Owner Olivia has achieved her Photography AAS Degree and an Entrepreneurship BS at Iowa State, to ensure you are in good hands. She is a super bubbly person who loves to chat and never wants a dull moment during your sessions. She wants to bring her high energy to your sessions to make you have more than just a photoshoot. Her goal is for you to leave your session feeling confident and energized.
Liv Frueh has three curated wedding packages for you to choose from. Each option includes eight hours of coverage with varying levels of assistance and needs. If your celebration is larger, this creative can bring along a second photographer and provide additional hours for an extra fee. Your precious images can be delivered in prints, digital files, and canvases.
My name is Olivia Frueh, my last name is pronounced ‘Free’. I hope you caught my little play on words, ‘Live Free’. I grew up on a family farm in St Charles, Iowa. My passion for photography began in high school! As of today I have Achieved my Photography AAS Degree and an Entrepreneurship BS at Iowa State. I am so glad you are here to be a part of it! Liv was the best photographer we could have chosen! The wedding day ran smoothly because of her. She knows how to stick to a schedule and problem solve when necessary! So so fun and easy to hang out with during sessions. My husband and I aren’t the most comfortable in front of the camera but somehow she makes us look great! We will absolutely be using Liv in the future for any family sessions.

If we could rate Liv 100/5 we would!! We were so happy with the photos Liv took for our engagement shoot & on our wedding day. Neither ourselves or many of those in our wedding are very comfortable in front of the camera, but Liv's outgoing and bubbly personality, professionalism, and pure skill calmed everyone & made the photos come out STUNNING! We appreciate how Liv was able to navigate some of the stressful moments on our day and swiftly pivot when the weather/lighting wasn't coordinating. In a friendly manner, she was effectively able to round up guests, family, and the bridal party for photos to keep our timeline running smoothly. Prior to the wedding, Liv was very communicative with us and worked with us to understand timelines, vendors, family dynamics and more! She went above and beyond to answer all of our questions and make us feel comforted. All of our family and guests were very impressed with her work. I loved her style of photos they were very bright, natural, and clean. We will simply be insisting all of our friends to use her as their photographer in the future!

Liv was phenomenal! She was so fun to work with and the pictures she took were exceptional! Taking wedding pictures can get long and stressful but Liv made it so easy and fun! She took the time to meet with my daughter to understand what was important to her, kept everything light hearted the day of the wedding, paid close attention to time, and provided a sneak peek of pictures so quickly! Can’t say enough about Liv and the quality of work she does! Highly recommend!!!

Liv is absolutely incredible at her job. She was able to make 2 awkward, introverted, anti-PDA people SO COMFORTABLE immediately. She has so much energy and passion. The detail spreads she does are so well thought out and unique and such a wonderful way to compile all of the little things that I’m sure often get overlooked by most photographers. I would absolutely recommend her to anyone.

We absolutely loved working with Liv. She made our wedding day feel even more special and with her team created an unbelievably welcoming environment, not just for us as the couple, but for everyone who attended. We had many compliments throughout the day, but a recurring compliment was how friendly, professional, and engaged Liv was. And that’s not even the end product! We couldn’t have been more happy with the photos we received. Her style is consistent, and what she sent was even better than what we expected. We both teared up while watching the slideshow through. Liv is a very talented photographer with an eye for authentic moments. This makes for photos that encapsulate a memory so you can relive it. I mean the ones you love so much you print them on a big custom piece and hang them in the center of your living room, kind of photos. She is also INCREDIBLY adept at working with people. She has a unique ability to diffuse situations, make people laugh, spot potential issues then circumvent them, and effortlessly convince kids to cooperate by making them think they're playing the most fantastic game. Flower girl photobombing your bride/groom only video and pictures? She'll convince them she needs to see how well they can twirl their dress over by those flowers conveniently out of the shot. Liv was the Swiss Army knife of the wedding. She can expertly bustle a dress, sew, and she comes with an emergency kit equipped for just about any situation that can arise.

Liv is amazing! There is no other way to put it. Having her as our wedding photographer might be the best decision we made for our wedding. On the way home from our wedding I told my husband that we would be going to where ever Liv is to get any photography we need for the rest of our lives. Not only did we love every second with her but our family and friends have continued to tell us how friendly, professional, and just great at her job she is. At the end of the day we also ended up with a gallery with amazing pictures. The only bad thing is that we can’t pick which ones are our favorites! Liv is extremely talented!! She’s so good at making sure our visions are brought to life through her photos, and even if we don’t know what we’re doing she does a fantastic job at managing and giving directions. On top of her amazing people skills, her work is stunning!! She also did amazing with our guests, everyone had amazing things to say about her. We 10/10 recommend her for anything you need.

