Nicole & Maddy are a dream team. Nicole was our day of coordinator for our wedding and an absolute gem to work with - she handled everything so well and professionally, we couldn't have asked for a better day of coordinator for our Hindu wedding weekend.
Maddy and Nicole were really skilled and constructive with their questions on how to execute our big day, helping us fill in important gaps ahead of the wedding weekend. On the day of, Nicole seemed to be everywhere at the right time when she was needed. We feel lucky to have found Nicole as our day of coordinator, and we know that our joyful wedding day was a success because of Nicole and Maddy.
We worked with Maddy to plan both our 2020 wedding that we ended up having to cancel and our 2022 wedding (that actually happened!). She was flexible, available, and supportive throughout the entire process; even while we all planned the event fully remotely.
We are not the type of couple who had dreams about exactly what our wedding would look like (which is why we needed a planner!), but thanks to Maddy, we were able to host easily one of the most fun, authentic, gorgeous, coordinated, intimate (despite the guest count) series of events we've ever attended. And yes, we are super biased, but these are compliments we've received over and over again since the wedding from both friends, relatives, and vendors :)
We found Maddy when looking for a planner who would understand the nuances (and occasional complexities) of a mixed race/ethnicity wedding. But after we met her for the first time, we realized that she would provide FAR more than that. In the first hour we spent with her, she helped us realize that we actually wanted to have a small/casual wedding that we would plan ourselves, and then rely on her services to plan a multi-day, Indian/American/PNW bash several months later. It's rare to find a planner who encourages you to find and then follow your instincts, even if it means not providing the services originally requested. Maddy cheered us on through our scrappy homegrown ceremony and then pulled together a 2-day, 200+ person celebration in *less than 6 months* that was beyond our wildest dreams. She gave us exactly the amount of decision making power that we wanted and took care of EVERYthing else. We cared about music, food, and general aesthetic/vibe. She helped scour through tons of options to present us with the cream of the crop for us to select from. We didn't want to worry about details like flowers, linens, tables, etc--she handled those items with better taste than the two of us have combined. She kept us on track, within budget, and was wholly unflappable as we navigated stressed out parents, last minute guest list changes, and the crazy idea to have a rooftop cocktail hour in November in Seattle.
She spent as much time as she needed to understand us as a couple--both in terms of our personalities and our aesthetics in order to put together an event that was, in every sense, "us," without us having to do most of the heavy lifting.
We could not have asked for two more stunning, thoughtfully planned and carefully assembled days. We spent our wedding reception weekend wholly relaxed, at ease, and fully able to engage with our guests and each other because we knew that Maddy was on top of all of the logistics--that was perhaps the greatest gift of all.
We cannot recommend Maddy and her services highly enough. We would be happy to provide more insight or photos of our events upon request.
What can we say, except the fact that Maddy and her team pulled off the absolute perfect wedding for us. Everything was predictable and planned to a tee thanks to Maddy's responsiveness and hard work. Excluding the rush of getting our families out the door in time to our incredible venue outside of Seattle, we can't recall being overwhelmed or stressed. And yes, our venue was a couple hours outside of Seattle at Semiahmoo Resort, and Maddy was more than willing to go there on her own, Facetime with us while she was there as she scoped out the venue, and was best friends with the staff at Semiahmoo through it all. We really appreciated the positive and warm relationships Maddy forged with all the vendors, and she owned those relationships for the most part, again, never leaving us feeling overwhelmed.
Maddy worked with us for about a year to understand and execute our vision. I wish we could say that we were a couple that knew exactly what we wanted for our wedding, but we had no idea!! It took us a while to figure it out, and Maddy’s patience and suggestions were really helpful in getting this all to take shape. Maddy found us a dream team of vendors—we didn’t truly realize how important this was until we saw all of them working together in action on your special day. They all did an excellent job and it was clear they all liked working together.
Maddy and her team worked tirelessly to create the exact decor and ambiance we were looking for, and transformed a business conference hall into a dreamy Sangeet escape! She even organized events for her clients- we went to a yoga and health session about a month before our wedding where we could unwind, take a yoga class, eat delicious health foods, and get massage.
Above all though, we clicked with Maddy, enjoyed spending time with her through all this, and are friends even after the wedding!

So Thankful We Found Maddy!
Before finding Maddy, we were struggling to find a venue for our wedding that fit our budget and vision. We were so frustrated but after one phone call with Maddy, I felt like she truly understood what we were looking for. She found us the perfect location after one phone call! She is so sweet and detail oriented, working with her is so easy. She was able to help us create the perfect day for us and fully committed to our vision from day one! Being from out of town, it was so helpful to have her recommend vendors to us that she knew and trusted since we couldn't be there to meet everyone in person. On the wedding day, I was so thankful to have her and her assistant Nicole. They kept everything running so smoothly, my husband and I and our families didn't have to worry about a thing. Everything ran on time and seamlessly- it was definitely the best wedding I've been to, if I do say so myself! It wouldn't have been possible without Little Wedding Blush!
Maddy is not only incredibly detail-oriented but also took the time to understand the larger vision we had in mind. We love that she specializes in South Asian weddings and took the time to try and understand the nuances within our specific culture. She accommodated our requests and was kind enough to coordinate with our parents, friends, and other guests. As cliche as it sounds, our wedding was a fairytale... and we have Maddy and her team to thank for that. After this experience we know she is more than just our wedding planner, she is our friend for life.
