Best decision and best use of our wedding budget!
If you are on the fence about hiring a live painter for your wedding, just do it. Working with Janet was hands-down one of the co...
olest aspects of our entire wedding, and months later, our guests are still talking about how incredible it was to watch her work during the reception.
Going into it, we were honestly overwhelmed trying to figure out exactly what scene or moment we wanted her to paint. Janet completely took that weight off our shoulders. We had a meeting a few days before the wedding where she calmly walked us through everything, listened to what mattered to us, and was incredibly stress-relieving during a crazy week. She is extremely friendly, professional, and brings such a grounded, positive energy to the day.
We just got the final painting back and we are completely speechless. It is an heirloom-quality, one-of-a-kind piece that we will treasure forever. Janet is a phenomenal artist and an absolute joy to work with. Highest possible recommendation!

c. She was so thorough, and we trusted her to capture a "joyful" moment.
We asked Janet to paint our ceremony arch and recessional, and she absolutely brought it to life. On the day of the wedding, Janet arrived early to set up and get ready. As you can hopefully see, what she captured sincerely makes my soul leap with joy. She somehow captured who my husband and I truly are.
Hiring Janet was one of the best things we did for our wedding! We are so lucky to have this painting to pass down one day to our children. We are so grateful—she is one of the most talented artists!!

warmest energy - you can tell she really cares about what she does and being a part of your special day. I really appreciated how well she planned ahead and thought through all the details to make sure the painting came out even more amazing than we could have imagined.
Janet is by far one of the most talented people we've ever gotten the opportunity to work with. The best part is that she is there throughout your entire event working on the painting so it's almost like an immersive experience for your guests to watch it come together throughout the night! When the final product was revealed to us after our reception, we couldn’t believe our eyes. She totally NAILED our vision and captured my husband and I, as well as our venue, perfectly, down to every last detail. If you’re looking for a live painter to have at your event, Live Event Painting by Janet Howard-Fatta is the only way to go!

at your wedding I highly suggest Janet! She is beyond talented, insightful, & helpful when it comes to bringing your vision to life. We were able to include my in laws who unfortunately have passed along with our fur baby who passed as well, something no one else can truly do seamlessly. This painting is an item from our wedding that we will truly treasure forever. We cannot wait to see it in person!

communication to have an understanding of exactly what you’re looking for from her artwork. She gives you options of canvas sizing, what scene you’d love for her to paint and any important people she must include. She was able to paint my father into the picture who passed away a year before my wedding, which was so special and meaningful to me. We highly recommend using Janet for your wedding day. Our picture is hanging in our living room and is such a special reminder of that day. Thank you Janet!!

or our painting. She worked seamlessly throughout the entire night, and even took our painting home at the end of the night to perfect it. Our guests were mesmerized by her work, as were we. It was so fun to walk by Janet as she was working and see the moment of our first dance coming to life in her work. Her attention to detail is amazing — you can actually see our facial features in the painting. We are huge Disney fans, and she even put a few hidden mickeys in our painting. I would highly recommend Janet to anyone who is considering a live wedding painter. We can’t say enough good things about her and her work, and can’t wait to hang our painting in our home.

re our wedding we filled out a survey and spoke to her on the phone about our vision for our painting. She delivered our vision and more! Our painting is now a focal point in our home. Our painting was of our first dance and it perfectly captures the love and joy in the room. Our guests also loved watching Janet paint throughout our reception. Could not recommend Janet enough!!

tfit she was going to wear. I love logistics so this was super helpful. Our guests raved about how she was so engaging and entertaining to watch. Moving on to the painting itself… WOW! She captured the moment beautifully to a T!! She does an impressionist style but if you tell her you want certain people detailed, she does it, and even still everyone else is recognizable. Before she shipped the final version she sent an HD photo of the painting and we had 2 small edit requests and she was super accommodative. Then, the painting arrived within 3 days. I am blown away by the quality of work and her high level of attention to detail. Ever since I was younger I always knew I wanted a live painter; photos are sentimental but there’s something about a painting that is just so special. We can’t thank or recommend Janet enough, THANK YOU SO MUCH!!!

