From the gazebo with a lake background for the ceremony, to the Fest Haus for the reception, and everything in between. Our guests were blown away by the beauty and scale of the property. It was also convenient to stay the weekend to set up at a leisurely pace, and not have to rush anywhere after the event.

We loved that we got to have the venue for the whole weekend which allowed us to have our rehearsal dinner, wedding, and reception there as well as having our wedding parties stay the night which made the whole weekend more relaxing. Overall, we had a great experience and were happy they were there to help everything run smoothly.

Their onsite lodging was a life saver to allow us the opportunity to relax and not worry about driving home or to somewhere else to stay. Their venue is also simply beautiful, multiple amazing locations for our photos, back up plans for if the weather had turned bad before our ceremony. They had a massive closet full of decorations to help with anything we were missing. I highly recommend Little Piney and their amazing service!

ull outdoor ceremony and reception in May 2023. They helped blow leaves and twigs away the morning of the wedding since it rained the night before. The bridal lodge was cozy and had a great view of the gazebo where our ceremony was held. The groom's cabin was sort of hidden away behind the trees which was perfect to retreat to on the wedding night while our families stayed in the lodge. Having everything in one place (rehearsal location, getting ready location, ceremony, reception, and place to sleep) was a game changer. I noticed things went so smoothly with cutting out that travel time. We were ahead of schedule on our day because of this! With this venue away from busy roads and passing cars, it seemed like our own little world and the guests loved that aspect of that as well. Would recommend this venue to anyone!

ir couples ensured that we had an incredible weekend. Little Piney is beautiful and offers so much beyond just a location to get married. Being able to stay on the property allowed us to get settled before the big day, and allowed us to relax about details like "Will I forget to bring something with me to the venue?"...because we could just run back to our lodges and get it! If you have any hesitation about picking Little Piney, know that doing so will ensure a truly wonderful experience.

y are the nicest people. All their staff were super helpful too. The venue is gorgeous. Just got our pictures back: a lot of people asked if our photographer photoshopped the skyline---THEY DID NOT! It is naturally that beautiful of a spot in the Hermann countryside. Having everything in one spot helped make our wedding day logistics efficient and uncomplicated. We appreciated the golf carts that transported our elderly relatives and us to and from various spots on the property. We look forward to renting a cabin there on our one year anniversary!

While we were there for our final walk through, my fiance asked them if they knew any places that would be playing the football games Sunday morning (our wedding started at 4) and both John and Julie pulled out their phones and started calling places to find out. g with Julie and John. They're wonderfully accommodating, responsive, and so caring. The venue has spaces for the ceremony, cocktail hour, indoor reception, and outdoor reception without guests having to travel. They also have "magic closet" with a ton of decor options; we did all of our centerpieces from there and saved a lot of money on florals while still looking gorgeous and professional. Best of all, you get the venue from Friday night through Sunday morning, and there are two separate cabins with three bedrooms each for the bridal party. They even include bonfires on Friday and Saturday nights! They are also extremely attentive; it began to threaten rain about 30 minutes into my reception, and they automatically moved everything under the pavilion and setup the DJ underneath a tent without our having to ask. I could not have asked for a better wedding experience, and recommend them enthusiastically!

o entertain and enjoy your family and friends . Little Piney Lodge is an exceptional place . It is beautiful no matter the time of year ( because of Covid we had almost two years of planning time ) so we visited several times to really think through our daughter’s day . John and Julie are a true team , well coordinated, experienced and willing to guide you with options . With their help and experience we were able to have the elegantly rustic wedding that fit our daughter and son in law . We enjoyed them so much , they responded promptly to questions, reviewed needs and even made sure we had answers to questions we didn’t know to ask . The only detail we missed was we didn’t get the cases of bottled water out of the car . I didn’t notice during our cocktail /lawn game time that water was missing, but they did . John and Julie had water stations in several areas up and running without ever being noticed . They are hands on and efficient all while making you feel like your wedding is their privilege and the goal is to execute it without a hitch. Couldn’t have chosen any better !

Their goal is to truly make sure you are relaxed as a couple on wedding weekend and they don’t want you to worry or be stressed about anything! We loved being able to have the entire weekend there. We did our rehearsal and dinner there Friday night and was able to stay all the way until Sunday morning. The house was so clean and the property is so well maintained. We received so many compliments on this venue! John and Julie were around the entire weekend and came to check on us multiple times and was just a quick text or call away when they weren’t around. We loved every moment of our wedding weekend and a huge part of that was because of Little Piney and John and Julie. I seriously can’t recommend enough!!

