A self-confessed people person, Janet loves to interact with guests as they watch her work. As your celebrations progress, the composition will transform and evolve to reflect the nuances unique to your wedding event. Each commissioned piece can include up to 14 identifiable guests as well as the option for suggested background figures. Janet can also curate a custom painting based on your chosen wedding photograph or video. Every painting is created and delivered on a pre-stretched canvas layered with a removable varnish to protect it for years to come. With styles and sizes to fit your budget and four to eight hours of touch-ups included, you can be sure your wedding day remains a valuable work of art you will cherish forever.

Going into it, we were honestly overwhelmed trying to figure out exactly what scene or moment we wanted her to paint. Janet completely took that weight off our shoulders. We had a meeting a few days before the wedding where she calmly walked us through everything, listened to what mattered to us, and was incredibly stress-relieving during a crazy week. Her price was also very reasonable compared to other painters I reached out to. When I spoke with Janet on the phone, I instantly clicked with her. We explained to her what pose we imagined, and explained our favorite parts of our venue (chandeliers, fireplaces, etc) so she was sure to include them. All of our guests were raving about how amazing her work is and how cool it was to watch her work develop throughout the reception. We took our canvas home at the end of the night, so it is not “touched up” and it is still incredible. It is so wild that we are able to identify exactly who each person she painted is. She paid such close attention to detail, she even painted my brother wearing the Islanders jersey he had on during introductions. We didn’t make specific requests on who to include either! It is now a framed statement piece in the middle of our living room wall and I love looking at it every single day. Photography pictures are amazing, but there is just something so special and unique about having Janet capture your special day in her way. The picture came out beautiful and she walked me through every step of the way when I was not sure what scene I wanted the painting due to weather conditions. We were able to do the painting from our ceremony and it came out beautiful. The painting really depicts me and my husband so well and she even was able to add our doggy Jasmine who could not attend the big day.
