About this vendor
Ohhhh hello! Kristen here. I am the owner, operator, lead photographer, and everything in between of Little But Fierce Photography! My goal with my photos is to capture your happiness. So many of my favorites of candids or laughing shots that just really show the reality of your relationship. We can definitely take ourselves a bit serious, too, and get those sweeping romantic photos to get all the variety and facets of you!
I've been in the biz since 2016 and in that time I have photographed 175+ couples get married all over the Northeast. I cover intimate elopements and all out parties that go until the wee hours of the morning. I'm also an ordained minister and a licensed drone pilot! I can go near, far, whereeeever you arreeee *hat tip Celine Dion*.
I. Got. You. Covered.
So what does that mean? Well in the literal sense, I will provide the coverage of your wedding, capturing all the things you want, all the things you didn't know you would want, and things you didn't even know happened (weddings are a blur!). In the less literal sense, I am like an extra wedding party member + day-of coordinator + Mary Poppins bag of everything you could possibly need. In the spirit of the constant barrage of new streaming platforms, I'd say I'm a Vendor Plus.
Little But Fierce Photography LLC is an inclusive company and does not discriminate on the basis of race, gender, sex, orientation, religion, culture, or appearance. We believe love is love and we are more than happy to be there for you on your special day.
Hope to hear from you!

The photos we’ve received so far are absolutely spectacular, they are everything we hoped for and more. She has such an incredible eye for capturing natural, romantic, and timeless moments, and somehow made every photo feel so genuine and special.
Looking through our photos brings us right back to that day and all the emotions we felt. We are beyond grateful to have these memories captured so beautifully, and we truly couldn’t be happier with the results.
Kristen was hands down the best photographer we could have chosen for our wedding day. Not only did she shoot our intimate elopement afternoon, she officiated the ceremony as an or...
dained minister! She was extremely professional, calm, organized, calm, and flexible -- all the things were were looking for in our ideal photographer. In fact, she kind of saved the day! When we first called her a month before our wedding, she helped us choose our perfect ceremony and shoot locations, places we would not have found without the help of an experienced local like her. Unfortunately, about a week before our elopement day, we learned it would be extremely stormy. When we mentioned it to Kristen, she told us she had some availability for my husband and I the day before or the day after, and so we decided to switch our date a few days beforehand! Because of this, we were able to marry on a calm, crisp, Fall day like we had envisioned, all thanks to Kristen. Within a week, she sent us about a dozen Sneak Peek photos to download (with a code) and share if we like. Our friends and family were amazed with the quality of our elopement photos, and everybody's eager to see the rest within 2 months from our wedding date. Our photos are relaxed, intimate, some posed and some candid, and they capture every emotion of the day in one big story, which is exactly what we wanted. All to say, if we were to do it all over again tomorrow, next year, or in ten years time, Kristen would be the first call we would make.

ny with pretty views and even though the weather was less than ideal, we still got exactly what we wanted at the end of the day. She is very prepared and professional, and did everything she could to make everything run smoothly while I was almost too anxious to function. 😂 We received some sneak peak photos very soon after and I can’t stop looking at them! Cant wait to see the whole album and I would absolutely recommend booking her for your not so traditional wedding day!

ry regard. Her attention to detail not only shows through in her work product and her preparation, but she also pays attention to all of the other little things going on with the day. Kristen is a seasoned expert with a wealth of knowledge about all things weddings and can help guide you through key decisions about timing, spacing, design, and more. Kristen even helped me and my mom zip up my dress and pinned all of the boutonnieres!
Not to mention, her photographs perfectly captured the essence and vibe of the day, even better than we could have imagined.
We couldn't be more grateful for how comfortable Kristen made us feel throughout the entire process and we can't wait to continue to recommend her to all our friends and family :)

we decided to hire her for our wedding as well. Throughout the busy wedding day, she was super grounded and procedural, even doing the tough job of herding people for large groups photos. She never appeared to be flustered or overwhelmed, always being her chill down to earth self. Her photos came out absolutely extraordinary as well. So glad we got the chance to work with her twice!

