Erin and the little lights staff are absolutely amazing! They made our wedding day an absolute dream! We got married on May 8th, 2021 and we would recommend this wedding venue to anyone looking for that modern farmhouse wedding with both amazing views indoors and outdoors! Great back up for rain... you can get married under their dream massive porch. If you lucky you can marry under the oak tree! Indoor and outdoor bars, patio games, fire pits outside for guests to enjoy! Beautiful bridal suite to get ready in. And right below an equally cool grooms suite for the boys to chill in. All around everything and anything you could want in a wedding venue!

Little Lights on the Lane is the best wedding reception venue ever! We got married Sept. 6 2020 so, our wedding was not easy to have due to the times we are in, but Erin and he team helped us through everything. They reassured us a great plan to be sure we went about the wedding safely, they were on top of all the questions we had and had so many options for us to choose from! The venue has everything you will need on your big day, it has a gorgeous bridal suite equipped with everything you will need to get ready, and the grooms suite is perfect for the men! They have many bathrooms to choose from, a great bar and different locations you can choose from to have your ceremony outside. It is beautiful inside and out! Not a bad picture anywhere! It’s gorgeous and you can’t go wrong with choosing Little Lights on the Lane! Love love love them! They are all so nice and Erin is so good at her job! Brides this is a must have wedding venue! They will not disappoint you! ❤️

I seriously can't rave enough about how AMAZING this venue and staff is! Erin and Torey were so amazing from our very first meeting to the day of the wedding. Erin has thought of everything when she built this venue. They make it so stress-free for you once the day comes. One of my favorite parts about this venue was the Something Borrowed Closet that was full of so many useful things. That way I didn't have to buy signs and other decor that would only be used once and then I would have to sell or give away. Trying to plan a wedding during a pandemic is something I'd like to never do again.. but Erin and Torey made it so easy. They were there every step of the way and helped out in any way possible. The venue is so big and open that it was easy to social distance. I feel so blessed that we found this venue and had such a perfect day! I would 1000% recommend this venue to anyone looking near the Cedar Rapids/Iowa City area. It's worth every penny, trust me!

I cannot say enough good things about our experience with Little Lights on the Lane. The staff is top notch and ensures that you will have a stress free day. They have literally thought of everything when building this venue, coming up with bar packages, and providing you a planning doc for you to stay in communication with the venue team. Added bonus, they have TONS of beautiful outdoor space that can be utilized for social distancing and air flow during a pandemic wedding. I feel so lucky that we got to have our wedding here! It was literally a dream!

My wife and I could not say more about Little Lights on the Lane and their staff. Erin, the owner,and her staff being on our team has been the single most important part of our wedding preparation other than finding my actual wife. They were there to help with every step of the wedding planning (recommending other vendors, contacting other vendors that would not respond, etc) and even were there to support each of us individually as we navigated the stress of getting married and COVID-19. The most important thing about Little Lights on the Lane is that they are there for you and great communicators. On top of that, the venue is stunning - absolutely stunning. You and your loved ones will absolutely love it - all the photos were stunning. I realize reviews can be biased good or bad, but I assure you that booking with Little Lights on the Lane was simply the absolute best thing we did. I could not recommend them more highly. I would highly recommend Little Lights to any engaged couple looking for a place to have their wedding. The venue speaks for itself. It is stunning. There is tons of space indoors and outdoors with a large groom's suite and bridal suite which allowed my bridesmaids and I to get ready there on our Big Day. The staff are phenomenal. They are experts in the field and will do anything to make your day run smoothly. They have an online "Wedding Planner" that helps you keep track of all your planning needs and communicate with LL staff in one easy location. Another big benefit of choosing Little Lights is their something borrowed closet. They have a large inventory of decor you can borrow for your Big Day. You really won't even need to buy your own decor depending on the size of your wedding. LL staff will help set it all up. One example of how amazing the LL staff are- I noted in my Wedding Planner that I wanted to use certain decor from their Something Borrowed Closet for my rehearsal dinner. When I got there, I expected to have to set it up. LL staff had already set up my entire rehearsal dinner! They even added some extra decor to make it look even better. The staff makes your wedding day and the planning leading up to it about as stress free and simple as possible. They are so easy to communicate with. They were also extremely helpful and empathetic in helping me make changes to my wedding due to the COVID-19 pandemic. They are also constantly adding things that enhance the space even more. Every time I went to an open house, there was something new that tied everything together even better than before! I cannot say enough good things about Little Lights. One look at the venue and you will fall in love!