Cannot recommend this venue enough, having access to 3 locations for ceremony, dinner, reception along with the bridal and grooms house! We were able to keep our dogs with us which was VERY important and Little Piney went above and beyond on the day of. They were accessible for our other vendors and just cannot recommend them enough!

er been to such a unique venue and complimented us on how well-planned our day was. John and Julie are a dream. They helped everything run so smoothly from making sure a poker surprise for the groomsmen was set up, to loaning us some butter, driving us around the property on golf-carts, locating my extra pair of shoes, and bringing us appetizers from the cocktail hour when we were hungry after all the pictures. The best part was that we were able to rent the venue for Friday-Sunday and the wedding party could stay on-site with us, making it an enjoyable weekend with friends and family instead of simply being a one-day event. They really emphasize how low-stress they want everything to be. We ended up booking them again after our 2021 wedding date was postponed due to the pandemic because we couldn't let go of such a beautiful venue. They have 3 locations for your wedding (a gazebo, a pavilion, and a barn), and are very accommodating in case the weather changes. They allow you to bring in your own caterer/bartender and bring your own alcohol, which helped us keep those costs down. They are the perfect venue for a diy couple. Book them now, you won't regret it.

We also loved being able to book one of our favorite STL food trucks for dinner because you’re not stuck with one caterer at LP! The pricing is up front and honest. You get what you pay for and all the space you could need for the party of your dreams. It’s worth mentioning, we booked the date prior to COVID and were able to observe how kind and accommodating LP was to all of its couples during such an uncertain time. It was great knowing our venue is managed by people with hearts and not corporate policies trying to get as much money as possible. Go to an LP open house and you won’t be disappointed!

the perfect wedding: I am a bride in search of an affordable venue that will be a beautiful backdrop for an Oct 31st evening wedding and reception. Let me set the mood for you below so you get an idea of what we are thinking/hoping for. This will be a classy but “Gothic” style and a formal but untraditional event. I would love to find a venue who are able to accommodate us. The Ceremony: Wearing my handmade deep black satin ball gown dress I am hoping for a torchlit/candlelit isle to walk down outdoors (but realize that indoors might need to be an option in case of bad weather) at dusk under the open sky. My bridesmaids will proceed me in their deep red flowing chiffon gowns holding glowing lanterns in lieu of flowers. At the end of the “isle” would be a lovely decorated archway or gazebo which will frame our vows to each other. Tiny votive lights will twinkle in glass holders hanging from the surrounding trees to add a touch of light for the guests. (Decor can be brought my me if unavailable at the venue) The Reception: Preferably under a covered pavilion outside (but again, weather permitting) black gothic candlesticks adorn the head table with dark red roses and black crystal beading. Tables are lit with candelabra centerpieces and/or stunning black chandeliers hang from the celling offering a warm glow to the dark night. Being served is an array of heavy hors d'oeuvres and drinks from an open bar. A red velvet cake with jet black icing is waiting for the bride and groom on a black draped cake table. This bride and groom would prefer no dance floor because neither care to dance. The ability to play background music as they mingle with guests is all that is needed. Now that this is all floating around in your head…..please let me know if this vision of my dream wedding is a possibility at your venue. - Stacy Lynn Earll And wow did they ever deliver. John and Julie gave us the wedding we not only dreamed of, but also gave us so much more we didn't know we wanted or needed! From the beautiful surroundings including a lakeside gazebo where we were married, the two lovely cabins where the groomsmen and Bridesmaids stayed the night before the wedding and where we stayed on the night of the wedding, to the gorgeous open beamed hall with thousands of tiny lights which glittered on the ceiling. Even our dogs were part of the celebration and did not want to leave on Sunday when we checked out. Whatever you can dream, John and Julie will turn that dream into a reality. These amazing people went above and beyond for us, our bridal party, and our guests. We also hired a few of their preferred vendors who were also incredible and made our day unforgettable. Every detail was taken care of for us and the day of the wedding ran so smoothly with John and Julie facilitating the entire thing. I cannot express how grateful I am to these wonderful people. Little Piney Lodge will hold a place in my heart for all time.

diately fell in love, sent an email, and scheduled a tour for that week. When we took our tour, I was in tears because it was everything I didn’t know I wanted. We signed on the dotted line…before we were even engaged! About a month after we booked LP, we went back for another tour with some of our family and I was surprised when my then boyfriend got down on one knee and asked me to marry him in the very place we were going to have our wedding. (We do things a little differently) My mind was blown and I had no idea how he had set this up…low and behold, John and Julie worked their magic and that was just the start of our amazing experience. John and Julie are not just the owners of this gorgeous venue, they are wedding coordinators, planners, decorators, and friends. For over a year I emailed and called them at all hours and they never once complained, told me to keep the questions coming, and gave the absolute best advice. We had LP from Friday morning until Sunday morning. When we arrived Friday morning, John was out doing things to prepare for our big day and Julie was right there asking me what I needed and helping me with everything I could possibly ask for. I was in constant contact with them all weekend and they gave us their undivided attention. While we were at our rehearsal dinner, they started a fire for the guys and made sure everything we had set-up looked perfect. On the day of, Julie checked in with us regularly, drove us around for pictures, and gave me her coat and gloves when she saw I was cold. After the wedding, we were bombarded with compliments on the wedding and how beautiful LP was. Little Piney Lodge is a gorgeous venue, has everything you are looking for and more, and an amazing family to come with it. If you’re thinking about Little Piney, don’t hesitate because you’ll miss out on having one of the most important days of your life made perfect by John and Julie.

They have a “magic closet” with decor left over from previous weddings that made decor transport easier.
