Having an extra year in quarantine to plan my wedding gave me more time to organize and refine my One Perfect Day™. However, I learned that if you want to actually ENJOY your wedding day, you need to let someone else call the shots. Since I have not been able to find a way to clone myself (yet), enter Russell Pinto Jr. of Little Red Bean Productions. Trying to plan (and re-plan after being postponed) during a pandemic was already stressful enough, but after my first meeting with Russ, I knew he was the proverbial “One” to be that extension of myself on the big day and I could finally put my mind at ease. I knew my wedding would non-traditional and have fewer moving parts than most (no on site ceremony, no bridal party to corral), but he definitely caught a few things I would never have thought of (all those little obscure details they leave out of the Wedding Pinterest boards) and that’s exactly the kind of second review I needed to make sure my event would be a great success. I compared all my color-coded spreadsheets to his color-coded spreadsheets and we always came out on the same page. In the month and a half leading up to my wedding, he was the touchpoint with the venue and all my vendors, making sure they had correct certificates of insurance and knew when to arrive on site and where to go. I was confident that he knew and understood my vision every step of the way (as beautifully showcased when the reception hall was finally revealed to us before guests arrived), so there was never any worry that things required more follow up or intervention on my part. It allowed for the time leading up to the wedding and the day-of to be as stress-free as possible (especially since I was planning and coordinating everything from 2,500 miles away). My venue, the Bronx Zoo, required a day-of-coordinator be hired in order to facilitate “all the things”. At the top of their preferred vendor list is Little Red Bean Productions and that’s with good reason. No one knows the Zoo better than Russ. His knowledge of the Zoo, its setup & the staff are unmatched. This allowed for the day to truly be seamless - from load in and set up to break down and haul out. I never wanted or worried for a thing. Bride needs champagne? Russ’ got it. DJ’s volume too loud? Russ was on the case. Unexpected rain cloud? Russ has an app for that. My dad accidentally left with the items for our end of the night send off? Russ got them back. If there were any other major problems that would’ve interrupted the day, they were unbeknownst to me. There are probably a million other things I’m leaving out and I’m not even sure I have all the words to express my joy, happiness & gratitude. Russ and his assistant managed to make all of my neurotic planning worth it and all my visions a reality - they helped give me the wedding of my dreams and for that, I am forever thankful.

the venue better than Russ, he does SO many weddings there and knows the people and place like the back of his hand. Whenever I had a question or concern Russ either knew the answer or knew who to talk to to get the answer. On the day of our wedding, you could tell by the interactions of Russ with the Zoo staff that they worked very well together. Apart from the Zoo and in general, he was an excellent planner. He was very reliable and available - always answered my e-mails and texts and made me feel comfortable. I am pretty indecisive, and he was super helpful in decision making - ranging from which vendors to use to how to make a floor plan and decorate to a night before panic text about which nail color to pick. He has an amazing eye and was instrumental in helping us with design. He understood what we wanted and was always honest with feedback whether disagreeing with something I thought would look good or pushing something that I wasn’t so sure of, and I can say on the day of he was always right! He recommended many of our vendors, all of whom we absolutely loved. He was a calming presence on the wedding day and made sure everything ran smoothly. We are so happy to have worked with Russ and recommend him fully!

RB Poductions did that, and then some! We signed him 4 months before the wedding, and though we had lots of ideas, they needed organizing. We rightfully trusted Russell to make our dream day come together. The very first thing Russell did was to have us tell him exactly what we envisioned, and then told us how he could make it happen... The Hubs and I wanted something very elegant and black-tie but an epic PARTY, none-the-less. Not only did Russell understand our vision, but he also contributed his own ideas to bring our event to the next level. The day of, Russell, himself, even wrote our buffet menu on large mirrors for the display and it looked gorgeous. Russell is creative, organized, honest, and definitely does his research to help couples get the best their budget can afford. My guests are still raving about how gorgeous the event was AND how much fun they had. And of course, we are still thinking about how fabulously the day turned out, and we are thrilled. On the day of my wedding, when I realized I forgot to get loose flowers for the bridesmaids hair he quickly contacted the florist to bring us some extra flowers. At the reception hall, the place cards couldn't be found. He told me not to worry, used the master list and had all the place cards written out in time for the guest arrivals. I also had very specific ideas of what I wanted the candy bar at the wedding to look like. I sent Russell pictures a few weeks prior and he executed my vision perfectly. I was truly able to relax and enjoy my wedding day without having to worry about anything going wrong. Russell is a very friendly, calming force and I would recommend his services at little red bean productions to anyone looking to hand over the reigns on their wedding day and just relax and enjoy.

of", we did not have a ceremony but did have a reception. We had about 120 guests and a relatively simple event - no flowers, simple small cakes, no speeches. Even a not-so-elaborate reception requires a lot of planning. In the weeks leading up to the event, Russ helped us with the seating arrangement, centerpiece ideas (we ended up using lanterns), and other not so fun logistical issues. On the day of, Russ arrived early and helped with set up. He kept us on schedule during the reception and took care of things so we can focus on guests. He also packaged everything towards the end of the reception so that we could leave at a reasonable hour. We were exhausted and still needed to attend an after party. Without Russ, the reception would have been a lot more work and who knows how it would have turned out. It definitely would have been more stressful. It also helps that Russ is a great guy and it's a real treat to work with him.

all my day was amazing, but not everything went as smooth as I wished. It didn't help that I hated my DJ and the last minute arranging. Overall Russ was good.

the wedding, our anxiety about planning everything went from 100 to 0. He had a calming influence that was totally priceless. We were able to focus on fun details and 'extras' while he coordinated all the heavy lifting. He was also a great sounding board during our planning sessions. 2.) He knew the ins and outs of our venue. He told us all the tips and tricks we needed to get the most out of our venue (Bronx Zoo). He was able to answer all our questions, and I think that the venue staff was very comfortable working with him directly. They took care of a ton of things without having to ask us about it. He was familiar with the timing/schedule that the venue requires and that enabled him to be 3 steps ahead. 3.) He was ready to help with the million 'non-planning' wedding details. What I mean is that on top of his job (wedding coordinator/vendor coordinator), he was always ready to help with the small things: tying bow-ties; attaching boutonnieres; talking with relatives; etc. All with a smile and a willingness to jump in and be a pro. Heartily recommended, generally, and 100% necessary if you're getting married at the zoo!

During the wedding he made sure everything went smoothly and when we ran into a transportation issue, he scrambled and got a fleet of taxicabs to pick up our guests. When the shit hits the fan on your wedding, you want someone who can fix a problem, fast--Russ was that guy. We felt like he was a great to work with and a great value. Highly recommended.

o well which made our lives very easy. We were also worried about drunk guests given too many toasts, and he is authoritative enough in a kind and polite way that put all of those worries at ease. Russel was very positive and calm at our meetings before the wedding, and he was very committed and organized during the wedding that he made the whole event feel very easy and comfortable to us. We were his number one priority which is to be honest what we needed on that day and he made it happen. At the end all we had to do was relax, enjoy our special day and have the best time of our lives. Our parents were very impressed by him and still rave about him months later.