We booked with Little Lights on the Lane before the venue was even completed, and we could not have been happier with our wedding location/experience with Little Lights! The venue itself is GORGEOUS - there are multiple locations for ceremony spaces and beautiful features inside and outside. This takes away any nerves regarding weather on your wedding day , since wherever your ceremony/reception take place on the property will be beautiful. The venue has so much natural beauty, you also don't have to stress about decor outside of table decor which is great! The team is also amazing, they are wonderful at communicating with questions/changes, and there are monthly open houses so there is an abundance of time to meet with the Little Lights team as well as other vendors. Little Lights have literally thought of everything to make your wedding experience exceptional and this made the planning process way less stressful. We love Little Lights on the Lane!!

Little Lights on the Lane is a dream wedding venue! Erin and her husband thought through every little detail when building this place and it shows. From a layout that provides multiple options to fit your vision, to the building materials, and picture perfect backdrops with adorable decor - this venue is not only gorgeous but practical. And I would be remiss if I didn't mention the best part of this place - the people! Erin and her team truly care about your wedding day. She listens to your ideas, makes expert recommendations, is very flexible, and will go the extra mile to make sure you are happy. I booked this venue before they even started building it because I instantly trusted Erin and believed in her vision. With any large construction project (and wedding for that matter), it doesn't always go as planned and there will be bumps in the road but Erin stays calm, level-headed, and positive. She was always open, honest, and available. I would recommend Little Lights a thousand times over! I wish I could get married here again!

Little Lights did a fantastic job with our wedding. We were early on in their scheduling of events after opening, but you would not have been able to tell. Everything ran so smoothly. There was a team there when we got there already setting up their side of things. We used the in house caterer and the place was kept spick and span throughout our reception. It photographs beautifully. It easily far exceeded our hopes and dreams for the day. We had our ceremony at my family's church, and LLE was very accommodating with our timeline due to this. I really appreciated them! I also learned the day of, they went out and found a table to have available for my wedding cake since they weren't sure if their tables would be big enough. How wonderful of them to go ABOVE and BEYOND. And they allowed my dogs to join us for some of the festivities out door; and this made my day! The most beautiful venue - inside, outside, and within the people who make it what it is. My fiance and I booked Little Lights on the Lane before construction even started - all we saw were some proofs, and photos & descriptions of their vision - a little overwhelming when planning the biggest day of your life. Erin had us hooked with her passion and determination to make this venue the most amazing place. Fast forward to our wedding - of course I am biased BUT it was the most stunning place. We were welcomed with open arms the minute we walked through the front doors that morning. Erin was there, hands on and helping to set up. No detail went unnoticed when they built & decorated LL on the Lane. There's plenty of furniture/decor, so what you need to bring is pretty minimal. The grooms suite & bridal suite - just wow. Spending the day in the cozy, trendy bridal suite was SO FUN - the hair & makeup area, the floor pillows, the balcony - everything is perfect in there. The large upstairs balcony area was so special to enjoy breakfast & lunch together that day. And of course the outdoors - the porch, the tree, the golf course, everything. Once you see Little Lights, you'll be hooked. We had the pleasure of participating in a styled shoot at Little Lights recently (a couple months after our own wedding), and my most favorite thing about getting married there is that now we're part of this super special Little Lights family forever. The space is always changing with new decor & such, so going back never gets old. Erin continuously welcomes us with the biggest, most sincere smile and heart. We couldn't love this space or this team more. You'll do more than just get married or host an event there - it's really something special.

The most stunning venue in eastern Iowa. We booked this before it even started being built - we saw the vision and we trusted the owners. It turned out better than we ever imagined. Erin and her husband were so incredible to work with. They were both at the venue the day of our wedding to make sure every tiny thing went perfectly. We lucked out with our fall weather, but what really sold us was the huge covered porch in case of rain - we do live in Iowa after all. No detail went unnoticed here and you can get by with minimal decor of your own because they’ve decorated the space so beautifully.
