Cause you really won’t have time to eat after you’re done with the ceremony and everything greeting your guests. All of the DJs, the helpers, the servers are amazing and I highly suggest going with their main Baker, the cocoa bean. He is just amazing.

Oak's management could care less that this occurred and conveniently are not returning promised phone calls. My daughter is getting married in 2024 and we will not be considering The Oaks as an option.

ncredible! He was so kind and helpful. The entire staff was so friendly and made our day the best and easiest. All the stress was lifted simply by how helpful they were. Not to mention they include so much into the venue cost to where we didn't need to find other vendors or decorations! Seriously the best venue i could've picked for our wedding. They Seriously relieved so much of my anxiety and it was so affordable compared to all the other places that did not include even half of what The Oaks did! You won't regret booking with them!💕

signed the contract on the spot. everyone said it was so fun and beautiful. the food and drinks were great. our DJ (in house) was terrific. Lauren, our day of coordinator, did a fantastic job and made sure everything ran smoothly. Missy and Hannah in the admin department were so attentive and always easy to contact.

Asia was incredible as our day-of coordinator and brought the perfect calming energy that I needed, she handled every special moment and kept track of time to make sure everything ran smoothly– she always came and found me while I was running around having a good time to remind me we needed to cut the cake, do the garter toss, get this picture done, etc. I am also so grateful to Mary. It looked like rain 30 minutes before the ceremony was meant to start so Mary prepared for the worst and set everything up inside before coming to discuss how I wanted to proceed. She encouraged me to do what I wanted more than anything and sat with me to watch the weather radar in suspense. She was so supportive for what looking back seemed like such a silly thing to get freaked out over but she handled me with such kindness and grace and everything worked out perfectly! The FOOD at The Oaks was absolutely incredible. I had guests telling me during the wedding and I’ve had guests tell me since what a fantastic job they did – we had four appetizers: the stuffed mushrooms, eggplant strips, boudin balls, and seafood au gratin bread; two sides: marinated vegetables and praline sweet potatoes; and three entrees: jambalaya, apple glazed pork, and a beef round carving station. Everything was so so delicious and I was so impressed with the Chef. I thought it was an especially cool touch that The Oaks does a food tasting for all event-planners looking to have an event there every four months! It was a great opportunity to try everything and plan exactly what we wanted. AND they set it up so that we, as the bride and groom, got to have a private dinner just the two of us before entering the reception to spend some special time together and it was one of my favorite moments of the day. The photo booth was also absolutely gorgeous, I love the mirror and the fact that there’s a photo booth attendant there to help guests figure it out and get the pictures in a guest book for us. The ceremony itself was also so pretty – we chose The Oaks because we wanted to get married outside but have the reception indoors and we fell in love with the beautiful oak trees outside the second we saw them. The grand staircase inside also made me feel like a princess on the best day of my life. And we got to take gorgeous getting ready pictures in the bridal suite. Loved our experience there and loved all the staff that made our day possible!

wedding venue contender. Now, the reason it got dragged down to 2 Stars... the wedding host, maybe Taylor? (the blonde). We (14 of the immediate family of the bride) were sent to no less than 4 locations outside and around the venue “to avoid” seeing the bride...1st spot inside, “sit here and face the wall, Do Not Turn Around!” - ok, at least there is a/c. Two minutes later, “Go outside and sit under the Oaks”. We herd outside, sit on what looks like dry chairs (some more than others), only to be moved yet again, to the front porch via 12x12 wobbly pavers sitting in standing water from the earlier monsoon. When I stood up, I found my rear end damp.. I told the host “you may want to do another wipe down of the chairs” in a polite and helpful manner, no less! She, with cold bossy attitude replies, “They have already been wiped”. “I realize this, but some need a second wipe as mine was wet”, I reply. Unbelievably she states, “You will be fine”, and ushers me forward with an aggravating, sweeping of her hand and points me to the paver path. We then stand out front as directed, only to be told to move to the side parking lot...in rocky gravel; all this in gowns, heels, and their attitude. People were in utter disbelief of the chaos and crass - the host deserves 1 Star and that’s terrible as she is the venue representative. She was rude, overly bossy in chaotic directions, and stressed; I never once saw her smile or extend true hospitality. Maybe she hates her job, maybe she has personal stress, maybe she needs to have an etiquette class on how to a host.... I have no idea her issue, but she is the reason I wouldn’t recommend this venue to others and the low star rating. Very unfortunate, really.

w this was the place I wanted to get married. They make wedding planning easy and stressful. I felt so laid back and happy during my wedding. I would honestly give this place a 100/100 recommendation. Have your wedding here you will not regret it! ✨

