She is just one of those people who makes you feel warm and cozy. We had spoken with other photographers who felt much more like a sales pitch, and honestly, the pricing reflected that. We ultimately chose Liv because we wanted someone we felt a genuine connection with. Photography is such an intimate part of your wedding day, and we knew we wanted someone we would actually want beside us through all of it. The fact that she also happens to do incredible work was the very happy bonus. We scheduled an “engagement shoot” mostly because we wanted the bonus babies to get comfortable in front of her camera, and even that completely exceeded our expectations. Liv made everyone feel so natural and comfortable, and it gave us even more confidence that we had made the right choice. Then came our wedding morning, when I woke up with a beautiful hemorrhage in my eye. Of course. On my wedding day. I was struggling to feel pretty and was having a hard time believing my luck, and then Liv walked in. Somehow, just seeing her immediately made me feel at peace. I knew I was in the best hands. Liv’s wife, Vic, is beginning her journey in videography, and we were lucky enough to include her in our package. And honestly, even without having seen the finished video yet, I already know how much it means to us. Every amazing moment my husband and I shared that day, these two incredible people were standing on the other side of it. There was something so reassuring about looking across the room and seeing their faces there. We received a lot of sneak peeks just three days later, as we were landing for our honeymoon, and I was completely blown away. Even in the moments when we weren’t seeing Liv and Vic, they were behind the scenes quietly capturing all of the things we couldn’t possibly see ourselves. That is exactly what you want your photography and videography team to be doing—making sure that while you can’t possibly be at every table, talking to every guest, or witnessing every little moment, someone you trust is there to capture it for you. In fact, my husband and I woke up the morning after our wedding and said to each other that we missed Liv and Vic. We actually spent parts of our honeymoon in the middle of special little moments saying, “I wish Liv and Vic were here!” and jokingly calling their names as if we could somehow summon them. Every member of our family had the same reaction. They couldn’t stop talking about how amazing this duo was and how comfortable they felt in their hands. truly can’t say enough about how special our wedding day was, how much bliss we still feel weeks later, and how beautifully the photos we’ve seen so far have captured all of it. They didn’t just capture what our wedding looked like—they captured what it felt like. I would recommend Liv and Vic for absolutely any occasion. Family photos, senior pictures, Christmas card shoots…they will absolutely be hearing from us. I will find any excuse I can to work with these two gems again. We didn’t just find our wedding photographers and videographers. We found people we genuinely hope stay in our lives for a very long time.
