure working with Kristen. As we all know proposing can be stressful, full of planning and secrets to make the moment as perfect as possible. First and foremost her communication is like no other. I started planning my proposal 6 months out and she helped me every step of the way. I knew that my fiancé wanted a private, intimate setting. We loved the photoshoot that we did afterward, everything felt so natural and candid. On top of that we got some sneak peak photos and our entire gallery faster than we had expected. Great photographer, got some great shots, impromptu and not staged. Kristen is very easy to work with. You never feel she got in the way but was somehow always in the right place at the right time.

I am rarely at a loss for words, but Kristen and her photographs have left me speechless twice now! My husband and I hired Kristen for engagement photos and then again for our elopement. I have only excellent things to say about both experiences. We plan on working with Kristen again and again to capture many more of the most special memories in our future. When initially searching for a photographer, I was beyond impressed by Kristen's work and her ability to capture nature's majesty without overshadowing the couples and all of their special details. When it came time for our engagement photos, we had a beautiful photoshoot in the woods and along the Hudson River in our hometown. Kristen and her magic did not disappoint! We now have countless fun and breathtaking engagement pictures that we will cherish forever. Of course, there was no question that we wanted Kristen just a few months later when it was time to hire a photographer for our December elopement. Again, she completely blew us away with her uncanny ability to bring to life the best of not only my husband and I, but also the backdrop to one of our most significant memories! While our elopement took place in a city on a cold, almost winter night, Kristen captured the vibrancy of the city, the warmth our love for each other, and our beloved families in a way that leaves me in awe. After working with Kristen twice now, there is no question that her eye and her craft are unmatched! But that is just the beginning of why she is second to none. She is professional, an excellent communicator, prompt with providing photos, and beyond easy to work with. Everything about working with Kristen was seamless, both leading up to and on the day of each photoshoot. My partner and I received our “sneak peek” images back from our elopement and we were over the moon with how they turned out! As a gay couple, we spent a lot of time looking for the right photographer to capture our day, making sure that the person we were inviting into our intimate space would make us feel comfortable and at ease. Kristen was absolutely amazing. She was open and warm from our first meeting and really listened to the things we liked and the things that we were nervous about (neither one of us love to be in front of the camera). Having her there felt like having someone we’ve known for years by our side. She had great ideas for locations and wasn’t phased when we wanted to take pictures at the local cemetery. Kristen really captured who we are and our excitement. We can’t say enough wonderful things about her as a person and her work. Kristen was kind, open-minded and accepting and will make sure anyone and everyone feels special, at ease and seen.

Kristen was incredible to work with from start to finish. She was always there to answer any questions I had through out our elopement process. As some one who is perpetually anxious by nature, Kristen went above and beyond to ensure I remained stress free. From ensuring she brought a speaker to the venue, had our 2 requested songs downloaded, coming early to the venue to find the perfect spot, coordinating where I would walk down the aisle to, staying a little extra to ensure she captured the perfect moments although our ceremony started a little late. We live in Tampa Fl, so having someone to be so caring and accommodating made our day seamless! Kristen was an amazing photographer to work with for our elopement. From start to finish, she was helpful, responsive, and easy going, offering locations, vendor advice, thoughts on timeline, and more. She captured the day with a calming nature, even offering to push our son in the stroller when needed. We hired Kristen to photograph our wedding reception in my parents’ backyard and we’re thrilled with all the family portraits and detail shots she captured.