pful leading up to the day, amazing attention to detail on the actual day, and amazing flexibility and support! On the day of, our venue got off from the timeline pretty significantly, which was a source of huge stress for us. Kristen seemed to be able to tell that we were overwhelmed, and she stepped up to coordinate with the DJ/MC vendor to get us back on track. It was incredible and so above and beyond. The photographs were everything we could have wanted, and a year later we are still so in love with them. I think the most important thing to note is that Kristen is a vendor with a lot of integrity. We never felt like just another client - it really always felt like we were the most important couple Kristen had ever worked with, and she moved with such high integrity throughout the entire ordeal.
Can't recommend LBF enough!

s wedding. From the beginning of our wedding planning Kristen was available for questions, suggestions and made us feel comfortable. When our wedding day arrived she was prepared for anything. Finding the perfect spots for pictures, focused on lighting- while allowing us to pose naturally so she could capture our marriage. We recently got back our sneak peeks and are truly blown away. The natural lighting, the angles are all perfect. We felt like we were being photographed by a friend- and it shows in how happy and comfortable we are. Kristen Little But Fierce photography is local to the Hudson Valley, so she knows all that our region (and beyond) of New York has to offer. We love our sneak peak photos and cannot wait to see the rest!!

In the rain and unexpected chill of our wedding day, Kristen still managed to bring out the best in us. We were worried about feeling awkward in front of the camera, but Kristen not only taught us how to pose and but also captured both small and public moments with care. (Our Hudson Valley venue coordinator knew of and trusted her too!) We cannot recommend her enough!

She carried my dress so it didn’t get in the mud, had extra safety pins, and even took some pictures in the rain with us…. And of course the photos turned out beautiful!! We can’t recommend her enough!!

ent that she understood our wants and needs. Kristen went above and beyond on the day of our wedding. Our wedding topper was missing and she quickly grabbed a polaroid camera and snapped two pictures of us for our topper. It looked great and we received many compliments about it.
Kristen also shot our rehearsal dinner. We are so happy
to have photographs from both events. She showed up at the right moments and also helped us pick the right first-look spot. The previews of the photos came through super quickly as well. We highly recommend Little But Fierce
photography!

ed to meet with us via Zoom to discuss our vision. She answered all of our questions and made us feel comfortable moving forward with her as our photographer. Leading up to the big day, she was organized and communicative about all the small details as well as the timeline. When the day came, Kristen was punctual, she made us feel at ease and offered tips when needed as neither my husband nor I were super comfortable in front of the camera. She not only managed to capture the stunning views atop the mountain, but she also caught genuine moments between us. We also brought a few props for our special Halloween wedding, and she was quick on her feet and found ways to incorporate them into our photos. We can’t wait to see the rest of our photos and reminisce about the special day!

h in the pictures she took for us…we can’t stop smiling looking at them! i didn’t work with a planner and in the lead up to our wedding, kristen went above and beyond answering questions promptly via email and providing recommendations for reception timelines. the day of our wedding she brought a calming and focused energy. she is a total pro. she’s super chill but helped keep the day flowing (and wrangled our giant families for group pictures in record time). she even bustled my dress for me a few times. bottom line: we’re so glad we had kristen with us on our wedding day. she rocks!
We had the absolute pleasure of working with Kristen from Little but Fierce Photography for both our engagement shoot and our wedding, and we couldn’t be happier with the results! ...
After an amazing experience with our engagement photos, we knew we were in great hands for the wedding. From start to finish, Kristen’s professionalism, creativity, and attention to detail were nothing short of extraordinary.
Right from our first meeting, she took the time to understand our vision and preferences, making us feel completely comfortable throughout the entire process. On the wedding day, Kristen was incredibly prepared, even bringing along a kit for any last-minute emergencies—whether it was adjusting my wife’s dress, fixing makeup, or making sure everything was just right for each shot. Her ability to anticipate these little moments made the day run so smoothly.
She blended seamlessly into the day, capturing candid moments without ever feeling intrusive, while also guiding us through posed shots with ease and a calming presence. What really stood out was Kristen’s ability to capture not just the big moments, but also the small, intimate details that made our day so special. Her artistic eye and unique perspective brought out the best in every photo. The images she delivered were vibrant, beautifully composed, and felt like an authentic reflection of the day’s emotions.
We couldn’t be more thrilled with the final results. Kristen went above and beyond, and we are so grateful to have these photos to cherish for years to come. If you’re looking for a photographer who will exceed your expectations, look no further than Little but Fierce Photography. Kristen is truly one of a kind!