The inside is just as beautiful as the outside so we didn't have to worry about rain knowing that the team could move the ceremony inside quickly if needed. Alyssa (our coordinator) was very on top of things which was needed to make sure everything is running, however she was a little pushy about our start time. We discussed in our 30 day meeting that we could delay the start time knowing that we still had to leave on time, however when our guest bus was delayed by traffic coming from NOLA we were getting pushed to get the show on the road (with only about 20 of our 70 guests). 2 weeks after being back from our honeymoon and we are still having guests ranting and raving about our wedding. "How beautiful the ceremony was", "the food was amazing", "the staff was great". My cousin who's a vegetarian wanted something other than the salad and mac and cheese that we had(the rest of the food had meat), so she asked the kitchen for a plate of the passed hor d'oeuvres (eggplant parm sticks) and they put together a whole plate for her for dinner. I thought that was very kind, above and beyond. :)

so clearly. Then Alyssa the wedding coordinator was EVERYTHING. She was cool calm and proffessional and put me at ease. The first time i went and saw the venue, when i walked through the doors i started crying becuz it was PERFECT. It was soo enchanting. It smelled amazing too! the staircase is AMAZING!! The Bridal suite upstairs is so perfect for setting up everything. I was sooo comfortable up there getting ready. The grooms room downstairs is nice as well. The Dj contacted me way before my wedding so that we could discuss any music changes. he was great! The private meal IS A MUST!! TRUST ME!! Its the only chance you will get to eat. In peace. It also gives you a moment to decompress a bit. We had about 15min to ourselves with our food and drinks brought to us and wow wow wow!! The food was INCREDIBLE!!! They give you a bride and groom plate at the end of the reception which is sooo great. Alyssa takes care of EVERYTHING!!! I would totally reccomend this venue and it was sooo affordable. EVERYONE says i got a great deal. I wouldnt change a thing about the wedding venue. IT WAS THE WEDDING OF MY DREAMS

ack entrance to eat before we made our grand entrance down the stairs, I was able to relax knowing that she and the rest of the staff had everything taken care of. Our guests raved about the food and kept telling us afterward how beautiful everything was. I have no complaints and highly recommend The Oaks to anyone looking for a stress free reception, and only one vendor to coordinate things with. The Oaks provided or contacted everything and everyone we needed for our reception: the food, the bar, the DJ, some of the decorations (they would have done all of them, but I wanted a few special centerpieces I designed), police officers on site, literally everything except the cakes. Alyssa handled all of my crazy questions, helped us to create a timeline beforehand so that everything flowed smoothly the day of, and went above and beyond the day of (she kept bringing my husband and I drinks throughout the reception, bustled my dress, and rigged one of the umbrellas we used for second line since it had broken in transit). Due to the odd time of our Church ceremony, our reception didn't fall at a regular time, but Don worked with us to make sure the reception happened at the right time. Everyone I spoke with throughout the process was helpful, positive, and professional. We couldn't have asked for a better reception for our big day!

ue to host our one and only wedding was a big decision for us. We went to several locations, and just didn’t leave with a feeling of excitement. A friend of ours referred y’all to us, so we decided to book an appointment. From the first moment after we arrived, we knew this was the place where we wanted our wedding to occur. We made the decision before ever leaving the parking lot. Now that the wedding has completed, we do not regret our decision at all. Everything was perfect! All of the staff was kind and polite to our guest. The food was to die for. I have been to countless weddings before, yet never a wedding with food like we enjoyed Saturday. The to-go dinners we received were greatly unexpected and appreciated. The decorations and lighting matched exactly what we dreamed. The DJ did an excellent job with keeping awesome music going during the entire reception. I was really worried about if many people would fill the dance floor, and was very happy to see them enjoying themselves all the way to the end. Every single person who attended told me how much he or she enjoyed the venue. Alyssa, the following is dedicated to you alone: You had a huge impact and defiantly an integral part to our wedding. Your attention to detail, sense of urgency, professionalism, organization, coordination, and spot on communication was completely above all expectations. Everything went perfect without a single hiccup. We were impressed with your organization during the rehearsal. I have never attended a rehearsal that started and ended on time. Every one of them seemed to just be chaos. We received many compliments about our rehearsals coordination. During the ceremony, you kept everything and every one rolling perfectly in line. The days leading to the wedding were stressful both of us (especially me). I am aware that I may have contacted you way too many times, but what I appreciate was your quick response times to all of my messages. One thing you accomplished that I am truly grateful for was how you handled the beer issue. I am normally a very detailed oriented person, but I failed to tell you the brand of beer that we wanted. Once I uncovered this mistake, you jumped straight to action and made it happen. For this, I am truly impressed and so very thankful. Your knowledge on everything was above expectation. I really hate it when I am talking to a company representative and they say: “I don’t know.” During this entire event, not once did you ever not know what needed to be done. I am also so very thankful that you marketed the photo booth to us. Our guests absolutely loved it! You are awesome at your job, and defiantly have what it takes to create a long career. I will end this with one final statement. If we had to do it all over again, we would one hundred percent select The Oaks on 22 again. We are going to recommend y’all to everybody we talk to you. Great job and thank y’all for everything!!!

specially beautiful at night with the lights they have set up. The inside of the venue is spacious and stunning, especially with the main staircase leading to the dance floor. The staff at The Oaks is really friendly and helpful. Alyssa, the wedding coordinator at The Oaks is amazing. She is so friendly and helpful both to brides and vendors. She is real easy to work with and is excellent with what she does. I've worked a few weddings with her and it's always a pleasure. I can't wait to work many more weddings at The Oaks. Highly recommended!