Maddy did amazing job planning our wedding. She's a pleasure to have around during our engagement and on our wedding day and was super patient with our (probably too) carefree approach to wedding planning. She was extremely responsible and organized, and foresaw lots of details that we would have missed without her. The day of, she made sure everything went as planned and we were left to just soak in our big day, stress-free.
Maddy did an incredible job planning our wedding. We had a fusion wedding (3 cultures, 4 religions, 2 days) the required some out of the box thinking and she really wanted to make sure that our day was customized to us. We talked to a number of wedding planners before choosing Maddy and when we talked with other planners, they were interested in putting us into a particular box so that they could replicate our wedding based on ones that they had done in the past. When we talked with Maddy though, she was really interested in creating a wedding that was customized to the needs and desires of our individual families and we ended up with a totally unique day that was authentic to us.
Because Maddy does create pretty customized experiences for the couples that she works with, she only plans a limited number of weddings in a year. We feel pretty lucky that she decided to work with us :)
We were also planning our wedding from a distance and my husband and I have fairly demanding professional schedules. Maddy made sure that we were on track with ordering everything on time and that we stayed on budget. Also, she is a nice/wonderful person.
Finally, a number of our friends pointed out Maddy and her staff as just being incredible the day of the wedding. When you're getting married, its nice to have someone else who knows where everything is so that you can really bask in the joy of the day.
Thank you Maddy for creating such a special day for us, our family, and our friends. We can't thank you enough.
Maddy is an amazing wedding planner and we wholeheartedly recommend her! Without her help, our two day wedding in Tacoma would not have been possible.
My wife and I had a fairly complicated wedding setup and Maddy handled it all with beautifully. From the beginning we made her job hard because we live in New England and were trying to plan a wedding in Tacoma. On top of that we had to navigate a very complicated multicultural wedding (Japanese + Indian + American) and so you can see why we were worried!
Maddy handled everything we threw at her with grace and (more importantly) KEPT US ON BUDGET! She was great at communicating with the different vendors we used and helped us negotiate all the contracts seamlessly. Extremely well organized!
As an added bonus, she is a sweetheart and just a pleasure to talk to. There aren't enough stars to give her for this review.
I am so grateful we had Little Wedding Blush to help us plan our amazing day. Maddy, our planner and the owner, was very patient and understanding. We had a long engagement, a little over two years, but she kept everything collected for us which made the engagement stress-free. I cannot say enough about how amazing it was to have this service, and how amazing Maddy was at providing it! The day of our wedding of course went by in a blur but as the bride, I did not have to worry about a single thing that day - other than loving the moment and having the best time.
Maddy helped make our Indo-American fusion wedding dreams come true! She was a pleasure to work with from start to finish. Initially my husband and I were planning on doing everything by ourselves and once we realized how overwhelming it can all get we did some hunting and were very fortunate to have found Maddy!
Her experience helped guide our decisions especially when it came to crunch time and both of us really got to sit back and relax while Maddy was grinding out all the nitty gritty details we hadn’t even thought of. Most of all I can’t thank Maddy and her team enough on the day of the actual event. In an event that’s so memorable it’s very easy to lose track of time and schedule of events. Maddy made sure to keep us all on track in a very non-stressful way and it made the whole day come together beautifully. Maddy would pop-in to just say hello and make sure everything was going smoothly throughout the course of the day which really helped keep the “Bridezilla syndrome” away.
More than anything Maddy was integral in managing the crowds. In a time where everyone is excited to celebrate it’s easy to forget that there’s a certain order to things and Maddy ensured that the order was maintained She constantly also made sure the we were both well fed, hydrated, and properly inebriated! Overall, Maddy and her team helped put together an absolutely unforgettable day and really helped us execute the vision that we saw of our wedding!
We hired Maddy for our two day wedding in July 2017 and it was THE BEST decision we made for our wedding! Maddy was unbelievable for our wedding events on the days of and so amazing leading up to our events. She asked us all the right questions on our calls we had for the months prior to the wedding and helped us think of things we hadn't even thought of. She was very sweet, caring, and understanding of all of our family dynamics, our complicated wedding ceremonies and events, and everything else in between. She made these amazing wedding weekend guides for us, our families, and our vendors and it was very helpful for everyone to be on the same page and coordinated at all times. When it came to the actual wedding and events, everything went absolutely smoothly and we owe 10000% of it to Maddy! My family is so thankful for Maddy's help and attention to detail and they still talk about her months later and how lucky we were to have her. If you have any hesitation about hiring a wedding planner/coordinator, you absolutely DO need Maddy, trust me its the best investment for having a perfect wedding!
We are so happy we decided to have a wedding planner for day of services and partial planning. Maddy was great to work with and helped pull all the ideas together into a beautiful reception. I would recommend Little wedding blush to anyone getting married. Wedding planning is stressful for couples who work full time. I felt relieved on the day of to be sure all the details were taken care of while we were off doing pre-wedding prep and photos so we could enjoy as much of the reception as possible. Thank you Maddy for such a beautiful wedding.
Maddy was amazing to work with! She listened to everything that I wanted and seamlessly made it happen. She had great recommendations for questions that I had. On our wedding day she surprised us with up-lighting for our ceremony. I told her I really wanted it, but it was outside of our budget. What she did made the ceremony 10x better, great surprise. Maddy was extremely responsive. She even suggested better options for ideas that I had. Our wedding would not have been what it was without her!
Maddy was such a wonderful planner for our special day. She was very patient through the entire process and all my guests complimented on how wonderful they thought she was. My wedding was a dream come true thanks to Maddy. She truly is a wonderful person to work with through and through!