I am so happy we had Kristen’s help on our big day, she kept everyone and everything on track!
We received our pictures and videos so quickly!
She even sent us a beautiful wedding gift including beautiful his/her paper to write our wedding vows in! (I will keep these forever)
Kristen is the person you need for capturing the perfect moments of any special occasion.
Kristen is so incredibly talented, kind, authentic, and so much fun to work with! I cannot recommend her enough!
When my now-husband and I decided to elope before the end of the ...
summer, we didn’t know how to start planning but we knew having photos from the day was something very important to us. Then we found Little But Fierce! From my first conversation with Kristen I knew she was who I wanted to work with. Her photos were beautiful, her reviews were stellar, and her calm attitude completely put me at ease about the whole process. We knew we wanted to get married in the Catskills and she helped us find the perfect place.
The weather was unpredictable the day of our elopement with crazy winds, fallen trees, and tropical storm conditions. Despite all this, Kristen remained calm and came through for us when we were almost positive we’d have to reschedule. She was totally prepared for bad weather and reassured us that it was going to be a beautiful evening no matter what.
Our wedding day ended up being one of the absolute best days of our lives because of Kristen! The location was beautiful even in the rain. Our vows felt so private and intimate that we forgot the camera was even there (even though she was also our officiant!). And despite us being a camera shy couple, Kristen’s guidance for posing felt completely natural. It was a day filled with so much love, romance, and joy, which is palpable in our photos! I seriously can’t stop looking at them!
Thank you Kristen for such a wonderful experience and the most breathtaking pictures that we’ll cherish for a lifetime. We can’t wait to work with you again!

ull of great ideas and had solutions for problems I would have never anticipated---like taking photos in a muddy field meant my heels sank into the ground, Kristen had heel-savers in her car trunk---problem solved. There are a million other examples I could point to, suffice to say you are not only getting a photographer you are also getting the person you need when planning and executing your wedding. We love our photos and she was such a pro on our wedding day.

With all of the chaos and anxiety in the minutes leading up to our first look, I had left my flowers behind -- but Kristen immediately recognized that something was missing and ensured I had what I needed. Our portraits came out beautifully and she even sent us a few videos of the most important moments of the day.
One of the most important things we wanted in a photographer was for them to capture the energy of our dance party. Our photos are vibrant and full of energy and emotion.
Fellow LGBTQIA+ (and ally!) couples, I highly recommend Kristen to photograph your wedding. Honestly, we'd hang out with her again just for fun. Thank you LBF Photography!