the venue and go over wedding packages, Don was there to help us and was very hospitable and easy to talk to. He went over an itemized breakdown of costs which was EXTREMELY helpful; not all places we visited have this. The venue was very beautiful with so much to offer. Most importantly, it was very affordable! The only reason why we chose not to go with the Oaks is due to location. My fiance's family is from Slidell (we're from Minnesota) and just think being closer to Slidell will be much more convenient for family, friends, and tending to our fur kids that can't do boarding. It was not an easy decision!

cation! We had our ceremony outside, and it was just stunning - even in the daytime. Our wedding was at 2pm, and it was shaded enough with a breeze to sway the Oak limbs. The picturesque scene made the photographs unbelievably stunning! After the ceremony we went inside for the reception; dinner, drinks and dancing! Alyssa was fantastic to work with, and she helped guide us so that as an "older" bride and groom - she allowed our vision to come to fruition and we were both so proud of the way our event turned out. The facilities are amazing there. My Mother is an Alzheimer's patient and the Bridal Suite allowed me to "control and maintain" her comfortably upstairs. Our little area was perfect to settle my nerves, allow my Mother to be in a "safe space" and allow us to have that moment that Mother's and Brides have. The food.....was fantastic! The chef did a wonderful job, and everyone remarked how good the food was. He certainly lived up to his hype with his prepared dishes. The Oaks absolutely made our special day perfect with the ceremony location, the reception area and the location. Friends and family found it easy to get to, and the facility accommodated our guest perfectly. I would highly recommend The Oaks for anyone getting married, young or old! The team there did an outstanding job and we were pleased beyond words!

their offerings. The only thing I would change would be use of their in-house DJ. While extremely affordable, I’d recommend hiring third party if music is very important to you. Additionally, there wasn’t a microphone available outdoors for us to project our personal vows so the entire congregation could hear. Otherwise, this was a great all inclusive venue. ur rehearsal it came a torrential downpour. Because of this we practiced the ceremony inside and outside just in case. The fact that there is a backup plan and they can flip the inside quickly was great. Thankfully we didn't end up needing it! The day of the wedding Alyssa and her team were great. We waited out the rain as long as possible and it stopped about 2 hours before the ceremony. The team managed to set everything up outside in that time frame and everything was just beautiful. I fell in love with Juliana's the minute we stepped inside. I always wanted a Louisiana wedding with the mossy trees and ambiance and Juliana's gives you all of it. Even though Alyssa made sure we had food I still didn't take time to eat but everyone we talked to said it was all wonderful! I honestly cannot say enough good things about Juliana, Mr. Don, and Alyssa and the rest of the team at Juliana's. Every detail was thought of, even the ones I didn't think about. I kind of wish I would have had a longer reception so that we could have enjoyed it longer! The venue is beautiful, affordable and extremely accommodating. I could not have asked for a more wonderful wedding day!

lights were beautiful and reception hall amazing. My family has now had 3 daughters married and everyone agreed juliana's was the best wedding venue. The Bluetooth system for the ceremony and reception was fantastic. No standing speakers or extra equipment! Mr. Don and the staff went over and above in accommodating us. We had plenty of time to set up and we're able to use the bridal suite all day to get ready. It was very relaxing and nice to have a small little retreat during all the craziness. Oh and we were offered drinks ect. Thought the day getting ready. The staff, omg the staff was wonderful. From Juliana to the girl helping me coordinate the day. They were on top of everything, making sure we were where we needed to be, offering assistance and making sure I had drinks and danced :). Along with a Togo plate at the end of the night. When I was in the suite alone waiting to enter they even had staff come up to open the doors so, you know grand entrance. Don has been absolutely amazing to work with. Always reachable and acomidating where he could be, we could not have asked for a better owner. (And I have worked with a few venue owners. No where near as friendly as don) The food! Wow the food was some of the best food I have ever had. We have a lot of cajun french family members who will notice if the food is bad lol. Every single one of them raved about how delicious the food was. The chef was acomidating and hands down the best chef in a wedding venue I have encountered. (Truthfully one of the best chefs in general.) Worried about clean up? They literally will have all your items stacked on one table at the end of the night ! It was great! There was no family members having to walk around and do this. All we had to do was pack them up. My family said that was the easiest cleanup they have had. And the venue didn't even start until our paid time was up. Most venues will start doing this 30 minutes before. It was just so easy. Don has tried to make Julianas an all inclusive worry free venue, that still has a beautiful backdrop and amazing service and boy does he deliver, if you want worry free, easy to work with and some of the best food and service around, you will not find a better place. Oh and I forgot to mention the price! I spent 2 years looking at venues from new orleans to the Northshore. I even had a barn booked. You will not beat the price at juliana's. It has by far some of the best packages around. Would recommend them to everyone and if I ever needed a large venue again. Would absolutely use them.