I can’t even believe to explain how much my husband and I LOVE Liv!!!! She is so personable, so thoughtful, and HILARIOUS! You definitely feel at ease when she’s capturing your big day!!! Olivia is amazing! She has the most creative ideas that turn out to be spectacular photos. Each and every photo she took captured the emotions of the moment. She is also so friendly and welcoming that it felt like she was an old friend attending our wedding. I dislike taking pictures, but she’s so good with the camera and knows how to have you pose to make you look your best… and she keeps it fun!! I cannot say enough good things about Oliva and her photography ability. You will not regret letting her capture your special moments!

Liv is an absolutely amazing photographer! Her pictures are amazing as well as her professionalism! Everyone at my wedding was raving about how well she did managing large family pictures and helping everything go smoothly!
She helped my husband and I come out of our shells while taking pictures, which helped so much because we’re both awkward in front of the camera!
She worked so well with our DJ to make sure everything stayed on schedule, while both parties still were able to get done what they needed!
Special thanks to her for helping get my bustle figured out; we were at a total loss and she got it done in 2 minutes!
She’s so amazing at what she does and I would recommend her to anyone looking for a wedding photographer!

We LOVED having Liv as our wedding and engagement photographer! She has such a kind and upbeat personality that puts you at ease when being photographed in positions that might otherwise be uncomfortable like kissing. She did an excellent job at making sure we got all of the shots we wanted throughout the process. She was even thoughtful enough to consider grandparent mobility when determining the order of family photos. We received so many compliments from the wedding party, officiants, family, and friends about how well Liv did. She also captured our day so beautifully. We are beyond pleased with her work. Out of the many weddings I have been a part of Liv by far was the best! I highly recommend Liv for any of your photography needs.

We booked Liv for our engagement and wedding photos,and she went above-and-beyond to deliver excellent service and results. She provided guidance during photo sessions, made us feel comfortable, did a fantastic job coordinating with everyone on our wedding day, and made the whole process a breeze! Liv captured photos for our engagement session and wedding and I cannot recommend her enough! Right from the start she made my fiancé and I feel so comfortable around her. She brings such good energy that you can’t help but smile around her! During our engagement session she went the extra mile to make sure all the photos we wanted were taken plus had so many great ideas for poses and spots to take pictures. We received our sneak peeks and photos back right on time and love them all.
During the wedding Liv was a serious life saver. When she arrived to the venue I was a little overwhelmed that we were running behind and I wouldn’t have enough time to get all the photos I wanted. She jumped right into action and got to work. She kept everyone in line and on time. She was so fun and bubbly the entire time that everyone in my wedding party had a great time with photos and NOBODY complained that they were taking to long (that has never happened in any other weddings I’ve been in). The shots Liv took during our ceremony are so precious and something I will cherish forever. We also had Liv ride our party bus with us and she knew how to keep the party rolling! The photos we received back from this are one of a kind! Our reception photos such as speeches, first dances, cake cutting, and dancing are amazing as well. When I received my photos back from Liv I was stunned because I LOVED every photo she took. I am someone who often criticizes myself by how I look in photos and I couldn’t pick out any flaws in any of her photos. She had SO many photos returned back to us. My fiancé looked back at them for over an hour and we’re in shock by how good they all were. We immediately printed them all out to put in a wedding album. She had a great mix of color vs. black and white photos, as well as action shots vs. more posed photos. Liv also does a lot of GIF’s to incorporate with her photos that are so fun to look back at. Something unique that I have not seen many photographers offer. Throughout the entire process Liv was so fun and easy to work with, we seriously cannot recommend her enough!!

In addition to being exceptionally good at her job, she is organized, hard working, and professional. To beat it all, she is kind and helpful as well. Liv captured our wedding a couple of years ago and has now also taken our newborn photos. We plan to use her for all of our future events! She has an amazing eye and can spot some of the smallest details! I had some inspiration for both events and she made sure to capture those photos and then some! She is very talented, professional, and makes taking pictures fun! I highly recommend her for any of your special events or moments.