We immediately felt at ease with her and she very calmly guided us through the process of taking pictures. She was creative, and insightful, and clearly has a gift for finding beauty and raw emotion in every moment. R! Before we receive our photos back, we want to write a standalone review on our unparalleled experience with Little But Fierce Photography!
From the moment we inquired about her availability, Kristen’s enthusiasm and professionalism set the tone for an experience that will be forever etched in our hearts and minds. In addition to being the most sought-after photographer in the Hudson Valley/Catskills Region she is also incredibly kind, flexible, and humble … not to mention organized!!
Kristen went out of her way, even before our wedding day, to make sure my husband and I felt special, heard, and in-the-loop on necessary details. On our wedding day Kristen was more helpful than we could have ever imagined a photographer would need to be! From adjusting my veil and necklace, to helping coordinate family portraits, to saving the day when my dad’s Tux didn’t fit, Kristen handled every detail with grace, poise, and authority. Throughout the day, she provided invaluable assistance, ensuring that everything ran smoothly and effortlessly!
We cannot express enough how much Kristen contributed to the overall success and joy of our wedding day!
As the new bride and groom, we express immense gratitude for Kristen’s unwavering support and kindness and we can’t wait to see the full set of wedding photos!
We liked Kristen even before we met her because Little But Fierce is just a great name :) Once we met Kristen, we knew that we had found the right person to capture our happy day.

Kristen is not only a great photographer but also a vast wealth of knowledge on all things wedding. She knows the venues, other vendors and best practices and her tips were always greatly appreciated.
She made things easy during our planning process while still gathering all of the important details. We also appreciated her flexibility as we played with our wedding timeline and indoor/outdoor ceremony decision right up until the last minute.
The day of our wedding she was relaxed while keeping us focused on our timeline. We quickly took our first look photos on the lawn at Mountainville Manor before proceeding to a train trestle and field to capture some beautiful outdoor photos.
Kristen did a great job of capturing the ceremony and reception photos in a very relaxed and unobtrusive manner. She was also very kind and used her cameras to capture some video where it made sense.
We had let Kristen know while planning that we preferred candid as opposed to posed photos and she made that happen for us in a very effortless way.
We enjoyed working with Kristen a great deal and just received our sneak peek photos. As we anticipated, they are amazing. She captured the beautiful scenery, our natural candid smiles and happiness, and everyone having a great time. We can hardly wait to too see the rest of our photos!
Thank you Kirsten for helping to make our special day special!

She was a pleasure to work with during the planning process, and we were thrilled to get our sneak peek photos just 2 days after our wedding. ecific highlights that stood out:
1. Kristen hopped on the phone with us multiple times to talk through the weekend and help us getting organized. This was hugely helpful in planning the schedule for the weekend and getting comfortable with what to expect.
2. Kristen quickly turned around photos from our Friday welcome event and put a photo album up on her tablet as guests arrived on Saturday. We didn't even ask for this, but it was a very nice touch!
3. Kristen sent over a great sneak peek album within 48 hours of the wedding, which was awesome to relive the weekend on our honeymoon!
She also had a calming presence throughout the whole weekend and was extremely efficient in getting through group pictures and staying on schedule all weekend. Thanks so much Kristen!

evolved. She arrived the day of to where my husband was getting ready... which he was not ready for. She was able to pivot and come do detail shots in the chaos of the room I was getting ready in. She helped relieve some of the last minute stress that always occurs by making sure we had everything we needed and that everything was ready to go as we headed down for first look. She definitely doubled as a wedding assistant/pro throughout the day and was incredibly helpful. We also had SO MUCH RAIN that day but Kristen scoped out some covered outdoor areas so we could still get the mountain backdrop we wanted for family photos. Her ability to take INCREDIBLE photos indoors made me feel so much better about the crappy weather. We were able to also get some photos outside when the rain dissipated a little bit. During cocktail hour and the reception, she was on top of getting group photos with different friend/family/work groups. On top of everything, the photos were far more incredible than I could've ever imagined.

hat with her vast experience and artistry. She is equally talented at taking breathtaking posed photos AND sweet, unexpected candids. Every time we have worked with her (surprise engagement, holiday cards, our wedding!) I have found photos that tell our story, focus on us as the center but also take advantage of beautiful backgrounds, and frankly, make me feel like a million bucks.
Kristen is a sole proprietor that takes pride in her work and invests in you as her customer. Her pre-planning makes sure the day will run smoothly and collaborates with your other vendors. Day of, she was a calming presence that my family really enjoyed working with. Getting a sneak peek of our photos the next day was so wonderful as family was clamoring for pictures!
I recommend Little But Fierce to ANYONE who will listen because you are investing in quality photos and moments that you will truly look at over and over and always find something new!

