We had the most beautiful wedding day at Little Log House Pioneer Village (the photos do not do it justice!!!) The venue coordinators were lovely to work with throughout the whole process and were available all day of the wedding to answer any questions we had. The bridal and grooms suites were large, AC, and clean. The dance floor was huge. The venue was exactly as described, and the gardens for our ceremony were absolutely gorgeous even with the heat wave we had experienced the month prior!!! Highly recommend a Little Log House as your wedding venue.

From beginning to end, our wedding experience with LLH was truly exceptional! Angie was always incredibly quick to respond to any questions we had throughout the planning process and was super accommodating. Working with Tiffany the day before and day of the wedding was an absolute pleasure as well--she answered last-minute questions for us and helped so much in the setup! Countless guests came up to us and raved about the space, saying they wished they knew about LLH when they had gotten married because it seriously is such a beautiful place with its own rustic, historical charm. The bridal suite worked perfectly for our two hair stylists and one makeup artist, as it was super spacious and had exactly what our stylists needed to do their work (the salon chairs are a HUGE bonus!). The Stable ceremony space was absolutely perfect (the big windows let in a lot of gorgeous natural lighting that is GREAT for photos), and I could not have been happier with how the Village Hall reception space looked and functioned for our guest count (~165), buffet-style dinner, and entertainment (dueling pianos). Overall, the staff, the space, the aesthetic--an easy 5 out of 5 stars!

Based in Hastings, MN, Little Log House Pioneer Village offers couples a rustic, newly renovated place to use as their wedding venue. This setting has been carefully renovated over the years to maintain its historic charm. From the lush gardens to the dozens of restored buildings, these surroundings will make you and your guests feel like you're stepping back in time. Founders Steve and Sylvia Bauer created this village as a way to share a part of Minnesotan history with visitors. The property now features 160 acres of land, and the team welcomes soon-to-be-weds to host their special day on the visually rich grounds. You will have various event spaces to choose from for your ceremony and reception. One of their largest venues is The Stable, where up to 299 guests can be seated on the bench-style seats. An extensive aisle leads to a stunning altar space, where a natural stone fireplace will act as your backdrop. Eye-catching chandeliers hang from the ceiling to cover your ceremony in a romantic light. Also available is the St. Boniface Church, an extravagant brick building originally built in the late 1800s. Outdoor celebrations can take place in Sylvia's Gardens, which features a large gazebo, vintage water wheel, and manicured lawns that create an enchanting, fairytale atmosphere. After you exchange your vows, you and your guests can then move to the Little Log House Village Hall for your reception. Before your big day begins, you and your wedding party will be welcome to use the onsite get-ready suite. The team at Little Log House Pioneer Village will handle setup and teardown, giving you more time to spend with your loved ones. I am a very detail-oriented person and zealous about seeing all the details come together. Beyond my excitement for weddings; my strong attention to detail, organization skills and time management will be a perfect match to make every bride’s dream a reality! When I’m not planning weddings, I love to spend time with my husband, friends, and family, trying new restaurants, hiking, going for motorcycle rides, and traveling!

Our venue coordinator that weekend, Tiffany, was fabulous to work with and doubled as a bartender for the reception. There was not a wedding the day before ours so our venue allowed us to get set up the day before and rehearse there too. This venue has 3 different ceremony sites and we went with the outdoor garden option, which was just beyond beautiful in June! buildings are beautiful. We had a Friday wedding, so we were even able to come set up on Thursday which was a huge stress reliever. Any questions we had leading up to our big day were promptly answered with detailed information. The bridal suite and groom suite provided were very spacious and nicely decorated. Little Log House also has options for indoor and outdoor ceremonies, separate from the reception space, which was difficult to find during our venue search. The venue itself is so unique and many of our guests commented on how nice it was. Little Log House does a great job decorating the ceremony and reception spaces with neutral decor that compliments any wedding style! Our guests also enjoyed walking around the venue throughout the night to check out the other buildings and scenery. The layout of the grounds makes for great photo opportunities! Overall, we couldn’t have been happier with our wedding at Little Log House! Their beautiful buildings and grounds allow for endless photo ops, the staff was helpful during the entire process, they are an affordable price, and we are still receiving compliments on the venue from guests and vendors. You can’t go wrong with Little Log House!