wedding painting came out incredible. I have never seen something like this before. My husband and I are beyond pleased. It looks just like us! Our guests were so impressed with her work, watching her start to finish. If you’re on the fence about hiring a live painter, do it, it’s the BEST decision we made for our wedding. We will cherish this forever.
We loved working with Janet!! She is so talented and so kind! I had wanted a wedding painter for the longest time, and this was the first thing I looked into when we got engaged (e...
ven before looking for a venue!). When it was time to book her, I had a pretty specific vision of what I was looking for, and even after our initial phone call, I could tell that Janet had the same vision in her head. A few weeks before the wedding, she sent us a questionnaire to pinpoint every detail, from the pose we wanted to the feelings we wanted to capture. It was so exciting to see her on the wedding day, painting what we knew would be something amazing. Even though I wanted to wait until it was finished to see it, we received so many compliments all night about how fun it was to watch the progression of the painting. We were blown away to see the final product - it looked just like us (and our dog!), and it really captured the love and happiness we were feeling. This painting is just beautiful, and we will treasure it forever! I truly hope to see Janet again at another wedding so that I can see the process this time! I am so grateful that we found her, and I cannot recommend her enough!

tagram and website, we were so impressed with the quality of her work and knew her style was exactly what we were looking for. We were so thrilled when we reached out and she responded quickly to say she was available for our date. We had an intro phone call to meet each other and stayed in touch up until the wedding today to discuss the vision we had for our painting as well as confirm the service and get any questions answered. Janet was so genuine, warm, and enthusiastic throughout the whole process. We knew we were in good hands. She showed up on the day on time and ready to get started early. We chose the "end of the night" option and received an absolutely perfect, life-like portrait of us as a couple in the reception hall of our venue. Janet took the time to include all of the small details and touches about the scene (especially the detailing on the dress), which makes the painting extra special. We can't thank Janet enough for her professionalism, kindness, and effort. Strongly recommend this amazing artist and beautiful human being!

n love with her work! I had done a lot of research, and Janet's work was my favorite by far! This is why I hired her to paint for us even though she was not available on our wedding day. I am so grateful that she was willing to paint for us based on photos we sent her. I know this was no easy task, but Janet took on the challenge and exceeded our expectations!!! Janet is so kind and easy to work with. She listened carefully to our vision, and she brought it to life. We are absolutely obsessed with every aspect of our painting. Janet captured everything we wanted. She painted me and my husband, both sets of parents, and our siblings. We were so amazed at all the details in the painting, and we loved the colors!! Janet is so talented at what she does, and anyone considering hiring a painter should look no further. She puts her heart into her paintings, and she goes above and beyond to make her clients happy!!! Thank you Janet for capturing such a special moment that we shared on our special day❤️

xcept this!! Not only does it hit the "wow" factor for your guests, but it also is live entertainment during your event and it is a unique snapshot in time that you can keep forever. Every guest could not stop talking about the live painting, and couldn't believe how spot-on everyone was represented in the painting.
Janet herself is so delightful to work with and talk to - I feel like I could talk with her forever. She is so incredibly talented, and we feel so honored to have an original work by her. She truly captured the essence and love of our first dance, and even represented those we love the most celebrating us in the background. She even added in people who could not physically be there with us - grandparents who have since passed, and even our fur-baby Arnie! She even brought the painting back home to add some final touch-ups since we had a lot of people in our painting. It was an amazing experience, and I am already hoping to get another custom piece from her in the future. If you're on the fence, JUST HIRE HER ALREADY!

Highly recommend booking Janet for your wedding - she is amazing and the painting is one of my favorite memories that we have of our day. Thank you so much Janet!!

