ser to our wedding date we did not hear from the shop. I contacted the shop about 5 weeks prior to our wedding date to inquire about our next meeting time to review the order for our big day. At that time, we were informed that the shop was now under new ownership. During the final meeting with the new owner, we finalized our order for the big day. HOWEVER, come our big day only HALF OF OUR ORDER SHOWED UP and some of the order was wrong (i.e. boutonnieres instead of corsages). When family attempted to contact the shop to understand what happened and to ask where the other half of our order was, the new owner insisted that we were wrong and that what we received was the complete order. After arguing and showing her our invoices (she still did not believe us), she realized that we were in fact missing half of our order. Thankfully, our amazing venue was able to put together some decor/center pieces for us and the shop did end up bringing SOME center pieces from a different order (not the same color as our order). The 5-star rating DOES NOT reflect the current services at this shop since they changed ownership. Little House of Flowers has horrible customer service. If you want to assure a smooth process with the flowers/decorations of your wedding day, do NOT book with this shop.

ssociate, Lynne, took time to understand the type of look I was interested in and what I might need. They were very flexible and patient while I was determining exactly what we wanted to get for flower arrangements and items, and also when we had to change our wedding date on short notice due to Covid. On the day of the wedding, the flowers were delivered on time and were beautiful! I had not specified any particular flowers I really wanted, just the colors and type of look I preferred. Little House of Flowers created exactly what I was hoping for with regard to table arrangements, bouquets, boutonnieres, cake decorations, and flowers for our wedding arch. They were affordable and the flowers were high quality. I was truly stunned by the arrangement they put together for our wedding arch and my bouquet. Little House of Flowers was so wonderful and I highly recommend them!

l contract for a May 2022 wedding with the prior owner and my experience with the new owner, Martha, could not be more different than the standards and reviews previously reported. I was notified 5 weeks before the wedding, and halfway through the final meeting, that the ownership had changed. At that time, Martha indicated “prices would increase $15 here and there” and that the quality of the flowers I previously selected were not usable at the time (based on what the supplier was sending). Almost a full week had passed from the final consultation and within 24 hours of the final payment scheduled to be due when Martha sent an updated contract that was a 35% increase in total cost (stating the flowers were premium flowers). In the week following, her communication was slow and she did not provide solutions or alternative options to keep with the budget, as I requested. I made the decision to cut out several other items from the initial plan to keep with my original budget and contracted price. I paid a higher price for the items most important to me in order to move forward. While I understand that there are some price changes out of Martha’s control, I didn’t feel it was an unreasonable request to work with me to keep with my budget. It was frustrating to not receive solutions for alternative options that would keep costs lower, especially as I was open and willing to use more affordable flowers. It also felt deceitful that Martha did not indicate such big changes in pricing within our meeting, but within 24 hours of the final payment due she sent a much larger bill. Given the change in ownership and change in where they sourced flowers from, there should have been greater transparency of the expected changes prior to 30 days before the wedding. Unfortunately, the issues didn’t stop there. The pricing of an initial 20% down and remaining amount due were both incorrect in the updated contract. Additionally, the document indicated that the 20% down was never paid. After several emails communicating the final balance, proof of prior payment, and payment of the remaining balance, Martha gave me a receipt that showed the total amount was still unpaid (even though at that point the entirety of the order was paid). And most disappointing, the flowers received on my wedding day were not the flowers requested and agreed upon with the contract. The items I paid extra for were not the correct flower type, colors, bouquet shape, or size. On top of all of that, the “premium flowers” were also browning. My entire experience working with Little House of Flowers since the change in ownership has been disappointing, frustrating, and extremely unprofessional from all standpoints: business management, communication, responsiveness, collaboration, lack of transparency, and quality of items received. This is no longer a trustworthy business if planning a wedding. Save yourself the stress, frustration, and disappointment, and use another florist.

ridal bouquet, I was blown away. We wanted bright pink and orange tropical vibes and that is what we got. Our guests and vendors both loved our color choices that were highlighted by the bouquets, centerpieces, and ceremony decor from Little House of Flowers.

My bouquet was stunning and I loved incorporating succulents into the design - I was able to keep and plant them later! The pocket boutonnieres also were highly complimented and made it so much easier for the guys to get ready. I would highly recommend booking this florist - they will not let you down!

I got so many compliments on the flowers, from the bouquets to the center pieces every single arrangement was gorgeous! Guests asked if they could take them home because they were that pretty! I will 100% use Little House of Flowers anytime I need flowers in the future and I will definitely recommend them to everyone! My bouquet was gorgeous, people could not stop raving about it! The staff members were so friendly and easy to work with (Patti especially). I would recommend them again and again!

Each flower had a bright color. The bouquets were put together beautifully and the I loved the center pieces they created. Each boutonniere and corsage was perfect. We loved how our bouquets, boutonnieres, corsages, and centerpieces turned out and also appreciated the ability to rent many of the centerpiece decorations. I didn't have the most specific ideas of what I wanted but they were able to take a few inspiration pictures and create something so beautiful! They were very aware of the August heat and chose flowers the held up amazingly well! The ceremony was held and the lakeside pavilion at the Maryland Zoo and one of my biggest concerns was how to take a non traditional space and make it look "wedding-y". There experience working with the zoo was critical here and they were so quick to suggest some arrangements in urns and hanging baskets which fit the venue and framed the space perfectly. Overall we were so happy to work with them and would absolutely choose them again!

She was responsive in emails and meeting in person; she delivered everything on time and executed the set up perfectly. Little house of flowers blew me away with the incredibly gorgeous set of bouquets they made for me. I got more compliments on those flowers than almost anything else in the wedding. initial quote. The flowers were stunning and helped me pull off the look and feel I was going for. My favorite item was probably how they did the centerpieces where we used flowers in beer growlers that my husband and I had collected from 12 different breweries. They suggested using vintage glasses to go with the growlers and I loved how they turned out, each one a little different and uniquely beautiful. The flowers looked so natural/organic like wildflowers but with a refined touch (which is totally something I couldn't imagine pulling off on my own!). I also loved my husband's boutonniere which matched his suit so perfectly. And our aisle of mixed rose petals could not have been more lovely to fit our ceremony. They also made sure I had beautiful sweet peas as a tribute to my deceased father who used to call me his "Sweet Pea." Loved every little detail. They even went above and beyond to help make sure my leftover flowers were donated to a nearby nursing home afterwards (something that was very near and dear to my heart) and sent me a photo and note to put my mind at ease. I felt like they truly care about the service they provide, before, during, and after the big day. I am so happy I chose Little House of Flowers for my wedding and I would recommend them highly to anyone. Thank you Patti and Heather!!!

Heather and her team are amazing and work their hardest to get every flower you want. I was sad because certain flowers I wanted weren't in season or were unavailable but Heather made sure to find similar looking flowers and even surprised me with some on my wedding day. I had also provide a few small items/details that were sentimental, and they were able to use them and make them stand out which meant so much to all my family members! shop worked with me to help me decide on what I wanted. The flowers came out great...maybe a little pricy, but they were very nice. The hydrangea in the bouquet didn't last but a day. All of the other flowers lasted over a week. Not sure what happened to the hydrangea, even separating them form the bunch, didn't help. Overall great service.

We got married in September and while our palette was somewhat Fall-ish (deep red w/ touches of orange and purple) we wanted the flowers to be elegant and all work well together. From the bouquets/boutonnieres, to the guest tables, to the ring of flowers around the lantern on our escort card table, everything looked amazing and was so cohesive. LHOF also provided the small vases for the guest tables and votive candles/holders as well. LOVED everything!
