Living Waters on Lake Travis

The venue is beautiful, exactly what you want if you’re looking for a simple, DIY venue with plenty of overnight guest quarters. We did have some trouble getting into contact with them when the venue unexpectedly changed owners. The old owner didn’t forward anything about our wedding to the new owners and they were a little rude to me when I questioned them about our contract. We almost had to rebook a new venue in August (three months before our wedding) because we hadn’t heard from them in two months after multiple emails. It took my dad driving out to the venue for them to respond to our emails. But once we handled that, it was relatively smooth sailing. The parking is challenging due to the unfriendly neighbors, we were told multiple times about how the man across the street will tow anyone who parks on his side of the street. Our 120 person reception stretching parking to the limit. It is extremely DIY, with limited outdoor lighting, so plan to supply your own flood lights. Still, even with all the unexpected curveballs with the venue, it ended up being absolutely perfect. Our simple Celtic wedding fit the venue perfectly. Just be prepared for some legwork as far as decor, lighting, parking, etc.