ist (having our parent dances in the background). It was a special gift for my husband representing the two people we hold close to our hearts, besides each other. She did a phenomenal job and I can’t wait to pick it up and hang it on our wall. Everyone, at the wedding and who weren’t commented on how beautiful and amazing the painting was. I definitely recommend Janet for your live painting needs! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Janet was absolutely amazing! Not only is she extremely talented, but she is also so kind and cares about her clients. I enjoy painting in my free time, so I had a very specific i...
mage and style in mind that I wanted. When I found Janet's profile, I knew her style was exactly what I was looking for - she captures beautiful details and has an impressionist style. Her price was also very reasonable compared to other painters I reached out to. When I spoke with Janet on the phone, I instantly clicked with her. She completely understood my vision, offered great suggestions, and captured it better than I could have imagined. I initially booked a live painter mainly because i wanted a keepsake after the wedding. Not only did she deliver on that front, but she left my guests in awe! They really loved watching her paint - I had guests tell me they never saw a live painter before and thought she was the coolest vendor. She was stationed next to the main bar, so it gave our guests who weren't dancing something to enjoy watching and talk about. At the end of the night, Janet brings the paintings home to touch them up, but she accomplished so much during the night that everyone was able to see the progress and her talent. My husband was on the fence about booking a live painter because of the cost, but he now agrees it was 100% worth it. We were so happy with the final product, her work during the night, and her continued attentiveness and assistance even after our wedding was over. I would recommend Janet to any couple!
I cannot put into words how amazing Janet is (even though I am going to try!). The best way to describe would be showing the stunningly beautiful painting she created of me and my ...
husband during our first dance, one of the happiest moments of our lives. I truly wish we could attach photos here! Not only is she insanely talented and professional, but she is a kind-hearted person that we are so grateful to have crossed paths with and she is super passionate about her work. She took the time to get to know my husband and I and she followed us on social media once we booked her, which definitely helped her get an idea on our energy and the vibe of our relationship. She surpassed our expectations with flying colors (LITERALLY!!! The ceiling in our painting in the Aurora Borealis because we mentioned to her that was a meaningful thing for us and we wanted her to feel free to add abstract elements!). Our beloved painting is hands down our favorite keepsake from our wedding. We had a ton of unique, fun things at our celebration, and she was the #1 most talked about by all the guests. People could not believe their eyes and were in total awe witnessing her artistic process, creating this magical work of art from start to finish during the night. Anyone who is looking to book a live painter, look no further because she is the absolute BEST on every level!!!! Thank you Janet for capturing this very special moment so magically and beautifully! WE LOVE YOU!!!! <333
We could not recommend Janet enough! She is so incredibly talented and our guests were so impressed (and entertained) by her painting during our wedding. We were blown away at how ...
much the painting resembled us and the amount of detail she put into it. Our guests kept coming up to us in awe and are still talking about it a couple days later. Janet was so nice, professional, and easy to work with leading up the wedding. She sent us a survey to see who and what we wanted featured in the painting and executed it to the tee! She showed up early to the venue to start painting the background and even took pictures of our dog to include her in the painting. We are so glad we decided to go with a live painter for our wedding, and especially Janet, as it will be something we can hang up and treasure forever.

ding he once attended so we looked her up and booked her immediately. She is so kind and easy to work with. We had great communication all throughout the wedding planning process. We explained to her what pose we imagined, and explained our favorite parts of our venue (chandeliers, fireplaces, etc) so she was sure to include them. All of our guests were raving about how amazing her work is and how cool it was to watch her work develop throughout the reception. We took our canvas home at the end of the night, so it is not “touched up” and it is still incredible. It is so wild that we are able to identify exactly who each person she painted is. She paid such close attention to detail, she even painted my brother wearing the Islanders jersey he had on during introductions. We didn’t make specific requests on who to include either! It is now a framed statement piece in the middle of our living room wall and I love looking at it every single day. Photography pictures are amazing, but there is just something so special and unique about having Janet capture your special day in her way. I have seen the work of many wedding live artists and can confidently say Janet is the best of them all. She is worth every penny and more!!!!

work and we knew we HAD to have her a part of our special day. We shared with her exactly what we wanted captured in our painting and she delivered beyond our expectations!! We opted to get our painting with additional details added but by the end of our wedding night everything already looked so perfect! It was so beautiful to see it come to life throughout the evening. And we loved our guests being able to be a witness to it all! Everyone enjoyed watching her paint and thought it was such a great & unique idea!! After receiving our painting to our home we are just amazed!! It is beyond anything we could ever expect and to hang this in our home truly makes us feel complete. Janet, brought that moment to life and seeing our bridal party, our parents in it makes it even more special. I shared with Janet if she could include my late father and our fur child Winnie and seeing it is so much better than I could imagine. Our painting is something we will truly cherish for the rest of our lives & something we are so proud to own! We want to just say thank you thank you!! to Janet for bringing our day to life, for being a part of our special day & for being such a beautiful soul. Your talent is beyond this world & we're so grateful for you. Please look no further & book Janet for your big day! You will not regret it!!

The picture came out beautiful and she walked me through every step of the way when I was not sure what scene I wanted the painting due to weather conditions. The painting really depicts me and my husband so well and she even was able to add our doggy Jasmine who could not attend the big day. We now have the painting in our living room and we get so many compliments. It is the best keepsake from our wedding. Janet, I could not thank you enough!
