WOW. Jennie is so talented and such a kind person. We booked her before we were even engaged, we fell in love with her work on social media and knew we wanted her to be part of our wedding. Our guests loved watching her work during the reception. We are obsessed with our wedding painting and find ourselves staring at it on our wall often. She also surprised our parents with prints in the mail after, which was amazing. If you are thinking about a live painter, do it! Jennie’s work was our favorite part of our wedding.

Jennie is an AMAZING artist and captured our reception perfectly in our wedding painting! She painted my sister’s wedding painting in 2019, and I immediately knew I wanted to hire her again for mine. Highly recommend Jennie for your live wedding painting!

Jennie is as kind as she is talented! She live painted our first dance at our wedding in 2016, and we still cherish that piece of art so much. We loved it so much that we even had Jennie make her art into thank you notes (for a small additional cost) for guest thank yous, which were a big hit and so special/unique! Jennie is fabulous! I contacted Jennie to live paint our sons wedding as a gift to he and his soon to be wife. Jennie responded to each email and any questions timely and with clarity. Jennie then continued to communicate with our DIL on exactly what our DIL wanted. Our son and new DIL absolutely love the painting. It was fun to have her at the wedding for guests to watch and admire the progress and final painting.

I hired Jennie Lou to do a live painting as a surprise for my daughter and her new husband. She was so easy to work with and traveled from Denver to Austin last summer. She did such a beautiful portrait of their first dance and they were thrilled. It is hanging in their new house and everyone who sees it greatly admires it. Jennie Lou Art painted the most picture PERFECT canvas of our wedding reception that reflected the identical vibe, our closest family and friend guests, and all the special details of our big day that I will display for guests in our home forever and ever! I cannot put into words how happy I am with our beautiful painting! I didn't see myself framing many of our wedding photos with family and friends, so we thought this would be a cool way to capture everyone. Jennie did an AMAZING job capturing our reception. To say we love our wedding painting is a major understatement. I had always loved the idea of a live wedding painter, but never really saw a finished product that I way crazy about. When my wedding planner, Elle, sent me a link to Jennie’s work, I knew we had to have her. All her paintings were so fun and abstract, yet somehow still included personal details of the wedding, which is exactly what I was looking for. Ben told me the day after our wedding that he wasn’t that into the idea of a live painting, but knew I wanted one so he just went along with it. He said he could not have been more wrong and loved seeing it come to life and is so glad we will have this amazing memory to keep forever! We just bought a house and are currently contemplating the best place to show off the masterpiece. Jennie, we can not thank you enough for giving us this precious memory we will cherish forever!

If anybody ever asks me for advice on wedding planning, I just send them the link to Jennie's website and tell them that they HAVE to hire her to paint their wedding. The painting Jennie did for us at our wedding is honestly one of my favorite memories/things about that day. Jennie was SO easy to work with and went completely above and beyond even our highest expectations. We still have people tell us all the time that watching Jennie do the painting was one of the most unique things they've ever seen at a wedding—we absolutely love it! Our painting hangs beautifully in our family room and it's the most beautiful daily reminder of our special day. We had an outdoor wedding in the foothills of Colorado in May. Our wedding day was sunny and gloomy and rainy and then sunny again—if you're familiar with Colorado weather you'll totally understand. :) Jennie captured every moment beautifully and it's truly something we'll admire forever. We loved our painting so much that we asked Jennie to do a painting for my sister and her husband as a Christmas gift. They also LOVE their piece—it was such a special gift.

I am fortunate enough to own several originals from Jennie Lou Art (check out her instagram @jennielouart) but one of my most cherished possessions is the piece my husband commissioned as an anniversary gift. It’s prominently displayed in our living room and will be until the end of time. Had we known about this service before having our wedding, we would have booked her in a heartbeat—even with the cost of travel to get her to us! I’ve watched her stories on IG, and seen her in action that way and her service is such a cool addition to a celebration. In regards to customer service; she is a gem! I’ve contacted her multiple times and her responses are prompt and she is always courteous. I really can not recommend her skills enough for live painting or commissions after the event.

Jennie has painted two pieces for us and she truly captures the magic in her painting. You will cherish her work forever. Our big one is hanging in the most prominent spot in our house and we get so many compliments! Most importantly it is all we wanted and more!

Jennie painted my wedding ceremony and it is a piece that my husband and I will cherish forever, and even pass down to our children. Jennie really captures the feeling of the event. I am in awe of her work.

My husband surprised me with Jennie at our wedding! I walked up to the dance floor and there she was, painting the barn and our guests. Jennie is simply amazing. She painted a gorgeous portrait at my daughter's wedding reception, and her work added such a special and unique touch that the guests enjoyed watching. Photos are fabulous, but there really isn’t anything else you can compare to having a painting of the actual wedding. I assume a painting could be done following the wedding from a photograph, but you were able to craft what you deemed best from the whole night. Also, it really served as entertainment for the guests and was like an activity at the wedding.