otos and really talked us through everything and made us much more comfortable with getting our pictures taken. Not only did she treat us well but she made our dog, Winston a little model! The day of the wedding Kristen wore many hats while being the photographer. She got such amazing photos of everyone we asked her to but her candids are for sure our favorite! She really does so well capturing the moment and the fun of the event. She also made sure that Matt and I had everything we needed that day. Saving appetizers from the cocktail hour at our table, placing drinks at our seats when she saw us putting them down, helping me with my veil, and so much more. Her grounding and assertive energy is exactly what we needed for that day and we are so happy we found her! She got sneak peek photos to us the next day and works all on her own, which is pretty amazing. Highly, highly recommend!
This is a long overdue review -- My fiancé hired Kristen for our engagement in October 2022. Booking was smooth, and she was accommodating to any questions/concerns my fiancé had. ...
Due to the location of our engagement in the Catskills, it was a high foot traffic area, and she was so patient in waiting for my fiancé to propose on the platform. After the proposal, we spent about 90 minutes taking photos in the area. She was great with directions, finding the perfect spots for memorable pictures, and very kind to our Frenchie. The results were stunning, and she kindly mailed us a few of her favorite prints, adding the sweetest touch to our experience. I highly recommend booking with Kristen; she is exceptionally talented and friendly. 10/10!
All I can say is wow wow wow!!!!!

Kristen knew the location we wanted to go to very well. Since it was our first time there, she guided us through literally each and every step. She knew all of the hidden spots where my husband and I can have our perfect moments.
Kristen officiated our marriage so nicely and it was everything we asked for and more. She also captured all of the beautiful, romantic, happy moments that we had through it all.
Everything that we envisioned for our day have come to fruition and it’s because Kristen is sooo good at what she does. She implemented our ideas and all of her expertise so nicely into her work. Kristen has so much knowledge and if we felt unsure about anything she had no problem explaining things so we can put our minds at ease.
It was an amazingly beautiful, fun and easy going day.
Thank you Kristen!
Working with Kristen for both our engagement photos and wedding was an absolute delight! Right from our very first consultation, we could tell that she was the perfect photographer...
for us.
Kristen has an impressive depth of knowledge in wedding photography and was always eager to answer any questions we had. She took the time to go through our schedule and offered fantastic suggestions to make sure we could capture all the specific moments we wanted. Even our occasionally distractible wedding party didn't faze her – she managed everything with ease, and the group photos flowed seamlessly.
The candid moments Kristen skillfully captured during our wedding are beyond beautiful and will forever hold a special place in our hearts.
Trying to express our gratitude for Kirsten's incredible talent and unwavering dedication with just five stars feels inadequate. If you're on the hunt for a wedding photographer who will not only meet but exceed your expectations, look no further. Your search for the perfect photographer ends here!
Picking Kristen of Little but Fierce Photography as our wedding photographer ended up being the easiest wedding decision we made. As bride & groom we just showed up and enjoyed our...
wedding. The resulting photos show how active Kristen was, we can’t believe it was one person who took all those photos! Her understanding of angles and lighting resulted in beautiful artistic photos, and she made sure the bride and groom’s completely different skin colors look natural in the photos. She has fantastic situational awareness to notice what moments to capture. Kristen was more than a photographer, her accessible communication, people skills, and sense of humor throughout show her understanding of helping clients navigate important life events. She helped us to create a vision and plan, and then the day of both the short session and wedding she executed it with joy and professionalism, and even a hint of fierceness where appropriate to keep photo subjects on schedule. Thank you for any behind-the-scenes issues you managed that we didn’t realize! We will be even more grateful for the work Kristen did with time. Thank you!