big and cute! The staff were responsive to questions and very professional. Since there was no wedding the day before ours, we were able to decorate the village hall & rehearse in the stable the day before instead of the day of. There is plenty of parking, and plenty of room in the reception hall. It is, however, expensive, and there are a handful of rules to follow. You have to pick your caterer from a list provided by the little log house of about 6 caterers, all of which are very good, it just limits your options. They had a preferred time for the ceremony, but when we asked them if we could move it they did allowed us to. The little log house is the sole beverage provider as well. They do a good job, provide the bartenders, wines are good quality, but it can be expensive. You are pretty much paying bar prices for everything, so if you plan to have an open bar or similar, be prepared to pay for it. Overall I would recommend!

stable or gardens. The village hall is perfect for dinner and dancing. We were going to hold the social hour in the saloon, but the weather didn’t permit that. It’s a photographer’s paradise, too, with all the different buildings and areas to take pictures in. The venue is a bit remote and a few miles from any hotels. You should prearrange transportation as you cannot get an Uber from the location. Staff were easy to work with and helped us out in so many ways. We highly recommend the venue.

ur guests and we had multiple people tell us it was the best wedding they have ever been to. From the start the staff was wonderful to work with. We mainly worked with Angie and Tiffany. They answered every question we had promptly and went out of their way to make the day special. They made it easy for us to do walk-throughs for planning and a rehearsal. We really wanted a picture on a tractor so they even got one out for us to be able to do this. Afterward they sent us some photos and videos which were amazing because it was really the first glimpse we got to see of the day. One of the benefits of this location is the multiple options for the ceremony. We had originally planned the ceremony in the garden but decided to move it into the stable because of the heat. This transition went very smoothly and we were very happy with having the ceremony in the stable. We loved how many aspects there are at this location. The garden is gorgeous, the field is wonderful for sunset pictures, our wedding party had a blast taking fun saloon pictures, plus the bridge, the cars and much more. The suites to get ready in were perfect and the reception hall was beautiful and so much fun. In hindsight one thing we could have done better is kept our phones with us for communication during the pictures and social hour on the day of the wedding. Since the venue is so large it can make communication difficult amongst a large wedding party, especially if you are taking pictures in multiple places. We got through it and had an amazing day, but hopefully this tip could help someone in the future! We highly recommend the Little Log House and are looking forward to when they open to the public so we can go back and reminisce. We were so blessed to have our special day here and it will always be a wonderful memory!

It looked magnificent and the property is expertly cared for and maintained. The suites were perfect to get ready in the morning of the wedding. If we could go back again, we choose Little Log House in a heartbeat. We got so many compliments on the venue and so many people mentioned that they would want to return when the venue was open to the public during Pioneer Days. Our wedding day was during the humid August month and both of our venues are air conditioned- which made our guests happy! Angie & Tiffany were both amazing to work with. The whole team was kind, organized and always answered our questions efficiently, even up to a day before our wedding. If you are looking for a beautiful and unique wedding venue, this is it! but the team at LLH is incredible and so easy to work with. We spent the entire wedding day at the venue – we got ready in their bridal suites, took photos in the garden, had our ceremony in The Stable and reception in Village Hall. The entire day was so dreamy and truly one of a kind. We could not recommend this venue and amazing team enough – we are so thankful we found LLH.

NNING! It was important for us to find a venue that had a non-church indoor ceremony space separate from the reception space, as we didn't want a room flip. This venue was one of the only venues with this option and the buildings are right next to each other! Even though it was cold and snowy, our guests raved about being about to explore the grounds and all the interesting buildings! The staff at the Little Log House were so easy to work with and very accommodating! It honestly felt like they would do anything to make your day perfect- you asked and they made it happen! This was my dream venue and they helped me have my dream wedding!
